Hi, I tried to download a bunch of my favourite TV episodes. I was unable to get them all due to lack of storage. I increased my storage but the downloads didn't come. I tried deleting the already downloaded and viewed episodes but don't know how.

With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. Please a simple problem but I don't know how to solve it. After installing 16 gb of ram all is good but when I turn on the computer it is a window signaling that all is correct. How is possible to delete once and for all that window? Thank you

To take a screenshot hold ⌘ Shift 4 to create a selection crosshair. Click and hold while you drag the crosshair over the area you wish to capture and then release the mouse or trackpad. You will hear a "camera shutter" sound. This will deposit a screenshot on your Desktop.
If you can't find it on your Desktop look in your Documents or Downloads folder.
When you post your response, click the "camera" icon above the text field:
This will display a dialog box which enables you to choose the screenshot file (remember it's on your Desktop) and click the Insert Image button.
⌘ Shift 4 and then pressing the space bar captures the frontmost window.
⌘ Shift 3 captures the entire screen.
Drag the screenshot to the Trash after you post your reply. -
i just opened my mail on icloud and all messages disappeared from the last year! I have one email left in my inbox which is the most recent. I moved to icloud 2 weeks ago and it has been working fine until now. How can I retrieve old messages? Thank you.
I guess you could try but I don't believe Apple can help with activation lock issues. They may, however, be able to determine if the Apple ID belongs to one of you and reset the password for you if you can prove your identity.
You might want to try calling Apple by going to https://expresslane.apple.com; click 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'. Perhaps they can help determine if it's your ID and reset the password for you (and they probably have more expertise in doing this than the Apple store). -
What happens when the computer get too full of e-mails? Will it automatically start deleting ... or give you some kind of warning?? I never delete personal mail right away since I might want to refer back to it, and then the first thing I know, I've got a big backlog.
It will not automatically delete any emails; you will need to do that. You may suffer performance issues in Mail if you let your mailboxes become too bloated. And, aside from Mail, the files take up a lot of room are photos, videos, and music, so you might want to watch those - every once in a while, check how much hard drive space you have and make sure you empty the trash regularly. Checking your hard drive space: highlight your Macintosh HD icon on the desktop; hit Command + I and check the total capacity, and how much is left.

My Itunes says there is a corrupt file and will not open (IMac 2010). I couldn't fix it by reinstalling ITunes so I moved ITunes to trash. It will not delete from my trash as it is saying "Japanese.lproj" is in use. I have never opened or used "Japanese.lproj". Interesting. This sort of thing is more common on Windows systems. Taken at face value, one of the iTunes program files (one of the Japanese language resources) is damaged.
I'd try running your Disk Utility over your startup disk. Does it find/repair any damage? If so can you empty your trash and reinstall your iTunes successfully now? -
How can I delete my Icloud account when I don't know the password and no longer have the email address associated with it?
You need your password to delete it and I need the email address to reset the password. I feel like I'm going in circles!!! Please help!!!Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address (you shouldn't need to verify the old account). You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

With Yahoo Mail, and anotare account (Inacap Mail), I can only receive mails but I can't send emails. I don't know if this is a problem of the iPad or it is a problem with yahoo mail, because using Gmail and the email of my job I don' have this problem.
Google them to confirm the settings that you need for the outgoing server, then check the setting you entered on the pad. Pay real close attention to the outgoing server name, and port. You may need to change in on the pad.

Can anyone recommend a duplicate file finder application for OS10.6 systems? All the apps I find on the App Store are only for 10.7 and later. I don't know how to filter a search on the App Store by operating system (if this is even possible). I currently have a MacBook running OS10.6.8. If you can recommend an app, please post the URL. Need software which can send images to my editor, have them make selections, share them with me so I can edit the images and send the final results back to them. Will Lightroom work?
What I would like to do is to use Lightroom as I have been doing with LR 5.7. Tag certain images to be shared to the Creative Cloud which my editor can then see and tag as to which she would like to see final versions of. In the best case, I would then see these tags and edit the images as appropriate and save the JPEGs back to the Cloud where she can download them for final production.

I entered the incorrect password for my home wifi network, and now I can't change it. How do I clear out the wrong password so that I can enter a correct one?
Settings > wi-fi then tap on the little blue arrow next to the network you want to change. You have to tap on the blue arrow and not on the name.
Now at the top tap on "forget this network".
After that, the iPhone will think your home network is a new network and will ask you for the password to connect. -
I use dial-up, FireFox 5.0, Yahoo addition 1.8. My screen load times have slowed down to a crawl. I have to wait and wait for a page to load. I'm having the same problem. Dreamweaver is supper slow. Uploading and downloads from the server... any server I use two different servers. It times out all the time. Menus are slow too.
I'm on a MAC Pro, 6 gigs of ram no issues with anything else. I have talked to Apple they have checked everything for me. They say it's Dreamweaver. I've noticed the Dreamweaver is talking to the FTP even when I'm not doing anything.
I've tried cleaning out my MAC caches, turning off file check and check out. Still really slow. I've worked with Dreamweaver for 6 years never any issues like this before. 18 seconds to upload a 4 kb file. 11 seconds to download the same file. -

My macbook came with snow leopard, if I upgrade to Lion will I be able to use my restore disks in the future and if I do use my disks that brings me back to snow leopard, Will itunes remember I purchased Lion or will I have to purchase a second time ?
At this point, you can no longer download Lion (10.7) from the App Store, only Mountain Lion (10.8) - make sure all your applications are fully compatible if you decide to upgrade.
Yes, you can restore 10.6 using your restore disc should you wish to - and the App Store (not ITunes) will have a record of all your purchases, since it's linked to your AppleId.
