Message-driven bean destination name not found error
Hi,
I am getting this error when I attempt to deploy the Warehouse message-driven bean example/tutorial. I followed the steps in the JMS Queue Simple Sample Application included with the server to set up the queue and queue factory, but I don't think the app. is even getting that far. I can not figure out why I'm get this error. I have looked at everything I can think of, but I'm obviously missing something. Here is the error from the server log.

My bean name is Warehouse, jms/Warehouse is the JNDI and is mapped to MDBPack.WarehouseBean.class. MDBPack is in the classpath on the server. I guessed that the physical destination name was WarehouseQueue, but using Warehouse produced the same result. Please let me know if there is anything I could be missing. TIA

Hi,
You have not created the jms destination queue object
jms/Warehouse
Your server logs says it cannot find the destination queue object.It has got nothing to do with jndi name of your bean
Create jms destination queue object using
asadmin>create-jms-resource instance <instance_name> resourcetype javax.jms.Queue --property imqDestinationName=<NAme> jms/Warehouse
Then use list-jms-resources <instance_name> to
find if jms/Warehouse destionation queue object has been created.

Message-driven bean CMT can not be supported
Hi,
Im trying to use IBM MQSeries 5.3 with S1AS7. The AS and MQ run under W2K SP3. At first I had no problem with deploying and running samples. I used C:\Sun\AppServer7\samples\ejb\mdb\simple\
I was able to put a test message into MQSeries queue and I saw it was processed by the MDB
Then I decided to change <transaction-type> from Bean to Container and I added <assembly-descriptor> where I set <trans-attribute> as Required.
Here is my new ejb-jar.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE ejb-jar PUBLIC '-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Enterprise JavaBeans 2.0//EN' 'http://java.sun.com/dtd/ejb-jar_2_0.dtd'>

</ejb-jar>

If I use internal AS JMS I dont have any trouble. Everything works fine.
Why it is possible to use MDB CMT with internal AS JMS provider?
What should I do to create MDB CMT with IBM MQSeries?
Alexei GladkovHi Alexei,
Sun ONE Application Server 7 does not support CMT MDBs with 3rd party JMS providers. (As you note, BMT MDBs work with MQSeries and Sun ONE App Server).
With the advent of the next J2EE CA spec version (1.5) and J2EE 1.4, a standard means of hooking JMS providers into app servers and MDBs will be made available. Shortly after J2EE 1.4 is released, you'll see this support in Sun ONE App Server.
From the J2EE 1.4 spec: "The Connector API now supports integration with asynchronous messaging systems, including the ability to plug in JMS providers."
Thanks,

The JMS destination jmsqueues/default/sapDemoQueue cannot be found. You have to configure the destination on the server before the deployment or you have to put the destination's declaration in file jms-resources.xml.

JJHi,
but this example was in guide to this version.
Ok, in case it is not possible to use MDB, how should i handle long time consumpting functions in EP enviroment?
(customer has only EP6SP2 and he need to send a lot of mails after user request and i dont want to leave user waiting till that function ends. - should i start new thread in portal?)

Changing ODBC Connection results in Field Name not found error
Post Author: POH
CA Forum: Data Connectivity and SQL
I am using CR XI with mySQL 5.0 and VB6. The computer I use to to design my reports has a odbc dsn which is used to develop the reports. On the production computer the same odbc dsn is present but has a different server, database, user and password entries. I am using the code below to set the connection and test the database. For Each objDatabaseTable In objDatabaseTables objDatabaseTable.SetLogOnInfo "servername", "dbname", "user", "pw" objDatabaseTable.ConnectionProperties("UseDSNproperties") = True Next crxDatabaseTable crxDatabase.Verify No Error is given and the report in this case does not have any sub reports.Now when the command ViewReport is run the CR viewer is shown but the report is not displayed. The viewer shows the error "Filed Name not found". I do not have any formel fields in the report and I have checked to make sur that both databases have the same structure. Can any body help me. Regards PaulDid you add a System DSN or a User DSN? If you added a User DSN from your own login, the asp.net application will not be able to use it unless its application Pool in IIS is configured to run under the same credentials that you used for creating
the DSN. It's better if you add a System DSN.
Also, be careful to ensure that you are using a 64 bit DSN, unless you configure the application to run in 32 bits. If the 64 bit application attempts to use the 32 bit driver you get the same error message "Data source name not found and no default
driver specified". See this KB article:

Object name not found error after upgrading to Visio 2013
Hello,
I have a C# application which uses the Visio drawing control. I have been working on making it compatible with Visio 2013. I get an error using Visio 2013 which I did not get using Visio 2010. The error is a COMexception:
Object name not found.
That is all the error says. The code which causes it to occur is as follows:
Document document = axDrawingControl1.Document;
document.Pages["page1"].Drop(document.Masters["Dynamic Connector"], 0, 0);
It does not seem to matter whether I use Dynamic Connector or Rectangle or any other shape, the error still occurs.
Here's the weird part: I tried out this code in a simple app with a Visio drawing control to see if I could figure out how to make it go away, and the error was still occurring for a little while, and then the code magically started working without me making
any changes to it. Unfortunately, it didn't start magically working in the original application so I'm still trying to figure out what is causing it.
Thanks for your help!Did the error disappear once you'd created a document and added a dynamic connector shape to the drawing? If so then there is now a Dynamic Connector master stored in the document stencil (where masters used in the drawing are contained).

