Major Issues with Subsciption

I love Spotify, and have been a devoted user for about a year now. I was using the Premium feature for a while, but hit a bit of a rough patch in terms of funds and, sadly, had to downgrade to the free version of Spotify. Now that I am working and enrolled in school, I would like to begin using the Premium feature again--for the discounted student price, of course. When I attempted to do this, however, Spotify (via SherID) was "unable to confirm my student status." I attempted to put in my details three times with the same result. The information that I entered each time included my payment info as, for some reason, Spotify requires that BEFORE entering student information. I was not "approved" to use the Premium feature for the discounted price, and am not a Premium member, yet I was charged the price of the discounted Premium feature THREE TIMES. I, of course, contacted Spotify, expecting a refund--but am not lilely to receive a reply because the email they have on record is no longer a working email. I am using Spotify through my Facebook account, and the only way to change your contact email for Spotify is by changing the email on your Facebook account--which I did. Days ago. I've logged back in to both Spotify AND Facebook multiple times, but Spotify STILL has not changed my contact email address. So, I am currently paying the discounted price for a feature I am not receiving and, according to Spotify, not elligible to use. I am extremely displeased with Spotify at the moment. Does anyone have any tips to solve any of these issues?

    The tap to click does not work with mountain lion as it did before the mountain lion install. I purchased a brand new imac in August of 2011 and got a wireless keyboard and selected the wireless trackpad instead of a mouse.  The trackpad worked wonderful pre upgrade with tap to click. Now after the install of the newest beast, I have to actually press the trackpad rather than a slight tap. I have carpel tunnel and this is causing great stress upon my hand. How do I get apple to fix this major issue with mountain lion?

    I have an imac purchased in Aug. 2011 which came with Lion 10.6 (two uprades before mountain lion)
    Recently, I just purchased a macbook pro retina with Mountain Lion
    On my imac, my settings allowed me to "tap to click" everything EXCEPT the initial log in at the star up of my imac, again running Lion 10.6
    On my macbook pro retina which has Mountain Lion, I set up the "tap to click" option, but notice that a "hard" click was neccessary when trying to click things. I thought this was a macbook thing (my first one) so I went and upgraded my imac to Mountain LIon, BIG MISTAKE! Now both my imac AND my macbook only have limited "tap to click" options. Before mountain lion I could "tap" to highlight and select text, tap and drag, and many other thiings that Mountain Lion has disabled.
    I am truly surprised that no one has noticed this MAJOR issue.
    Is there a way to uninstall this update, similar to how on a PC you can go back to a restore point.
    On another note even the way PREVIEW has changed is less user friendly, there used to be icons on the bottom right corner of the screen, now I have to double tap and select the option I would like to switch between contacts and thumbnails. This is really annoying and is causing me time when reviewing files.
    Just in case anyone was wondering, I did go to system preferences -> trackpad -> select tap to click
    In fact almost all of the trackpad functions have been selected.

    I have created a navigation system on the master pages and set the presentation to links only mode. I also have other links scattered throughout the program, like a linkable table of contents, etc. Some of them work, some of them don't. Not sure why. Anyone out there having similar issues? Or have any idea on how I can solve this issue? Any help would be appreciated!

    Links should not create any problems in Keynote.  If they are set up correctly on text, the text will be underlined. Objects that have links will have a curved arrow bottom right, if you click the arrow a popup will display the link information.
    Try this repair for Keynote,  ensure you complete all the tasks and in the order shown:

    delete all the iWork applications if you have them, not just Keynote, using Appcleaner from Mac Update, its a freeware application

    empty the trash:  Finder > Empty Trash

    Shut down your Mac, wait 30 seconds, then power on the Mac, immediately after the start chime, hold down the Shift key
    When you see the grey Apple symbol and progress indicator (a spinning gear), release the Shift key.
    If you are prompted to log in, type your password, then hold down the Shift key again as you click Log in.

    Let the Mac fully boot up, it will take longer as the OS is repairing the drive

    when fully booted, go to Applications > Utilities > Disc Utility; click on the boot drive then First Aid tab and click  repair disc permissions

    when complete, restart the Mac normally, Apple menu > Restart

    install Keynote from the Mac App Store

    Having major issues with InDesign CS6. Not only is it crashing, but it is corrupting the existing file.  Then when I relaunch, it is not allowing me to open the file again.
    In another instance, yesterday I opened an file created 3 months ago and it allowed me to make changes, however I could not save them to the existing file, or not even to a new name.
    I had to copy each layer on each page to create a new document.  NOT GOOD!!!

    Yes, I would certainly get the latest update. That we often solve issues like these, for this is not normal. Some further tips would be quite InDesign, then to trash your InDesign preferences and then re-start InDesign (it will rebuild them again). Some further areas to look into would be:
    * Corrupt Font(s) (or corrupt font caches - see below)
    * Corrupt Image(s)
    * Power Failures (power surges)
    * Placing images via drag-and-drop from an Internet page
    * Working on an InDesign file over a network or on a remote server

  • Major Issues with views in A3

    I am having some major issues with views in A3.
    If you look at my screenshot I am in the Browser;GRID view, however many of my images are out of view to the right (should be 26). There is no way to see them or select them. Also note that there is no SIZE control on the bottom right!
    If i view it in LIST mode, all my images show up. If I go to FULL SCREEN everything works like it is suppose to. It just happens in

    If I go into split view, I do not get any scroll bars so there is no way of viewing all my images.

