Mail repeats characters in heading lines

Hi
since I upgraded to Leopard Mail.app started with this strange behavior: I can enter only one address per line. When I try to enter a second one, it starts repeating the characters I enter in sequence. For instance, if I try to enter the word "Peter" what I get is "ppepetpetepeter" (which is, by the way ppe+pet+pepepeter). It's like if when I enter one character the system copies it and enters it again together with the next.
Besides, I cannot delete these strange characters. The only way to remove them is to select and copy them.
I've found this same behavior in other apps. For instance, in the tagging line of Leap.
In Address Book is even worse. It does the same thing but in the end doesn't let me save the changes to any address.
I have all the system upgrades, and a previous generation iMac.
Does anyone has a clue about what's causing this?
Thanx in advance
João

In the original User Account, try quitting Mail, and then in the Finder open Home/Library/Preferences and find the com.apple.mail.plist file and delete it. Then relaunch Mail and set your accounts up again, and decline to import anything. Mail should then rediscover your account folders.
Removing the com.apple.mail.plist file will not threaten the contents of your On My Mac mailboxes (which are in the Mailboxes folder and not any account folder). However, for complete safety make a duplicate of either the Mailboxes folder or the entire Mail folder, and temporarily keep that copy on your Desktop for backup.

  • Extra header lines appearing in payload after singning and encrypting in Mail Receiver adapter PI 7.31

    Hi,
    We have a mail receiver adapter which is sending out a edi payload as attachment to the external receiver.
    When we send the normal .edi file it is ok.
    But when we sign and encrypt the payload and send it out, the external customer receiver decrypts and validates the message successfully but when their application tries to read the edi payload it finds the extra header lines as below :
      content-id:
    <[email protected]>
    Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=xxxxxxxx.edi Content-Type:
    application/xml
    At their end, their application (DataPower) expects the first three characters of the payload
    (decrypted payload) to be either UNA or UNB.This is how it validates whether the incoming message is an EDI message.
    But it encounters the extra MIME headers in the payload.
    Therefore it gets rejected by DataPower which thinks the content is an
    unknown message type.
    How to suppress the header lines appearing in the payload(after decryption and validation).
    Thanks,
    Guest

    hi,
    try content-type as "text/xml"

  • Invoice List-Header & line items

    Dear Expert,
    If I want to create an invoice list which both AR invoice header & line items, then how can I create it as the line items has the same header?
    Could you advise this?
    Thank you.
    Raymond

    Hi Raymond,
    You can use the following query,
    SELECT T0.CardCode, T0.CardName, T1.ItemCode, T1.Dscription, T1.Quantity FROM OINV T0  INNER JOIN INV1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
    If you are using QPLD for this then you can sort and group header items so that not to repeat again n again with row items.

  • ALV: Display Header,  line item, information after page break .............

    Hi .
    I am facing problem in displaying a particular layout in ALV.
    the layout is as follows:
    1. Header part
    2. Line item
    3. There is field customer and after every change of customer do page break and display information like how many record read and how many record processed. below is brief detail about how to get read and processed record.
    I have two internal table  say table1 and table2.
       Looping table1
      increase the counter as counter_read = counter_read +1.
    compare the record with table2.
    if matches
    increase the counter as counter_process = counter_process + 1.
    4. At the end of report display a error log.
       to get the error log we will follow the above logic and if record not matched then display as error record.
    Please help ASAP to find the solution.
    Thanks in advance

    There is a knowledge base article C2014229 (1210986 - Subreports do not have a Page Header) , but instead of providing link I will just copy content here:
    Symptom
    Since subreports are objects in the Main Report, they do not contain Page Headers. How can you create a fake page header for subreports?
    Resolution
    To create a fake page header for subreports, use the following steps:
    1. In the subreport, create a formula:
    @FakePageHeader
    //name of formula
    WhileReadingRecords;
    2. Go to the 'Insert' menu and click 'Group'. Select the @FakePageHeader formula.
    3. Select the 'Repeat Group Header on Each New Page' option, and click 'OK'.
    This inserts a new group at the lowest, or innermost, grouping level. You will need to move this group to the highest, or outermost, grouping level.
    4. Go to 'Report' menu and click 'Group Expert'. Use the up arrow to move this newest group up to the top of the list.
    5. Move all the headers that you would like repeated into this Header for the @FakePageHeader group.
    Hope it will help.

