Max processes issue (but not a processes parameter issue)

I am having ora-0020 max processes issue, but my max processes is set to 550, and I have a highwater mark of 132 processes

This is a 2 node RAC cluster, and this only happens on one of the nodes. Anyone every see anything like this ?? It looks like some sort of leak with process handles or something.

This does seem quite strange. What version are you running?
ORA-0020 does seem to be a problem at the instance level, not the underlying O/S.

You can reach REGUP by se11 and insert the document number that You can see by FBL1N but not during the payment.
Probably it is contained into a payment proposal (F110) and therefore You cannot pay it manually (to avoid double payment).
If You find it into REGUP table, You have two options:
1.pay it by F110
2. delete the payment proposal by F110 (menu> edit> proposal--> delete) and pay it manually.

Goods Issues but not invoiced

Hello forum, a question on any Sales/Billing reports people know of for goods that have been goods issued but are awaiting invoicing. We use POD processing and can get some reports but none with a financial value at an item level. We also use tcode VF04 to view pending deliveries to be invoiced but again doesnt show any epxected revenue and so was wondering if there are any other standard reports to give me this information?

Through standard TCodes VF04 and VF06, you can generate deliveries that are PGId but not invoiced but value will not flow there. For this, you need to develop a zee tcode considering the tables VBAP (for unit price) and LIPS (for material code and quantity PGId).

Firefox Hanging Problem, but not actually hanging [Security Issue?]

Reposting from a reply I made on another thread so that this might get more attention for people:
So I've been having this problem for the past couple days, after I installed the 4.0 Beta 12, but not immediately. I resorted to using IE8 until I could troubleshoot. Today I uninstalled and reinstalled, initially keeping my customizations, then again without. Upon installing the new RC I imemdiately had the same problem.
For me what goes wrong is Firefox will open correctly and begin to load a page or pages, and about 15 seconds in, usually after all loading is done, it will seemingly freeze, or hang rather. Seemingly completely unresponsive.
Here is the aha moment: I became fed up with this and was just trying to get to the troubleshooter's containing file or whatever, [so that I could delete the session restore javascripts, like the support page says to try for hangs]. It hang right before I was able to open the containing folder. Instead of trying to fix it or wait I immediately alt-f4ed it. But firefox remained, and to my surprise, it worked completely fine. Normally, when its hanging, any click on the window will just make a windows BING sound and be compeltely unresponsive. After attempted to close firefox, it actually worked fine.
This leads me to believe there is some masking window that makes firefox appear to be hanging, but in reality its working totally fine.
I've attempted to unmask this by dregding through process explorer, but so far to no avail. I'm no expert, but I figured if this board hasn't realized this yet someone can figure it out from here far better than I can.
Let me know when you figure it out to so I stop using IE. Even though Firefox functions after I alt-f4 the "mask", I don't know if the 'mask' is harming my system or giving me malware or what so I'd rather not fuck with it.

Run the Firefox program once as Administrator (right-click: Run as Administrator).<br />
If that doesn't help then do a clean reinstall.
Do a clean (re)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere (not in the Firefox program folder) and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

IPad 2 WiFi Range Issues (but not issues with connectivity when in range)

Okay. I hate to start a new thread when there are bunches of threads on the iPad 2 having WiFi problems (particularly with 5Ghz networks and also related to 4.3). Nonetheless, I'm not seeing anyone talking about range in these forums.
Issue: iPad 2 WiFi range is not as far as iPad 1 (with no cover on either).
Alternative Explanation: iPad 2 has difficulty connecting to Airport Express or Time Capsule extended networks.
Devices: iPad 2 3g, iPad 1 3g (iOS 4.3), iPhone 3gs (iOS 4.3), iPhone (iOS 3.2x), iMac, MacBook Pros, etc.
Network Router: Simultaneous Dual-Band Airport Extreme (latest version) set up with 2.4, 5 ghz and Guest Networks (each with their own name).
Network Extender: Airport Express (latest version) extending the 2.4 ghz network
Network Extender 2: Time Capsule (original, single band) extending the 2.4 ghz network
Longer Description: iPad 2 connected without an issue to the 5 ghz network and the 2.4 ghz network when it was in the same room as the Aiport Extreme. Didn't have any issues maintaining that connection.
However, the iPad 2 doesn't work in any of the farther rooms and can't see the network. iPad 1 and iPhones have no issues (and typically show 1 or two bars). I believe they typically are connecting through the Airport Express (but it could be the Time Capsule).
Given that the iPad 2 isn't even seeing the networks, I'm guessing it's a range issue, but hoping it's not.
Anyone else seeing this? Any fixes?

