when I search for mail the results in iOS7 aren't in chronological order anymore. Both on my iphone 5 and my iPad 2.

hi,
am facing a unique issue in SP 2013. Whenever we search for a search criteria the results returned is not accurate always. Every time we navigate across pages, the search results change which is not
a desired behavior. However we also noticed that the refiner panel does not change as well and it retains the old count which leads to inconsistent results when user selects a criteria from the refiner.
any pointers / helpful links regarding this issue, if any anyone has surfaced, is highly appreciated!

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that search results are not accurate.
I recommend to run a full crawl and then to check whether the search results are correct.
If your incremental crawl is running, it may happen that, when you are viewing the data in the search result web part, the newly added content are not crawled yet.
So, after the content are updated, wait for some time.
Let your incremental crawl finish. Then view the results on the page.

Links from Search Results are not resolving or take a very long time.

The searches happen fairly quickly, but the links from the results are not resolving. I am unable to get the information I need. It appears there are performance problems with the site.

WCP Framework 11g and SES 11g : search results are not secured

Hello,
We are integrating WCP 11.1.1.6 and SES 11.1.2.2
we have quite a stunning issue here where the search results returned by a WCP Framework application are not secured, ie secured contents are returned in the search results for unauthenticated users and for users who have no permission on these contents.
Though, the search results are well secured in the standard SES search interface (http://seshost/search/query/).
The main concern is about results coming from WCC.

Hi Jiri,
we managed to integrate UCM and WCP with Document Service taskflows and it works fine, ie security is well propagated for the roles we want.
WCC/UCM and WCP authenticate users via WLS which is connected to an AD.
SES has its own identity management system which authenticates users directly to the AD.
We activated the SESCrawler component in WCC/UCM and the SES/UCM crawling process is OK.
We can search for UCM contents in SES without issue and anonymous/unauthenticated search in SES doesn't return results from non-public security groups, which is what we want.
WCP search is connected to SES (which is the default setting), eg from adf-config.xml:

So the problem is that anonymous/unauthenticated search in WCP does return results from non-public security groups, which is not what we want.
eg: access to the WCP app (don't logon)
run a search
in the search results, you can see contents which are not assigned in the public security group. Though, the WCC/UCM guest role doesn't have any permission on these SG.
I can't raise SR myself.

Search criteria is retained but search results are not retained

I have a search screen ( resultBased Search). On Click of go , it lists out all the records which are matching the criteria.
In this results table , I have single selection. User can select one record and view the details of those records. But if I cancel the detail screen it is coming back to the search screen with all the search criteria entered . But in results table only the selected record is available and no other records. I am retaining the AM during navigation.
I am using the same vo for results table and viewing the details.
For example, I have a project VO . On search , it will list out all the Project List and each row belongs to a Project VO.
On select , I am taking the selected Project VO and display insite details.
Can anyone help me on this.

That is why. To navigate to the Page, you are finding a unique record and viewing/updating the row. Now once you navigate back to the Search Page, that single row which resides in the VO is rendered.
To resolve this either you have two VOs (may be almost similar queries) for Search and the Page, or you can try requerying the VO once you navigate to the search Page. Decide based on your own requirements.

This is really annoying. Mail search on iOS 7 never worked, either on iPhone
4S or on iPad.
Search results are not sorted in any perceivable order. I get totally random results, with messages dating 4 years back jumping to yesterday and so on.
I have never seen Apple to respond to this issue with earnest feedback, and users are often dismissed.
I used to have to resort to my Macbook Pro to get decent results, but due to the many mail app problems on OSX, I do not rely on it anymore.
Can Apple please give feedback to this search issue on the IOS devices? It is really, REALLY crippling.

I had tried that several times with no luck. Late last night I was finally able to get through to the Verizon technical support who then called in Apple technical support. It took 1 1/2 hours for them to figure it out and guide me through a fix. So here's the deal .......... I use Yahoo mail and had left the "contacts" button in the on position. Apparently Yahoo likes to go into your contacts and gather information and can leave it in shambles. My advice is, go to settings, then mail, contacts, calendars. Select any and all of your email accounts and go in and turn off their access to your information. Leave it on for Icloud but none of the others.

i will have to read these links closer but what i meant to say is that the hard drive space that was being taken up seemed like it suddenly jumped way up because i had just gotten through a process in the last month where i am storing all my My Documents data on my Mac Pro. i am doing this in order to decide whether i should just keep it ALL on my Mac Pro and use ChronoSync to sync /some/ of it to my MBP.
so if i look in the Documents folder on my Mac Pro i have a ton of folders that i have created with a ton of data. if i look in the Documents folder on my MBP there are NO folders that have data in them that i created. there are other folders such as folders that various software created but what i mean to point out is that there was a LOT of available space on my HD until recently.
i am wondering if there is some way that running the Mail re-index (it then ran some kind of "Importing" routine) or by syncing my Photostream to the MBP caused a huge jump in data on this drive. if it is the photostream sync i can just take this off or see if it will sync more selectively. if it is something to do with mac mail jumping in size i am not sure why this would happen or what to do about it.
does that question make sense?
i mean, before i did these two operations my recollection is that i would have had 130 GB on the hard drive (really just guessing here) and now there is like 218 GB on the hard drive and i don't know where all this came from...

