MapViewer Support in IPad Safari Browser

Dear All,
IHAC looking for displaying map data in ipad safari browser and I would like to know if our map viewer supports ipad safari browser?
Thanks,
Kenny

Problem which im facing is when the focus goes to new window below part of code not getting invoked after ajax call completed in parent window.
-> It gets invoke only when i select parent window where the original Ajax call has happened.
case "complete": // After the ajax response is arrived.
   break;
case "success": // After update of HTML DOM based on ajax response..
   win.location.href = "XXX.xhtml"; // Not happeing
   break;
Thanks,
Thangaraj S.

  • Need to have iPad Safari browser support

OK I know this is hard to do, but I have a site that is redering badly only on the iPad Safari Browser.  It works perfectly in all other browsers on all other platforms.  Any way to get this support?

This is very difficult to do. To solve this problem would require one of the following, each of which has it's own set of problems.
Run the content on emulators/simulators on our servers. Far from ideal since inevitably the emulators will be different from the actual browser on the device and our discussions with users indicate this is not acceptable.
Actually host multiple iPads with custom software/hardware modifications to allow us to control them and capture screenshots to return to the BrowserLab client software. This is a very expensive solution for us since it would require constant replacement of expensive mobile devices.
So, unfortunately, no. BrowserLab does not currently support testing on any mobile devices, sorry.

  • Full Screen Mode in IPAD Safari Browser

    Good Afternoon,
Is there anyway to put the IPAD Safari Browser into a full screen mode ?  In Internet Explorer pressing the F11 key does this.
    Thanks,
    Bob

On the iPad tapping the Safari icon in the Dock should automatically have Safari pages load full screen.
If you are referring to the Safari for Mac, you need a third party add on.

  • Unable to clear iPad Safari browser history

Previously the iPad safari browser history could be cleared, now it is blocked, both in settings and browser.

You cannot clear the history if restrictions are on.
Turn off restrictions, then clear all history
    It will work

  • Issue with viewing SAP Dashboards Portal iView in iPad Safari browser (Mobile)

    Hi,
I am facing an issue while viewing iViews hosted in SAP Enterprise Portal. I have two iViews -
    1) An SAP BICS Dashboard - Published as an iView in EP. I can see the dashboard in my laptop running properly. It consumes BEx queries (BICS dashboard) in the background.
    2) A BEx query published as an iView (java web format), also able to run and execute from my laptop.
When I am logging into the portal from IPad Safari web browser I am able to see and run the BEx query iView published in the portal.
However, for the SAP Dashboard iView, it is showing me a blank page after loading. Is it possible to see SAP BICS Dashboard through an iView in Ipad?
I need to run the dashboard iView from the IPad as well. It is an urgent requirement
    Would really appreciate your help!!
    Thanks,
    Debtanay

    Hi,
Don't spend your time to find the reason.
BI platform content is not supported directly in Safari on iPad or Chrome on Android, only through the Mobile BI apps on these platforms.
Please see PAM chapter "SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Mobile Clients supported with this release"

  • Can i install iPAD Safari browser in Laptop.

    hi,
What is the Safari browser version in iPAD and iPhone. Can we use this safari in laptop or iPAD safari and laptop safari is different?
    Vanji

    hi,
I am facing one problem while accessing the www.supertracker.usda.gov site using iPAD iOS 6.0 and we are not facing this issue from laptop safari , mac safari, iPAD iOS 5.0 and iPhone iOS 5.0.
Please follow below steps to reproduce :
    - Access the site www.supertracker.usda.gov
    - Click on the "Create Profile" link  from right side of the page and it will take you to the create profile page where you can create profile.
    - In here you will see one form and in that 4 field is "Physical Activity" , from that drop down box if you select "Base on Weekly Activities I enter", then you will get one alert message and it will not let you to select "Base on Weekly Acetivities I enter" and it will change to First option in the drop down list box.  It has to work in this way, but from iPAD  /  iPhone iOS 6.0 its not behaving like that, after selecting on "Base on Weekly Activities I enter" its not changing to first option.
Can you please help me what the problem could be.
    Vanji

  • IPad Safari Browser isn't saving my router password

Hi guys, as title says, gets rather annoying. When the username and password field pops up when i go to 192.168.1.1 I input my username and password but it doesn't ask me to save it etc.
Is there any way to get my iPad and also iPhone to remember this?
    Thanks in advance.

Hi and thanks for your reply
I did think that however on my mac Safari and Chrome have both saved the password for the router.
Also, I use Vuze to download torrents, using Vuze remote to control it from my iPad/iPhone. I have to input a password to get to use Vuze remote (the same password screen that comes up when I have to enter a password for my router), this password doesn't save either.
However all other passwords save fine such as forum passwords, Facebook etc through Safari browser on my iPhone/iPad.

  • IPad Safari Browser keeps crashing/shutting down on Popular Websites

    Apple iPad (1) WiFi + 3G (Carrier AT&T) Model MC497LL
Ever since upgrading iOS Software to 5.1, whenever using Safari Browser in WiFi only mode, it doesn't really matter what website I visit, whether it's www.facebook.com or any other site with or without picture and/or video content, not sure if most websites I visit are written in HTML5 or are at least compatible, but I bet my bottom dollar that I wouldn't have this problem at all if Adobe Flash were installed and compatible with iOS DEVICES. It crashes on a daily basis by exiting from the browser and returning to the home screen. Not only is this frustrating but I've just about had it with Apple and am seriously considering trading my iPad for ANY Android or Windows 7/8 Tablet. Help!!!

Do a hard reset ie hold the power and home buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears (ignore the red slider). That should fix it.

Did you try a two finger scroll? That works on one shoutbox I use. It doesn't, on others, so I suspect it may not on yours.

  • How to set iPad safari browser to work as offline?

I downloaded a webpage. Want to put it on iPad. It's working fine. When i open the page it shows me the content of downloaded page for a sec. After that page is changing automatically with below message.
    Cannot Open Page
Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet.
Is there any option to set browser to Work As Offline?
    Thank You

As far as I remember this feature will be implemented on iOS 5.
What you do is saving the page as HMTL to the local memory, so you are not able to open it by entering the web-adress.
    Best regards

  • My friend signed into gmail on my iPad safari browser and it kept asking him if he wanted to increase storage capacity size.

My friend signed into their gmail account on my iPad and asked if he would like to increase storage capacity. He clicked no but then it signed him out.
I know this happened once before but he was still able to sign into gmail. He tried again but it still did the same thing.
Is there a way to get around this?

You need to return it to the seller and get your money back.  You cannot reset or use the device with another AppleID installed unless you know the password for that ID.
If the device has been jailbroken, no one on here can give you any further help...the Terms of Use prohibit us from doing so.