While it is possible that an Apple moderator (Apple host) could pass some information to an Apple development/support group, in practice this doesn't really seem to happen (at least often). I believe that the moderators are kept quite busy just administering the forums and keeping them under control (no spam, ads, abuse, etc.). I've never seen a post by an Apple host here or seen a technical correction to a post (and there is certainly a lot of incorrect information posted here).
Unfortunately, a lot of new posters here seem to think that they are talking directly to Apple and post bug reports, feature suggestions, complaints, etc. These would be much better submitted via the Apple feedback vehicle at http://www.apple.com/feedback. These are not anonymous, are directed to the appropriate product and provide an email contact for Apple to get back to the submittor if more detail is required.

PCI-6703 on MAX traditional daq but not on daqmx

Im using MAX 3.1.1 (with NI DAQmx 7.3.1f0) and its listing my device 6703 on the traditional daq list but not on the DAQmx. I'm trying to utilize the Express VI to use this card but since it does not apear on the list I can use it. I already tried F5 several times.

PCI-6703/6704 are supported by traditional nidaq, and nidaqmx 7.4 and higher.
They are not suppoeted by NidaqMx 7.3.
if you want to use Nidaqmx, upgrade to the latest NIdaq driver.

Not necessarily time machine issue but not sure where else?

I have a silverlining/keeper back up onto a Lacie 250GB rugged drive then my old 10.5 laptop got nicked and now I have a new one 10.6.2 , can I restore/migrate from this old setup Tried Lacie but not much good to date. I have imported old iphoto library(phew in to new version from a library copy on the disc without a hitch.? Help??

But, this would still not explain why the same code loads

XI to RFC processed successfully but not working

Hello,
I finally configured my RFC - XI - RFC async scenario.
If I go to SXMB_MONI the message is processes OK, the mapping is OK too because I can see the output payload data in the technical routing tab.
But, the destination RFC must change a DataBase table in the his R3 server and it didn't happened so something is wrong.
How can I know where is the problem? It looks like XI runs fine, then I think the problem is in R3 destination. How can I check if the RFC has been called?

Which RFC you are calling? Check if you need commit work after calling RFC.
Also you can check if messages are not stuck in XI trfc queue using transaction code :SM58.

The RFC it's a custom RFC and it has only one line code:
---> MODIFY ZTABLE FROM IT_TABLE.
IT_TABLE is the parameter from XI and ZTABLE is a custom transparent table. I've tested and it works fine.
I also checked SM58 in XI and nothing is there.
The RFC destination parameters are filled OK too, I've checked in SXMB_MONI from XI.
I don't know what else can I check

Process screen but not display

Hi all,
I want to process a screen logic in a module pool program screen but do not display it.
i.e. 10 --> 50 --> 100 (screen 50 should not be displayed, but just pass the values or process logic)

If i understood correctly,
variables which you created / used in screen 50 will be available across the program, so in first screen PAI call screen 3rd screen, but pass all the values (for the 2nd screen) before you call the 3rd screen.

Success but not Posted Process Scheduler

Hi all,
I just installed HCM 9.1 PT8.52, Demo DB, Oracle 11g Database and Windows server 2008.
I installed and configured the process scheduler (followed the steps) and created a windows service for it, that is 'Automatically started'.
When trying to run a process scheduler, I'm getting a run status 'Success' but the 'Distribution Status' is 'Not Posted'.
I suppose it is not finding the location or something?
What should I check?

The ReportDistAdmin role was missing so I added it.
I shut down process scheduler and re-run it, but I'm still getting 'Not Posted'
Is there any additional step to do before trying the reports?

And the password was missing in the default local node, I added it and it worked!

Processed successfully but not showing in the Payload

Hi guys,
My scenario is proxy to file.
when I execute this report pragram in the R/3, it was successful.
In the XI, generally we have three folders like SOAP body and SOAP HEADER and Pay loads in SXMB_MONI, display, but we not getting pay loads foders even thogh it showing successful flag.
can any body help me it very ergent.