Ok so I went to update my itunes 9 to itunes 10.5 and now I get and error message "Apple application support was not found" error 2 (windows error 2) when ever I try to run itunes and iv been trying to fix this for like a month and let me tell you iTunes for windows is **** and I really want Icloud for my iphone 4 and yes iv tried uninstalling everything by apple in the correct order and reinstalling them after restart atleast honestly 20 - 30 times but nothing worked so if anyone can please help me I have windows 7 and a hp intel pentium computer
Install 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and use one of them to extract the contents of the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe installer file, then try installing AppleApplicationSupport.msi as a standalone component. Even if it won't install you may get a more useful error message as to why not.

Message Driven Bean Deployment for a JCA based inbound Connector in SAILFIN
This post is partly related to my previous post regarding message driven bean deployment issue in SAILFIN b12 application server. I have made another post to put my question to a more specific title with some additions. I am developing a JCA based resource adapter (i.e. connector). The inbound module of the connector listens on a specific port for incoming messages from a server (EIS). The port property and the endpoint interface (custom made message driven bean interface, that is InboundListener) has been specified in the connector's deployment descriptor. When a message reaches, the connector delivers it to the a message driven bean whose code is indicated in the following:
package com....;
import com....ra.facade.InboundListener;
import javax.ejb.ActivationConfigProperty;
import javax.ejb.MessageDriven;

I have set the JMS resource and the queue properties on the admin console of the SAILFIN instance that is locally installed on my Linux machine (Suse 9 - kernel number: 2.6.5-7.244) in the following manner:
ConnectionFactory:
JNDI Name: RAjms/MyQCF
Pool Name: RAjms/MyQCF
Type: javax.jms.ConnectionFactory
Status: enabled
Property1 ==> Name: DestinationType Value: javax.jms.Queue
Property2 ==> Name: DestinationName Value: MyQueue
Destination (i.e. queue):
JNDIName: MyQueue
Physical Destination Name: MyQueue
status: enabled
Property1 ==> Name: DestinationType Value:javax.jms.Queue
Property2 ==> Name: DestinationName Value:MyQueue
When I first written this message driven bean, it was not implementing the MessageListener interface. It was only implementing my own InboundListener interface. I did this because JCA specification says that the endpoint (i.e. message driven bean ) is not supposed to make use of JMS and its MessageListener interface. It says it can support custom message listener interface so to say. Then I got the exceptions that are same as the exceptions stated below. So, I made the bean implement the JMS MessageListener interface in addtion to my InboundListener interface assuming that exceptions result from not including the JMS MessageListener interface. Then I generated the necessary JMS resources with configuration settings stated above in the application server. However, I am still getting the same exceptions (see below) and nothing has changed. Do you think the above configuration for the JMS resource is fine and appropriate to the activation configuration specifications in my message driven bean code? Am I missing something on this configuration? Below, I have indicated the message that I got on the linux terminal when I attempt to deploy the message driven bean and the related server log. Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Kind regards,
faydemir
PS: The 'restart' command in the following linux terminal outcome basically makes a call to a bash script which deploys the message driven bean to the SAILFIN application server. The resource adapter instance is already deployed on the application server before attempting to deploy the message driven bean. I am sure that the resource adapter successfully receives the messages from the EIS but it cannot deliver them to the endpoint (i.e.the message driven bean) since the bean is unable to be deployed correctly. I am using Netbeans IDE 5.5.1
WHILE DEPLOYING:

Please refer to the server log for more details. ]|#]This post is partly related to my previous post regarding message driven bean deployment issue in SAILFIN b12 application server. When a message reaches, the connector delivers it to the a message driven bean whose code is indicated in the following:
package com....;
import com....ra.facade.InboundListener;
import javax.ejb.ActivationConfigProperty;
import javax.ejb.MessageDriven;
import javax.jms.Message;
import javax.jms.MessageListener;
import java.util.logging.*;
* Entity class InboundMessageReceiverMDB
* @author efikayd
@MessageDriven(
mappedName = "InboundMessageReceiverMDB",
messageListenerInterface = com......ra.facade.InboundListener.class,
activationConfig = {
@ActivationConfigProperty(
propertyName = "listenerPort", propertyValue = "12345"),
@ActivationConfigProperty(
propertyName="ConnectionFactoryJndiName", propertyValue="RAjms/MyQCF"),
@ActivationConfigProperty(
propertyName="DestinationName", propertyValue="MyQueue"),
@ActivationConfigProperty(
propertyName="DestinationType", propertyValue="javax.jms.Queue")
public class InboundMessageReceiverMDB implements InboundListener, MessageListener {
private static final Logger logger = Logger.getLogger("com.xyz.inbound.InboundMessageReceiverMDB");
/** Creates a new instance of InboundMessageReceiverMDB */
public InboundMessageReceiverMDB() {
public void onMessage(Message message) {
public void receiveMessage(String message) {
logger.log(Level.SEVERE, "CLASS: " + getClass().getName() + "METHOD: receiveMessage() ==> Message received...: " + message);
The listener interface is the following:
package com...ra.facade;
public interface InboundListener{
public void receiveMessage(String message);
I have set the JMS resource and the queue properties on the admin console of the SAILFIN instance that is locally installed on my Linux machine (Suse 9 - kernel number: 2.6.5-7.244) in the following manner:
ConnectionFactory:
JNDI Name: RAjms/MyQCF
Pool Name: RAjms/MyQCF
Type: javax.jms.ConnectionFactory
Status: enabled
Property1 ==> Name: DestinationType Value: javax.jms.Queue
Property2 ==> Name: DestinationName Value: MyQueue
Destination (i.e. queue):
JNDIName: MyQueue
Physical Destination Name: MyQueue
status: enabled
Property1 ==> Name: DestinationType Value:javax.jms.Queue
Property2 ==> Name: DestinationName Value:MyQueue

