Mapping between ABAP and Java IPC structure

Hi all:
        Somebody know how translate the following abap structure to java:
KOMK-KDUMMY = 'X'
KOMP-PSTYV = 'ZTAD'
KOMK-ZZNTGEW
Help me please!!!

David,
Open KOMK in se11 / data type and check the meaning.
Its a header bridge structure between pricing and other application.
You can find meaning of structure attributes there.
Only the names are different but meaning of them remains the same in CRM.

  • Error during VM container communication between ABAP and JAVA

    Hello,
    While creation of SC, I am getting error "Error during VM container communication between ABAP and JAVA"
    Based on earlier responses in this forum, I checked following activity.
    1. T Code - BBP_CND_CHECK_CUST
    Result - IPC Pricing is Active and IPC is now running in VMC
    2. Run Report - RSVMCRT_HEALTH_CHECK
    Result - The Java component is deactivated
    3. As per OSS note 854170, Profile parameters were existed as below
    a) vmcj/enable - on
    b) vmcj/option/maxJavaHeap = 200M
    So, How to get Java component activated?
    Thanks,
    Rahul Mandale

    Thanks Markus,
    For SM53, I am getting resulets as " Java is not active on this application server - Message no. SVMCRT011"
    Can you suggest, what I need to do for it? I can't use SRM Shopping cart because of it. thanks in advance, Rahul

  • Short dump Error during VM container communication between ABAP and JAVA.

    Hello All,
    Can anybody please help with resolving the following issue:
    Short dump is displayed, when I try to insert CRM product (type: material) in the document (opportunity). This CRM product was created in CRM directly.
    When I try to insert ECC migrated material, everything works fine.
    Here is the details of dump:
    Short text
        Error during VM container communication between ABAP and JAVA
    Information on where terminated
        Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLPRC_INT" - in "GET_PRICING_PROCEDURE_INFO".
        The main program was "SAPMHTTP ". In the source code you have the termination point in line 100 of the (Include) program "LPRC_INTF35".
    Thank you!

    hi Willie,
         this is the dump, and i have used the t-code sm52 . the VMC is not active.

  • Explicity mapping between ActionScript and Java objects for the BlazeDS Messaging Service

    The BlazeDS documentation shows how to explicitly map between ActionScript and Java objects. For example, this works fine for RPC services, e.g.
    import flash.utils.IExternalizable;
    import flash.utils.IDataInput;
    import flash.utils.IDataOutput;
    [Bindable]
    [RemoteClass(alias="javaclass.User")]
    public class User implements IExternalizable {
            public var id : String;
            public var secret : String;
            public function User() {
            public function readExternal(input : IDataInput) : void {
                    id = input.readObject() as String;
            public function writeExternal(output : IDataOutput) : void {
                    output.writeObject(id);
    and
    import java.io.Externalizable;
    import java.io.IOException;
    import java.io.ObjectInput;
    import java.io.ObjectOutput;
    import java.util.HashSet;
    import java.util.Iterator;
    import java.util.Set;
    public class User implements Externalizable {
        protected String id;
        protected String secret;
        public String getId() {
            return id;
        public void setId(String id) {
            this.id = id;
        public String getSecret() {
            return secret;
        public void setSecret(String secret) {
            this.secret = secret;
        public void readExternal(ObjectInput in) throws IOException,
                    ClassNotFoundException {
            id = (String) in.readObject();
        public void writeExternal(ObjectOutput out) throws IOException {
            out.writeObject(id);
    If I called an RPC service that returns a User, the secret is not sent over the wire.  Is it also possible to do this for the messaging service? That is, if I create a custom messaging adapter and use the function below, can I also prevent secret from being sent?
    MessageBroker messageBroker = MessageBroker.getMessageBroker(null);
    AsyncMessage message = new AsyncMessage();
    message.setDestination("MyMessagingService");
    message.setClientId(UUIDUtils.createUUID());
    message.setMessageId(UUIDUtils.createUUID());
    User user = new User();
    user.setId("id");
    user.setSecret("secret");
    message.setBody(user);
    messageBroker.routeMessageToService(message, null);

    Hi Martin. The way that AMF serialization/deserialization works for BlazeDS is the same regardless of which service is being used, so yes that code will work for messaging as well. On the server, the serialization/deserialization of messages happens at the endpoint. For an incoming message for example, the endpoint deserializes the message and then hands it off to the MessageBroker which decides which service/destination to deliver the message to.
    That was a good question. Thanks for asking it. Lots of people are used to doing custom serialization/deserialization with the RPC services (RemoteObject/RemotingService) but I'm not sure everyone realizes they can do this for messaging as well.

  • Communication between Abap and Java and Java to Abap

    HI,
    I have installed BI 7.0 and the user complaints that BEx WEB Application Designer Query results are not showing up in the WEB URL Link.
    and the BI user suggests that communication between Abap to java and Java to Abap has to be done?
    How to setup ABAP to JAVA and JAVA to ABAP communication?
    Regards,
    Magham.