  • Printing the First 14 Characters of Every Line in a Text File

    My text file looks like the following:
    1111097116274, H0101C58F8110C005, 1, 16:48:03
    1111097116274, H0100058F8110C006, 2, 16:48:10
    1111097116274, H00F0458F8110C006, 3, 16:48:12I want my java program to print the first 14 characters of every line. Here's what I have:
    import java.awt.*;
    import javax.swing.JOptionPane;
    import java.io.*;
    public class Read {
         public static void main( String args[] ) {
        try {
            BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(new FileReader("aFile.txt"));
            String line;;
            /*String tagid;*/
            while ((line = in.readLine()) != null) {
                 char[] tagid = line.toCharArray();
                 line.getChars(0, 14, tagid, 0);
                 System.out.println(tagid);
            in.close();
        } catch (IOException e) {
             JOptionPane.showMessageDialog( null, "Error" );
             System.exit(0);
         Instead of printing the first 14 characters of every line to output, it prints the whole text file.
    Any ideas of what's wrong?
    Thanks.

    Well, that's the thing with a highly tuned, precision engine like your mind, JosAH. Adding a little alchohol to the fuel mix provides a performance boost, but as the alcohol/fuel ration increases, the performance improvement peaks and then degrades, until the performance is actually reduced. Now, I understand that in the case of the magic Grolsch, this performance curve is shifted farther to the right (graphed with Grolsch count as the independent variable, and performance improvement as the dependent variable), but it still occurs.
    I recommend nitrous oxide. You may need to get your piston heads hardened, though.

  • Dropping characters in text lines (FM8)

    I'm experiencing problems with dropped characters in text lines. Also, I've noticed the history doesn't seem to log all changes made to text lines. The problem can be duplicated as follows:
    1. Open a new portrait blank document and add an anchored frame. (recorded in history)
    2. Add a text line inside the anchored frame from the Tools Palette. In the text line, type "1234" (recorded in history).
    3. Save the file. (history cleared)
    4. Click the cursor after the "4" in the text line and hit a carriage return to create a new text line. (not recorded in history)
    5. In the new text line, type "1234567890"(not recorded in history)
    6. Save the file.
    7. Refresh the screen (cntl l) and the second text line now reads "12346890" (dropped the 5 and 7). Printing the file in steps 5 and 6 also show the 5 and 7 are missing.
    8. Add a new text line inside the anchored frame from the Tools Palette. In the text line, type "12345" (recorded in history).
    9. Save the file. (history cleared)
    10. Click the cursor after the "5" in the text line from step 8 and hit a carriage return to create a new text line. (not recorded in history)
    11. In the new text line, type "1234567890"(not recorded in history)
    12. Save the file.
    13. Refresh the screen and the second text line now reads "12345790" (dropped the 6 and 8).
    Has anyone else seen this problem (or can duplicate it)?
    Also, can someone explain why some of the steps above are not recorded in the history.
    FYI, while trying to find a repeatable sequence to demonstrate this problem, Frame crashed on me.
    I'm running a trial version of Frame 8, version 8.0p273, with XP Pro, on a fairly new Dell Optiplex 740.
    Thanks,
    Jeff Schweiner

    Hi Jeff,
    I have now tried what you're doing and get the same result!
    I have also added a text line with characters a to z. After saving ad doing a ctrl-l, the character after the last one, and the character second after that, in the previous line, was removed. (I first typed "abcd", saved, made a new line, typed "abcdefghi", saved, made ctrl-l, the characters "e" and "g" were removed).
    I have the same version of FrameMaker + SGML, but this is a licensed version, running on Win 2000.

  • Put Date Before Header Line in Receiver FCC

    Hi,
    I have to create a csv file with format :
    Date : dd/mm/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy
    PRODUCT_CODE,NAME,ADDRESS
    123,ABC,xyz
    123,ABC,xyz
    123,ABC,xyz
    123,ABC,xyz
    123,ABC,xyz
    How should i achieve putting the date before header line?
    What should be my target structure format?
    What parameters to enter in receiver FCC?