Apple application support was not found error 2
I originally had a problem with my iTunes and went to the Apple website to find a solution and I was encouraged to uninstall and reinstall iTunes. Well, I made the mistake of uninstalling the Apple Application Support and now every time I download iTunes, it will not start. I tried looking through other discussions to fix my problem but the only thing I could find that was someone saying to download a free thing and then use it to run iTunes. Everyone said that it worked for them but the home page of the website is a copious amount of external links and it's really annoying as well as confusing. When I found a link that would allow me to download it, it wanted me to complete a task in which I would have to sign up for something (for example, Audible.com) in order to get to the free software. I would just like to download the program required and I am really sick of iTunes at the moment.
i am currently experiencing the exact same problem. ive done everything and researched it completely. nothing has solved this. and I did as you said and downloaded quicktime separately, still nothing..keep getting the same message about "apple application support not found, error 2"..and that cant be, because it DOES in fact have that apple support when I downloaded the quicktime... im beyond frustrated with this! if ANYONE has a solution please help!!!!

Weblogic 8.1: Remote/Foreign Server JMS - Destination not found error
Hi
This is our current setup: Weblogic Server 8.1 with JMS module running on the same instance as the application. We would like to move JMS out into its own box. I am currently setting up my development environment to test the new setup. These are the steps I followed:
* Setup the server instance running the application on one box (Box1). Removed the existing JMS Connection Factory and Destination JNDI setup
* Setup a server instance on another box (Box2) without the application. Created the necessary JMS Connection Factories and Destinations. Started the server instance on Box2
* Added a Foreign Server configuration on Box1. Created the connection factory and destinations under this foreign server pointing to Box2
* The Foreign JNDI names are being bound correctly (I verified the JNDI tree on Box1). Restarted the server instance of Box1
Message-Driven Beans deployed on Box1 are unable to retrieve messages from Box2. The exception thrown is given below. Any help in troubleshooting and resolving this issue is appreciated.
<Warning> <EJB> <myserver> <main> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <BEA-010061> <The Message-Driven EJB: MyBean is unable to connect to the JMS destination: jms/my.application.firstQueue. The Error was:

Edited by: user8773992 on Sep 2, 2009 11:31 AM1 - Ensure that the MDB is configured to reference the remote connection factory AND remote destination.
2 - If using the foreign JMS server facility, ensure that it defines the URL of the remote cluster/server, a connection factory mapping, and a destination mapping. Also ensure that the MDB connection factory and destination descriptor fields reference the local JNDI names for the mappings.
3 - If not using the foreign JMS server facility, ensure that the MDB descriptor has the URL of the remote cluster, and a destination JNDI name that's in the remote cluster. (The connection factory JNDI name is not needed in this case, as the MDB will automatically look for a default connection factory that MDB's use.)
I think the MDB chapter of the EJB programmer's guide will likely be helpful here. The latest documentation for the latest release may be more up-to-date than 8.1 -- the concepts are the same with the newer releases.

Error during deployment of Message Driven Bean
Environment: WLS 6.1SP3 on Win2K SP2, non-clustered.
I am getting some error (or perhaps warning) during deployment of Message
Driven Bean. Any one seen this before?
This error only comes on a machine with Dual Network card.
Thanks.

Hi Tom
Yes we do have an URL provided in the descriptor. It's
t3://jms.server.net:7001.
and the jms.server.net is resolved via a hosts file in Win2K
eg,
192.168.100.200 jms.server.net
You are right in saying that the loopback in a dual-net card is a problem.
But our solution
above solves the issue as long as your host file does not use 127.0.0.1 as
the IP.
We need the URL b/c depending on our client's deployment , the JMS Server
may be remote or may be local.

how should we resolve this issue? does any one have such experience on this issue?
thanks.Hi;
As our Colleague said it would be good to create message to SAP.
01 .Please check the cache,
02. check the system users are not locked.
03. Re-initialization option in Java Web Start Administration (before using this please read the description carefully).
04. try Full Cache Refresh.
05. Check the Java run time version you are using.
