Metadata edited in Bridge is not reflected in the Info Dialogue Box, but shows up in Photoshop.

You are right that not all metadata is shown in the Finder info but in my case the once added in IPTC core do show as expected for most file types (but not CR2 raw). As you now I convert my CR2 to DNG for a long time now I had to look up the original Raw file and create the data for description, location, keywords again. The data you can add and alter yourself in the IPTC Core field. I added a series of screenshots showing different info and to my surprise (another reason to keep to DNG…) the Raw file had very less info and the xmp shows it all in a rather long and obscure way. Yet PSD, DNG and File info in PS show the same.
Could not recreate the Bridge metadata workspace from the OP because mine (Bridge CC) does not have the description field as an option anymore for some obscure reason. Also checked this in my CS6 version with same result, making the metadata workspace unusable but that was it already for a long time.
Still leaves us with the problem the OP showed, having all info in most files, as in Finder info, but not in Bridge. So could the OP respond to the purge cache for selection option in post 4?

I am trying to export a book project as individual jpeg files and I can't see the drop down menu to choose what file format I want to export the file as. All I can do is export it as a .pdf which does not help me.

What program are you using? This is the main Creative Cloud Application forum. This needs to be in the forum that matches the program you are using.

Conditions in Calculation Schema not reflecting in Purch Info Record

Hi,
We are using calculation procedure TAXIN.
We have maintained Calculation Schema & maintained required conditions.
When we checked for maintaining these conditions in Purchasing Info Record, (Transaction Code - ME11 / ME12), these conditions are not appearing in the info record. But, the conditions appearing in the info record are not same as those in the Calculation Schema.
Also, the conditions maintained in Info Record are not getting copied to Purchase Order (except Base Price P000).
What could be the reason behind this? How to correct the same?

Tax procedure condtions will not appear in the info record. for the conditon which is not reflecting in the PO, you may check in inforecord whether there is a check mark in condition record saved for approval; if so it is deleted

Changes are not reflecting in the Quality

Hi,
These are standard SAP Components. I have imported the ESS and MSS Packages.
Actually 3 Development Components are using in my application (Tra,TraTri and TraTre).Tra is the root DC.
I have made changes to those objects and sucecessfully build without errors.
After check-in all activities those activities are working fine in Development system.
But those changes not refclecting in Quality system. So i was founded build log error in Consolidation.
I was fixed the error in the Development system and build the components without build error.
still now changes are not reflecting in the quality system.
But out of 3 DCs(Tra,TraTri,TraTre) Tra and TraTre are working fine in Quality(changes are reflecting) only problem in TraTri DC (changes are not reflecting in the Quality)..
Please help me as soon as possible....Its very help full for me

very very thanks to you for the fast reply. but one thing in my side.
When i release the activities after successful build, i export those changes and place them in the import queue of the consolidation system in the CMS.
The export in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio packs all selected activities into a change request, and then places them in the import queue of the consolidation system.
When the my system administrator imports this request into the consolidation system, the released changes are integrated into the DTR workspace of the consolidation system; the build server compiles the modified components.

The logo for the application has been changed in Azure portal, but it's not reflected during the login

she tried to change logo of one application, but failed. she followed the steps as below:
1. add the "Logo" in the application;
2. logo not reflect in the login page.

Sometimes I know I haven't changed anything in the external file. In this case, the supposed conflict seems to be a bug and I overwrite with Lightroom metadata without exception (but with fingers crossed) - that bug has been reported.
Other times however, I have edited the file in an external editor, and its possible that the external editor wants to add some information that may be worth having, or it may be that its lost the original information - this is when its a dilemma:
If I overwrite disk file with Lightroom metadata, I may be losing what the external editor added.
If I overwrite Lightroom metadata with disk data, I may be losing what Lightroom had and the external editor dropped.
This scenario has not been reported as a bug, since I don't know if it is one. If I could see the difference between the two, then I'd know.

Changes to subtasks are not reflected in the summary task

I use Project Professional 2013.
Changes to subtasks are not reflected in the summary tasks. This includes both work and actual work as well as % complete. The tasks are all auto scheduled. Is there a setting that I need to change?

The only way I know to make that happen is if calculate project after every edit is disabled (See Options, Schedule tab).
Does this happen in all project files, for other PCs near you and do you have SP1 installed for Project 2013?

UI Screen Configs not reflecting on the web

For doing screen configuration, when I click on the frame to configure, the system is picking up std key and not the custom key zpartman though zpartman key is there in the list. ( Note: Zpartman key is the one assigned to this role ). Therefore if I do config in zpartman key, it's not reflecting on the web. Please reply what could be the reason and the solution.

first access the standard and check the configuration info such as what is the configuration key , object and subobject .
Then access your custom configuration screen and check what it was looking for and what is it picked , change your custom configuration accordingly what it was looking for (by making changes to configuration key, object and sub object).
Check that you are accessing in the same client if not transport the request to other client using SCC1 transaction.