    Hi,
    Jco conn from ABAP to Java
    =====================
    You can use the JCO RFC Provider Service of the Web Application Server for your ABAP to Java calls.
    The steps involved in that are
    1. Configure destination in SM59 in SAP.
    2. Create RFC Destination in Visual Admin.
    3. Create a stateless session bean with JNDI name as the name of calling function module in SAP.
    4. Add a business method public void processFunction(JCO.Funtion fn) which is called by the JCO RFC Provider Service. The name should be 'processFunction'.
    5. Set library references in application-j2ee-engine.xml to type weak for the following
    a. com.sap.mw.jco.
    b. com.sap.tc.Logging (if you are using the logging api )
    Here is the sample code for the EJB biz method
    Business Method.
    public void processFunction(JCO.Function function) {
    try {
    // Get the import parameters for the function module
    JCO.ParameterList importList = function.getImportParameterList();
    logger.infoT("The value sent is" +
    (String)importList.getValue("USER_NAME"));
    // Set the export parameter value for the function module
    JCO.ParameterList export = function.getExportParameterList();
    export.setValue("From EJB", "RETURN");
    function.setExportParameterList(export);
    catch (java.lang.Exception e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
    Jco conn from Java to others(ex:ABAP)
    =====================-==========
    • Open Visual Admin(C:\usr\sap\SID\JCxx\j2ee\admin\go.bat) and connect to server
    • Go to Destinations service
    • Open HTTP Settings Tab
    • Add/Edit destination SLD_DataSupplier and type following values
    URL – http://xyz.corp:53000
    Authentication - BASIC
    User – dynproxxx
    Password - bp52st000
    • Press save and test (if you get response code 200 everything is o.k.)
    • Add/Edit other HTTP Destination named SLD_Client with the same values as SLD_DataSupplier:
    URL – http://xyz.corp:53000
    Authentication - BASIC
    User – dynproxxx
    Password - bp52st000
    • Press save and test (if you get response code 200 everything is o.k.)
    • Go to SLD Data Supplier service.
    • Press the button named: Send the Data to SLD and confirm triggering SLD Data transfer (if you receive successful message everything is o.k.).

  • Password inconsistencies on PI between ABAP and JAVA

    Hi,
    I have having a problem with the passwords between the ABAP and Java Stack. I have read SAP Note 999962 and reset the password of service user PILDUSER with Tx SU01 and made sure the user Id is not locked.
    I then attempted to call the Exchange Profile with http://<PI Host>:<port>/dir/start/index.jsp but the link returns the error:
    Internal Error
    Internal error; contact your system administrator
    Unable to read configuration data (ExchangeProfile/aii.properties)
    SAP have aske me to use this liknk too:
    http://<PIhost>:<Port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcxiexprofui/XIProfileApp
    and this returns with a  500   Internal Server Error
    Regards

    Hi ViJaYaNt JhA ,
    I did not know about the 8 character limit on the password SAP note 999962 doe not list this.
    I can change the password in ABAP to 8 characters, but I am still not able to connect to the Exchange profile to change the password.
    http://<PI Host>:<port>/dir/start/index.jsp or
    http://<PIhost>:<Port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcxiexprofui/XIProfileApp
    Is there another workaround?

  • Testing SSL Connections, differences between ABAP and JAVA stacks

    Hello,
       I am trying to test an outbound SSL connection to a partner.   I already have multiple outbound connections to many partners, but this new one is causing an issue.   Our firewalls between the two sites are opened as required, I verified that I can telnet to the 443 port of their sever.   I then attempted to connect to their URL, via a Java SOAP message, and it is rejected.  Some kind of error regarding our handshake.
       In an attempt to troubleshoot the issue I entered their URL in SM59 as a HTTPS connection, tested it, it worked fine.   Which indicates to me that the ABAP side works fine.
       I do the same on the Java stack, via the SOA Manager: Destinations, and it fails.
    "Error during ping operation: Error while silently connecting org.w3c.www.protocol.http.Http.Eception: Peer sent alert: Alert Fatal: unexpected message"
      I was thinking that maybe the remote partner only allows specific types of SSL version connection, and the Java side is too low.  i.e. the partner only allows TLS v1, and we are attempting to use SSL v2.    Is there a place to set this on the Java side?  I know I can set inbound parameters on ICM via SMICM.
      Any help or assistance would be most appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Michael Montone

    Hi,
    I suggest that you verify if you use the same release of the SAP Cryptolib  for the ABAP and the Java stack.
    This could explain a difference of support for SSL or TLS.
    Regards,
    Olivier

    Hi Yadagiri,
    Please check the reply from Carlos in the below thread
    Re: increasing heapsize of java on WINDOWS 2003
    Also check your sm59 RFC destination, i guess there is some problem.
    Delete AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER(RFC connection between the Java engine and the ABAP engine) and create it again.
    Hope tht will resolve ur issue...

