Maintenance Cost Key Figures in MCI3 and MCI8 Reports

we are using ECC6 EHP4 version. Maintenance Cost Key Figures in MCI3 and MCI8 Reports are not reflected the cost as given in different value categories in work orders. I have configrured the PMIS "Assign Value Categories to Maintenance Cost Key Figures" and Valuation Cateogies are also rightly configured. is it some bug or am I missing some thing. Please help

I checked transaction code OMOS. all infor structure are on monthly update which is fair. however, I rebuilt the info structure through folllowing navigation path and it worked.

How to find if one key figure is used in any report

Dear Experts ,
I have one key figure info object .I wanted to know how to find this key figure is used in which report .
As I know "where used list " but this will not help me .
Any suggestions please share .

Hi Puru,
Try following approach,
goto RSZELTTXT table and put your key figure name in the long text and click on execute. Get the list of all the ETULID's and go to table RSZCOMPDIR from this table for all the ETLUID's get all the list of COMPUID's and from COMPUID's you will be able to find all the reports from RSRREPDIR in which that key figure is getting used.

Data not matching for a key figure in ODS and In CUBE.

There is one key figure ( Net Units) where in the data is not matching in ODS and in CUBE for only one particular fiscal week (200714)but for the rest of the weeks its matching.
The data is first loaded in to ODS and from there in to CUBE and the source is from flat file.
The cubes are not compressed .so I checked the DB aggregation in the field selection for output screen but still its not matching .( based on the infocube addition property some times if a file is loaded multiple times it adds up in the infocube so when the cubes are not compressed we manually select this option) .
What might be the possible cause for this ???

HI,
By any chance if you have loaded same the delta twice into the cube, then there might be the chance of the corrupt data. SO identify the lowest level of document where u can identify the difference.I mean if possible 0calday wise or document leve wise or sales org wise etc. and try to find out where is the difference. Then check in the change log of the oDS, whether the request has gone into cube twice. last option is selectively delete the data from the cube for the week and load a full repair from the ODS for that week.

Key Figure Reference table and fields

I am getting the following error:
/BIC/CSSMMIMI1-/BIC/KFMI_LCHF (specify reference table AND reference field)
I am aware that it is asking me to put a reference table and field for the field in the structure.
However, what I am not sure about is should I do this action from SE11 or is there a program or other method which would be more suitable (this is not business content)?

Thanks for that, the currency type and quantity type are hard coded in the key figure for most of the key figures apart from one, i.e for the quanity I hard code PCS
From RSD2 I just check the repair option is that correct

Key figures in row and column.

Dear all,
I have a requirement in my BEx query to have to key figures in both the row and column. This is the scenario, I have a formula defined in the row which does a total up and the user would like to see this key figure formula in the column while still maintaining all other key figures in the row. How can this be done?
It seems that once I have a key figure in either the column or row I can only use either one- not both at the same time.

You can use KF in either in Row or Column.It's not possible to use in both in rows and columns.

Key figures in rows and columns at same time

Dear experts,
I'm making a report in HR in Bex query Designer 7.0.
I have most of my key figures in the row, but for my structure in my row, i need a key figure in the column. As you already might know, you cannot do this just by drag and drop. But i was wondering if there's a way to do this anyway? and if so, how?

I have in the row
a structure:
exits - end of contract
exits - voluntary
exits - unvoluntary
key figures
And in the column i need the key figure: number of actions
-> this tells me how many of the sort exit their are in the specified period.
And the other keyfigures need to be in the row.
So i don't know how to solve this

Can not Sorting by Key Figure with Analyzer and Excel 2007

Hello experts,
We have recently changed to Office 2007, and the funcionality of Sorting by a Key Figure with BEx Analyzer is desactivated.
We have applied the patch 10 for BEx BI 7.10.
Has anybody had the same problem?

