Mass change of object catalog entries

Hi All,
Here is an issue where I need your help:
I have a transport from another system with ~100 objects and I need to change their original systems.
I started it with "SE03 -> Change Object Directory Entries of Objects in a Request", but it takes too much time (double click -> change -> save) * 100...
Is there transaction where I can change these objects' original systems within one step?

Hallo,
it's a long time since the original question, but since this has been posted in SDN so many times : how to mass change a package or original system in SE03 (SE03 / report RSWBO051/RSWBO052). The solution is to select the objects you want and enter MASS in the OK-code.

We have searched SDN already and do find similar questions but no relevant answer , please help.
If we try to change it through Se03 it asks to do it objectby object whch is a very time consuming activity .

In SE03,
You can give wild character if the object names starts with for example A* and then you can block select.
or if you go by further restriction(for example by package name), you can able to list all of the objects under the package.
This way you can block select it and change the object directory.

Routings: mass change of object dependency

Hi Friends,
Do you know if there is way to apply a mass change on object dependency in Routings?
My scenario is: add one new obj dependency at one operation on several (hundreds) routings.

Dear,
BDC is good option you can record the BDC for CA02 through SHDB.
Or else in mass you can do this wth CEWB - Engineering Workbench first define the Working Area in OP77 lets say Working Area SAP_OPERATION select focus on operation also select the required field like Object dependency.
and then go ahead with CEWB.

Changing package - object dictionary entry

Hi all,
my basis has copied a report from a different sap instance to my sap instance. But the package program is not existing in my sap system. Because of this I am not able to modify the program. also I am not able to change the object dictionary entry.
Please tell me how to modify the object dictionary entry of the program in this case.

Changing Object Directory Entry of Infocube - urgent

Hello -
I have an infocube that is already assigned to a package (not $TMP).
How can I reassign it to a different package.
When I try to reassign via Cube change, the package field is greyed out.
I have deleted all data, deactivated the cube + aggregates. There a re queries still attached to the cube though. But cannot change the Object Directory Entry.
Help solicited.

In case of BW, there could be more than one package.
One for Backend development (like cube, ODS, update rules, info objects etc) and one or more for Reports.
So in ur case, the cube would always be alloted to the same package! You would only create new requests....

When I am trying to change the package I am getting the following error message.
Object directory entry R3TR DTEL ZZADJ_PER locked
for request/task DEVK900251
How to change the object directory entries which are part of a request/task?

As I told you before as long as you dont unlock those objects you can not change the package. Please unlock and then try to change the object directory entry. Create a new transport of copies and release the old transport. The released transport will not go anywhere. Dont forget to check the options on the unlock entries (expert tool).

Mass change of authorization objects in several roles

Hello,
we have to change a authorization object in almost 200 roles. Is there any possibility for mass change of authorization objects in several roles? We don't use the central SAP user administration.

Here comes:
1- download all relevant roles in once from PFCG. Make sure you use an appropriate codepage so you don't loose special characters in the role and menu texts.
2- copy and backup the download file
3- in the download file (is a text file) look for all lines starting with AGR_1251 and conatining M_MATE_WGR and the field you want to change
4- take out the star and two spaces and replace by 001. This file is a set of fixed record length table exports and keeping the original length is very important.
5- upload the edited file and generate the profiles.
As you may see this is not SAP standard and completely at your own risk. Best try in a sandbox client first.

Is there any possibility in BI to do mass Object Directory Entry assignment of <my BI package> instead of $TMP to InfoObjects?

Go to tcode: SE80 it is called as Object Navigator, there you can create a package on your own, after creating the package all the objects will go into that package, after you create the package you will get a request number, and you have to give that request number when you do for mass objects entry.

Service Desk - need IB52 iBase "partner assignment" mass change

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are using SAP Service Desk in Solution Manager 7.0 EhP-1.
There are many satellite systems connected to SolMan using Service Desk.
Of course all of them are setup in SMSY, have a valid iBase entry in IB52, and have the "sold-to-party" assigned in IB52 -> Goto -> Partner.
Now we need to assign a new business partner as "sold-to-party" for all these systems.
We do not want to rename the current business partner, but have to assign a new business partner to not influence existing tickets.
Thus, manually we would need to go to IB52 and change the partner assignment in IB52 -> Goto -> Partner and enter a new value for all the systems.
Q: is there a way to perform a mass change for the "sold-to-party" partner assignment of the iBase entries? Is it possible to update or replace all or multiple existing partner assignments in iBase?