  • Major Issues with Premiere Pro CC

    I am currently having some major issues with Premiere Pro CC running on my macbook pro(specs below).
    I am trying to export a 4 minute video using the vimeo 1080p export settings as I usually do, and it takes about 10 hours to export the video. On cs6, a similar project would take 5-10 minutes.
    Also, the video that was exported contained a lot of clips that came out choppy and low quality.
    I am currently on the phone with tech support, and they cannot seem to figure out what is wrong.
    I have seen a few post about CC having issues with amd cards, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated since this job is past due due to these issues.

    You neglected to specify exactly which release of PPro CC you are running. There have been 5 of them.
    If you're on CC7.2 or 7.2.1, then you may be hitting the same problem discussed in one of these threads:

    The first thing to try is switching Renderer to Software Only.

  • Major Issues with iPod Touch - Please help!

    Hi, I am having major issues with my iPod, and nothing seems to be going right. It all started a few days after I got it for Christmas. I would wake up, and my iPod would be completely discharged even though it had a full battery and was turned off. I woke up one night and found that it came on all by myself. I sent it into iPod, and they sent it back saying nothing was wrong. Since I got it back today and within six hours, I have had four software crashes to the point where I have had to uninstall iTunes and restore factory settings four times. I am now on my fifth crash, but this time, the screen won't even come on. It keeps saying that it is in recovery mode. I simply went to turn it on! Does anyone have any suggestions? Personally, I think there is a short, and that I need a new a replacement. However, it doesn't seem like Apple is very supportive of the idea. I go through all of their steps over and over and over, and the same thing happens! What is going on? Please help.

    sounds like, for the charging problem anyways, that you are just putting ipod into "Stand by" mode... press and hold the power key for about 10 seconds and an option to power off will actually come on.. if u just press it and let go, it just goes to stand by.. i have noticed stand by drains my battery
    also, it doesn't sound like a short to me... the charging i am pretty sure is bc you are only putting it into standby however, the rest sounds like software.. did u try and restore using itunes or did you just reset the factory defaults?? Plug it into itunes and click restore under the ipod menu...

  • 10.6.2 - Major issue with 8800gt

    Hi, I've got a Mac Pro Early 2008 with 8800gt.
    I just updated to 10.6.2 and I have been experiencing major issues with nvidia 8800gt: my mac don't boot. When I push the power button, nothing appears on my monitor and I can hear the 8800gt fan @ maximum speed. It seems there's no disk activity, too.
    I've tried to remove the video card and start the mac without it: now I can hear the Hard disk run, but obviously I can see nothing on my screen.
    any suggestion?

    I can't count how many, but a good 5-10% of the problems with updates are due to a lack of pre-update maintenance.
    And you can't rule out what or why if you don't have 10.5.8 and/or 10.6.1 on another hard drive to see what is wrong. You can't navigate from a DVD.
    And you can't boot from a DVD if the hard drive directory/catalogue is severely corrupt. Which your situation suggests is the case.
    Unplug your hard drive.
    Boot from the DVD
    Install Mac OS to another drive.
    Never go without working backups and emergency boot drives.
    It is normal for 8800s fan to kick in for half a minute during startup to cool it down and expel any heat that may have built up. So it suggests the 8800 is working properly.
    Backups PREVENT problems. As does Disk Warrior (best used with SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner).
    Of course if you have a 2nd 'spare' video card all the easier to troubleshoot and rule out what the cause is.

  • Anyone else having major issues with 1.1.4?

    So I updated to Firmware 1.1.4 a day or two after it came out and I've been having major issues. This is on a phone purchased on launch day that has not been jailbrokened or hacked in anyway.
    Battery life...when the phone actually works, is down drastically. I went from 2.5 days with Bluetooth and Wi-fi on to about 12 hours at one time.
    Wi-fi...when it works, just cuts in and out even when the signal should be all full strength.
    Clock...even though it is set to sync with network time, can be accurate one minute and lags behind as much as 15 minutes.
    I've done numerous restores, both from a backup file and setting the phone up as a new phone. Nothing seems to fix the problem so far. Has anyone else run into these issues and/or know of how to fix it.
    I was contemplating downgrading the firmware to 1.1.3, but I don't believe there is an official way to do it.
    Any input would be appreciated.

    I have exactly the same issues, After the Update the sound quality of my calls dropped drastically! I tought first I got a cold or something like that...but it was not I cannot hear as clearly as I used to before and increasing the volume does not solve anything!
    I also noticed that trsitionning from an application to another and especially using the home button to got to home page is getting slower. I need more time to lose safari and go to emails than before.
    My Memory usage is exactly the same as I havent added anything to my library or so. Aroud 3.5 GB free.
    Anyone with same symptoms?

    okay so my iphone has been giving me major issues since i got it exactly one year ago.
    my iphone:
    -black 4s 16GB Verizon iOS 6.0
    Issues
    -my caller id on other phones comes up as "blocked" or "restricted" unless i dial *82 then the number i want to call. verizon tells me i do not have "caller id blocking" turned on
    -when i receive a text message or imessage the incoming number shows up as 82 then the number (ex. 821234567890) instead of the contact number. when i slide to reply it insists on creating a new message, not adding to the conversation already in the messages app.
    when i first received this phone, purchased from verizon on the internet, i was unable to activate the device. when i took the phone to the apple store, they told me it was set to vodafone (british?) but somehow verizon support was able to activate the iphone. because of these problems ive had to save contacts in my phone with their regular number for texting (ex. 123-456-7890) and their number with *82 (ex. *82 123-456-7890) for calls, so my caller id shows. Siri will not dial numbers that start with * or #, making the feature basically useless.
    does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or do i have to buy a new phone (which i don't really want to do).
