Mail - url link color changes in mail signature

Hello all,
I've just tested a new signature, created in mail.  In it, I use a couple of custom colors to match our company colors.  Looks great.
However, when I send it out to myself to test, my email info in the signature [email protected] and our webiste url www.ddddddd.com change to the standard blue URL link color upon receipt.
I'd like folks to see them in the company colors and not as that ugly blue.
How can I accomplish this?
Thanks!
Stuart

Hi,
Directly you can use Http://www.sap.com in the email body, then it will come as link in the Body of the email

  • URL link in send e-mail pl/sql procedure

    I have a send e-mail procedure. I am trying to enclose in the body of the message a URL link with parameters from a form, but it is only taking part of it.
    for example http://my.link&pid='||pid||'&uid'||uid
    it only takes http://my.link
    What is the way to do it successfuly?
    Thanks,

    Thanks for your replies. I still did not get it to work. For example if I stick to your solution with :
    urlname := 'my.link?pid='||pid||'&uid='||uid;
    where should I stick the try this?
    I am using a variable called message.
    'message: ' 'click on the following link' ||CRLF || urlname
    This is is not working. Any clues? Thanks a lot. Jeanne

  • Mail in iOS 7 changes default mail account after entering addresses?

    I just noticed that the Mail app in iOS 7 changes the sent from email address from my default to another account I have after entering in the send to address. When I first create the new email the correct default email address is showing (iCloud) but after I add any send to address it changes to another account (Hotmail) as the sent from account.
    I checked my settings and iCloud is still set as the default account, I can click and change it before sending the email but I think this may be a bug unless there is something I missed.
    Anyone else have this problem?

    Oh, and just to add, whilst under Settings > Mail it does indeed state 'default mail account to use when an application outside of mail attempts to send mail'.  However also when you are in the Mail app and on the main screen where you can see all your mailboxes, the Mail App also needs a 'default' account, and in my experience/opinion this is pulled from the Default account within Settings > Mail rather than which ever mailbox is top of the list within the Mail app (didnt work for me!)
    But regardless, I have sent an email from an app outside of Mail and the issue is encountered:-  I have my virgin.net as my default email (via Settings > Mail).  I go into the Photo app, and select a photo to email.  My virgin.net email is showing in the From box - so far so good.  I select an email address for the To box.  My From email address switches to my iCloud.com address.  So this is the bug.  It should not be doing this.  This is the same issue it seems encountered by the original member of this thread.  Anyone know how you alert Apple to bugs in their software?

  • Link color change (beyond page properties/links or inline html mark-up)

    Besides using the page properties to change all links on the page to a single color, is there a css style or some html code I can add sitewide (vs. inline mark-up for every single link) to override the blue link color and keep all links the color specified in the header and body styles?
    Thanks!

    Thanks bemdesign--it worked for the most part. But in my footer, the links are incorrectly changing their colors when displayed in IE. When displayed in the design view of DW, they are retaining their proper color without changing blue when I make them links.
    Just before the text of the bottom row of my table, I added in the html code:
      <div class="footer">
    After the text, I closed it with
       </div>
    In my CSS, I added this code:
    .footer a:link {
    color: #666666;/*links under the elements with a class of footer are gray*/
    .footer a:visited{
    color: #666666;/*visted links are gray*/
    .footer a:hover, .footer a:active{
    color: #666666;/*active or hovered lover links are gray*/
    While this caused the color of the link in my html in DW to be retained as gray, in IE, it displays as blue. Why is this?

  • TS4002 Incoming Mail Server cannot be changed; stay "mail.beispiel.de"

    Hello,
    I am trying to configure iCloud within Apple Mail of Mac OS Mountain Lion.
    Basic steps are pretty easy, but two problems arise:
    1. Apple Mail is **** slow (irresponsive according to the finder) after editing anything concerning iCloud
    2. iCloud IMAP shows the "lightning" sign for not being online.
    The Server for incoming E-Mails cannot be changed, it is greyed out.
    It just says mail.beispiel.de or (translated) mail.example.com
    What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks for your help!
    Karsten

    Same problem here! I have Mail with Mountain Lion since weeks. Yesterday my Trash in Mail disappeared . I deleted my Mail account and tried to reactivate it again. But the IMAP server is greyed, while I read mail.esempio.com (mail.example.com in italian). I can't no more download mails from Mail! More, I can't activate mail from iCloud Preferences Pane.
    I believe that all this mess is because of the me.com/icloud.com transition.

