Message Version option in Message Monitoring(integration engine)??

Hi All
While Message Monitoring in Integration engine, when i was checking the message contents in audit log i found a small drop down at the top saying "message version" which has version 0, version 1......
Not all messages were having the same versions, some were having 2 some 8.
What is this Message version option???
Any information on this will be appreciated.

I am trying to execute File-File integration scenario and the message is in Waiting state in Integration Engine.
I am getting the following error in sxmb_moni:

Can any one tell me how to provide RFC authorization to SAPJSF user.

that is the reason for your problem
The user entered for LOGON in that does not have the requisite privileges.
Would sugget you contact your basis team and ask them to make the connection going. Then, this problem will be resolved.
To add more, SLDAPI and the rest are used for the connection between your ABAP and JAVA Stack. As, your mapping gets executed in the JAVA stack, during the execution, as this connection failed, so did your process.
Get this onnection up and reunning and it willsolve this issue.

RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines = none ???

Hi.
I made a Business System in SLD.
Name: DEV_410
Role: Application System
Related Integration Server: XHD_100       (XI Server)
Technical System: DEV on dev60           (type: Web AS ABAP)
Client: 410 of DEV
Logical System Name: HMXDEV410
But I cant see the business system in RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines. There shoud be 'Proxy Runtime DEV_410' in Integration Engines, I think.
Is there any wrong in SLD or RWB?

Go to SLD select your business system :DEV_410
And check the following entries for your business system
Role:   Application Server
Related Integration Server : (Check if this value correctly configured to your Integration Server client)
If this configuration is correct, this means XIRWBUSER is able to connect to the proxy runtime of application systems(DEV_410). Then there will be no entries displayed under RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines in RWB.( that is how my RWB component monitoring is configured)
Only error entries are displayed under RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines in RWB. Say for example XIRWBUSER is not able to connect to the proxy runtime of application systems(DEV_410). Then you see a entry in RED below your RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines

Message Resend Option in Message Monitoring

Hi Everybody,
I am working on a Idoc to SOAP Scenario.
The message is successfully processed in Integration Engine(No errors in SXMB_MONI) but due to connection issues with the receiver the message fails at reciever SOAP adapter.
Can we resend the message through receiver adapter using the resend option in message monitoring.
We are planning to do this in Production Environment as the number of messages failing per day for the interface is less than 30.
Are there any disadvantages of resending the message through Message Monitoring?
Can Somebody help me out on this?

Dont go for alternative way , try to fix the connection issues,this is best way.
we can restart failed messages automatically in Message Monitoing in RWB.

Messages "to be delivered" at the integration Engine

Hi
Since Yesterday, we have a lot of messages with the status "to be delivered".
I have checked the SMQ1, the SMQ2 and nothing is there, but I saw 2 entries in SM58, blocked.
I deleted those entries but the system is still not working.
SMQR is showing the process as "inactive", and if I do not start it manually, it does not start automatically, but even starting it manually, nothing seems to happen.
I am unable to delete the firtst message that stays "to be delivered" its status is Cancelable No, Repeatable No.
The messages are in the Integration Engine.
I checked with no luck:
- Register Queues and Activate again the Queues
- Transaction SLDCHECK shows everything Ok
- AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER , AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER and INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI seem to be Ok
- Stop and Start the SAP
- Refreshing the Cache

Status: TO_BE_DELIVERED
Which means that the message was successfully delivered from Integration Server point of view and it states that the messages is initially handed over to the Messaging System.
TO_BE_DELIVERED occurs while the message is put into the Messaging System receive queue.
Solution:
This is done via the Messaging System receive servlet:
http://<Host>:<PORT>/MessagingSystem/receive/<CONNECTION>

Only if this was executed successfully the Messaging System returns HTTP 200 to the Integration Server and the Status TO_BE_DELIVERED moves to DELIVERING
1. Try logging into Sap GUI with two users: XIAPPLUSER & XIAFUSER
to see if they are blocked
2. We can check the messages:
AdapterFramework

Messages going in wait condition in integration engine.

Hi Experts
My scenario is File2 Idoc.
When we are putting data in ftp for 1 particluar interface messages are going in wait condition for unlimited time in integration server and sucessfull in adapter engine. When we see in sxmb_moni for that particular message which has gone in wait condition in RWB does not have outbond value. Where as all the other interfaces are working fine.

Al the above mentioned points are perfect. But when we check in sxmb_moni in the payloads it is not being able to create xml .
It is giving a part of the details which are relavent but no xml is being generated.
It is showing in the payload like this.

Integration Engine Message Id in ABAP Proxy

Hi,
I have a scenario sending to XI from CRM using an ABAP Proxy.
I need to get the message id generated in the local Integration Engine when a message is sent via the ABAP Proxy or received into the ABAP Proxy.
I see there is a way of doing this in XI and also thought I had found a way of getting it in the proxy in CRM but this does not seem to work correctly even though i can see the message ID being created in the proxy call to XI.
I am trying to get the message id immediately after the proxy call to XI.

as far as I know, it is possible. Have a look at the online help on abap proxies and check out the determination of message id:

Use
Two SAP XI 3.0 Integration Servers are used to exchange messages between the system landscapes of two business partners.
Description
An SAP XI Integration Server of a business partner is connected to the SAP XI Integration Server of another business partner. Both use SAP XI message protocol to send or receive messages.
When an SAP XI Integration Server receives a message from another Integration Server it understands the message format and so processes the message.
Example
A business partner that uses SAP XI wants to send a message to another business partner who also uses SAP XI .
·        The message is sent between the Integration Servers in SAP XI message format
·        The Integration Server of the second business partner then sends the message to the relevant business system
Integration Engine
Purpose
The Integration Engine enables you to process XML messages exchanged between applications in heterogeneous system landscapes. Both applications of SAP components and external applications can communicate with the Integration Engine.
Using adapters, the Integration Engine can also process IDocs (Intermediate Documents) and RFCs (Remote Function Calls). This option is available for applications that have already defined IDocs or RFCs, as well as for applications of SAP components that do not yet have access to the proxy generation functions.
Integration
The Integration Engine is the runtime environment of the SAP Exchange Infrastructure. The following are examples of other important parts of this infrastructure:

