Making a folder with a Japanese name from Reader for Android

I couldn't make a new folder with a Japanese name from Reader for Android but I can make one from the Web UI. What's wrong?

I don't know if any language-specific version available on Google Play Store. I've just installed the Reader from the official Google Play Store.
For your information, I can move files into any Japanese-named folder even on Android. Making a new one is the only problem I saw.

I've found a possible bug in SharePoint 2010 workflows. I only have access to SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint Designer 2010 over my companies intranet, afaik I don't have access to to logs or anything server side so sorry for the any missing information.
I had some problems with a workflow in one list that needed to create some folders and subfolders in a second list. The production version did a lot more so I setup a test area with 1 list and a workflow that only does the folder creation part and have managed
to consistently replicate this problem.
The test list has two columns, [title] and [sub folder title]
The workflow starts by getting the values for [title] and [sub folder title] into variables.
It then creates a folder in the same list with the same name as [title], and then creates a sub folder under this with the name from [sub folder title]
So the resulting structure would be:
Test List:-
List item with fields [title] and [sub folder title]
[folder: title]:-
[folder: sub folder title]
If both folder names are different (e.g Folder1 and Folder2) then it works perfectly fine, if both folder names are the same (regardless of character case, e.g. samefolderName and sameFolderName) then the workflow fails.
As part of the test i made the first action of the workflow to log the message "Workflow Started" to the history list. When the workflow fail there's nothing logged in the history list other than the error: "The workflow could not update the
item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information."
Creating a sub folder with the same name as it's parent works fine manually but for some reason a workflow can't seem to do it in one action.
As there's no history list entries before the error it looks like the workflow is just failing to start but if i do something like add an if statement to check if [title] and [sub folder title] are the same, and only create the subfolder when they are not
then it runs fine doing what it's set to.
The function of the workflow in our office was for convenience so were just working without it. Just wanted to post to see if anyone else has come across this/could try to replicate or explain this and see if it's a SharePoint bug or something specific
to our setup.

not sure about the specifics of your workflow, but if you're querying the list for the folders... keep in mind that a list lookup will only ever bring back ONE item... even if there are several items that meet the filter criteria... example: if i search
a list for an item assigned to "john doe", there may be 15 tasks that meet the criteria, and it'll only grab one... this is why SP Designer WARNS you when your list lookup may exhibit this behavior.

When saving files under options the file name is duplicated how to remove extra folder with the same name

Under Firefox Options I clicked Saving Files under Downloads but the file name appears twice and an extra folder with the same name is created within the folder i.e.:
G:\Akbar's Songs\HAMARA FORUMS DOWNLOADS\HAMARA FORUMS DOWNLOADS
As you can see the folder is repeated, how can I correct this?
Also the music files I download from a site downloads as WinRar file and I need to open it. Is there an option where the files open automatically in the folder I have selected?

The "beta" version is for testing and may be more prone to problems, so I suggest trying the regular version (9.20) even though it hasn't been updated since 2010.

Files from Google Drive are appearing in "Recents" where I cannot organize them hierarchically.
I cannot find a user manual for Adobe Reader for Android with this level of detail.

Files opened via Google Drive are not listed in ‘Documents' section of Adobe Reader, because they are read only files. If you really want to save these files to ’Documents' then please follow below steps -
Open the file from Google drive in Adobe Reader.
Tap on the Comment icon placed at top toolbar(Second icon from the beginning)
You would encounter a 'Read-Only document’ dialog, tap on Save button.
Once you performed above steps , your file will be saved in /Download/Adobe Reader/ folder.

After creating a form from an existing document, viewing it in Adobe Reader for Android only shows the form fields, and not the document behind it.

Using an existing PDF file to create an editable form that I can update on my tablet as I go, but when I open the file on my tablet (using Adobe Reader for Android), it only shows the blue editable fields that I've created, but not the actual form that's supposed to be behind it. However, it views properly on my PC. Am I not saving it out correctly?

Can't open from skydrive in Reader for Android

I have adocument I needtowork in whileIam travelling. It had tobedownloaded fromanon-linesource and I THINK I had to use Microsoft Explorer to open it nitially. I startedtoworkon it (its a document one had to enter data into in stages). I saved it an uploaded it to my Skydrive. Now trying to open it on an android tablet (HP Slate 10 HD) and I am getting the following message:
"Please wait.............if this message is not eventually replaced by the propercontents of the document your pdfviewer may not be able todisplay this type of document." This is followed by advice to go downlaod the latest version of Adobe reader -Idownloaded the android version only yesterday -I have tried viewing the cloud document ANDdownloading and trying to open it.
Any suggestions please - I really need to work on this whileaway.By the way other windows documents open fine and allow meto edit without diffficulty. Although thispdf is specific to me it isn't password protected in any way.

Depressingly it opens in Explorer with no problem at all. Not much help having made the decision to go down the android/Chrome route

How do I call methods with the same name from different classes

I have a user class which needs to make calls to methods with the same name but to ojects of a different type.
My User class will create an object of type MyDAO or of type RemoteDAO.
The RemoteDAO class is simply a wrapper class around a MyDAO object type to allow a MyDAO object to be accessed remotely. Note the interface MyInterface which MyDAO must implement cannot throw RemoteExceptions.
Problem is I have ended up with 2 identical User classes which only differ in the type of object they make calls to, method names and functionality are identical.
Is there any way I can get around this problem?

How to exctract/backup a client certificate from Firefox for Android similar to question #1000240 but for the latest Firefox Beta for Android?

As in #1000240 and in #1032181, I've installed a StartSSL login certificate in my Firefox for Android and having a problem with extracting/backuping it to use with another device/browser.
I'm using the latest Firefox Beta for Android (35.0) at present; the Android version is 4.1.2, my phone model is Sony LT26i (Xperia S), so neither of the aforementioned questions asked at the Mozilla Support website do not contain any solution to the given problem.
Any chance to recover the certificate?
P. S. I haven't rooted my device; if getting a root is the only possible way to recover the certificate, I may consider doing so.

You can try https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/copy-profile/ If that does not retrieve the file then see below.
If you know the name and path of the file you can get it using run-as function of adb. See http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18471780/android-adb-retrieve-database-using-run-as
If you end up down here you'll need root to be able to navigate the file system. I don't know the file name, though it is likely in your profile folder which can be determined by visiting about:cache in the Firefox address bar. It will be similar to /data/data/org.mozilla.firefox_beta/files/mozilla/$RANDOM.default/

Sending mail from Reader for iOS

I fill out a PDF form in Adobe Reader for iOS and try to email it from within the app. Only two of my email accounts appear as options to mail "from" and neither are the secure email account I need. Why do only a few of my email accounts appear?
Or, as a workaround, how can I save the document now to be sent later from within the mail app?

Setting up your email accounts is something you should ask about in the Apple support forums. www.apple.com.
But until you do that, you can save the PDF form from iTunes on your computer. Make sure you sync your iPad to your computer using iTunes so that iTunes has the updated version of the form.
Then open iTunes on your computer, select the iPad in Devices on the left. Click on the Apps tab at the top. Scroll down to the File Sharing section. Click on Adobe Reader. You'll see a list of all your PDFs. Select the one you want and click Save To... You'll be given the opportunity to save the PDF form to your computer.

Transfer from reader for PC to reader

I downloaded a book on Reader for PC but I cant transfer it from there to my Reader. I do not have the option "copy" on edit button, as it is supposed to appear.

What is the model of your reader? Have you tried re installing the software and updating the firmware of your reader?
