Merging multiple computers with the same account

Hello,
One of our clients has a home in Belgium (a PC) and one in the United States. They have an older computer there that is connected to the internet and has a several year old iTunes library.
The one in the US (Macbook Pro) has newer content. They would like them to be able to be merged. Is this possible? Will home sharing allow us to do this if we setup a VPN? Anyone know?

Subject to the restrictions set forth in Section 2.1.4, the primary user of the Computer on which the Software is installed under Section 2.1 (“Primary User”) may install a second copy of the Software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable Computer or a Computer located at his or her home, provided that the Software on the portable or home Computer is not used at the same time as the Software on the primary Computer.
So, while it CAN be installed on more than one computer, they may not both be in use at the same time.

HT1657 Can I transfer a standard definition rental between two computers with the same account?

So, I rented a movie on my work computer and haven't had time to watch it just yet and it's expiring in 4 days. So, naturally, reading the documentation here that says the following:
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
I moved the rental to my MacBook Pro, expecting to be able to watch it there. However, when I add it to my iTunes library on my MBP (with the same iTunes account), I get an error saying that it isn't authorized to play the content.
What's the deal? Am I missing something, or doesn't it seem like I should be able to transfer it between computers? Do I need to delete the one off my work computer first?

Sorry but no. Rentals cannot be transferred from one computer to another. As the instructions said, you can only move a rental from a computer to a iOS-based device or back from that device to the computer on which the rental was first downloaded.

Can I use multiple computers with the same iPod?

Hello all, I own a desktop computer, and just recently bought my first laptop. I have iTunes already installed and my iPod synced on the desktop. Now I just installed iTunes on the laptop, and want to sync the iPod on the laptop also, so I can have two computers synced with the same iPod. Can that be done? Any info is greatly appeciated, thank you.

Can I upgrade a computer from Snow Leopard to Lion by using an already upgraded account? I have multiple computers on the same account.

I already have an upgraded desktop, but I also have a MacBook Pro that I want to update from 10.6.8 to 10.7. They are registered under the same account, but the MacBook Pro is under a diferent email. Is there a way I can use the software I have on my desktop to upgrade the MacBook Pro, or do I need to take it to an Apple Store?

I have multiple Imacs with the same account at different locations...

I have 4 Imacs, all the same generation running OS X and an Ipad that I use for work. Each are located in a different location. Is there a way to sync them all so that when I put photos or documents in one, it will send to each of them? I have Google Drive and Dropbox, but I would prefer a more integrated option directly in Apple. I heard that more sharing options were available with the latest OS, but I don't want to necessarily update if it still will not accomplish my overall goals. I'm sure this has been asked, but when I search I seem to find nothing but differentiating between 2 Ipads, or 1 Mac with multiple accounts instead of the other way around. Any help appreciated.

How can I see up AppStore/Software Updates for multiple computers using the same account?

I have several computers in my household which all use the same App Store account for purchases & software updates. How can I view all those installs while not being in front of all computers?

Using Lightroom on multiple computers with the same images

When using lightroom on my PC I download the images to an external hard drive. When I am away from home can I use lightroom on my laptop and down load images to the same external hard drive and process them and have lightroom on the PC locate them when I return home.

Yep. If you're regularly going to be multiple machines, the easiest solution is to put the catalog file on the external hard drive, and just open that same catalog on both machines. The alternative is to use import from catalog when you get back to your main computer, to copy the holiday photo settings into your main catalog.

Sync multiple computers with the same mailbox

Hello all,
I am using a Bold and syncing with MS Outlook 2007. I have it on both a desktop and my laptop (laptop being the first computer I used). I have tried to sync but am having issues with the calendar as I am getting multiple items, some items are being deleted randomly and others aren't syncing.
Any suggestions please? I have tried changing the default device and that made it worse!

Will iTunes 10 & iTunes 11 work together? If not, how do I combine 2 libraries with the same account?

My 2005 iMac (which can't be updated to Snow Leopard or Mountain Lion and so is stuck with iTunes 10) has thousands of my songs, over 80GB of music mostly from CDs and other uploads/downloads. In 2008 we got an iMac for the family room; somehow although we have the same iTunes account for that computer, we started fresh with no tracks, and built up its own library for family use. Now we've bought two iPhones which aren't recognized by the '08 iTunes/Mac OS, so I want to upgrade the '08 iMac (the only one I can) and I have the Snow Leopard software to do so.
But I'm concerned that once the two computers have different versions of iTunes, I will lose the ability to home-share the music library from the '05 iMac on the '08 iMac, and because of that I won't be able to store any of my older Mac's tracks on the iCloud or access them on my iPhone. (Of course I don't want to have to pay for 80GB+ on the cloud!)
Has anyone got two versions of iTunes on two computers with the same account and are you able to home-share together and access tracks on your iPhones from an older version?
What do Apple users recommend? I'm thinking my best bet might be to combine the two libraries, which as I said are on the same account, but I don't know how to go about doing this. How much time would it take with 80GB? (I could probably do without 15% or 20% of those tracks, but it's still a lot, I don't know if it's instantaneous or if it uploads each track one at a time, I can imagine that taking two days.)
The older Mac's tracks, the 80GB, are the ones I really want, it took years to collect and upload all that, finding photos for some of the more esoteric albums/songs, etc. The newer Mac only has 2.5GB in its iTunes and I guess it wouldn't be the worst thing if I had to reload those, if the 80GB library had to wipe out the 2.5GB one.

By the way, technologically, I have the '05 iMac hooked up to a 1st Gen Time Capsule and the '08 iMac getting WiFi from that.

Thank you for replying. Both of the accounts are Admin accounts. The Libraries are kept in the user/music/itunes/itunes media folder on each account. However, I do use multiple iTunes Libraries on my Account1. One of the Libraries I use in Account1 is on a separate internal HD. However, the other Libraries I use in Account1 are stored in user/music/itunes/itunes media folder on the main HD (which hosts both Account1 and Account2). It doesn't seem to matter whether I am using an iTunes Library on an external drive or the main drive in Account1, I still get the same problem: only account1 library will load. AppleTV sees that the Account2 Library is there, but it won't load it.

Sorry to ask, how do I do it please. I have my first ipod with the same account on both computers that have different libraries one of which I am building now. Do I have to de-authorise my original ipod on the computer that I want to use my new ipod on with the new library and then register my new ipod. I would rather do this than have 2 libraries on one itunes, but keep the same account details.

Its not possible for the same development object. Only 1 person can access an object at a time and if mutiple users modify an object new TASKs are created under the same TRANSPORT.
Only after releasing the tr you can create a new tr on the same object.

I've tried to sync with 2 pc. Took a backup of everything first, on pc nr 1. Deleted the contents of the browser and Outlook on the PC nbr 2. Then synced up to icloud. works great.

We have a user and when she get an item assigned to her she sees the following alert:
"There are multiple users with the same display name USERNAME and at least one of them does not have read permissions to some of the files"
Now I looked in the database and when I run the following query with the username:

Then I get 2 same usernames back, How can I get rid of one of them ? When I access TFS trough the portal I only find 1 occurence of this user.
We use VS2013 and TFS2013 update 4

I have multiple devices on the same account, can I increase my cloud allowance without paying extra?

Each device gives 5gig but multiple devices on the same account don't increase the cloud space. Do Apple recognise this and help?
