Memory Error for OVI Store in C5-03

Wen ever i try 2 install an app using OVI Store on my C5-03...It keeps saying " Memory full..plz,close some apps & try again "
Even though ,for first app 2 be downloaded,it's showing da same msg...I'm not able 2 download a single app using OVI Store...Can anyone found a solution 4 dis?...plz,help me

Try removing unwanted apps from your phone memory and keep it as free as possible. The memory low message is due to low RAM and sadly there hasn't been a complete solution for that. Before going into Ovi store clean your browser cache or reboot your phone and try downloading apps.

  • E5: phone memory error for 2days

when i was ready for installing apps. from nokia store, 99mb was free but show only 2mb left plz select another derive for install why...???? after 2  days the memory was clear seen 97.6mb free what may be the error on mobile.......!!!!!! plz reply or help us.bring new SW update fixing this type of problem.................!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

If you run Nokia's File Manager, how much free space does that show?  2 MB free or 97+ MB free?  If the error appears only with the Nokia Store, then it could be a bug.  I don't use the Ovi Store/Nokia Store app often, but installed the 1.16 update with the new name a few days ago.  I just tried downloading and installing a game on my E73, and that worked fine.  If the problem is only with the Store app, maybe you could try removing and reinstalling it?

  • N9 - Download error on ovi store

I tried to download some software (File Manager Beta and Battery Usage) but failed.
Ovi store showed "Can't install" "Unable to continue installation due to unresolved error".
I tried both WLAN and 3G but it failed in both way.
How can I install applications from Ovi store?

Hey Akiran! Welcome to the Nokia forums.
Initially, verify that the app has downloaded to your computer. You can do this by searching your computer for the app name as it may have downloaded to an unfamiliar location. If you cannot find the application, delete all files from Temporary internet files -folder, and try download again. You can empty the folder from Internet options:
    1. Close Nokia Ovi store
    2. Open Control panel > (Network and Internet - in Category view of Windows Vista and 7) > Internet options and select General -tab
    3. In Windows XP select Temporary Internet files > Settings > Views files. In Windows Vista and 7 select Browsing history > Settings > Views files
    4. Delete all files from the Temporary Internet files -folder (all offline content will be deleted)
Alternatively check that internet connection is working correctly and that firewall or antivirus application settings does not prevent downloads.
If you you are not able to download the application, please contact Nokia Care, and let us know the application you were trying to purchase and any error messages that were displayed. Check the Contact us -link up in this page for local Nokia Care details.
I hope this will solve your problem!

  • Virtual Memory Error when accessing store

I buy a lot from the store and I am unable to download or purchase since upgrading because of a constant virtual memory error popping up. This only occurs when I access the store. I have read trouble shooting procedures recommended by others on here but all have failed so far. I do know that it's not my system. I definitely hope this issue is remedied with an updated version soon.

I take it there is no current solution for this issue? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you in advance, John

  • Error message "Ovi store is currently not availabl...

    Hi all !
This is my first post and I hope you guys can help me...
I am trying to install SKYPE in my N95 (running V35.2.001 13-10-09, RM160) and when I try to open the link sent from the OVI Store via SMS directly to my phone I get the above mentioned error.
I also get the same error message if I try to open the OVI Store app icon in the phone.
I am connecting via WIFI which works fine so it is not a connection issue.....
When I tried to download the SKYPE app directly from the skype.com/m site using my N95 I receive a SKYPE version S60_ V5.0  1.10(7) which would appear to be not compatible as the N95 is S60 V3
Any help in trying to solve these two issues will be much appreciated.
    With thanks,

  • Error in ovi store

Why the ovi store of my phone is not opening?

    Hello Kurmi
    Thank you for posting!
Simple steps that you can try:
    1. Switch your phone off and then remove the battery.  After a few seconds, put the battery in and switch your phone on.
    2. Make sure you have the latest version of Nokia Store, you can download the latest version by going to your phone's web browser and then type in store.ovi.mobi
    3. Restore the original factory settings as instructed in your phone's user guide.

  • E90 support for Ovi store

    Nokia,
when will you support the E90?

That Download! APplikation (or just Applikation) 3.1.736 is the same as the one built into the E90 firmware 300.34.84 on my phone (*#0000# shows FW). Check your phone Menu/Download!/Options/Application/About. There was a stand alone Download! Application which you could download at Nokia when they transitioned between Mosh for Nokia and Download! to the Ovi Store. It is Dowload! Version 3.2.818. It works slightly better* during changes. Of course, the purpose of Download! is simply to supply the Ovi Store Client. And the Ovi Store Client allows you the freedom to download application for your own personal experimentation - an example is Facebook for E71/E72 - unlike the web-based Ovi Store, which tends to block a lot. I wonder what happens with Windows Live Messenger IM because it doesn't show up in Download! any more. You can still only get it at some unrelated symbian site. I have no idea about the sms from Ovi Store. My only guess there is to try to pickout the application from the sms and search for it in the Ovi client. Like this one I tried from my pc (send to phone): Archie_ has shared this Facebook for E71/E72 with you from the Ovi Store. Enjoy! http://store.ovi.mobi/content/......

  • Cloud based storage for Ovi Store?

