Mfp127fn

hi,
There is a problem with installing the MFP127fn driver and software.
Tried to instal over network with original CD   - fatal error.
Tried to install over usb - the same - fatal error.
Tried to install only the driver thru device manager - PCLmS driver , -the same error.
Winxp Sp3 , usb2.0
Other printers from HP are working fine ( hp3600 , HpP1005)
The only thing that the computer recognize is the scanner , and it accepts the driver (manually set ).
The hp software did not install because the installing process from Cd never came to end because of fatal error
What is cousing the problem.
Tried even downloding from Hp suuport drivers. The same fatal error. (USB)
Tried to make a new TCP/IP port  - it sees the printer and its IP adress, but to install the driver -says  error.
Can someone help , what is causing the problem , there is no error descripton to see what the error is.
The printer is new.
I have worked with Hp printers for many years and with many different models with no problems,
and nowdays a new printer has a driver issue - unbelievable
Thnx for help

Hey there @sasko!
Thank you for posting on the HP Forums!
I would be happy to provide some assistance regarding the "fatal error" when installing the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fn. I don't know what exactly is causing the "fatal error" but I can provide some suggestions that may resolve it.  You had mentioned that you have already tried uninstall and re-install of the HP software.  I suggest uninstalling again, running a disk cleanup, restarting the computer and re-install the HP Software.  Its possible that temporary files stored in the computer may cause software corruption.  A disk cleanup will clean you temp folders and should improve computer performance.
To uninstall the HP Software click: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02259020
To run a disk cleanup on Windows XP click: Disk Cleanup on Windows XP  (you can skip to 25 seconds into the video)
To download the LaserJet MFP 127fn full feature software click: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127 Series Full Software and Drivers
I hope this help resolve the issue!  Please post back and let me know how it goes!

  • How do I scan a document from HP MFP127fn to my Ipad Air2 (both are connected to my home network)

Hi,  How do I scan a document from HP MFP127fn to my Ipad Air2? Both are connected to my home network - the HP printer is connected by ethernet cable, and the Ipad Air2 connected by WiFi.   I can print from the Ipad to the Printer, but can't scan.  The printer is connected correctly (ie, it scans to another lap-top (windows 7) without problems

  • Laserjet MFP127fn fax sending issue

I am having an issue with multiple Laserjet MFP127fn units that we just bought. When I go to send a fax and start typing the fax number into the unit it tries to connect before I finish dialing the number. Other times it would tell me fax canceled yet it would still try to send it. Then there are times when it just goes back to the menu that says "load document" as I type the fax number in.
I would expect the machine to wait until I typed the fax number in then pushed ok before it dialed the number.
Is there a fix for this? I tried firmware update with no luck. If there is no fix for this I will be returning all 70 units that we just bought.

    Hi marquism76,
Sorry for the late reply. I have been checking into this issue further. I will try my best to get this resolved for you.
I have provided a document to go through the steps to see if that will resolve the issue.
    Cannot Send or Receive Faxes.
Run the fax test. What were the results?
    Turn off the error correction.
    Set the speed to slow.
Also go into setup, fax setup menu, private receive and turn it off please.
Just to clarify, you are entering the fax number and then pressing the Start Fax button?
    Sending a Fax.
If the issue persists, could you possibly move the unit to one of the locations where you aren't having issue to rule out any connection issues?
Please let me know how you make out.
    Thank You.