  • Why does the visited link color change not work on some pages. this has only occurred in the past few weeks. 2 different computers Win 7 home pm Firefox 29

    On some sites the visited link color does not change. I have checked all settings and they have not changed. I can make the problem change by unchecking the "allow pages to choose thier own colors" box , but the some pages do not display correctly. Things worked fine up to a few weeks ago. I feel it may be a glitch in firefox 29.
    Windows 7 home premium SP 1
    Firefox 29

    Can you try to start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if Firefox works properly with no error? You can start Firefox in Safe Mode below:
    *'''Windows/Mac''': Go to Help > Restart with add-ons disabled
    *'''Linux''': Run ''firefox -safe-mode'' in the Terminal/Konsole
    If Firefox opens up fine with no problems, it's probably one of your extensions that's causing the issue. You can re-enable your add-ons one by one until you find the one that causes the issue upon being re-enabled.
    You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
    You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
    *Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
    *Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
    *Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
    Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
    *[[Image:new fx menu]] > Options/Preferences> Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
    *[[Image:new fx menu]] > Options/Preferences > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

  • Specific E-mail with links causing freeze using Mail

    My wife is getting newsletter style e-mail from Better Homes and Gardens that contain links to pictures and other websites.  These pictures only appear  if internet access is connected so I believe that they are links that only are active once the mail is selected.  If the internet is off, the space for the photos is blank.
    I have isolated the problem to these specific e-mail messages that once selected, start some process of internet activity that causes the entire system to freeze and I get the beachball.  If I don't click on the message, everything is fine.  If I then turn off the internet access and open that message I can read it but there are no pictures or links. And the system continues to work fine.  If I leave the internet on and click on the message, it opens with the links and I can see pictures etc., BUT as I continue to read the message the computer will freeze up within 20 seconds.  If I try to click on any links within the message the computer freezes almost instantly.   Also, if I quickly get out of the message and try to view a different message from any other sender that also contains links, all the links and photos become unavailable.  And within a couple seconds the computer is locked up.
    From watching my internet access speed monitor and listening to the hard drive it appears that the message is initiating some internet access or hard drive activity that interupts other mail functions and locks up the machine.
    Anyone know how to troubleshoot this further?  Does it help to look at the message in it's raw coded form?  What would I look for?
    Thanks,
    Curtis

    You know, I expected an answer like; "Your parental control can't be used like that. Its just a program, so it will try to block adult sites, or block unsecure connections. Like AOL mail for example. If you want her to access the school mail, then you'll just have to allow unrestricted access to the web. You can still monitor her web browsing. As for gmail, some email sites are able to be accessed even with the parental controls turned on."
    I even expected some arrogant replies like Carolyn's. Telling me how to access gmail.
    Thanks for nothing!

  • Default link color-change?

    Is it possible to change the color of the text in the navigation bar and/or in the start slideshow button?
    If so, how? The default colors are hard to see against my background color.
    Thanks

    You actually have to select to "not show the navbar" then create your own.
    Also, click View>Show View layout, and be sure that no "box" (a bit hard to see) is covering your links.
    If one is, drag the text box with the links out of the box, click "Display Navigation Menu" in Inspector>Page, unclick it, and drag the text box back up.
    Good luck!

  • Link color changes

    Text on a specific web page changes color as if a visited link, when it shouldn't. Too bad I can't upload a screen shot.
    This doesn't happen in IE, Chrome, Safari or FF 3.6.17
    If I reset the colors, the page looks fine. As soon as I click away and come back, the colors are off again.

  • I deleted an e-mail account, as I changed e-mail, now all the archive folders associated with that account are gone!! Can I find them somewhere? Help Please!!!