I just read about the Ovi Store keeping purchases for only 12 months? Seems unbelievable that it
would be that way. How about Nokia giving us Nokia users a minimum of 2GB of cloud storage so that the purchases can be backed up to and restored when necessary. At this point I can only back it up locally into my hard disk as a .nbu file.
The Ovi Store stopped allowing me to send a app (download to PC is broken) to my hard disk for later install. What options do we Nokia users have at this point?

Google drive.   However dont consider vital data or archives for use IN cloud based storage.
There is no such thing as a "cloud" reductively, its just anonymous server farms.
    Cloud based storage
    Drawbacks:
    1. Cloud storage can only be quasi-possessed.
    2. No genuine true security and privacy of data.
    3. Should never be considered for vital data storage or especially long-term.
    4. *Level-0 security of your vital data.
    Advantages:
    1. Quick, easy and cheap storage location for simplex files for transfer to keep on hand and yet off the computer.
    2. Easy source for small-file data sharing.

    Hi Hussein,
I created another user test1 of group dba and ran java -Xmx2048M -version. It worked with out error.
Then i found the only difference between test1 and applprod is ulimit -s set to unlimited in applprod but not set in test1
I removed ulimit -s unlimited for applprod the executed
    java -Xmx2048M -version
    it worked fine.
But i guess ulimit -s unlimited is a pre-requisite for running R12 in solaris??
    What shoud i do
    Please suggest.

I tried downloading new maps for my 5800XpressMusic via Ovi Suite but it reported 'Internal error. Please try again later' - despite my functioning maps on the phone Ovi Suite cannot detect any maps, let alone adding new ones in.

    Any insight?

  • Out of memory error for large recordings:

    Hi,
My workflow process takes input as a list. It loops through the workflow for all the items in the list. If my list contain 4 items, there will be 3*7= 21 steps when I invoke the process. I can able to check my recordings for debugging.
If I give 5 inputs, It takes around 5*7 = 35 steps in the workflow. If I try to play the recording, i see the error: java heap space: Out of memory exception. I changed my space to Xmx1024m in workbench.ini. I also did: java -Xms<initial heap size> -Xmx<maximum heap size> (Q1: do we need to restart the JBoss after we do the second step? ).
Q2: My system is Windows7 with 4GB RAM. I have liveCycle 8.2 with SP2. JBoss & MySql. Do I need to set this java RAM size in any of our JBoss server files?
Q3: Is there any file to set the maximum permissible steps for a process recording? If so, please let me know. It would be a great help.
    Thanks,
    Chaitanya

If the size of the documents you are adding as input are very large this could result in OOM errors so that is something to consider.
Some other things to try are as follows:
    1. Increase memory allocated by JBoss by another 200 - 300 M as per the following documentation on the web:
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/9.0/workbenchHelp/help.html?topic=000097&topic=00183 7
    2. Read the following sections of the Workbench Help which can be found on the web and describes how to limit your recording storage space used:  http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/9.0/workbenchHelp/help.html?topic=000097&topic=00106 0
I would suggest increasing your maxNumberOfRecordingEntries to about 200.

Works here and the cause has nothing to do with the Opera deal. This was a bug in the Qt framework which got unveiled with the SSL POODLE attack. User msmatrix has to go for Nokia Belle Refresh or the patched Nokia Suite to continue to use the Nokia Store. In that mentioned thread, we are going double-check this together, and why msmatrix has not received Nokia Belle Refresh yet.

I consider it absurd that a billion dollar corporation such as Oracle has to rely on the oem purchase of the Orion product to save it's java ass. It consider it doubly absurd that the subsequent marketing push of said product can at once be so full of hype and so lacking in technical support as to be the mark of a corporation gone mad.
Thankyou for your "Orion support" response to my problem, a problem completely ignored by The J2EE "team" at Oracle.
Did you know that this OC4J is at once god's gift to J2EE deployment and also "early adopter technology" without support?
Did you know that Oracle Marketing is pushing OC4J as an answer to the market leader BEA, and yet everywhere on this forum there are problems about deployment that are unanswered by tech support, answered with the "unsupported" tag line, or answered by links to documentation that is incorrect?
Kinda makes you wonder if the 20 thousand dollar price tag to get the OEM'd Orion server in 9ias, which originally sold for 1500$ with better documentation from Orion, is a good purchase decision.
NOT that my complete waste of time bashing out these details isn't A LOT of fun while I'm struggling to deliver production ready code under blazing time to market considerations! NO! I LOVE TO WASTE MY TIME, AND MY CLIENTS MONEY! THAT'S HOW WE'RE ALL SUCCESSFULL IN THIS BUSINESS, RIGHT?

    Mark -
Perhaps Oracle support doesn't want to here this, but the best information for OCJ4 is available either by scanning the mailing list at www.orionserver.com or looking at www.orionsupport.com - a site developed by users of Orion with no actual association with the vompany. I've been working with the app-server for over a year now and have certainly been frustrated at the lack of documentation - and of course Oracle hasn't improved it. Oracle should have spent much more time training their technical staff before giving it to the marketing chumps to run with. I believe that the move of Oracle and Orion is a good one from a technical perspective however - I am over the major bump in the Orion learning curve and I absolutely love the product - but I'm not sure that the Oracle staff are over that (what can be) tough first part of the curve. Hopefully they are all hunkered down with Karl and Magnus from Orion trying to learn all the required stuff.
    Cheers
    Ray
