Making one file out of fragments ... how do I do that?

Hello,
For the purpose of continuity -- aka lining things up easily -- in a multi-track project, I would like to take fragments within a Garageband file and consolidate them into one piece. Get me?
In other words, instead of 6 little snippets spread out over a vocal track, I'd like to have 1 continuous track that goes from 0:00 to say 3:00. I just know it's an easy trick that has thus far eluded me.
I hope this makes sense and thanks in advance for any help.

be sure to have moved at least one region (just a TINY bit will do), or insert a bit of recorded silence, select all the regions and use the Join menuItem

You do not. Content is permanently tied to the Apple ID that it was acquired with.
Sign out of the computer with the new Apple ID. STOP using the new Apple ID.
Sign in with the original Apple ID that the content was acquired with.

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download. If it didn't download correctly then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that audiobook and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

Add both libraries to iPhoto Library Manager. Then select the events or albums that you want to copy from library A and drag them to library B in iPLM.

Connect phone to computer.
Select Restore.
Tell iTunes which of the available backup files to use, let iTunes restore it.

Set you 2nd iPad from your 1st iPad. If you have your music in your iTunes library, it's easier as you can set it up as a new device and then go to music>sync all music.
Once you set up you 2nd iPad from your 1st one, if you want do not want the other setting to be synced, turn it off. For example, in apps, uncheck everything and you can get rid of them.

Then I suspect you do not have iTunes Match enabled. Using that "delete all" command in the Settings does not remove the music from the cloud, nor does it disable iTunes Match. With iTunes Match enabled you will still see all the music.
So go to Settings > iTunes and App Store and make sure iTunes Match is set to ON (green).

Nope.
Apple recomends after each purchase to BACKUP your purchases. If purchased on a mobile device (iPhone, iTouch, iPod, etc) you should transfer your purchases to a computer running iTunes as soon as possible to back them up.
If you don't have your items in your library, I'm afraid there is little recourse.

If the picture was in your photo stream you can sign into the iCloud account in Settings>iCloud and turn on photo stream to see/copy it. If it was only in the iCloud backup you can't restore just the picture; you have to restore the entire backup. Restoring a backup is all or nothing.

How to make one file out of many documents?

Hi, I have a collection of documents created in Pages. I would like to have these available as a single file. I currently have a workaround where I change each document to a PDF, then use Acrobat to create a single PDF from each individual PDF. However this is cumbersome and I would like to maintain the Pages file type.
I am aware that I cannot insert one Pages document into another - but is there any way to automate or work around this other than copying and pasting each document into a new file?

Hello bottlenose,
when you are working with Pages 2.x than you can copy and paste the thumbnail pages out of and into the thumbnail views (menu: "View/Show Page Thumbnails") of multiple documents. The only thing you should know is, the inserted style names will be overwritten by the existing styles with the same name. So be sure you have different style names for different paragraph appearances in both documents before you copy them.
By the way, the is a handy little app called "PDFLab" (grab it here: http://www.iconus.ch/fabien/pdflab/) with which you can combine and split PDF documents (and do a lot of other things) without starting the behemoth Acrobat.
