I tried to add an assistant program on the mail app, but now I cannot open it. Is there anyway i can re-install the mail app?

Thanks.If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data, then reinstall the OS. You don't need to erase the startup volume, and you won't need your backup unless something goes wrong. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade.
If you installed the Java runtime distributed by Apple and still need it, you'll have to reinstall it. -

When i double click on an item in the firefox dowloads window the item dos'nt open.Left clicking on the item dose not give me the choice to "open" the item.
the downloaded item is a pdf file of 59 kb, and was downloaded using adobe acrobat version 5I have sort of the exact same problem. Extremely far away from user friendly
I have an second issue as well: When I hook off all-day it comes up with an 8 hour event!
And then if I put in a late start hour it pushes end time to next day due to the 8 hour event suggestion.
All in all this gives a lot of changes just to enter an event.

Cannot open facebook - have had this problem since yester
Hey - i canot open facebook since yesterday . Sometimes after a while there comes a little window and ask if i want to open the side as pure text . Sometimes i can come in to the side but nothing is working, does not answere when clicking on any button. Now i have deleted history and now it says : The connection to the server was interrupted while the page loaded.
Are you using a normal connection or a secure connection with Facebook?

Not certain, but this can fix myriad Mail problems...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move this folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist.backup
Note, in 10.5 & up /Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/ may or may not exist. -
I recently changed my aol password and right after I changed, I cannot get mail. I get a a pop up block that says, Cannot Get Mail, the user name or password for AOL is incorrect, settings, OK. I go to settings as suggested but the account area is grayed out and will not let me open. Need help on how to fix this problem. I tried sync with my PC and that did not help either.
It sounds like you might need to contact Yahoo! if you aren't able to setup your email account as a new account after deleting it.

It sounds like you can't open your Music app on your iPhone after the update? First, try force closing the Music app if it is open in multitasking, which you can find out how to do here:

And if that doesn't work, I would reset the device:

I made a purchase with my debit card on The Simpson Tapped out game, And now my game won't open. It just kicks me out every time I click on it. How do I fix this problem with out deleting my app?
Personally, I would never use a debit card online, for security reasons. If your card gets hacked its your money that is stolen. At least with a credit card it is the card providers money that is stolen.
Anyway, I would delete the app and re-install. If you paid for the app in the first place you will be able to re-install free of charge. Also, the app should allow the in-app purchase to happen again as it should recognise that you have already purchased it previously.
Finally, it might be that the 3G doesnt have as much ram as more recent models of iphone and you may have applications running in the background that are preventing the app to function with the in-app purchase unless you shut down any apps eating all you memory that are running in the background. Shut-down these apps (and the simpson tap out app) by exiting to your home screen and double-tapping the home button to show what apps are running in the background. press and hold any of the open apps until it starts shaking. close all the apps down. exit then re-launch the app.

pick the mail account that is not sending
if your outgoing mail server states it offline as mine did
click the dropdown and than click edit smtp
a window will come up that says account information and advanced

For some reason Safari and App store won't open anymore. Everytime I try to open them they crash and it says it's because of the webkit2 plug-in. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

You do NOT need to restore your iPad.
I believe that the problem is that there is a disconnect with your iTunes account and your iPad. What you are experiencing is a somewhat common issue after you sync your iPad, update your device - it could be a number of reasons that are causing it. the recommended fix is to download another app in order to "reconnect" your ID and iTunes account to the iPad.
You can read more about it here. You will need a WiFi internet connection in order to fix it - or you have to be able to sync with your own iTunes library.
