Max. number of docs/topics in WinHelp4 project?

I just upgraded to RH 7 from RH X5. I have a WinHelp4 project
and I'm using RoboHelp for Word.
What is the maximum recommended size of such a project?

The pink markers are in your clips, not on the timeline - you must have had the clip selected when you inserted those markers. Clip markers are ignored when you export a sequence.
When you want to insert chapter markers, make sure you don't have a clip selected. Move the playhead to the point where you want the chapter marker & hit the M key twice; in the dialog box, give it a name, click the Chapter Marker button and click OK. You will get a green marker at the top of your timeline and they will import into iDVD.
You should go back & remove the pink markers; you will have to select the clip again to remove them. But if they are at locations where you want your chapter markers to be, you can use them as guides to place your chapter markers on the timeline.
ps. FCE supports up to 99 chapter markers in a sequence

This occurs when the number of errors reaches the number specified in MaximumErrorCount. Change the MaximumErrorCount or fix the errors." <o:p></o:p>
I increased the Max number of errors on the Execute Project Task "Load ARZ Demographics to Stage" to 100 but I still get the same error
-- Apparently, the max number it's seeing (1) is not on this task but I also changed the numbers of the package that this task calls. I am flummoxed as to where SSIS is seeing that the limit of 1 is set.

Max number of chars in process message MSEL?

Hi, what is the max number of characteristics can be used in process message category's MSEL table? Right now, I am using more than 99 characteristics and I get a short dump DYNPRO_FIELD_CONVERSION. Is it really limited to 99 characteristics and if it is true, is there an OSS note to change it to allow more than 99?

Max number of shots in a panorama

Does anyone know the max number of shots allowed in a panorama stitching? Have 17 shots from D4S and it shows a doc size of 176M/1.27G but only the first 4 shots are showing up in the edit window. Will I have to stitch these as groups and then do a final stitch?

I've never hit one and I've done some pretty big calculations (ie: CASE with lots of options). Whatever it is - if there is one - it must be pretty big.

Max. number of chapters in FCE?

I have a FCE project with about 20 chapter markers but after the first twelve chapter markers, the remaining markers end up further down in the timeline rather than on top like the first 12. They also appear to be pink instead of green like the first 12. When I export to quicktime and import that to idvd 6, only the first 12 chapter markers show up.
Is twelve the max. number of chapter markers in FCE; and if so, what are the pink markers? I can't seem to find anything about it in the help manual.
p.s. I will have FC Pro and idv Pro in a few days. Will that solve my problem?

Max number of caracters in subtitles in Encore? Trying to avoid "Subtitle too complex to render"

Does anyone know what the max number of caracters in a single Encore subtitle "string" is if you want to avoid the "Subtitle too complex to render" error message?
I have a project with one subtitle layer, concisting of 483 "subtitle strings" in it and i'm getting the "...too complex..." message when rendering.
But instead of spending endless hours of trying to guess which one(s) cause the problem, i'd love to have an answer like "Don't ever tap in more than XX caracters in a single subtitle"
And now we are at it:
I'm let to believe that the distance between the individual "subtitle strings" also can release the "...too complex..." message. Any clues as to what the minimum number of frames has to be between the individual "strings" in order to avoid the error message (the project in question is a "classic" DVD-project - not BluRay)?

Well, just in case anyone else is stuck with the same problem and comes across this old string: After several tests I have come up with this solution that works for me - and perhaps for others too:
Notice that the subtitle borders are set differently than the default settings. The settings I use keeps the subtitle string just inside the outer safe area border where as the default settings are inside the inner safe area border and thus resulting in shorter subtitle lines.
You can choose a different typeface and size if you like. These matters doesn't seem to have much influence on the "_too complex_" issue.
With these settings I can write a maximum of 60 characters, including spaces, per line. Remember to make forced line breaks between the lines, if your subtitle string is longer than one line. Otherwise Encore will see what appears to be two lines as one long line exceeding the max number of characters and thus resulting in a "_too complex_" error.
And as for number of frames between subtitle strings: Minimum 5 frames - but Encore will automaticly warn you if you place text strings closer than that.

