Making a webshop in muse

Is it possible to build a webshop in muse, or to embed an extern webshop? Has anyone done this before?

How to make a webshop in Muse?

Hi all,
A possible new client wants a website with a shop. As I don't have any experience with shopping carts I'm orientating. I wonder for example what's better: integrate an existing html shop in the site or buy a Muse template and stitch them together in the site map. Any advise on this is welcome!

Making a Blog in Muse

I want to make a blog website using Creative Cloud on a Mac. I'd prefer to use Muse, but if it would be easier to use a different app, that would be fine as well. Any recommendations on how to post articles that can show up in RSS feed? Thanks!

How do you add BC ecommerce features to Muse?

For more a year I see this same question, not one spokesperson from Adobe has given a straightforward answer. Why are you suggesting we go to 3rd party providers like Wazala, Ecwid, Americart to get add on shopping carts to "insert as HTML" on my Muse built website and are paying 38$ a month to host on BC? Both BC and Muse are Adobe products, I don't know the code but I have a reasonable expectations that your products should work together, if I can't add the same shopping cart features from BC to Muse, really all of BC features to Muse why do I need BC in the first place? When is Adobe going to add all the BC widgets to the Muse library? When is BC going to provide the HTML codes for all the BC features that we can copy and paste in the "insert HTML" option on Muse? Why do I have to go to Wazala? Adobe knew when I used Muse I didn't know the code so don't give me some crazy code based solution, I won't understand anyway. That's why I pay for CC and BC for you to provide it. I would appreciate a response. This is stopping me from making money. My muse site is finished, how do I add the shopping cart from BC? Thank you

You can add Google Calender using iframe which Google provides if you go to calender settings.
Once you insert this code in Muse page through Object > Insert HTML , the calender will be displayed on page.

How can I create a group of 5x3 buttons with a drop down meny that will slide down the 5 boxes beneath in Muse?

Have you considered using CSS styled text/list menus instead of image rollovers. It isn't hard really and it's actually a much better choice for web accessibility and for search engines to find and follow your links. Here are some links to several CSS menu systems you can try:

Adobe Muse: Is it possible to create a Social Network type website using Muse?

Hey everyone,
So ive recently came up with what i believe to be a pretty nifty idea for a social network type website, but i was just wondering is it possible to create such a website using muse? Ive created a few websites with it but never integrated features such as profile pages for users, searching options and other common things found on a few of the more well known sites such as Facebook, Twitter and so on. I dont really want to say what my idea is for obvious reasons, but if anyone knows if you can create a social network style website using Adobe Muse that can incorporate these such features, Id love to know. and if so can you point me in the direction of how to go about it, or to some instructional videos or sites that will help me out. thank you so much everyone,

I am afraid that at this stage this is not possible via Muse as that requires server side coding. You can start off creating a skeleton/template for your social networking site via Muse and then use that further with your own custom code. however, I will not recommend that you continue making your site with Muse as you will face issues in altering the muse generated code.

Adobe muse 32 and 64bit

The latest version of Muse runs only in 64bit computers. I am using only 32bit what I am supposed to do?? This is so frustrating. After spending thousands of dollars on buying your software you people stopped making 32bit versions of Muse. And now this is causing me problems to my business because some features are only available in the new version and I need them. And before anyone tell me to buy a 64bit computer the answer is don't want to. I've a total of $56000 worth of software installed on my computer (I am an architect too) and most of them are 32bit designed. So I can use only computer. What is the latest version of muse running in 32bit?

The last version for Muse that was supported on 32-bit machines was Muse 7.4 which was an AIR based application. You may be able to download and install the same on your machine and ignore prompts to update the application, however none of the features added to Muse after that version will not be available for that version.

There is no widget and there is no indication that this is on the Horizon. I doubt that it will.
Does not mean you can not because there are people who have accomplished this but you need to understand there is several componants to form eCommerce.
- You got shopping cart to view cart which can go into any page, layout or template.
- You have to create your catalogs and products and the layouts for each of those
- You got the payment page and shopping cart
- You have to setup your payment gateway.
With the product layouts you need to insert the features if you want related products, attributes, poplets and configure those as you need based on the site requirements.
Any extras or abilities would be more custom work and use of Javascript.

How can I change the order of thumbnails so it affects the order in the lightbox when using the composition widget - lightbox display?

Hi, I'm making my portfolio in Muse, and I'm using the composition widget - lightbox display. I imported all the images and then I wanted to reorganize the thumbnails - and when I do that, the order in the lightbox doesn't change and so it's not the same as the order of the thumbnails (after rearranging them). Please let me know if there is a way to fix this quickly, or do I have to do it all one more time

The order the items display in a composition widget is the front to back order of the items. You can rearrange the stacking order of the thumbnails/triggers using the Layers panel and/or the Object > Bring To Front, Send To Back, etc. menu items to adjust the order they're displayed during auto play or when clicking the next/previous buttons.

Problems with several statements in one servlet

I use the jdbc:odbc bridge driver, and an Access database. I'm making a webshop, and everything is working except for one thing: I can't insert several OrderItems at the same time.
I have a basket structure, where I have several OrderItem objects. In these objects, I have product_id, price, quantity etc in each object.
My database have to related tables, Order and OrderItem. I first insert a new order into the Order table. That works. Then I try to read the Order table to find the highest Order ID, which will then be used when I insert data into the OrderItem table.
The problem is that if I add any more statements to the same servlet, I get a Invalid Cursor type error.
This is the code that works:

Simply try after your INSERT a dummy query like
"SELECT 1 FROM <yourtable>"

Hi all, i've search everywhere for an answer to this, i'll try again here.
So, If i make a site with Muse, and use the menu widget,
It generates the cool menu automatically everything is fine.
BUT, what happens if my client creates a new page from his BC backend using a template i made for that purpose while making the site in Muse (a page with the "{tag_pagecontent}" Tag)
can it show in the menu?.
i desperatly need help with this one.

and for some obscure reason, i'm having a F*$*ing hard time to style
this will need to be possible in Muse future, i know muse grid came with a BC blog Module, hopefully they will come up with a BC dynamic menu module.

Got a html slideshow and making it into a Muse widget but is there a parameter to use to be able to choose and upload files? e.g. the picture to add to the slide show? Thanks

Can you try using the Send feature to do the file uploading and let us know if that works? You can use the Create Anonymous Link option, then click Create Link. This will upload your file to your Acrobat.com organizer. After uploading, you can turn off the sharing on the file if you want.

Not sure what you are asking as the topic doesn't seem to match the comment
As for changing the email on a contact form just select the form, click on the small blue icon to open the properties and simply replace the email address there.
