Micro SD encrypted card

I had a nokia E72 and i encrypted my sd memory card. Recently i removed the sd card and sold my E72 Nokia. I know the password used when i encrypted it. Is there any way i could recover my file from the sd card?

If you insert it into another device or computer SD card reader you will be prompted for the password.

  • Where is Micro SD Memory Card? Nokia 6500 slide

    Hi guys,
    I need some help please.
I bought Nokia 6500 slide today and on the box says that it contains:
    Nokia 6500 slide
    Nokia Battery BP-5M
    Nokia Charger AC-4
    Nokia Wired Stereo Headset HS-47
Nokia 256 MB Micro SD Memory Card MU-27
    Nokia Mirco USB Cable CA-101
    Nokia TV-Out Cable CA-92U
    CD ROM
    User guide
Everything is there except Micro SD Card. Is it somewhere inserted in the phone or it should be in the box? I am confused. I am worried because I don't think they sold me brand new item as I think box was open before they brought it to me.

    Hi,
Remove the back cover and you will notice next to the camera lens a silver plate. The memory card should be in there. By holding the phone so that the camera lens is at the top and the battery is facing downwards, you can put ur fingernail carefully at the top of the silver plate where there is an indentation and slide the cover down without removing the battery. You can then remove the memory card once you manage to get the silver plate to pop upright..
    Hope this helps.
To insert ur sim card, you need to remover the battery. The sim card compartment is just below the memory card slot. When you need to get the sim card out, use the little metal slider beside the memory card slot to push the sim card out of the slot.
    Mojo!

Hi @SerginoT! Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
You can decrypt files by turning encryption to OFF  and entering the device Password on your settings.

By Hard Reset you mean Security Wipe right?
If yes, Im sorry but you cannot recover those encrypted files anymore. The encryption key was deleted when the device was wiped.

  • Micro SDHC 8GB card

I have this card and I put it in my Blackberry Pearl (8100) and the phone does not recognize it. In advanced setting under media card, I have it "on" but it says no media card present. Anyone have any ideas why?

I haven't use any 4 GB microSDHC in my handheld but from different forum I've learned that micro SDHC will work in BB. But officially following are the details on memory supported by BlackBerry -
Max. Media Support depends on the version of device OS that you're using.
BlackBerry Device Software                         Media Card Size Limit
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.0                         Up to 2GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1                         Up to 4GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2                         Up to 4GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.3.0                         Up to 8GB
    All are microSD.

  • Is N900 compatible with micro SD 32GB card?

Hi guys, I am wondering if N900 is compatible with Micro SD 32GB class 10 card, can it process information & handle data of that capacity?
I have tried use higher capacity memory cards on other phones what it intended to & it still works fine.

you should have no problems using a 32Gb card in your n900.

  • Nokia Micro SD 8GB card

    A week ago I bought Nokia N81-3 because Nokia N81 8GB
wasn't availabe at Nokia dealers here. And to increase
the storage capacity of the phone I bought a Nokia Micro SD
    8GB memory card.
My question is this, which method is better for the phone,
to insert an 8GB memory card or smaller card e.g. 4GB card.
    Thanks for your answer.
    Fattan

    Better in which way?
    8GB means 200% capacity counter 4GB
imho there can be one problem - if your phone (fw) supports SDHC cards, coz I've still never seen 8GB SD..
But why are you asking when you already bought it?

  • Using Disk Utility to formatting Micro SDHD 10 card

The first time I formatted the 32gb Micro sdhd card with MS-DOS/FAT for the car's camera...all  was well. Then recorded some HD movies with the camera as I drive (the car's camera has a built-in DVR), then attached to the MacBook Pro via USB to download. The computer would not recognize the Micro SD card and want to initialize...hmm! So, open Disk Utility and format as ExFAT...5hrs pass and it's still half way...7hrs pass and it's still half way.
I don't think it's doing anything as it starts halfway, and a minute left which stretches to 7hrs. I tried both MS-DOS/FAT and EXFAT...same thing. Is there any solution?

Regardless where that SDHC card is formatted, you should take great care that it is properly unmounted from the Mac desktop before you disconnect the camera. Otherwise, you could corrupt that data card, as several posts in the community have discovered.
Secondly, it is important to know if the Camera is compatible with iMovie '11. Here is the iMovie Supported Camera selector. If your videos are in AVCHD video format, here is how to get them off the camera.

  • Any hope for recovering data fr. Micro SD Memory card?

this isn't really a powerbook G4 question, but it does relate to data i've had on there.....
I mistakenly pressed the yes button on my mobile phone when it asked if it could reformat the disk because it couldn't recognize or read the card.
Is there any hope of recovering the data or is it gone forever?
I'm hoping that there's someone out there with a solution.
Thanks to anyone who may be able to help me and if I can't retrieve the data, then I must humbly accept that it's gone and to let it go.....
    Brande

    there's a website flashfixers.com.
They have great products to help one recover everything and anything.
I downloaded the demo version ImageRecall to test it out and see how it would be.
Easy to use. It lets you know how many files were retrieved for each option (data, audio, image) within the drive you choose. It gives you 10 recovered files as a teaser. You need to buy the full version to recover all the files that are okay for recovery.
If you haven't heard about this recovery software, check it out.

  • N95 16 GB micro sdhc memory card

Hiya, Can I use the 16GB memory card in my N95??. The Nokia site shows I can uses the 8GB but the N95 is not listed for the 16GB. Also, What does the hc bit mean as all the memory cards before the 8GB only say sd and after they say sdhc
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

The N95 should work with a 16GB card. The N82 and a few other do. As long as the card is of a well-known brand and bought from a reputable store, you shouldn't have any problems.
The "HC" bit stands for "Hich Capacity". All microSD cards of 4GB and greater are SDHC cards.
    Read here for more information.

  • Micro SD HCI card

I have a nokia n 79 in there the memory card is 4 GB suddenly I get a massage that "disk error try again or data will lost" after that I try to format my card but it show insert the disk or I check the property in there it show 0 byte free or use , I also try for anti-virus scan in there 0 file detected  what should I do Plz  reply..........................

It definitely is not a virus issue, there are no viruses currently in ciruclation that affect Symbian phones, and even this OS is not like Windows - things cannot be installed without the user's knowledge (you always have to say 'yes' to installations).
The most likely cause is that the card itself is corrupt. If formatting does not help, it could be damaged in which case it might not be possible to save it.
However, before you do anything else, you should try to rule out this being an issue with pone's card reader, check if you can read the reformatted card in another phone or a PC; or try a to see if your phone can read a different card.
If your phone proves to be at fault, it could be a simple software problem which updating the software should fix (www.nokia.com/softwareupdate). If not, you make have to take the phone to a Nokia service point.
If the card itself proves to be faulty, unfortuately there is nothing you can do except replace it.

  • Can't play videos after I move them to the micro sd memory card

I moved my videos bought on video unlimited to the micr sd card to save space using the file transfer app that came with the tablet and now they won't play. I just get the message " can't play video". If I move back onto internal memory they won't play - I suppose because not in the original location but can't see how to fix this. I want to store and play from the sd card. What am I doing wrong please!

I would advise contacting Video Unlimited support for your region regarding this as it sounds like an issue with the DRM on the files: http://en.support.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/app/help/VU/p1

  • Is there a micro scan disk card for the IPad 2?

I read something about a scan disk card for the iPad 2, has anyone heard this?

You can use the camera connection kit to copy photos/videos to the Photos app from a camera or an SD card (and one of the main manufacturers of memory cards for cameras is Sandisk) - is that what you mean ?