    Hi,
    have you tried..
    Have you tried:
    (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e3/94007075cae04f930cc4c034e411e1/frameset.htm)
    ● NameA.enclosureSign
    Specify a string that acts as a text delimiter.
    Text enclosed by such delimiters is transferred to the target structure unchanged, although the default setting is to remove all text delimiters. Separators within such texts are ignored.
    This parameter is optional. The default setting is an empty value (no text delimiter).
    ● NameA.enclosureSignEnd
    If the text delimiters for the beginning and end of the text are different, specify the text delimiter for the end of the text here.
    If you do not make an entry here, the entry from NameA.enclosureSign is used.
    ● NameA.enclosureSignEscape
    Specify a string that replaces the text delimiter if it occurs within a text that it delimits.
    When the text is transferred the string is replaced by the value specified in NameA.enclosureSign .
    ● NameA.enclosureSignEndEscape
    Specify a string that replaces the text delimiter for the end of the text if it occurs within a text that it delimits.
    When the text is transferred the string is replaced by the value specified in NameA.enclosureSignEnd.
    ● NameA.enclosureConversion
    To remove the delimiter upon transfer, or to replace it with escape characters, enter YES. This is the default value.
    To transfer the characters unchanged enter NO.
    Note
    If you specify xml.enclosureSign=“ and xml.enclosureSignEsc=““, text enclosed in quotation marks is transferred unchanged and the quotation marks are removed.
    If the escape character for a quotation mark (““) occurs in the text itself, it is replaced by the quotation mark during the transfer.
    Thanks,
    Vijaya.

  • Receiver FCC Needs to Show Header Lines

    Hi,
    I'm making a Receiver File Adapter using File Content Conversion with an expected output of a CSV file. My structure is:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <ns0:CostCenter_Test xmlns:ns0="http://namespace.com/xi/system/IF00000111/100" partition="SAPDemo" variant="SAP">
      <CostCenter_CostCenterPull_Item>
         <item>
            <UniqueName>Unique</UniqueName>
            <CompanyCode>FRAA</CompanyCode>
            <CostCenterDescription1>Test Cost Center</CostCenterDescription1>
            <CostCenterDescription>Test Cost Center Ver 1234</CostCenterDescription>
         </item>
    </CostCenter_CostCenterPull_Item>
    </ns0:CostCenter_Test>
    <item> node would be repeating.
    Recordset Structure is: Main, item
    Params:
    Main.fieldSeparator: #
    item.fieldSeparator: ","
    item.beginSeparator: "
    item.endSeparator: "'n'
    Problem: I can't add a headerline.
    Question: Is this because I have two 'structures'?
    Another problem is that if I only make one Recordset Structure (i.e. item), the output would only be: "Unique". But it would show the header lines.
    Do I need to add another 'structure', just for the header lines?

    Hi,
    You may add header line.
    Define structure as
    Root
       item
          field1
          field2 ....
    and give item.addHeaderLine = 1.
    It will generate header line as field1 , field2 ....
    You may also define your own header line.
    Please check below link for more information:

  • Alv - how to create a broader header line?

    I'm using the 'TOP_OF_PAGE' parameter within 'AVL_GRID_DISPLAY' FM in connection with 'REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE' to create a Header Line for the List-display.
    My Problem is, that I really need to get a broader header with approx. 120 characters but the only structure, 'REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE' seems to allow is 'slis_listheader' which is only three fields broad with 80 characters.
    I need a line with 6 fields and 120 to 150 characters - how can i possibly submit that to the function module, or somehow different to 'TOP_OF_PAGE'...?
    Thanks, Clemens

    Clemens
    I think you will have to format the header yourself.
    The problem is that you need to have a pointer to the document (cl_dd_document class) so you can modify it as you want. The only way I found is to use I_CALLBACK_HTML_TOP_OF_PAGE parameter when you call REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.
    Unortunately, the form specified in I_CALLBACK_TOP_OF_PAGE parameter for REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY FM is not being called with any parameters. Therefore can't be used to create your heading.
    Now, you need to call your FM like this:
      CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
           EXPORTING
                I_CALLBACK_HTML_TOP_OF_PAGE = 'TOP_OF_PAGE1'
    ...other parameters....
    then you will need to create that FORM:
    FORM TOP_OF_PAGE1 USING p_doc type ref to cl_dd_document.
    DATA: mytoptext(255) TYPE C.
    CONCATENATE 'This is my very long text. Probably about 140 chars long'
      'or more just to check if it all appears as is. Hopefully with a bit'
      'of luck we might have some success here.'
      into mytoptext separated by space.
    CALL METHOD p_doc->new_line.
    CALL METHOD p_doc->add_text
        EXPORTING text  = mytoptext.
    ENDFORM.
    I advise that you have a look on the original SAP FM (REUSE_ALV_GRID_COMMENTARY_SET), which is used to format your commentary (through memorised parameter DYNDOS_FOR_ALV) and based on that you can make your heading.
    If you can't use I_CALLBACK_HTML_TOP_OF_PAGE parameter then probably defining your own grid is a solution (a bit longer to implement, though).
    Hope this helps.

