Messaging problem with N91

hi,
i am using an n91 phone for the past 7 months. But since 3 or 4 months i am facing a problem with the messaging feature. After i send a message the phone gets hang, displaying " sending message" for more than one minute.Then the message is sent and delivered. At this time i cant do anything with the phone,the phone is completely hang.Then I approached a near by nokia service center and they fixed the problem by formatting the phone. But after 3 or 4 weeks the problem came back agn and now i have to wait more than one minute after i send a message. How can i permenantly fix this problem?

Perhaps let's first try updating your Apple Software Update.
Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time?

This has been fixed. Answer is that I needed to go to "Apple Software Update" and repair it. (From my Control Panel).

Boot message: problem with hard drive detected. Slow loading of windows 7

I am having a problem with my hard drive, everytime it boots these days it starts with a message: Warning: a problem with the hard drive has been detected, followed by an extremely slow loading of windows. then once in windows it gives me Anothet message
the messsage says hard drive failure imminent you should back up you data etc.
My specs are:
Intel core 2 duo e8400 3.0 ghz
4 gig ddr3 transcend
1 tb seagate 7200.12
giga byte nvidia 9800 gt 1 gig ddr3
Please help lots of data.

Another option:
Take your hard drive out and slave it into another KNOWN WORKING PC.
Back-up your data immediately. Slow boot usually indicates that the drive is going to die. (Check your warranty!)
Then, run "chkdsk /r" from the host PC to check the failing drive. (It is good to match OSes if you can.)

I get the following message "There is a problem with the photo with the filename '(Null).' The full resolution version of this photo either cannot be located or is corrupt. Please replace the photo or delete it from your book." This message appears after place the order and it starts to submit the pages of the book. I get as far as page 9 of 60. I have open the pictures using photoshop and have renamed them and saved them as a tif format. Any suggestions?

I believe that you have gone into the iPhoto library and made changes using photoshop - is that correct
If so then you have trashed your iPhoto library and must put it back exactly as it was - loading a backup is the easiest (probably the only) way
NEVER make any changes to the content or structure of the iPhoto library using the finder or any program that is not fully iPhoto aware

Messages problem with ios 6

I have problem with messages related to bank or groups or unviersity . I can see the preview of last message but when I enter for example Bank I can't see any Previous messages . Some messages contain imp information . Can u fix this problem soon as possaible please .

I'm having the same problem with texts showing as unread. I click on the conversation and then click on back to go to the conversations and after about a second the texts go back to unread. It shows as 2 unread texts from my wife. I deleted 5 messages from the conversations, and the dot went away for a second and came right back and said two unread texts again! I had her send me a text and it went to 3 unread texts. Clicked into the conversation then back out and it went back down to 2 and the stupid blue dot came back! I've rebooted the phone and that doesn't help either.

Sent messages problem with 6021

I have brand new 6021 - the memory of the phone is by default half empty.
In the settings I have enabled the option of save sent messages.
However, this does not happen. Simply, sent messages are not saved. Up to only one message is saved - on the sim card. After that, the phone simply does not register sent messages.
With the inbox, everything works fine.
I tried reset to factory settings, and other options, but unfortunately nothing is working.
ANy idea how can I activate this function?? And what might be the cause of the problem?

Those message usually indicates, that your in an area with a weak wifi or cellular data signal. I speak from experience as this is the only I see that message pop up on my phone.

IE shuts down with message problem with flash10e.ocx

I have a dell Dimension E310. I keep it in top shape. But recently my IE(7) either freezes up and eventually kicks back to desktop or sometimes it comes with a message that IE has encounted a problem with flash10e.ocx and must shut down. I have been on the phone for the last 3 days with Dell Tech Support and they are no help. Can someone on here please help me. This is driving me insane!!

Messaging problems with Nokia 6760

Hi,
I purchased my Nokia 6760 about 4 months ago, and everything was working perfectly until a week ago when it just stopped sending messages. All the messages sit in the outbox.
I have not made any changes to the Messaging Settings, this loss of messaging ability happened spontaneously.
Im sure there is no problem with the network, as when I put the SIM in other phones, messages do send.
Please help me fix this problem. Thanks.