·        Integration Repository
·        Integration Directory
The integration processes involved can take place between heterogeneous system components within a company, as well as between business partners outside company boundaries.
Features
The Integration Engine, as a runtime component of SAP Exchange Infrastructure, has the task of receiving, processing, and forwarding XML messages. During message processing, collaboration agreements are evaluated, the receivers are determined, and mapping activities are executed.
The individual processing steps are called pipeline services and are defined in pipelines. It is the task of the Integration Engine to process these pipelines correctly and consistently. To guarantee this, you must configure the Integration Engine accordingly and monitor the message processing. Both event-driven message processing and prioritized message processing are possible.

Error In Runtime Workbench (Integration Engine)

Hi All,
I have an issue with the PI Netweaver 7.0 SR3.We change the client from 001 to newclient by following SAP NOTE.
Everything is happening fine except while i use Transaction SXMB_IFR and then Run Time Work Bench in component monitoring Integration Engine is not in Healthy State,Its showing Yellow Signal and a message is like this
Is Web service security available?
Description :Communication error Proxy calls are not permitted on sender or receiver side on the IS (client)
Also Business Process Engine is also Showing Yellow Signal as
Schedule Background Job for Missed Deadlines
    Schedule Background Job for Work Items with Errors
    Schedule Background Job for Event Queue
    Schedule background job for clearing report
    Schedule Background Job for Shared-Memory Update of Container Fa
    Schedule Background Job for Deadline Monitoring
So please suggest how to proceed to fix these issues.

Error Type In Integration Engine

Please tell me what type of error/exception can occur in the integration engine? Is it only System Exception that can occur or can Application Exception also occur?
Also please tell me what do you mean by the term SALERT.

I. Errors in Integration Engine
a) qRFC Errors
Often in asynchronous scenarios where inbound queues are used, the queues are set to SYSFAIL status and all the messages in the inbound queue are stuck (not processed). Depending on the status of XI processing queues, we can reset a queueu2019s status and trigger processing of messages.
Manual Resend of messages: Use transaction SMQR or SMQ2 to reset the status of queues. As you can see in the following figure, the queue has been marked with a status sysfail.
To be able to initiate processing of messages stuck in the queue, make sure to set following IS configuration parameter
MONITOR QRFC_RESTART_ALLOWED to value 1
For automatic qRfc failure recovery, schedule the report RSQIWKEX to run periodically. This report enables automatically resets the queues.
b) tRFC Errors
Like qRFC errors one can either manually or automatically initiated processing of messages hanged tRFC calls.
Manual Resend of messages: Use transaction SM58 and check through the list. If necessary, start hanging tRFC calls
under the Edit menu by choosing Execute LUWs.
For automatic tRfC failure recover, schedule the report RSARFCEX for periodic execution.
II. Errors in Adapter Engine
Till now we have seen how to resubmit/restart message that failed in Integration Engine. One a message makes it from Integration Engine to Adapter Engine, the message is flagged as checked in Integration Engine. The status of the message in Adapter engine does not effect the processed state in Integration Engine. Now if this message was asynchronous, XI will by default try to restart the message 3 times at intervals of 5 minutes before the status of the message is changed from Waiting to System Error .

Message Monitoring Tool in RWB for Integration Engine Messages not working

Hi all
We currently work on a Pi 7.11 system. I f we start the runtime workbench and going to the message monitoring, we want to get in to a message in the integration engine. Normaly we should get the same sxi_monitor in the web browser, but we only get the soap envelope. The pipeline steps on the left side and also the payload cannot be seen.
We increased the rights of the user to sap_all but this did not changed anything. We also implemented the J2EE monitoring rule.
Seems to me as we forgot a setting after installation, but which??

Hi Oliver,
I work on PI 7.0 and I know it's very different from 7.1x releases, but your problem sounds like a similar "problem" on 7.0.
Is your message sycronous? At PI 7.0 the default configuration is defined to remove the payload of sync messages. You can change it on JAVA Visual Administrator.
Try to find this parameter in Java Visual Administrator and set it to "false", below you will find the PI 7.0 path to this:
Server >> Services >> SAP XI AF Messaging >> messaging.syncMessageRemover.removeBody

Duplication of messages in Integration Engine Monitoring

I send a file from sender(File System) to receiver (BPM). 1 sender 1 receiver.
There are 2 entries of sender to receiver in Integration Engine Monitoring. These rows are identical.
Quality of Service for File adapter is exactly once.
Could anyone expain this duplication?

Q: When running the File Adapter in an environment with more than a single J2EE server instance, the same file is fetched by multiple cluster nodes at once. How do I solve this problem?
A: Initially, please make sure that you do NOT use the processing mode "Test" for your File Sender channel. This mode is intended to be used only for testing purposes and is not guaranteed to work in a cluster environment.
Additionally, please activate the "Advanced Mode" for the respective sender channel or upgrade to SP11 Patch Level 2 or SP12. No further configuration changes are necessary.

i've testing in test system (in development system this don't occur).
When i raise a interface, only two version by messages have me in RWB:
adapter engine (status succeffull)
adapter engine (status succeffull)
and integration engine isn't
why?
Besides, in SXMB_MONI haven't any messages
idea?

If message display is proper in Dev and not in Test then the settings in Test system are not proper.
Is the output of the scenario coming as needed?