    I am running Windows 7 and Thunderbird 26.6.0 I guess I should have made new archive folders under my new e-mail account and transferred everything into them before i deleted the old account, but I didn't know all the archive folders were going to disappear. I know nothing ever actually goes totally away, but I have no idea how to find it. If anyone can help, with relatively simple instructions, geared toward a semi-computer iliterate, I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Len

  • Buttons Color Changed

    This may sound like I don't understand button states or whatever, but every time I convert an image to a button and preview the menu the button isn't the color I created it. I open the menu in Photoshop and there are no layers that should be causing this. What is Encore CS3 doing to buttons and how do I edit or stop it? All I want is to have the buttons show up the color I create them not some hue shift that ruins my color scheme.

    Hi Ruud,
    Yes, i have no doubt watching the tutorial movie would help.
    If fact, last night before posting this topic to the forum I did a search and came up with the topic with the link to the movie,
    but after downloading the movie Windows Media Player says it is missing an audio codec it needs to play the movie and when clicking the Web Help button the page only tells me WMP is having a problem with the file (not all that helpful).
    I thought I'd import it into Premiere but it seems to be an unsupported format.
    So for the time being, I'm a bit stuck with the file.
    I have a month's membership with Lynda.com and have been watching the Encore CS3 movies but haven't gotten what I need yet.
    I am going to continue and most likely something there will click for me.
    I had the problem last week and one of the check mark selectors cleared it up, but nothing seems to work on this project.
    It seemed to be related to a feature that was kind of like a visited link color change.
    Any further help is appreciated,
    Don

  • Mail.app, Link on signature-icon does not open URL

    In a mail-signature I have a FaceBook-icon with a Hyperlink to a FaceBook-site.
    - This link works not in a received message, when the recipient is Mail.app on Yosemite.
    - With Mail.app on Mavericks it works well.
    Behaviour:
    - Double-Click opens the attached picture, but not the URL in the browser, as expected.
    - URL ist shown correctly on MouseOver
    ... sometimes, condition are not reproducible ....it works :-(
    To create the link I used the method as described at.  http://mac-fusion.com/clickable-social-media-icons-in-your-mail-app-signature/
    Can anybody confirm this behavior?
    Any workaround in creating the Hyperlink - or is it a bug?

    Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

  • Placing URL Links in Mail Signatures

    I have not upgraded to Snow Leopard yet. I am on the previous version 10.5.8. My current pet peeve in Mac Mail is that I can't add a hyperlink to my email signature. I write for a blog Triple Pundit which I list in my signature, and I want to add a link to my section of the blog, so that whoever is reading my email can click on the link and go to just my section. I have not been able to figure out how to do this in 10.5.8.
    Does anyone know if Snow Leopard supports adding URL links to any word or words that appear in the signature? If it doesn't, I will not upgrade at this time.

    HI,
    Open Mac Mail. From the Menu Bar click Mail/Preferences and select the Signature tab.
    Drag and drop a link in the box all the way to the right just under your signature.

  • URL link in the standard Sourcing mails

    Hi All,
    I am working on Sourcing 7.0 . In my production server scenario we have two URLs Internal and External.
    All the sourcing emails will contain the Internal URL (sourcing server) in the mail content for the documents. So user will be not able to access the mail outside.
    I want to give external URL in the URL link present in the email content for document.
    >How can I achieve this?
    >How can i map the internal-external URL so user can access the sourcing email and will be able to open the sourcing documents?
    >In the standard email template, is there need to make changes for URL?
    Please share your view.
    Deepak!!!

    Hi Deepka,
    First of all correct my understanding on your question, U want to have external (outside) URL in the internal sourcing mails sent??
    PLease find the below details in case of mail changes;
    1) first of all you need to create a custom mail template for this and follow step2
    2) if you want to give some out side URL in the standard conent, you need to maintain the URL itself.
    3) FInally associate it with the mail configuration.
    Hope this helps, correct my understanding if you are looking for some other enhancements,.
    Thanks

    My camera is a 1Ds mk II..
    and for that one it says
    All versions tested. All versions tested. Supported only through Lightroom 4.1.
    however, it also says
    Windows XP, Vista, 7; Mac OS X 10.5 or 10.6
    which is plain wrong, because Canon never supported any drivers for Windows Vista or Win 7, not to speak of XP 64bit. (You cannot connect the camera via firewire, without the device drivers!)