I have just encountered this exact same problem as you! I have had the Nokia 6760 slide for approx 5 months and all of a sudden the sms messages are not being sent. Everything else works fine, and like you, when I put my sim card in other phones I can send sms messages normally.
Has your problem been fixed?? Any help/tips would be much appreciated! Thanks!!!

Qosmio G20 error message: problem with cooling system has been detected

I am attempting to fix a Qosmio G20 (which is about 3 years old, so no longer in warranty).
The error message is: Warning: A problem with the cooling system has been detected.
I have managed to remove the outer case and observe the machine working, and basically one of the fans is not operating at all. The fan which is nearest to the power connector seems to be working fine (it seems to spin quite a lot, dont know if this is normal), it is the other fan which does not seem to move at all.
When I reattached the case and switched the machine on I noticed after a few minutes that the heatsink vent of the working fan got quite warm, whereas the vent of the non-working fan stayed cool.
I have cleaned the fan of dust and have also altered the BIOS to battery mode from high performance mode, but still the problem exists.
I would be grateful if someone could advise whether the problem is the fan or something else.
If the fan is the problem, where can I buy one from (I live in the UK)?

In my opinion there could be something wrong with the cooling module and the replacement would be necessary.
Usually this should be done by an authorized service provider (ASP) in your country.
The technicians could replace it with a new part and also could renew the thermal grease which is placed between the cooling module and CPU.
Therefore contact the ASP in your country and ask for the further handling!!!
By the way; you can purchase the cooling module also from the ASP!!!

I am trying to upgrade itunes. I am running windows vista 64. Everytime I try to upgrade I get an error that says Problem with windows installer package. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hello everybody. I have one little problem : This morning i've resofted my phone, Nokia N70 ME, and i have saved all my messages and contacts directly from Nokia PC Suite under their original form : For contacts .vcf and for messages .vmg . I've managed to restore my contacts but I haven't managed to restore my messages . Is there any possible way for me to restore my messages under this form(.vmg) via Nokia PC SUITE or to backup them with Nokia PC Suite under one file and then load them to my phone ? Thanks in advance .

Hey Radw! I'm experiencing the same problem after upgrading my phone this morning.
Instead of making a backup of my messages so it turns into an (.nbu), I just copied and pasted them into a folder so they turned into an (.vmg).
The PC SUITE has an application called Nokia Communication Center which allows you to import, export and copy and paste the messages. I thought it would be easily manageble to just drag and drop the messages into the Nokia Communication Center.
I was wrong
When I drag and drop my messages it at first says "copying", then stops and an error occurs and it says "It could not be copied. Please check file format".
Gonna reinstall the whole shebang again and se what happends.
Update:
I can drag and drop now But life still aint easy!
New problem:
When I read my .vmg messages on my computer it displays the time, person and number.
When I drag and drop them on Nokia CC the number disapears so all my messages go into the "outbox" so you can't see who the sms are from

Messaging Problem with 3.0 Please Help

I upgraded to 3.0 and now 3GS. Prior to this my wife was able to text me from her verizon blackberry, no issues and it came in on the iphone messaging. Now, somehow the iphone is changing it into an "email". The text appears as her [email protected] It's not a real email because it's not appearing in my home outlook server which is where the iphone pulls my emails from. This is way inconvient since the text doesn't appear till i go manually pull email. Anyone else have these issues. She didn't do anything different, just texts to my phone #? Techies please help.

Retaining deleted messages - problem with preference settings (?)

I have set up my Mailbox Behaviours to
1) automatically "move deleted message to the Trash mailbox" (this option is selected)
and
2) Store deleted messages on the server (IMAP)
and
3) Permenantly erase deleted messages when "One month old"
BUT... for some reason Mail keeps deleting my messages after approx on week. I have tried changing the settings various ways, but can't seem to overcome this problem. There do not appear
to be any restrictions or rules on my IMAP server side that would be over-riding the MAIL prefs.
ANYONE have a suggestion or know what my problem is?

I believe it’s the server, not Mail, who is permanently deleting those messages. Try turning OFF Store deleted messages on the server, so that deleted messages are stored locally instead, or create a new mailbox on the server and do Mailbox > Use This Mailbox For > Trash on it. Manually move messages to the mailbox that was previously being used to store deleted messages on the server (which should appear now with a generic folder icon in the mailbox list) and see whether the messages are still being deleted from there after one week like before, even though as far as Mail goes it’s now a mailbox like any other.