  • Not getting email on MAcBook Pro, but receiving on iPhone. Getting message "Warning Recent errors logged" It repeatedly states "The Header From: address postoffice is not authorised - please go to control add PHP" But I only have 1 email address.

    I am suddenly not getting email on my MacBook Pro, but am receiving e-mail on my iPhone. I'm getting message "Warning Recent errors logged" It repeatedly states "The Header From: address <postoffice> is not authorised - please go to control add PHP" But I only have 1 email address. I'm afraid to add anything on since I don't even know what this other e-mail address is. What should I do? And would this definitely be the cause of my not receiving e-mail?

    I pressed check again and here is what appeared:

  • Add new email header line and add Bcc recepient to this additional header.

    Hi Folks,
    iMS5.2p1, Solaris 8.
    Just after a few directions. I have a 'catch-all' mbox, that customer POP's. The customer then uses MDaemon to deliver email, based on rules to correct recepients, works fine until a Bcc comes in, as quoted below.
    Why doesn't MDaemon parse the BCC header?
    BCC only works with SMTP mail. By definition, the carbon copy is "Blind".
    There are no headers in the message which can be parsed using the POP3 method that would provide the address. The only hope for these kinds of messages is to get the ISP to stamp the message file with the delivery information from the SMTP session during delivery to the ISP. For example, when the person sends the BCC message to the ISP hosting the mail, some of them stamp a header called "Deliver-To:" into the message. MDaemon could pick up on such a header if it existed.
    I know I would have to tackle this with either a re-write/mapping/conversion, but not sure what the best approach, ie to add and rewrite the Bcc, recepient into the new 'Deliver-To:' header.
    Any good solutions/tips ?
    Cheers folks.

    Hi Jay,
    Sorry if there is any confusion. The customer at his premises has a server running this mail app. called MDaemon, which uses filters to deliver to local mboxes for their users. The customer in question just wanted a 'catch-all' mbox with iMS for his domain (which we host), to just POP3 this mbox and then the customer's MDaemon app, parses through filters to deliver to correct local mbox. They didn't want to have each user's mbox hosted on iMS....as yet anyway, thus the need for 'catch-all' delivery of email for the customer domain to one iMS mbox.
    The problem is with any Bcc email for customer's domain. As described POP3 as per definition hides the Bcc line, thus MDeamon filters at customer end will fail delivery to intended recepient. Thus the doco from MDaemon as explained to me from the customer can handle additional header lines and parse that way. Thus the need to add the recepient in the Bcc line to an additional header (ie. Deliver-To: [Bcc smtp recepient]). Then as MDeamon doco says it can be setup to parse and deliver to correct local mbox. I hope that my be a little clearer.
    So I need to on iMS rewrite any Bcc recepient for customers 'catch-all' mail domain and add another header line (ie. Deliver-To: [Bcc smtp recpient]). So when customer POP's iMS mbox, Mdeamon at customer's end will parse and deliver locally.
    Hope that makes sense and the best way to add an additional header and take the original Bcc line and add to to new header is.....hopefully a pointer from your good self.
    Cheers.

  • SE16N Export Local File - Header Line Every 60,000 Records

    Good Day,
       After a recent system upgrade to SAP ECC 6.0 Release 701, Level 007 (from Level 004), we received word that exporting to a local file from SE16N now creates a header line after every 60,000 records.  This occurs on both SAP GUI 7.10 Patch 15 and SAP GUI 7.20.
       We found notes 1309128 and 1017586, but our service pack level already implements the correction instructions listed. Is there a parameter (either system wide or SAP GUI specific) that needs to be set to disable the header lines? Is there anything else that we can check?
    Thank you for any help you may be able to provide!

    Hi,
    Sure it is unusual.
    have you checked whether the "header" was not repeated in the internal table itself?
    Best regards,
    Guillaume

  • How to print header lines at the top of every page with Alv list display?

