Sir,
i want to classify some materials as slow moving stock
we have a separate location know as "WK01" which defines it as slowmoving
my requirement is that in MMBE a separate indicator or tick should come for the storage location

there are already few report provided like MC46 and MC50 for slow mvg and dead stock reports...
But even if you are maintaining it at the storage location, then it'll directly come under MMBE also...
I suggest you to not to go for anything new and use the already exsisting reports...
or
even if you req...
then check at
SPRO >> MM >> Inventory management and PI >> Reporting >> check here as per your req..

Column chart from Bex query with 2 characteristics in rows and column

Hi,
We're trying to represent the following column chart in Dashboard Design:

The BEX query has:
Result objects: Material, Month/year; amount
The problem is when i paste the Material dimension in the Excel, i'm getting the following result:

Happy to hear that its working now.
Answering your question, again its upto the connection and report format you are using. Based on your question i hope you your report output should be like this.
You cannot map to two labels for the series, again this report format is possible only in cross tab through Webi. I would suggest you to concatenate the material and month in a dimension in webi like below.
I have done the concatenation in excel level, i would suggest you to do that in webi. Try to reduce the formula as much in excel.
or
If you are using Query browser connection, then i would suggest you to create a separate report which will display the actual vs plan material wise, here you need to pass the material as a prompt.

Hi there,
Delivery Note: Gives the details about what items are sent, quantity, ship-to, delivery / incoterms etc. Sometimes this may also include price of the items as a reference. This is one of the mandatory docs in shipping. Its a printout triggered after PGI.
Shipping notification: This is either sent as an EDI or as a printout to the forwarder / carrier about the incoming goods that he needs to transport. It will display the details of items, quantity, ship-to destination etc. This will givehim a rough idea about how much space he needs for the shipment & where he has to delivery them. This is triggered immediately after the delivery creation.
Freight list: Again the same details about the goods delivered, weight, cost of the goods, destination etc.
Shipping Label: this is a bar coded information of the delivery releated items. This is used for scanning purpose.
Material Tag: Gives the information about material transported weather they are dangerous goods, perishable goods etc.
Quality Certificate: A undertaking from the company that sends the goods to the customer mentioning that the goods that are transported are of good quality. This is used to compare the goods to check if thegoods are damaged or in correct num. The customer the concerned agent will compare the details mentioned in the quality cert with the goods he receives. Then he will know if the goods are damaged or lost.

Software update keeps bring up the same update every restart: iMac EFI Firmware 1.7

After I update "iMac EFI Firmware 1.7" and then restart and run update the system is asking me to update the same software again. I have run the update via software update, via the terminal and also by downloading the update manually and then installing and restarting.
The computer runs very slow even with plain word documents.
I cannot reinstall from the disks that came with the computer because I get the yellow trriangle with the exclamation mark and the error message "this disk cannot be used to start up your computer."

Inventory Count (1 material under 1 loc have multiple tags)

Hi,
SAP standard inventory count is 1 material 1 location can only have 1 physical document. But our scenario is based on the tag number (which means there will be different tag number for the same code), and our tag number does not have any linkage to the SAP standard inventory count program. This is because even in the same location, our material will be at different places, and we might use more than 1 tag for the same material.
For example our scenario (1 loc 1 material multiple tags):
Tag No      Material Code
CA00001     CPS756
CA00002     CPS756
CA00003     CPS518
CA00004     CPS518
CA00005   CPS518
CA00006   CPS632
Whereas the SAP standrd program is (1 loc 1 material 1 line item):
100000182     1     CPS756
100000182     2     CPS518
100000182     3     CPR632
This will help a lot to ease the entering as the user just need to enter the count according to the tag number, and also reduce any typo error. And if we enter according to SAP method, we will have to sum up the total of all the same code, then only enter the count qty.

Hello Sim,
There are several possibilities you can think about,
1. If you are considering your tags as a batch number then you can put the material number and batch number while creating Physical Inventory.
2. If materials are in different places then you can consider these different places as a different storage location.
3. You can manage your stock with Warehouse mangement functionality (This will be the best option, but will be required to activate warehouse management and lots of data conversion activities).

this is the issue regarding material master(mm02).
user want to fetch the data related to the TAG column for all the materials.
Ex: There are 1000's of materials only some materials are maintained with TAG column(sales text tab in the material master).
I want to fetch the materials which is having *,/ data,
do we have any solution in the standard,if yes can u give me a valuable answer for this call.

Shiva, there is no direct tcode or table for material texts..you've to develop a report which gets the required info using the Function Module: READ_TEXT by passing the reqd parameters.

