Managing DB and AS with the same management tools ???

Hi,
I have Oracle 9i DB now running on Red Hat ES 3.
I plan to install on the same machine 10g AS R2.
My question is simple :
Does 10g AS include all the management tools to control both DB and AS ?
Or do i need to install 9i DB Management and Integration + AS Management tools ?

Well, it seems that a 10g Database and Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Database Control are installed with OracleAS Metadata Repository.
So i don't need to install any 9i management tool, am i right ?

It provides a Web-based user interface for performing database management tasks. For example, you can monitor the performance of the database, schedule backups, and manage the tablespaces of the database.

If you are using the same Apple ID on both devices, the Game Center profile should be the same.
Check out this information from the iPad User Guide. Try signing out of the Game Center on both devices and then sign back in with the correct Apple ID:

If you are using the same Apple ID on both devices, the Game Center profile should be the same.
Check out this information from the iPad User Guide. Try signing out of the Game Center on both devices and then sign back in with the correct Apple ID:

You mean with the same iCloud account?
If so, yes this is possible by accessing the iCloud account with the Mail.app on your Mac and with the iPad and iPhone Mail app. This allows for keeping server stored email account mailboxes synced between all three, syncing contacts, calendar events, notes, and Reminders synced between all three, and the same with the iCloud Photo Stream. In addition, you can have music, books, and apps purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store with one device automatically downloaded on the other devices.

You'll need to set up a second account with a different Apple ID. You cannot use a single Apple ID in two different iTunes Stores at the same time.

You can, yes. But there is a complication: once you activate windows it will only be activated for one of the two methods you use. So, let's say you install into boot camp and activate windows. You can then install Parallels and it will find your boot camp installation, but when running in Parallels, Windows will report that it is not activated. Or, you can activate it in Parallels and when running in Boot Camp Windows will report that it is not activated. The reason for this is because Windows thinks it is running on different computers depending on how you boot it. This may not be an issue for you if you run Windows a lot one way and just occasionally the other way, so be sure to activate Windows in whichever method you use more often. Hope this helps!

ACE20 Rserver and VIP with the same IP

I have an ACE that I'm trying to get configured. I need a rserver to have the same ip address and a class map vip address. ex below.

Shouldn't the transparent command under serverfarm allow this configuration? When I issue the class map command I get this error message.

Hi,
This is correct; you cannot have the VIP and real using the same IP in the config. This will be seen as a Dup IP from the ACE perspective since it owns the VIP IP. How you do this is to configure the server with a unique IP from the subnet configured on the ACE server vlan. This is what you use to define the real in the config. The server IP needs to be L2 adjacent to the ACE for this to work. The transparent keyword tells the ACE to just L2 forward the traffic to the Mac address the real resolves to, but keeps the vip IP as the destination. This is why the server needs to be L2 adjacent to the ACE so that it can see the REALs actual mac address. Without the transparent keyword we NAT the VIP address to the REAL that gets the connections.
You will also need to create a loopback IP using the same address as the vip on the server.
The reason you need to use a loopback IP is so that the server does not arp for this address. You do not want the server to advertise that it owns this address since it is already assigned to the ACE VIP.

I already asked a similar question on this forum about a month ago. I got some amswers but couldn't make it work and I still need some extra help.
I use SCCM 2012 R2 with CU3, I only have one Primary site installed in my internal domain and a management point in my DMZ domain (different forests, no trust) that serves internet clients.
I also want this DMZ MP to manage the intranet clients in DMZ (Web servers...) and I can't make it work.
I thought I could take advantage of the registry AllowedMPs offered by the CU3 because my DMZ clients are not allowed to communicate with the internal primary site on 80/443.
I would like to avoid using the CCMALWAYSINF switch during the SCCM Client installation and to not treat my servers as internet clients. It works but I don't want the DMZ clients to use windows update to download the updates.

1. I have a client certificate and it works because i was able to connect my DMZ server to the MP as an Internet client.
2. I created the certificated with both names (Internet and Intranet), I used the alernative names filed.
3. The MP and DP allow Intranet and Internet connnection.

Multiple Node Manager Instances and servers sharing the same domain home.

Hi,
We have a 8 man server weblogic cluster spread over 4 machines. Each machine runs 2 man servers each.
Each of the machine is configured to run node manager.
We use shared storage accessible to all 8 servers and all 8 man servers have the same domain_home.
Lets call it W:/domain
Now the problem we are facing is that node manager running on 1 machine is trying to access/control a managed server on a different machine after a machine restart.
eg.
ManServer1 Home : W:/domain/servers/server1 ====> runs on Machine 1
ManServer2Home : W:/domain/servers/server2 ====> runs on Machine 2
Problem is node manager on machine 1 is trying to restart man server 2. The path W:/domain/servers/server2 is accessible to Machine 1.
After a restart, what I assume is happening is that the nodemanager is checking all servers folder under Domain_Home/Servers and trying to restart servers instead of restarting only those which it should start. The config file has the server and machine assignment done correctly. Is there a way to make this configuration towork. Or do we need to create different domain_home's for different man servers like
Domain_Home for MS1: W:/domain/MS1 ( Server Home would be : W:/domain/MS1/servers/MS1)
Domain_Home for MS2: W:/domain/MS2 ( Server Home would be : W:/domain/MS2/servers/MS2)

Firefox automatically opens 15 tabs, which I cannot close. I have uninstalled Firefox, and reinstalled, with the same problem reoccuring

Opening in the sidebar is the default for bookmarks that are created via a link or button on a website.<br />
You can check the Properties of a bookmark via the right-click context menu in the sidebar (Ctrl+B; Cmd+B on Mac).<br />
In the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) you can click the More button in the Details pane at the bottom right.<br />
Make sure that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected.
Does it help if you open other content like the bookmarks (Ctrl+B) in the sidebar and close the sidebar via the close X?
You can also check for problems with the localstore.rdf file.

I have a MacBook Pro and an iPad. May MacBook is used by my wife and me at home. I take the Pad with me when I travel. On the MacBook I have and Apple ID registered. It is the same I use with the iPad. Do I need a differnt ID for my wife if we want to use Facetime? Or do I need to create a seperate user-profile for my wife on the MacBook?

I use the same apple id for the same thing when i travel between myself and people at home over my iphone and the ipad i leave at home always seems to work of for me
I normally just give it a little test before i leave each time by signing in of both devices and trying ringing myself

for example creating a fill using Edit > Fill with a random Color and Opacity in the Fill dialog, then later without the original information about the Color and Opacity but just the file, how can I make exact same fill and opacity again?

White represents 100% opacity, so, yes, 100 minus the black (K) percentage of gray in the mask is the equivalent of opacity. The Info panel can tell you colour and opacity of the displayed composite of visible layers under the pointer/cursor at any time.