Can you please tell me how did you create iBase for NON-SAP Systems? I know it is IB51/IB52? I am not sure what do you do after that? For an example I went to IB51 and create iBase number 403? now I go to IB52 and put the 403 in the installed Base field and click on Green arrrow to go inside correct? what do I do after that? where is the options to create the iBase name call "Network Group" ?
How did you solve your issue for not showing when you went to F4 in NOTIF_CREATE? was that authorization error? if yes, do you know the object name?

Instead of writing LSMW, i am looking for mass change option for list of equipments available thru IE05 under Go To----> Carry out a mass change.
Its giving me a error message :
Objekt PM_MASS_TECH_OBJECTS is not maintained
Message no. BL010
Diagnosis
An application log entry is to be made for object PM_MASS_TECH_OBJECTS. This object is, however, not maintained as an application log object.
Objects and subobjects of the application log are created using transaction SLG0.
System Response
The program had to be cancelled.
Procedure
Inform the system administrator.
I went thru the forum link: Mass Change of Functional Locations - error message "Objekt PM_MASS..... and read the note 1166820.

i'm trying to change a filed value as null. i.e. a value is maintained in pp work centre field for functional location. i want to delete this value to keep this field as blank. By using this mass change functionality i'm not able to do so. can any body hep me out to this problem.

Hi,
Use T-Code MASS,choose Object Type as BUS2012.Click on Execute.
Select PO Items from Tables & Agreement (MASSEKKO-KONNR) from Fields & Execute.
Enter your PO's there & Execute.
Enter your values at New Values & Click on Carry Out Mass Change Icon.
Then save your entries.

Mass change of text in purchase info record.

Hi All,
For purchasing info record, we have maintained copying rules to adopt text from material master. In copying rule for info record, we have maintained Fixed indicator for material master text "Purchase Order Text." The texts copied to info records from material master is having status fixed.
The problem is, since text is having fixed indicator it is not copying to PO unless we make change or adopt it. Now we do not know how many info record is having the text as fixed since in most PO's text is not getting copied.
Is there any way where we can make a mass change so that fixed indicator is removed. If LSMW, how can we know how many info records are having text as fixed indicator "*". Or is there is some other way.

You can change/ remove the "No material text' check box either by using a
mass maintenance - transaction MASS,
object type: BUS3003
table: EINE
give the Info record number/Pur org/info-category/ plant
or using the batch input recording using LSMW.
You can find the number entries of info-records having 'No Material text' using transaction SE16/SE16N with table EINE
and select the 'NO Material text' with 'X: and hit number of entries..you will find it

Separate TCode for Mass Change of documents (For authorization purpose)

We have internal audit function where internal audit chief will remove the payment block of multiple vendor invoices through FBL1N --> Environment --> Mass Change.
Now problem is that authorization for FBL1N is given to 6 more employees (related to AP Accounting). Hence all these employees can do the mass change. I want to restrict this mass change authorization only to one person i.e. internal audit chief.
Please tell me how to bring this restriction.

You should contact your basis guy to do so...In tab authorization first you will have to find this object he system will display it , there you can assign 03 in place of *.
Personally i will recommend you should go for creating transaction variant using SHD0 which is an easy way to do so. Please check it will solve your issue. I just did both in test sever both of them are working perfect for me. Mass button is disabled when you set 03 for F_BKPF_KOA. SHD0 meets the subject topic of your post.

Contract Mass change enhancement in SRM 7.0

Hi Experts,
We are using SRM 7.0 & implementing new Contract mass change functionality for header P.Org. & P. Group data. I have created a Web Dynpro Component (with View similar to /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_AO_CT_MC_D), & implemeted a BADI /SAPSRM/CTR_MC_BADI & added an entry in Table BBPV_CTR_MASSOP.
After selecting the change method i am getting the error "View O_V_PURCH does not exist in the component YWDC_UI_AO_CTR". Actually, O_V_PURCH is an outbound plug of the WEb Dynpro Component. I am not sure why this eror is coming.
Could you please help me out in this. That will be a great help.
FYI - I am using Operational Contract Configuration document as reference.