TAGs do Grupo II não preenchendo quando preenche "Other Base"

Pessoal
Seguindo a nota SAP(1616778), lançada para atender demandas da NT004.2011, passamos a preencher os dados de imposto de importação na aba u201Ctaxesu201D, no detalhe dos itens de uma NFe, no tipo de imposto u201CII01u201D.
Quando preenchemos o valor base no campo u201CBase Amountu201D o XML é gerado com o grupo de II e preenche as tags u201CValor Baseu201D e consequentemente é rejeitada na SEFAZ com o status 599 "Rejeição: CFOP de importação e não informado dados de II". A determinação do departamento tributário do cliente é que o correto é o preenchimento no campo u201COther Baseu201D pois é um imposto a ser pago e não recuperado.
Vale ressaltar que o preenchimento dessas TAGs é feito pelo std e não por determinação nossa via BADI.
Olhando no código std o include LJ_1B_NFEF29 declara: "* For Vers 2.00, only the base amount is used to fill vbc
Otherwise the sum of the items does not match the total tax base"
Então minha dúvida é se realmente o valor base para cálculo do imposto de importação deve ser preenchido no campo u201COther Baseu201D ou no campo u201CBase Amountu201D. Lembrando que nesse caso estamos tratando de NFe de importação de materiais para revenda. E se o correto for o caso de estar preenchido no "other base", o que deve ser feito é o preenchimento via BADI já que o código deixa explicito que só deve ser preenchido no "base amount"?
Agradeço desde de já qualquer ajuda ou esclarecimento.

Na verdade a condição era a TAG vBC estar vazia e a vII estar preenchida, portanto não seria o caso de enviar para todas as NFe criadas. De qualquer forma vimos que ainda havia a possibilidade de não passar nenhum valor em nenhuma das TAGs (ex: Complementar) e por conta disso condicionamos a estar preenchido a TAG vDI. Como já aplicamos a Nota que habilita a aba "Import Documents" o campo com número da DI sempre será preenchido no caso de uma NFe de importação.
Mariliapiatto, no nosso caso estamos preenchendo a base do cálculo do valor do II no campo "Other Base" e o valor do II no campo "Tax Amount". Quem determinou que seria dessa forma, foi o tributário do cliente, levando em conta que esse material está sendo adquirido para revenda.

Basic Data Upload to MATERIAL Using LSMW is not working

As your MV is a complex MV it is not a candidate for FAST REFRESH ON COMMIT.
I haven't looked closely at how 11.2 has changed the "fast refresh on commit" - but I would have expected it to raise an Oracle error when the OP tried to create the materialized view with that option if it were not possible.
I think your first comment is probably the more important one - if the user sets up suitable materialized view logs on all the tables in the outer join then it's possible that the fast refresh could work properly.
This is pure speculation, of course, based on the absence of an error message.

 The University of Massachusetts Amherst is leading a Commonwealth Alliance for Information Technology Education (CAITE) to design and carry out comprehensive programs that address under representation in information technology (IT) education and the workforce. CAITE will focus on women and minorities in groups that are underrepresented in the Massachusetts innovation economy; that is, economically, academically, and socially disadvantaged residents.
 The project will pilot a series of outreach programs supported by educational pathways in three regions (one rural, one suburban, and one urban). The project will include work with high school teachers, staff, and counselors. CAITE will identify best practices and disseminate, deploy, extend and institutionalize these best practices statewide and nationally.
 Community colleges are the centerpiece of CAITE because of the central role they play in reaching out to underserved populations and in serving as a gateway to careers and further higher education.
 This project will build a broad alliance built on its leadership in and partnership with the Commonwealth Information Technology Initiative (CITI), the Boston Area Advanced Technological Education Center (BATEC), regional Louis Stokes Alliances and NSF EGEP programs, and other partnerships and initiatives focused on information technology education and STEM pipeline issues

Having Multiple Material Codes with Different Profit Centers in one Plant

Hi,
Can someone explain me what impact it will have, if there are different Material Codes with multiple profit centers in a single plant? For example, say Material 1 has Profit Center as PC1 and Material 2 has Profit Center as PC2 and they are in a single plant. Will this have impact on Financial Transactions?

No negative impact.. It is very much possible and logical
All the purchases made - > Stocks and vendor liability will be tagged to the PC of the Material
All the sales made -> COGS, Revenue and Customer Liability will be tagged to the PC of the material, unless you overwrite using a Substitution

John Legend Selling $32,000 Watch
This unique watch with an engraved picture and autograph of musician John Legend is part of a limited edition itself, but is a one-of-a-kind piece. The Audemars Piguet Millenary Pianoforte line of watches is limited to 500 pieces and is itself musically themed to have the representation of piano keys on the dial of the watch. Bubba Sparxxx arrested on felony narcotics charge 
 
Rapper Bubba Sparxxx has been arrested on a felony narcotics charge. 
 
Sparxxx, whose real name is Warren Anderson Mathis, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after an incident Sunday evening in which an off-duty officer in Clearwater saw another suspect hand him a narcotic, Tranxene. 
 
Authorities say they found the items in his wallet after agreeing to a search. 
 
The musician posted a $2,000 bond on Monday. He nor his agents could be reached for comment.

Rapper Bubba Sparxxx has been arrested on a felony narcotics charge. 
 
Sparxxx, whose real name is Warren Anderson Mathis, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after an incident Sunday evening in which an off-duty officer in Clearwater saw another suspect hand him a narcotic, Tranxene. 
 
Authorities say they found the items in his wallet after agreeing to a search. 
 
The musician posted a $2,000 bond on Monday. He nor his agents could be reached for comment.