    Dear all,
    I need a requirement with printing issue. A program list should be printed with the function reuse_alv_list_display.
    The list has several pages and then can be printed but the header lines appear only first page when they printed. The other pages don't have header lines, they continue with the next record of the list remaining from previous page. I use the alv parameters as below:
      CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY'
        EXPORTING
          i_callback_program       = l_repid
          i_callback_pf_status_set = 'ALV_PF_STATUS'
          is_layout                = ls_layo
          it_fieldcat              = lt_fcat
          i_default                = 'X'
          i_save                   = 'A'
          is_variant               = ls_variant
          it_events                = lt_events
        TABLES
          t_outtab                 = lt_data
        EXCEPTIONS
          program_error            = 1
          OTHERS                   = 2.
    and lt_events as below:
      ls_event-name = 'END_OF_LIST'.
      ls_event-form = 'ALV_END_OF_LIST'.
      APPEND ls_event TO lt_events.
      ls_event-name = 'END_OF_PAGE'.
      ls_event-form = 'ALV_END_OF_PAGE'.
      APPEND ls_event TO lt_events.
      ls_event-name = 'TOP_OF_LIST'.
      ls_event-form = 'ALV_TOP_OF_LIST'.
      APPEND ls_event TO lt_events.
      ls_event-name = 'TOP_OF_PAGE'.
      ls_event-form = 'ALV_TOP_OF_PAGE'.
      APPEND ls_event TO lt_events.
    So, how can I print header lines for every page?
    Best Regards,

    Hello Saba,
    Your point might be very close to solution.
    Because in the selection screen of the program there are two radio buttons, one of them visits 'REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE' function and the other doesn't. The one which visits has a problem with header liens in every page when printing. But I couldn't find out the solution yet.
    reuse_alv_list_display uses 4 event and of course I call subroutine. There are end_of_list, end_of_page, top_of_list and top_of_page. I use in the subroutine for top_of_page:
      CALL FUNCTION 'LVC_TRANSFER_TO_SLIS'
        EXPORTING
          it_fieldcat_lvc         = gt_fcat
        IMPORTING
          et_fieldcat_alv         = lt_fcat
        EXCEPTIONS
          it_data_missing         = 1
          it_fieldcat_lvc_missing = 2
          OTHERS                  = 3.
      CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_LIST_WIDTH_GET'
        EXPORTING
          it_fieldcat = lt_fcat
        IMPORTING
          e_width     = l_width.
    WRITE l_reptx TO l_reptx CENTERED.
      NEW-LINE.
      WRITE: AT (l_width) l_reptx CENTERED.
      SUBTRACT 10 FROM l_width.
      WRITE: AT l_width sy-pagno RIGHT-JUSTIFIED.
        CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE'
          EXPORTING
            it_list_commentary       = lt_header
      I_LOGO                   =
      I_END_OF_LIST_GRID       =
    Do you have other suggestions ?

  • How to add header line in a file from XI system using file adapters

    Hi All,
    I need to add header line (Column names) in a file coming from XI system.
    I am using file adapters.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Gaurav Mittal

    The Receiver File Adapter is configured, using the following settings:
    1) Choose File Content Conversion as the Message Protocol.
    2) You give the ‘addHeaderLine’ parameter as 1
    3) For the ‘fieldSeparator’ parameter you need to give field separator for both list and substructure (referring to the data type above). For eg: it may be a ‘,’ (comma) for substructure in a comma separated file.
    4) The ‘endSeparator’ parameter needs to given for substructure only. For eg: it may be a ‘nl’ (new line)
    5) Give the file name, the directory and the Construction mode. Activate all the settings. Receiver File Adapter with F.C.C. is configured.

  • With header line & with out header line ?

    what is difference between with header line & without header line ?