Facebook 10.4.0.12 - BB10 Z10 - Update - Page Posts Scrambling Issues - Not in Chronological Order - New Posts Not Showing...

Regarding the Facebook App...
Even since the last update (10.4.0.12) the posts on all FB Pages and Friend Timelines are out of chronological order (scrambled) and only show older posts (you cannot see any new posts).
This was not an issue with the preveious version of the Facebook app. Blackberry users are extremely upset about this and require some type of communication from Blackberry about a near future fix or an option to return to the previous version of the Facebook app.
For Blackberry users who manage Facebook Pages for Business on-the-go, this update has crippled them.
Why would Blackberry release an update with such a massive functionality set-back?
Did Blackberry not test the App prior to releasing the update?
So many Blackberry users are upset. Many are leaving blackberry for android or iOS. Just read the reviews on the Facebook app in Blackberry World. Blackberry might be able to save some of these Blackberry users by communicating to its customers and ensuring them that there will be a fix in the near future. To most BB users, a properly functioning Facebook app is crutial and is their most frequently used app on their device.

#1) BlackBerry never gives forward looking information. Even if they were working on a fix (and hopefully they are) they wouldn't tell us.
#2) BlackBerry gives no official method of downgrading. However, a quick Google search found this: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackberry-10-apps-f274/if-anyone-wants-go-back-facebook-10-3-0-2-here-...
It looks like it's just a bar file so I recommend using Sachesi to load it. Here are some instructions for using Sachesi. The instructions are for installing Snap (which, if you don't have it, I highly recommend if you're on OS 10.2.1.xxx) and you can use the same instructions for installing the Facebook bar file(s)

The other option is to use Snap to install the Android version of Facebook. I hear it works well.

In your settings for fiscal year variant K5, you do not need the following entries:
3     31     3
4     30     4
5     31     6
6     30     6
7     31     7
8     31     9
9     30     9
10     31     10
11     30     12
Please try removing these entries and see if that resolves the error.
You only need to account for the last day of the calendar year (12/31/xxxx). You do not need to account for the last day of every calendar month. As a result, you do not need entries for the last days of January - November, unless the last day of the month is also the last day of the period, as is the case for your periods 1 and 2. That is why the entries for the entries for 1/31 and 2/28 are OK, but the other calendar month end entries should be removed.

You may also have to create an allow exception to keep this cookie.
In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":
*do not clear the Cookies
*do not clear the Site Preferences
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" > Settings

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

Safari troubleshooting needed. All search results are grayed out preventing me from clicking anything on the page.

Go back to your home screen, then double click your home button to open your multi-task window hold your finger on the Safari icon until it start to wiggle and a red minus sign is in the upper left corner. Tap the red minus sign and completely close Safari, then reopen it.

After creating Shopping cart and purchase order successfully created.
Added my custom fields for PO structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSD_PO fields are visible in PO screen automatically with out adding my custom fields in PO layout /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_PO_I_BD
when i go to PO screen i can see my custom fields but all fields are not in correct order.How can my fields should be in order.
and i added two custom buttons in my PO layout for WD component /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_PO_I_BD i am not able to see my buttons?

I've had this problem. There may be a more elegant solution, but what I do is make a playlist of the album and put the movements in the correct order in the playlist. I've also put numbers (01, 02, etc.) in front of the name of the movements. Either one works.

the content on the pages, (photo gallery, My Recipes/Blog, History, Friends) need to be formatted to HTML, PHP or CSS. No search engines (google, Yahoo, Bing) can crawl//analyze webpages built with javascript.
See if Apple allows iweb to create the pages in HTML format and ask how to make those changes.
I spend more then 1 hour on the phone with them but we didn't find the solution...

The part of iWeb pages that give the search engines problem is the navbar. That's javascript based. One way to get around that is to create another blank page in the site that's not included in the navbar.
Add a text based navbar in that page with just the other pages in the site.
Also you can use that page for creating the sitemap for Google at Create your Google Sitemap Online - XML Sitemaps Generator.
Have you let Google know your site exists? This website describes how to get it recognized: Get your iWeb website found in search engines like Google Yahoo MSN and Bing.
