Material is not editable in sales order

Hello,
we have service order returns (zbre). with reference to returns order we create free of subsequent delivery (zbsd).
but here some times the business wont delivery same material which shows in returns order it replaces different material.
but the sap not allowing change the material in free of charge subsequent delivery.

Dear,
Since it is a subsequent delivery free of charge, it is standard that that sytem wont allow to change the material .
(as a standard process , we will deliver only the material which was sent and was faulty )
But please try to use the concept of material determination.
This might help in your requirement.
If the issue is closed, please let us know how you resolved the issue.

    Weu2019re creating Sales Order w.r.t. contract. Weu2019re putting PR00 in contract. PR00 is manual, has no access sequence. Same pricing procedure has been assigned to contract and order. In that Pric Procd PR00 is manual and mandatory. In VTAA Copy Ctrl between Contract and Sales Order Pricing type is D @ Itm level.
    Now the issue is that PR00 in sales order is being copied from Contract, but in Sales Order it is editable. We want that PR00 should be non-editable in Sales Order. How to achieve this?

    As you are using same Pricing Procedure in Order & Contract & PR00 is manual in Conract, you cannot make it non-editalbe in Sales Order using Standard Config.
    You will have to go to Z-Development as suggested by Prasanna above.
    SHD0 will also not be useful because you would like to have other Conditions in editable mode.

  • Can not edit the sales order draft

    Hi All,
    we are using SAP 2005 B PL 44. we are not able to edit the sales order in the approval stage once it is approved or even not approved. for e.g. if the user sends a sales order to the higher level for approval but the higher level wants some modifications in the sales order to be done by the user and so approval request is rejected by the approver. now when the user opens the draft to change it, no row at sales order detail is editable. please let us know if there is some problem with the Patch.

  • Material Exclusion Not working in Sales Order

    Hi All,
    I configured material Listing/Exclusion to make some  materials available for(Industrial Sector customer) and exclude for ( Public  Sector customer).
    I used the following configuration procedures
    u2022     Created a  Condition table with combination of fields(Sales Organisation, Customer Group and Material).
    u2022     Then created two Access sequences   and Assigned the Condition table to each Access Sequence.
    u2022     Created two condition Types and Assigned the Access Sequence.
    u2022     Created Determination Procedure for Listing/Exclusion and Assigned the Condition Types.
    u2022     Then  assigned the Determination Procedures(Listing/Exclusion) to Order Document Type.
    u2022     Using VB01, I created a condition record for Exclusion, select the sales area, defined the Customer Group as Public Sector and selected all the materials to be excluded.   Also created the condition record for listing with the customer group defined as (_Industrial Sector_ and selected all the valid materials).
    When I create the Sales Order the exclusion materials were allowed for the Public Sector Customer.
    Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Have you encountered similar problem in the past and is it possible it can be due to the related table not being refreshed?
    As someone just told me, it has encountered the problem  before and that sometime if the backup tables are not supportive it will not reflect?

    Could you tell the reason - Conditions are neither editable nor you can insert a conditin in sales order line item as the insert icon is inactive.

    According to my client Requirement  at the time of  sale order creation material is mandatory , but i tried through Incompletion log
    its showing material mandatory but the problem is after entered the material in one line item when i try to save the sales order
    system is asking enter the material  again ie one more line item
    so i have avoid the that error and how to map into SAP system suppose to ask onetime material is mandatory

    As Amit Suggested, in user exit USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE in MV45AFZZ, you need to add a small 2 liner code telling the system that if VBAP-MATRN is blank then give an error message.
    I had the same requirement and I have used it and it works perfectly fine for me. Let me know if you have any further questions.