    When you create an internal table object you can also declare a header line with the same name. You can use the header line as a work area when you process the internal table. The ABAP statements that you use with internal tables have short forms that you can use if your internal table has a header line. These statements automatically assume the header line as an implicit work area. The following table shows the statements that you must use for internal tables without a header line, and the equivalent statements that you can use for internal tables with a header line:
    Operations without header line
    Operations with header line
    Operations for all Table Types
    INSERT <wa> INTO TABLE <itab>.
    INSERT TABLE ITAB.
    COLLECT <wa> INTO <itab>.
    COLLECT <itab>.
    READ TABLE <itab> ... INTO <wa>.
    READ TABLE <itab> ...
    MODIFY TABLE <itab> FROM <wa> ...
    MODIFY TABLE <itab> ...
    MODIFY <itab> FROM <wa> ...WHERE ...
    MODIFY <itab> ... WHERE ...
    DELETE TABLE <itab> FROM <wa>.
    DELETE TABLE <itab>.
    LOOP AT ITAB INTO <wa> ...
    LOOP AT ITAB ...
    Operations for Index Tables
    APPEND <wa> TO <itab>.
    APPEND <itab>.
    INSERT <wa> INTO <itab> ...
    INSERT <itab> ...
    MODIFY <itab> FROM <wa> ...
    MODIFY <itab> ...
    Using the header line as a work area means that you can use shorter statements; however, they are not necessarily easier to understand, since you cannot immediately recognize the origin and target of the assignment. Furthermore, the fact that the table and its header line have the same name can cause confusion in operations with entire internal tables. To avoid confusion, you should use internal tables with differently-named work areas.
    The following example shows two programs with the same function. One uses a header line, the other does not.
    With header line:
    TYPES: BEGIN OF LINE,
    COL1 TYPE I,
    COL2 TYPE I,
    END OF LINE.
    DATA ITAB TYPE HASHED TABLE OF LINE WITH UNIQUE KEY COL1
    WITH HEADER LINE.
    DO 4 TIMES.
    ITAB-COL1 = SY-INDEX.
    ITAB-COL2 = SY-INDEX ** 2.
    INSERT TABLE ITAB.
    ENDDO.
    ITAB-COL1 = 2.
    READ TABLE ITAB FROM ITAB.
    ITAB-COL2 = 100.
    MODIFY TABLE ITAB.
    ITAB-COL1 = 4.
    DELETE TABLE ITAB.
    LOOP AT ITAB.
    WRITE: / ITAB-COL1, ITAB-COL2.
    ENDLOOP.
    Without header line:
    TYPES: BEGIN OF LINE,
    COL1 TYPE I,
    COL2 TYPE I,
    END OF LINE.
    DATA: ITAB TYPE HASHED TABLE OF LINE WITH UNIQUE KEY COL1,
    WA LIKE LINE OF ITAB.
    DO 4 TIMES.
    WA-COL1 = SY-INDEX.
    WA-COL2 = SY-INDEX ** 2.
    INSERT WA INTO TABLE ITAB.
    ENDDO.
    WA-COL1 = 2.
    READ TABLE ITAB FROM WA INTO WA.
    WA-COL2 = 100.
    MODIFY TABLE ITAB FROM WA.
    WA-COL1 = 4.
    DELETE TABLE ITAB FROM WA.
    LOOP AT ITAB INTO WA.
    WRITE: / WA-COL1, WA-COL2.
    ENDLOOP.
    The list, in both cases, appears as follows:
    1 1
    2 100
    3 9
    The statements in the program that does not use a header line are easier to understand. As a further measure, you could have a further work area just to specify the key of the internal table, but to which no other values from the table are assigned.
    Internal table with header line
    you can use anywhere except obkect oriented concept.
    Internal table without header line :
    You should use in Object oriented concept..
    Always try to use without header line,performance point of view it is best..
    Example :
    Without header line.
    Structure
    types : begin of ty_itab ,
    matnr type mara-matnr,
    end of ty_itab.
    Internal table
    data i_itab type standard table of ty_itab .
    Work area
    data wa_itab like line of i_itab
    With header line
    data : begin of i_itab occurs 0,
    matnr like mara-matnr,
    end of i_itab
    itab with header lines are obsolete, anyway it will work but not recommended. instead use work area or more effiecient is field symbols. so donot use itab with header line.
    i will explain use of itab w/o header line.
    Data: itab1 type standard table of mara with header line occurs 0,
            itab2 type standard table of mara,
            wa_itab2 type mara.
    loop at itab1.
    "This will work fine.
    endloop.
    loop at itab2.
    "This will give erro that itabd does not hav workarea
    endloop.
    "so write
    loop at itab2 into wa_itab2.
    "This will work
    endloop.
    <b>The difference between
    whih header line and with out heater line of internal table.
    ex:-
    a) Data : itab like mara occurs 0 with header line.
    b) Data: itab like mara occurs 0.
    -While adding or retrieving records to / from internal table we have to keep the record temporarily.
    -The area where this record is kept is called as work area for the internal table.
    -The area must have the same structure as that of internal table. An internal table consists of a body and an optional header line.
    -Header line is a implicit work area for the internal table. It depends on how the internal table is declared that the itab will have the header line or not.
    a) Data : itab like mara occurs 0 with header line.
    table is with header line
    b) Data: itab like mara occurs 0.
    table is without header line</b>