  • Connectivity between ABAP and Java Stacks for BI

    Dear all,
    our BI developer have to use BW Analyser for showing and changing of BW reports in Java based NetWeaver Portal.
    Initially just ABAP stack (SID DCE) was installed. In Februar 2014 I installed also an Java Stack (SID JCE) and got dokumentation for
    connection to ABAP Stack from SAP Support, it is attached. Further help from SAP Support is not possible, they mean that this
    case belong to consultion issues.
    Follow activities were sucessfully done:
    1. RFC connection DMSAPERP4DEV_PORTAL_JCE was created in J2EE engine
    2. RFC connection DMSAPERP4DEV_PORTAL_JCE was created for Portal
    3. Portal Server Settings were maintained for portal
    4. Singe Sign-In in BI was maintained
    5. BI Certificate was imported from BI
    6. Portal Certificae was exported from Portal
    7. Portal Certificate was imported into BI.
    By processing of attached SAP guide it was a problem at step 7 "Create BI System in the Portal"with the
    creatig of BW system name. Under "System Administration -> System Configuration -> System Landscape"
    I found no systems which are maintained with the Portal Content Studio. I take a template "SAP_R3_Dedicated"
    but can not change the system name to "SAP_BW", it is still "Dedicated Application Server for R/3 System". All other
    properties was set fine.
    At step 8 of mentioned guide I face the next problem - there is no system names under "SAP Reference System"
    under "Administration -> System Configuration -> Configuration for User Management", because the system
    name on the step 7 could be not set correct, so I can not choose any.
    Please advice how to proceed here.
    Thank you and best regards

    Hi,
    It clearly says the problem is with virtual memory. SO you need to change your virtual memory settings using configtool.
    See the relevant note.940893
    Make changes in the VM parameters for Bootstarp, Dispatched and the server nodes. Your -Xms should be less than equal to -Xmx.
    Restart the cluster then.
    It should work.
    Do reward good points.

    Hi,
    Tha ABAP stack consists of the Integration Server which in turn contains your Integration Engine and Business Process Engine.
    The J2EE stack contains the Adapter Engine and your IR and ID run on the J2EE engine.
    Ever wondered how and where the XI pipeline gets executed? It happens in the ABAP stack.
    All messsages picked by the Adapter Framework running on the J2EE engine are passed to the Integration Engine, which does the routing. The mapping program again gets executed on the Java stack and the rest of the pipeline servies are executed again on the ABAP stack and so  on.
    Take a look at the XI overview doc to understand this better,

  • How to connect separated ABAP and Java stacks ?

    Hi,
    I have installed two separate ABAP and Java Stacks and trying to connect both the stacks together.
    As per my understanding, only JCO RFC is the mean of communication between ABAP and Java stacks.
    But still even after configuring the JCO RFC successfully, I am unable to view, configure or control
    J2EE stack's status from smicm (ABAP).
    Would you please suggest me, if there is any more configuration to be done on abap or Java stack side.
    Thanks,
    Cheers !!!
    Ashish

    Hi Sunny,
    JCO RFC is tested and it is working fine. So no issues from JCO RFC side. Hope you would have read carefully.

    Thanks for your reply. but

    Hope I am able to clear your doubt. Java is completely separated stack and not add-on.
    Suggest me how can I proceed further on this connectivity.

    Hi Olivier,
    I am grateful to you for your reply. I understood your point but now except a successful JCO RFC test,
    is there any mean to check and ensure that both the stacks are connected properly and ready to use.

    Hi Ravi,
    The following are basic differences between ABAP and JAVA WD.
    1. ABAP WD can be developed in ABAP Workbench thru transaction SE80 whereas Java WD needs SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.
    2. Since ABAP WD is a part of the ABAP Workbench, it has direct access to ABAP dictionary. Hence access is faster.
    3. In order to develop on ABAP WD, you will need basic knowledge of ABAP objects, whereas in Java WD, dev is using Java

  • Users mapping between EP and ABAP system

    Hello
    I'd like to ask for some guidance in my quest
    Current situation looks like this:
    I've configured UME in AS Java to work with LDAP as read only data source. Then I've configured SPNego to run SSO - It works, users from MS AD can log into portal.
    Now I have application in WD which authorizes via EP/AD - works fine.
    And next step is users mapping between AD and ABAP backend (serving some BAPI's for WD app)
    I've found a bunch of help pages starting from
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce711/helpdata/en/0b/d82c4142aef623e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
    But somehow it's quite complicated to achieve this mapping. I've tried to set RFC destinations logon type to user mapping but without succes.
    Can anyone point me to some more clear example or give path to configure this scenario? Is there a way of configuring this with NWA or some XML file editing is required?
    Any help will be appreciated.
    BTW: whole environment is in version 7.11
    Best regards
    Maciej

    There is no equivalent to SPNEGO on the ABAP side.
    If your goal is to propagate the user, then possible options are:
    -> Wait for SAML 2.0 or invest now in a SAML 1.0 provider.
    -> Use the same kerberos ticket for the EP as what your ABAP system will accept: route = SNC and 3rd party libraries.
    -> Issue SAP logon tickets for the ABAP system from the EP, and use these in your WDA.
    Another option is to expose the service with saved logon data in the ICF. If the service is just a wrapper for the BAPI, then you can also consider using trusted RFC between the service and the backend, but this might not be acceptable for your service.
    I have only done experimental stuff with this and some of the above is not released yet. Also consider the consequences, even if it "does work"...
    Cheers,
    Julius