Have you got two structures in your query?
Please take a look at the following notes:
1378796 - Disabled Sorting when there is one struct. in the drilldown
1332267 - BExAnalyzer: changes in cell properties dialog / sorting
these should explain why the sort feature is no longer available in certain scenarios.

Key Figure values in the Bex Report are different from the cube

Hi all,
When I tried to pull data of the cube, the values of the Key Figure 0Lotsize_cm was showing 100 EA. But when I try to run the query of the cube, then the key figure is LotSize is showing up as 500 EA. I don't understand why this is happening.
When I checked for Aggregation in the Key Figure. It shows up as "Sum" under aggregation and "Last Value" under Exception aggregation.
Could some one help me find a solution to this issue.

Thank you for your responses.
Arun, I do not have any aggregates on the cube. I changed the aggregate properties of the Key Figure from SUM to Minimum. this has solved my problem temporarily.
the reason I am saying temporarily because this is a SAP delivered InfoObject. This is for the datasource 0CO_PC_PCP_01. When I read through the documents, it said, SUMMation for Aggregation and Last value for "Exception Aggregation" will display the value of KF as the last value and does not add them up.
Since this wasn't the happening in my query, I changed the Aggregation from SUM to Minimum.

Key figure schema in CO-PA reporting

Hallo SAP Gurus,
Is there any method to copy the key figure schema created in one operating concern to other operating concern in the same client?
In our company, we have 18 operating concerns for 18 company codes.
I have created one key figure schema for one of the operating concern ( Since as per my knowledge, key figure schema can be created only at the operating concern level. )
Now, since the schema is common to all the operating concerns, I want to copy the same to the other 17 operating concerns.
Expecting your help since creating key figure schema 18 times and updating any changes is very much time consuming.

I have a same requirement, I want to do KECP because this is asking us to give the transport request and I know when we create key figure scheme we save it under a transport request.
Did KECP help you in doing that? If not, please let me know how did you copy key figure scheme from one operating concern to other.

If you can create a new workbook you can. Simpy right-click on "Key figures" in the BEx Analyzer, remove the specific C-KF from the displayed list of keyfigures and the save the Workbook. You should check if you have the authorization rights to save this new Workbook into existing roles, or just your Favourites.
Altering the Query is a bit more work though.

Web templete showing "EA" in the Key figure but not in Bex Report

When I exucute my query in BEx , the report works fine , but while exucuting in Web , "EA" is getting added after every Key figure Value..

I think you did't understood the problem correctly .
My Bex report don't have any Quantity Key figure So in bex report no Unit( If I think EA is Unit ) is coming . Same should come while executing in Web . But the Problem is in Web some EA symbol is coming .
N.B : Our system just undergone SP upgrade .

Change comma and period in key figure presentation in BEx WAD reports

We run our BEx WAD reports in the SAP portal. By default the thousands separator is period and the decimal separator is comma. How can I change this so the period becomes the decimal separator and the comma becomes the thousands separator?

Hi Erik,
you can change this by setting at user parameters.
At system, at any screen (RSA1) -> menu SYSTEM- > USER PROFILE -> OWN DATA -> Defaults Tab, here you can change.
and Save.
these will reflect in WAD report output.

Question regarding Calculated Key Figures in BEx and their impact on SQL

I am new to BO SAP integration. I have a question regarding using CKF in BEx.
I created universe off of a BEx query with no CKF. I then created a Webi report with come dimensions and measures. I captured the SQL generated using trace (ST05).
In the same BEx, I then create a CKF. Then refreshed the universe and created a new Webi report using the same dimensions and the CKF. The SQL generated had many more select statements.
My question is what is the effect of CKF on the generated SQL and is there a performance issues using CKF in BEx as opposed to creating variables in Webi report?

Hi,
if your CKF will have always same unit and you have one KF in you inforpovider with this unit, you can try to do this trick
create a new hidden CKF as new CKF = KF / KF (with this equale new CKF = 1 unit)
change your old CKF as old CKF = old CKF * new CKF
let me know if it works.