  • VPRS not coming in sales order

    Hi All,
    Please look at my scenario and suggest any recommendation.
    Sales Org - ABCD is assigned to Company code - ABCD
    Order type - standard
    Item category(ies) - TAN (with determine cost checked) & TANN (with determine cost checked)
    Pricing procedure - has VPRS (with requirement - 4, subtotal - B)
    Plant - XYZ (is assigned to Company code - JKLM)
    Customer - 12345 (has delivering plant as XYZ on CMR)
    Material : KAS010-1
    Now, a sales order is placed for customer 12345 from ABCD sales org with XYZ plant on the line items.
    Order has 2 line items:
    10 KAS010-1 2 TAN $260
    20 KAS010-1 3 TANN $0
    When I go to line item condition, for both lines, I do not see VPRS. When I looked at the pricing analysis, it says, requirement 04 is not fulfilled.
    In the debug mode, it gave me that T001K IS NOT EQUAL TO T001 (i.e. JKLM {company code for plant XYZ} IS NOT EQUAL TO ABCD {company code of ABCD}).
    However, still I want to see VPRS on the sales order to map COPA.
    Please recommend if there is a way to do it (either by standard or development).

  • Condition type not coming in sales order

    Hi,
    we have a condition type Z026. The issue is that  it is not set in the order but the condition records exists. The pricing analysis shows that condition reocrd is missing but the fact is the condition record is there. The acess seq is Z026 and there are many tables in the acess sequence.
    The first table in the access seq is 906 and the condition record exists but still the system says that the condition record is not found using  cond preliminary step (header fields like customer/sales org/div). the cond record is maintained for  relevant sales org/dist channel/customer/material. cond preliminary step means that system first looks for the header fields but everything is there.
    The condition is active and the conditon is created on 21.7.10 with validitity from 21.7.10 to 31.1.2010 and the pricing date in sales order is 27.7.10. so everyhting is fine but yet the condition is not coming in sales order

    Hi,
    Now try creating a sales order with 20.07.2010 as the pricing date. It will work. Create another order with 21.07.2010 and it will not work. If so, it is due to the validity date. When you give 21.07.2010 as validity date and there is already another record which was valid on that date, the gap of one day can happen and we have experienced this. There is even an OSS note explaining this concept, which makes sense business-wise.
    However you check the scenarios I have mentioned. If the behaviour is as I have mentioned, then you have to change the pricing date of your problamatic sales order to one day earlier, or move the validity date one day earlier.

    Hi Friends.
    I found the solution...
    Its customization mistake..
    Solution:
    When we have 'n' tax categories then we should have 'n' condition tables..
    I have 2 tax categories: JCST and JVAT but i have only one condition table 368 which is wrong.. i should have 2 condition tables.. so i created another con. table 468 and assigned to access aeq JLST.
    then when i create cond. record , we have to select the appropriate table then it will fetch accordingly.. in sales order..

    3. Now delete the plant at item level and hit enter, Profit center is not shown,

    Also maintain the following settings in copy control.
    Goto the T.Code "VTFA".
    Select your valid combination.Details.
    Double click on "Item".Select your Item category.

    Data VBRK/VBRP as "002".

    The normal SAP ATP done in the sales orders use the figure ''committed qty'' meaning that if the ATP has been done and confirmed, that quantity will not appear in the next sales order as available.
    So if You're using the normal BAPI to create the sales order, the normal ATP function will be called in the processing.
    Nevertheless another solution to this issue is to have the MTO (Make-to-order) solution where the requirements are ''attached'' to one sales order/line only.....like this the problem of the stock being taken to another customer disappears.
    To do this you'll have to configure the following :
    - Go to SPRO and go to Sales and distribution -> Basic functions -> Availability check and transfer of requirements -> Determination of requirements using transaction - Here insert the entry with your sales order type - MRP type (from material master - you might want to consider create one only for this solution) and you should use one of the following:
      - KEL      Make-to-order, mat. variants
      - KELV     Make-to-ord.variant + consump
      - KP       Make-to-order with project 
    and choose the origin of your requirement - 1 - Item category + MRP Type
    - Than configure the association of the requirement type above to the requirement class (normally is the same code) transaction *OVZH*
    - Than configure the requirement class (this is what will tell the system the MTO) transaction *OVZG* - On the screen in the field Special stock - E - Sales order stock and please ask for help from an FI consultant because the area of *Account assignment is very important to be well configured*
    About the BAPI you're using - Its correct - That's the normal BAPI to be used, taking only into consideration the product allocation issue - MARA-KOSCH
    Explaining a little the BAPI you're using :
    The program should check if the selected material is allocated or non-allocated.
    This information is stored in a field MARA-KOSCH.
    We should check this field and if the field is not empty then material is allocated, otherwise is not:

