Merge multiple PDF files
How to merge multiple PDF files with its corresponding review comments and stamps, which has stored as FDF files in WebDAV server?
Bring each FDF file into a corresponding PDF.
Use Acrobat to merge the PDF files into a new, separate PDF.

Merging Multiple PDF Files in C# using Acrobat 7.0
I'm trying to merge multiple pdf files into one pdf file. Does anyone have sample or psuedo code for this?
Basicly, there has not much changed since version 5 so you can use also vers. 8 SDK / IAC section.
The command you to use is "insert", where the first page has to be opened and the other pages will be inserted.
If you google for PdDoc.insert you may get tons of examples and maybe also in C.
If you use Acro-Javascript via IAC you may find an example direct in the AcroJs helpfile.

Merging multiple pdf files not available
I want to merge multiple PDF files into one PDF file. I used to be able to do it under file>create pdf, but ever since my computer was re-built, that option is no longer under the file tab. Was this something extra that you had to pay for, or do I have to do something to get this add in. Thank you in advance
Yeah you need one of the acrobat family. To be specific, Acrobat Standard, Acrobat 9 Pro or Acrobat Extended
They have 30 day trial on adobe.com. But check first the system requirements so that it won't mess up your computer. -
Error Message When Merging Multiple PDF Files into One PDF File
Good Morning,
I have a problem with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. I am trying to merge/combine multiple PDF files into one PDF file, but I keep receiving this error message:
Does anyone have a fix for this? Thank you!To fix:
Provide a unique name for each form field. This includes the individual PDFs fields. As you intend to combine/merge no field name in each of the individual PDFs can be the same.

Merge multiple PDF files in ABAP
Hi,
I have the following scenario.
1: Quality Certificate from SAP gets generated once we do the PGI as a .pdf document. It is a SAPScript output document that is converted as a .pdf file.
2: We have some more supporting documents that are stored as .pdf files in a SAP trusted fileshare.
What I want to do is, take the .pdf file from 1 and then take all the .pdf files from 2 , merge them into one .pdf file and send it to our customer.
We do not use document management system, do not have an EPS program etc.
I would appreciate sharing your thoughts with me.
Thanks,
Girish
Please note : We are on Version 4.0BHello,
thanks for your answer. I looked at the thread you indicated too. However, in our scenario one is a SAPScript output and second file is a static .pdf file already residing on a file share.
This is what I tried but it fails:
a. SAPScript generates an OTF file
b. OTF file is converted to .pdf file (internal table output)
c. Open the static file on file share using open dataset in binary mode.
d. Read dataset into an internal table.
e. Combine the internal table from b and d.
f. Write to a pdf file in binary mode.
When I try to open this file in adobe, i get a message that the file is damaged. It looks like the control commands get messed up when I just add b and d. b has a start/end controls, d has a start/end controls. So just merging the internal tables is messing the file. I am not sure how manipulate the internal tables b and d by setting the start/end right before writing it to a pdf file (I am also not sure if this is the right way and it will work!).
Thanks,

Outlook 2003
If you are using Outlook 2003, follow these steps:
Click My Computer, and then double-click drive C.
On the File menu, click New, and then click
Folder.
Name the folder temp0.
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click
OK.
Locate and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security\
In the right pane, double-click OutlookSecureTempFolder.
In Value Data field, type C:\temp0\ and then click
OK.
Exit Registry Editor.
Restart the computer.
Try this and make the comment
I used this on Outlook 2007. Also used the "let us fix it for you" link in the help section after backing up the registry and everything is working, at least for now.
Hope this helps others! -
Concatenate multiple pdf files into one single file
hi,
Could any one help me with a code "combining or merging multiple pdf files selected from the browser into one single document" to send it as one single request to the printer?
Thanks ,It is called the Big Faceless PDF library.
they have a free trial download.
in regards to doing it yourself, of course.
but this is a pure java library that can do what you want without you having to re-invent the wheel (for a price of course).
they have excellent technical support as well, usually solving your problem within a day or so. -

How do i combine multiple pdf file into a single pdf file?
how do i combine multiple pdf files into a single pdf file?
The thread was started in early March and it's Mid-April, I know this very well. The OP of this thread posted a very common and simple question or maybe he/she would have resolved this. For an Adobe Acrobat user it's not at all difficult to combine multiple PDF files into one. But to combine PDF files full version of Adobe Acrobat is mainly required, otherwise PDF files can't be combined. For example, I'm using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. These simple steps are mainly required to combine PDF files:
Open Adobe Acrobat.
Click on Combine and click on Merge files into a single PDF.
A window will be appearing, click on Add Files and select the PDF files you want to combine.
Arrange the selected files in any order with the help of Move Up and Move Down button.
Now click on Combine File and the selected PDF files will be combined within a few seconds.
A new PDF file will be created. Click on Save As and name this new PDF file. Then, click on Save.
A new PDF file will be created and all the selected PDF files are combined in it. The steps shown above might be different in other versions of Adobe Acrobat. Other than this, some third-party PDF merge software are also available. Most of them are available with a demo version for free evaluation. I've heard much about SysInfoTools PDF Merge software on other forums and directories and it's demo version is freely available. One may check its demo version if Adobe Acrobat (full version) is not available.

HI Forum
I am a newbie to both Acrobat and VB,
Basically a perl Developer,
I have created a application to Merge multiple PDF's into a Single PDF, but the problem I am facing is some pages are missed during Merging
For Example
I have 4 pdf's (1.pdf, 2.pdf, 3.pdf, 4.pdf), each PDF has 2 pages, totally 8 pages,
When i merge using my application, it is getting collapsed and then merged
Here is my Code
<code>
Imports System.IO
Imports Acrobat
Public Class Form1
Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
MergePDF()
End Sub
Sub MergePDF()
Dim gPDDoc1 As AcroPDDoc
Dim gPDDoc2 As AcroPDDoc
Dim gPDDoc3 As AcroPDDoc
Dim gPDDoc4 As AcroPDDoc
gPDDoc1 = CreateObject("AcroExch.PDDoc")
gPDDoc2 = CreateObject("AcroExch.PDDoc")
gPDDoc3 = CreateObject("AcroExch.PDDoc")
gPDDoc4 = CreateObject("AcroExch.PDDoc")
Dim chk1 = gPDDoc1.Open("D:\sathish\1.pdf")
Dim chk2 = gPDDoc2.Open("D:\sathish\2.pdf")
Dim chk3 = gPDDoc3.Open("D:\sathish\3.pdf")
Dim chk4 = gPDDoc4.Open("D:\sathish\4.pdf")
Dim mergefile As Boolean
Dim numpg1, numpg2, numpg3, numpg4
numpg1 = gPDDoc1.GetNumPages()
numpg2 = gPDDoc2.GetNumPages()
numpg3 = gPDDoc3.GetNumPages()
numpg4 = gPDDoc4.GetNumPages()
MsgBox(numpg1 & numpg2 & numpg3 & numpg4)
mergefile = gPDDoc1.InsertPages(numpg1 - 1, gPDDoc2, 0, 1, 0)
mergefile = gPDDoc1.InsertPages(numpg2 - 1, gPDDoc3, 0, 1, 0)
mergefile = gPDDoc1.InsertPages(numpg3 - 1, gPDDoc4, 0, 1, 0)
Dim savemergefile As Boolean
savemergefile = gPDDoc1.Save(1, "D:\sathish\merged.pdf")
End Sub
End Class
</code>
I Dont know how to give the correct page end to merge,
Thanks in Advance for your Kind replies,
Thanks & Regards
