Mail not receiving and Proxi.app (Griffin Technology)

If you got Proxi.app (Griffin Technology) installed..Download and install the new Proxi 1.5.4 that came out today.
It will solve the "*Mail doesn't downloading mails to mailbox*" problem!

I have this same problem as well. Mail will work fine for a few hours then it will get "stuck" on downloading a message. I never gets unstuck and I can't quit mail or the activity of downloading the mail - thus I have to force quit the app several times a day. It will also occasionally tell me to rebuild the index, which I do, but it only seems to help for a couple of hours until the next message gets stuck while downloading. Mail.app ran fine up until recently.
The only thing I can think of recently is that I have been on some sites that say "if you visit this site it may damage your computer" - I never downloaded anything... can malware be added to you computer just by visiting a site via the safari browser? I ran a malware/virus scan and it found mostly windows malware/viruses in old archived email attachments. Any ides?
FWIW: I'm using POP accounts and keeping them on the server for 1 week

Windows mail not receiving all emails

I have set up my emails (using windows live mail) but some mails are received and
others are not received. I have the mails forwarded to
a gmail account but i prefer to using windows mail, and that's where i noticed that some are getting received while others go missing.I
have tried uninstalling and re-installing but still nothing.
I have a setup from receiving mails from server using POP3 server (995) SSL. Note these are recommended settings.
Please answer i am in great need since i seem to be missing some very important emails. note: i have no filters of spam filters no nothing.

Live mail does not work well with Gmail
Use IMAP with GMAIL which will work better, log in to the server and change the settings

Have you tried the connection doctor? In Mail menu bar under Window connection doctor, this will usually let you know where the problem might be.

Are there any error messages?
Knowing what you see or are experiencing can help diagnose it.
In the meantime, a common fix, hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds and see if you can force it to rebood. If you see a silver apple, let go and let it reboot and see if that helps.

Mail not receiving emails but sending them ok. It says updated at 11:28 but that was six hours ago and it won't update.

Mail offline (receiving and sending), but not on all mac's

I've got severall mac's. All contain the same mail accounts, all running mavericks. On 1 mac I continuasly keep having problems with mail, saying that my accounts are off line. On other mac's the same accounts with the same settingd work fine.
I've tried restarting, turing mail online and offline several times etc. Nothing helps.
Any tips?

Mac mail not receiving or sending messages.

My mail keeps saying it wont receive my emails bc of an smpt server being wrong?

By the information that you have provided, it sounds like you are using STAMINA mode. If you are using STAMINA mode, you need to set WhatsApp as active in standby via Settings > Power management > STAMINA mode > Apps active in standby > Add applications > WhatsApp.

Mac mail not receiving mail timely - through the web or mac mail on computer

for the past few days - my email works in the morning - then all afternoon - I can not receive email... sending is fine... then at about 7:30 at night - it all comes through - what is going on... this is ridiculous.

none are working - come on let's get this issue resolved it IS a mac mail issue Apple - fess up and fix it.

mail goes into sent folder, there is a sound as normal, there is NO error message. i verify by send a copy to me or to my colleagues
A sent message moved to the account's Sent mailbox indicates the message was successfully sent by the SMTP server used to send messages with the account. If the message cannot be sent for whatever reason, the message will remain in the Outbox mailbox with an error message provided. A successfully sent message is no guarantee the message will be accepted and received by the recipient's incoming mail server.
EVEN using web based mac.com to access mail (from location(work)), i cannot send mail!
When using webmail access to send a message with your .Mac account at work, is the message sent as with the Mail application and placed in the account's Sent mailbox which indicates the message was successfully sent but is not received or does something different occur?

Then try selecting Gmail's SMTP server to send messages with your .Mac account when using the Mail application to see if this makes any difference or have you already tried this?
i have used another Ibook to try both via Mail.app and web-mased mac mail from location (work) but also will not complete the send.

I sent like 6 msgs today and all day could not get one freaken message delivered. I have now permenetly turned off iMessage. The service in my opinon is horrible, not reliable and annoying. This is not the first time I couldnt get messages through.
In general iOS5 has caused me more problems then solutions.

Receiver Mail adapter - mail package - mail not received

I'm using receiver mail adapter and when I want to use Mail Package (subject is assign dinamically based on mapping) I do not receive the e-mail. When I switch to not using Mail Package, the mail is sent correctly..
In RWB everything seems to be ok, it says mail sent successfully... just not to my outlook
Any ideas, what could be wrong?

Which fields are neccessary to fill? Is from, to and content enough? I think it should be...

Since installing the latest update my Mail won't receive any new emails from my business account run through gmail.

Receiving fine on iPhone and through Thunderbird.

I am having the same problems. I am not receiving email to one of the six addresses I have in Mail. Ever since I updated to Mavericks, I've had problems with Apple Mail. I checked the activity and conneciton doctor, everything is green and connection is fine, but no email. I only receive the message if I quit mail and restart.
I've been using apple for 10 years, and in the last year or so noticed they are going the way of windows in that there programs don't "just work" anymore. There are more and more issues creeping up with each new update.
