Menu bar button hyperlink to open a new page?

I want to know if there is a way to add a hyperlink to a Menu bar button to open a new page showing a pdf file?

To open url on button click, you can use the following example, that I used in one of my cases...
Z P/L analysis
    ls_button-text     = 'P/L analysis monitor'.
    ls_button-tooltip = 'P/L analysis monitor'.
    lv_string1 = 'javascript:window.open( "'.
    lv_string2 = '" );'.
    CONCATENATE lv_string1
    lv_url2
    lv_object_id
    lv_string2
    INTO lv_string3.
    ls_button-on_client_click = lv_string3.
    ls_button-page_id = me->component_id.
    ls_button-enabled = abap_true.
    APPEND ls_button TO rt_buttons.
    CLEAR ls_button.
Comments:
- lv_string3 represents the URL
- lv_url2 contains the url of bsp component, which you can build manualy or read from any table with select single statement
- lv_object_id represents the id of opportunity which you can read from BOL or with one of crm_order_read function modules

When I load Firefox, the default search engine goes to AVG Search. I'd like to change it so that the default search engine on the search bar is Google. In addition, when I one a new page, the new page home page defaults to AVG Search. I'd like opening a new page to default to Google. My initial home page goes to the Wall Street Journal, which I want to keep, but want to change for the search bar and when a new page is opened to Google.

Hi,
I created a button and on click of the button it should open a new page based on a few flag conditions.There are 4 URL's which are stored in a standard table.Please let me know how i can open the page by using the respective URL and then appending the opportunity value to it.

All of a sudden I can no longer open a new tab using either the icon on the tab bar, the keyboard short cut or the File menu option. I can open a new tab ONLY by clicking on a bookmark or link.

This issue can be caused by the Ask<i></i>.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

Can I add a button next to the location bar (just like the Home-button) that will open a new tab?

In Firefox 3 there was a button that would open a new tab. This button was next to my location bar (next to the home, refresh, etc buttons), and also usable when I didn't have any tabs open (unlike the + on the tabbar, which is only there when I turn on my tabbar).
Although there is a button I can add that will open a new window, I would like to know if it is possible to have similar button that will open a new tab.

There's a New Tab button in the Customize Palette, just move it to where you want it.

Middle-click or click the scroll-wheel on a hyperlink has always opened a '''new Tab'''. Any chance you had an add-on that changed that action, and now that add-on is disabled or incompatible?

Flash menu bar's hyperlink doesn't work after imported into dreamweaver

I have major problems when I tried to import a flash menu bar with hyperlink (created in flash) into dreamweaver. I have 5 buttons in the same flash banner file and each button is supposed to have its unique hyperlink. None of these 5 hyperlinks is working, but it works fine if run by the .swf file alone. What could I have done wrong in flash or dreamweaver?

Cannot open favourites using the Firefox tag that usually opens up the menu and a new page.. Now I get the dropdown menu but cannot open a new page, losing the homepage every time I explore, can you say WHY? all other versions worked fine!

I cannot open a new page from the Firefox favorites menu, it worked before in other versions and this new 5.1 version, but stopped working a few days ago, uninstalled, downloaded a fresh program.. same problem exists. I usually leave my 'Home Page' as a stable page and just open 'new' pages for i.e. Google, Internet Banking etc. the '+' sign on my home page or other loaded pages does not operate, hate having to now constantly sign in to my hotmail home page if and when I open new pages, can you help?

How to stop multiple auto-switching to address bar every time I open a new tab and try to type something anywhere outside of address bar? Like something just wants me to use that embedded search when u type something not-web-address in address bar and hit enter. And the most ridiculous thing is that it happens repeatedly on like every second, like I just move down from address bar and start typing again, but then again it switches me to address bar, and 3, 4 times like that. And the result is also that I can't see the address of that page.
I think its has something to do with my AVG antivirus, because this started the same time some AVG Nation started to appear in every new tab i open (and thats also irritating me, I read about it here on support.mozilla.org and it seems that the only solution is to completely reinstall Firefox, but I dont want to lose all my settings) but when i type something in address bar and hit enter it opens the search results in Google.
Please try to help me, I like Firefox but I must switch to Chrome until I fix this problem.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox 3.6 that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
* Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
* Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons

I search how to open a new page when i click on a button of a table view. I already tried to use navigate connector but i have an error when I compiled it (flash doesn't support). Do you know a workaround or tips ?

When I try to follow a hyperlink, Firefox opens a new window that stays blank.; also I can't download a hyperlinked file.

I recently bought a laptop that is equipped with Windows 7. I needed new drivers for my Canon printer and was able to locate the new software on their website. When I tried to activate the hyperlink, Firefox opened a new window with the proper address in the "window". however the window stayed blenk. Similar actions with IE yielded desired results.
I got the same "dead end" when I tried to download a form from Mozilla; again IE worked fine.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Can't stop hyperlink opening in new page

I've got active hyperlinks that link to other pages within my site. Most of them don't open in a new page, but a couple of them do. I've no idea why. The 'Open in new page' check box isn't enabled when linking to internal pages, only external ones. How do I prevent the link opening in a new page?

Solved! The hyperlinks were images. They were copied from other pages, where they linked to external sites. In that incarnation, they were set to open in a new page. I had to convert them back to external links, uncheck the new page box, then revert them to internal links. They now work fine.

Does any version of InDesign let you set hyperlinks to open in new window?

I'm converting some InDesign books to pdf and epubs and my client wants the hyperlinks to open in new window when these files are viewed in browsers. so far no version I've tried has this capability.

It must be done in Acrobat. Ask in the Acrobat forums.

Take the function code of the buttons which you do not want to display. Pass into an internal table, code it like:
SET PF-STATUS <'PFXX'> EXCLUDING <INT TABLE NAME>
Please check the documentation for int table's type.