Document number of Planned cost booked on Project system

I have a requirement wherein i need to find out the document number of the cost booked in Project and WBSE. Like for eg in Report S_ALR_87013532, there is planned cost.
also in the same report S_ALR_87013532, we have OVERALL VALUES and TOTAL OF YEARS. What is the difference between the two ?

Overall is derived from the Overall values planned for the project (at the overall level) - look at config of your planning profile - transaction OPSB.
Total of Annual is the sum of the all annual values planned for the project.
To get the document number, you will need to go to the line items. To go there, select the WBS element or whichever level you want to drill down to and then goto menu Goto -> Line items. You will be given a list of line items available (actual, plan, etc...). Once you get in there, you should be able to select the "Document number" field from the available fields or click on the "Document" item to view the posting document.

Max number of Hits Account Identification

Hi all,
we are currently having the problem in IC that when somebody try to identify an account of an BP with more that 100 related sold to parties, that no account is displayed because of the standard max number of hits 100.
I have found the path to customize this in the SPRO but this sentence in the SAP help is making me some headache:
The higher the number you enter here, the more results the system will search for, and in turn, the more performance is affected. The maximum number of hits that the system allows is 100, which is also the default value.
I understand the point of the performance, but does this mean that the performance is also affected the account identification of the other BP with less than 100 related sold to parties?
Can anybody help in this issue?
We are working on CRM 5.0.

The bug of nothing displayed if over 100 accounts are found is solved with [SAP note 1467929|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1467929.]
The code you are referring to is:
IF bpident_profile-max_hits IS INITIAL.
max_hits = 100.
ELSE.
max_hits = bpident_profile-max_hits.
ENDIF.
It means that, if blank, 100 hits is considered. You can modify the customizing up to 255 results since that is the limit of accounts to be found.

"max number of thread"

We are running a java web app on a Ubuntu Oracle WebLogic server version 10.3.3.
The java web app performs long polls with open tcp socket to keep the client connection open. The clients are long polling the WebLogic at 30 seconds.
Currently we are not able to maintain stability for greater than 24 hours with approximately 200 simultaneous sessions on WebLogic server. Session to me is active client/server tcp connection. We have re-written our application to use continuations, but we are seeing ConcurrentModificationException errors in performance testing.
Is there any setting in WebLogic for “max number of thread” that can handle?

First, WebLogic since 9.0 has a self-tuning thread pool where WLS will automatically grow and shrink the number of threads based on some internal algorithms. I'm not aware of a hard limit so theoretically there is no max thread count as long as the JVM has memory and WLS thinks more threads will help. You can read up on it here:

Practically, I wouldn't expect more than several hundred threads to be helpful.
As for your situation, how does WLS become unstable? Out of memory, out of file descriptors, errors on new requests, etc. I think you're going to have to use some JVM tools to see what happens to your JVM over time. Is there a memory leak somewhere, is it non-heap memory, etc. JRockit Mission Control is helpful if running on JRockit. If you're on Sun Hotspot, them presumably you can use some of the Hotspot tools. You'll want to compare the state of the JVM towards the beginning of your load test, but after a slight warm-up period with a snapshot after the load test has been running for a long period of time.

Max number of buffers

For fast image grabbing I wand to store images in the memory of the PC. To do this I use LL ring buffering. The max number of buffers is limited by Labview to 50. I tried to increase this by MAX >>Tools >> IMAQ (like suggested on the site) but Labview keeps setting it back to 50, also after rebooting. How can I get this to a higher value?

Like Jay had mentioned the limitation on the number of connection to server depends on the capability of your server.
You can get the maximum number of connections made to the server, number of active clients... etc details through Administration APIs.
'getServerStats' gives you the "total_connects", which is the maximum number of connections made to the server. "connected" property will return the number of active clients to your server at one point. It also has many more statistics for your reference. This api returns the overall information of the server. If you want to get the details for specific vhost, you can use getVHostStats or getActiveVHostStats. To get more details on Administration API, refer your pdf documentation on "Administration API", that gets installed in your system under "$Root\Flash Media Server\documentation\flashmediaserver_3.5_administrationAPI.pdf".
