Heyy, same problem here, just that this happaned during update from 7.0.3 to 7.1. Now I try to do the restore thing, I get almost to half done and there's the blue screen. Any suggestions?

you will have to wait until you can try again,
i believe the only way if you don't know the passcode is to factory reset through itunes which you will lose everything from your phone if it hasn't been backed up

Cell phones do many things I don't care about, and iPhones do more things than any of them.
To each his/her own but my experience with cell phones is the complete opposite which goes way back when they were mounted in your car only. A range of features or settings I don't want or care about and if I happened to come across an available setting I might be interested in, it was a chore to return to the location where the setting was available since the user interface was so very poor. I continue to use a Razr 3m with Verizon for business and what a joke in comparison to me.
The iPhone does not do this so don't buy one if this feature is very important to you. At least you checked beforehand. No point in purchasing such a device that doesn't meet your needs or wants.
If not, then why not? I really want a good answer to this.
Not sure why not - maybe because this isn't a very common request. I've never used a cell phone that included such a feature. Apple doesn't answer questions here - this is a user to user help forum for technical support issues and questions only so we can only assume Apple chose not to include it or probably didn't even consider it but you can check with the provider regarding the number of rings allowed before a call goes to voice mail and if available, this would probably be a universal setting only - not by designated caller.

Did you already try to reinstall the OS (operating system)?
In my opinion this should be done firstly.
Of course such issue might be related to other reasons like higher temperature or memory module problems but mostly you can solve such annoying notebook behaviors by new OS installation.

Some updates and clarifications:
1. I already have my 2.4 channel fixed.
2. Wireless network name is 8 alphanumeric characters; no spaces
3. Already using WPA2 security with a 10 alphanumeric key (again, no spaces)
4. I am running Airport Utility 6.0, Mac OS version 10.7.4
I should also say that these problems started happening less than a month ago...prior to that all devices where working normally.
An added update: My two e-readers (nook ST and Kindle 3) are also refusing to connect...perhaps confirming that I have 2.4 GHz issues?

The sound was lost suddenly while listening to a pre-aired program on National Public Radio that I accessed from a link from an email from my sister. Everything sounded fine for the first 10 minutes then the sound from the 4S iphone speakers just stopped.

I lost the speaker sound suddenly while listening to a previously aired radio program. Cannot hear any sounds on my Apple 4S iPhone since it happened. Cannot even hear Siri anymore. Can only hear any sound at all using my ear buds. No speaker sound whatsoever. Any suggestions? I've already restored the whole system using iCloud as my backup. I've also rebooted the phone several times. The sound functions well using headphones (which i was not using when the speaker sound all of a sudden stopped working in the middle of the program). I tried cleaning any debris from the speaker and other crevices using a toothbrush and have tried blowing any debris out too. I pressed up on the charging dock using a pen and tapped on the speaker side to dislodge any debris. I even stuck my phone in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer as someone suggested. Any other ideas? I even deleted an app to free up some space. Any other suggestions please?

Lots of things can impact wifi connections. If you are at the marginal edge of the wifi range (which depends not only on distance, but what's between you and the transmitter) you may find the connection dropping in and out. Sometimes a minor repositioning of the computer or transmitter can solve the issue.
As well, interference can also create problems. For instance, microwave ovens are really good at disrupting 2.4Ghz signals, and that the frequency used most often in wifi routers--so if someone turns on the microwave and it's between you and the transmission point it won't be surprising if the connection drops. As well, metal blocks the signal fairly effectively, so if (say) ductwork is between the CPU and the wireless router there can be problems.
Finally, I've run into some combos of devices and routers that just don't seem to like each other :-) . That said, I've not hit that problem with either Air I'm running (an 11" and a 13"), though obviously I've not tried to connect them to every type of router out there.
Just this week I was at a hotel and in my room the hotel wifi was "interesting" with every device I tried (iPhone, Android phone, Kindle Fire, iPad and the two Airs) dropping connection regularly from the work desk. Turned out if I moved the devices over to the nightstand on the other end of the room (not the best work environment) all of the problems went away, so it clearly was a signal issue and the exact layout of that room and the hotel's wifi.
If the machine has a problem when positioned close to a variety of routers, then I'd suspect a hardware issue with the wifi card in the Air and get that checked by Apple. Similarly, if your problem is with your home router, I'd check to see if other devices also are getting dropped, since there could be a hardware issue on the router.

Is the computer in you equipment line:
Dual Core Intel Xenon
(which is not a PowerMac but a Mac Pro) the one you are asking about, or do you have an older PowerMac?
If a Mac Pro, their forums are here:

and, as Mac Pros have a totally different architecture from the pre-2005 Macs this forum covers, you may not have the same issues that can affect the older models. If someone didn't notice your equipment line, you could get advice that doesn't apply.
If you really have a pre-2005 PowerMac, read on.
If the stubborn external is USB and does not have its own power brick (i.e., it gets power only from the computer's UBS ports--"bus powered"), it may not be getting enough power. As electric motors age, they can demand more power than when new, and the power available on any USB port is limited.
The typical workabouts to making a computer recognize an aging, bus-powered USB drive are:
Get a powered USB hub (has its own power brick
Get a "Y" USB cable: 1 Meter USB 2.0 A to 5 Pin Mini B Cable - Auxiliary USB "Y" Power Design for external hard drives.
The second gets power from two USB ports on the computer and often that's enough.
Remember that the USB ports on your keyboard seldom provide enough power even for a thumb drive, so be sure to use the USB ports on the back of the computer.

Hello. I've bought an iPhone 4, which its operating system is 4.3, and was prompt by iTunes about this iPhone 4 software upgrade to iOS 4.3.5. I've downloaded the software and waiting for quite some time and after the dowloading has completed, the file will be processed. After processing, there is a popup saying that somehow the software upgrade failed and said something like make sure that your connection is correct etc. Do you have any idea on how to solve this issue?

In your Start menu, right-click Computer and select "Manage".
Expand "Services & Applications".
Open "Services". (Perhaps maximise the screen to better see what's going on.)
Right-click the Bonjour Service and select "Properties".
In the General tab, set the Startup type to "Disabled":
... and click OK.
Restart the PC and try launching iTunes. Does it open this time?