By standard, for inbound (outgoing) async calls, it won't show the payload tab in last item of the pipeline (Response tab). Check the one before it (the "Receiver Grouping" tab), you will be able to check the payload there. However, it will show the payload at receiver determination runtime. If you want to check it after mapping (which happens at interface determination runtime), you'll need to check it in Adapter Engine message monitoring.
For outbound (incoming) async calls, you will be able to see the post-mapping payload in the Response pipeline tab. If you want to check the payload prior to the mapping, go either to the "Inbound Message" or the "Receiver Grouping" tabs in the pipeline.
As I've said, that is by standard. There are ways of showing the adapter pipeline in SXMB_MONI too, but that is another issue.

BPM Process deployed but not listed in Applications in BPM Workspace

Any idea on this? It seems to be deployed correctly based on the JDeveloper logs, and it seems I've set the organization settings to include the user/s I'm testing with. Have I missed something?

I have clients on networks that block port 25 so they can't get to our smtp server. If there is a write up on this already on how to change the Mail Server SMTP port to something else or add another port, please let me know. Thanks!

If you can't use VPN, then consider the provided web mail interface; redirect your activity to port 80 or to port 443. That'll likely work just fine, the https path will be secure, and it's supported.
But if you really want to try this (and I don't know how badly this might tear up your SMTP server environment, and I'm not in a position to test this locally right now), look for details on the [alternate SMTP port|http://mac007.com/?Tips:AlternateSMTPPorts] configuration process, or any of various other discussions around editing the /etc/postfix/master.cf file.
And in the case of the VPN or the alternate SMTP port, you're going to have to describe how to configure this. (I'd be tempted to implement an installer for this, if there was some control over what the SMTP clients involved here were.)

Data is being loaded from export datasource (8RL*****) ti 2 data targets
The overall QM status is red (says processing is overdue)
The details tab shows
Extraction: Error occurred
Transfer(IDoc and TRFC): Error occurred
Processing (Data packet): Error occurred
   -- Transfer rule: Error occurred
     Bewegungsdaten received.Processing being started
     Message missing(35676 records) : Transfer rule finished
Update rule (0 records):Missing messages
Update(0 new/0 changed): Missing message
Processing end: Missing message
I checked the LUW in SM58 but didnt find anything.
I checked infosource (PSA) - one request is in RED, but when i check the data in PSA there are no errors.
What should I do in this case?
What might be the excat error.

Check the DataSource in RSA3, if it is working fine and able to see the data in RSA3, there is no problem in DS level, then checl the Mappings and any routines in BW for that DS, if this is also fine then check the below options.
See Dumps in ST22, SM21 also.
Check RFC Connection between ECC and BW systems, i.e. RSA1-->Source System->Right Click on Source system and Check.
You must have the following profiles to BWREMOTE or ALEREMOTE users.So add it. Bcoz either of these two users will use in background to get extract the data from ECC, so add these profiels in BW.
S_BI-WHM_RFC, S_BI-WHM_SPC, S_BI-WX_RFC
And also check the following things.
1.Connections from BW to ECC and ECC to BW in SM59
2.Check Port,Partner Profiles,and Message Types in WE20 in ECC & BW.
3.Check Dumps in ST22, and SM21.
4.If Idocs are stuck i.e see the OLTP Idoc numbers in RSMO Screen in (BW) detials tab see in bottom, you can see OLTP Idoc number and take the Idoc numbers and then goto to ECC see the status in WE05 or WE02, if error then check the log else goto to BD87 in ECC and give the Idoc numbers and execute manually and see in RSMO and refresh.
5.Check the LUWs struck in SM58,User Name = * (star) and run it and see Strucked LUWs and select our LUW and execute manually and see in RSMO in BW.

What is going on with the Iphone4 home button. I see lots of people having issues, but not resolution. I am running 4.2, but based on what I have read, 4.3 does not help. Apple has to do something about this, as it is affecting lots of people.

What is going on with the Iphone4 home button locking up? I see lots of people having issues with the button becoming unresponsive, but no resolution.
Suggestions include:
Upgrade
Restrore
ReSync
Push harder,
etc.

No they do not and no it is not affecting a large portion of the user community.
If it is an actual hardware issue, the only fix is to repair or replace the hardware.
If it is a software issue, restoring as new will fix it.