    First pls clarify one thing whether you are talikng about Payment terms or Payment Method...
    In Cust.master Payment terms & payment method data are maintained by FI consultants in Company code data under Payment transactions..
    also Payment terms is mainatained by SD  in Billng Doc.. tab 
    If it is Payment methods then ck in OBVU

  • Rounding : User flexibility to edit the Sales Order quantity.

    Hello Gurus,
    We are on 6.0 and have the following requirements.
    1st requirement: To round the Sales Order Quantity to the Alt Unit of Measure (higher or lower). As a solution we could use the Rounding Profile.
    The problem is with 2nd requirement below.
    2nd business requirement: When the system rounds the Sales Order quantity to higher or lower, the user should have the flexibility to edit the Sales Order quantity and decide whether to permit rounding or not, as suggested by the system.
    Currently, with standard config, the system gives the message V1720 saying it has rounded the quantity with a reason. After the rounded quantity is suggested by the system, even if the user edits the Sales Order quantity, the system puts it back to the previously rounded quantity.
    SYSTEM REQUIREMENT : We would like to have the Rounding but we want the user to be able to edit the rounded quantity.
    REASON : Since the products are high value, we want the customer to feel comfortable with the rounded quantity.
    The users do not want to impose the rounded quantity compulsorily on the customer. If the customer is not comfortable with the rounded quantity, the customer should be givne the choice of a non-rounded quantity.
    IMPACT : In these difficult times, every Order is important. If we don't not give this choice to the customer, the customer might decide not to order at all. We do not want to lose the Order just because of the higher rounded quantity. But, at the same time, we would like to give the choice to the customer of the rounded quantity and his non-rounded quantity.
    PLEASE NOTE : In this situation, the Rounded quantity is slightly different from Minimum Order quantity. The Minimum Order quantity is not the solution.
    QUESTION : Is there any standard setting or is User Exit, BADI the only method ?

    Thanks for the reply. Actually these customers are created as a Agents and we are using these customers in Commission rebates. So at the time of Rebate partial credit memo, then these agents should be active otherwise system will give the error.
    So what i am thinking is, Standard sales order creation needs to be restricted so that users can not able to create standard order.
    So can you suggest is there any user exit can be used to prevent creation of standard order for these account group and order type xxx?

    Hi,
    Now you have to provide additional information about your scenario;
    1) Is it a new material created that gives this problem?
    2) Did you create any new MRP type or schedule line category?
    3) When you say some materials-sales order is not seen in MD04 and some seen in MD04. Is there any any difference between the materials like in types, MRP views etc?
    From SPRO side,
    You also need to check the transfer of requirement settings in t.code OVZ1 for what requirement type assigned  to your MRP type and item category. Also check the properties  of the  requirement type  in t.code OVZH what req.class is assigned to the  req.type.
    Check the property of the  req.class in t.code OVZG (aval.check and TOR must be checked  at req. class level)
    You may also need to check in t.code OPSS on the strategy (which is assigned in the material master MRP view3) on whether TOR and availability check has been activated  or not.
    If all are OK, then run the report which is mentioned in the earlier response.

    Hi Marco,
    I believe this is a Functional Issue rather than a Technical one. If you could speak to the Functional Concultant or pass this data via manual transaction, you will get the error details.
    It's just that the data passed to the BAPI is either incorrect or incomplete. You can also refer the Function Module Documentation for tips.