Check Box values not reflecting in the pageflow instace variable

Hello BEA Experts,
I am binding a checkBox group to an instance variable of a Pageflow , it seems that the array inside the pageflow is null no matter what can you please let me know why.
Is it possible to bind the checkbox group tag to an array in Pageflow or is there anything wrong with the way I am using the checkbox group with in a data- repeater table.

I didn't understand fully what you are trying here. Could you please clarify?
I assume that you have a Array of NodeId objects.
Lets say:
Public NodeId[] nodeids = new NodeIds[10];
and you want a checkBoxGroup mapped to NodeId[]
and have as many checkBoxOption as number of elements in array with value as NodeId(i).nodeId
Is this assumption correct?
If the above is correct then the code snippet you have pasted is wrong in the sense that checkBoxGroup datasource is the array but the Option value is the main repeater item's nodeId which is wrong.
The container.item would not access anything within the pageflow variable.

PO changes not reflecting in the SAP R/3 system in Extended classsic

Hi Guys,
I have a querry regards to deletion of a PO line item in Extended classic scenario Version 5.0. User has deleted the line item in the shopping cart and now the status of the shopping cart is with Zero value and line item deleted, but in the PO there is a line item with some Value and we are trying to delete it and save it, it gets deleted and PO status it shows as awaiting approval. but at the Item level of the PO the check box of Item deletion is updated. which means PO line item is deleted.
Now my querry is the status of the PO in the SRM shows a awaiting approval and this is not in approval tab but at the header level when I try to search the PO with PO display/change option. Also its not reflecting with the deleted item in R/3 system.
Please help me.

Check configuration of your Message server. check if your message server is configured properly. Just go to your SAP logon. Select the system say "DEV" and click on groups.Then Click on System id and enter the id as "ID1" in your case.
and then enter the machine name in the message server box and then click on generate list. If your message server is configured correctly you would get some groups in the list below. only if that comes then go to SLD and check in the ABap technical system if you have configured technical system using the proper logon groups.
Then you should not face this problem. Let me know if you require more information.

1.I have created a BI quey with 2 calculated keyfigures and 2 Restricted keyfigures. When i am creating a universe on top of the BI query, Desrptions for Calculated and Restricted keyfigures are not reflecting in the universe, Rather the universe is showing UID(unique ID)'s of the CKF and RKF.
To get the descriptions into the universe, Do i need to do any settings?
2. In one of the documents I have read that we have to create one universe for one language if i want to see the report in Multiple languages. if it is so,
Do i need to create universe in each and every language or is there any option that i can create the universe in one language and replicate into the required languages?

do you see the desriptions in items like the RSA1 ? - I can able to see the descrptions of Calculated keyfigure and Restricted keyfigure in the query designer and as well as in Bex analyzer.
did you use the same language when building the universe connection ? - Yes I have created the connection and universe in English Language.

Changes are not reflecting in the page

Hi All,
I have an issue in custom page. In my custom page, if i click approve button for a particular batch, then it will navigate to previous page which contains 10 batches per page in the table structure.
Once i clicked the Approve button it will update the status in the table. It is getting updated in the table but it is not reflecting on the Batches page while navigating to previous page.
Kindly share your suggestions.

Since you wish to display a specific row in the table region , then while navigating from update page to search page send primary key and set it as
where clause , so that you can view only updated specific row .
You need to handle this in process Request of your controller class in search page . Let me know if its not clear .

I have modified the query by adding attributes. But the changes are not reflecting in the workbook.
Do i need to insert the query again in the workbook or is there any option that will reflect the changes in the workbook

Hello Suneel,
if you insert the query again, it will work, but it is not the best way to delegate the query changes to the workbook.
Just open your query from within your workbook (BEx menu 'change global definition') and use the green button at the top left in order to transfer the new query structure to the workbook. The query will be executed and you should see the changes.
Don't forget to save the workbook afterwards.

File Upload data not reflected in the Layout

Hi,
Using the following how to document, I have written the file upload functionality.
The upload functionality works and the data is saved in the cube. We have a layout to display the uploaded data.
Issue:- The data is not reflected in the layout soon after fileupload, even after saving the data in the cube.
If i close existing webinterface and re-execute it. I see the uploaded data.
Once the data is saved in the cube, we would like to see this data in our layouts.
How do we achieve this ?

Hi,
When you click on Submit button the file data goes in the buffer and when you click on Save the data gets posted into cube and then the function module release the buffer.
Comment the FM call API_SEMBPS_REFRESH in Save button and refresh the layout, check if you can see the new data in the layout.
