Middleware - No BDOCS created for Initial Download

Hi Middleware Gurus,
I am facing a MW problem and don't have a clue as to why. So, can i please have your inputs.
I am trying to download object - CUSTOMER_MAIN in R3AS in CRM after setting the necessary filters. In R3AM1 status is running and there are no BDOCs generated. when i check Queues, in R/3 SMQ1 there is an outbounc queue to CRM - i push it and in R3AM1 i get status green indicating a successful downlaod- without any BDOCS!
In CRM BP i don't see the downloaded BP. Also there are no errors whatsoever in the system. Checked SMWP and SMWT which indicate that CRM is trying to receive the data from R/3 but failing to do so, why no clue. The same exercise was done for BUPA_MAIN and got the same results.
Also, our basis guys tried to do a delta download, which created BDOCs albeit failed ones as the BP GUID does not exist in CRM for that BP. But i guess that intial download and delta download troubleshooting are two different issues alltogether.
I followed SAP note 429423 to check my MW settings and did not find anything amiss. What could be the problem?

Hello Shillo,
Check the filter settings for download objects in txn:R3AC1.
Check txn:SMQR to make sure all queues are registered.
Check table CRMRFCPAR in R/3 to make sure that data is getting sent to your CRM system and client.
Check if any BDoc is coming in txn:SMW01.and double click on the BDoc to check for the data.
Also,click on icon Errors/Receivers to check for any error.

We are in SRM 5.0 & ECC 6.0 with Classic scenario. While uploading the MATERIAL through R3AS, we have the "Mat. for Initial Download: Table not supported by function C_" & "No product ID determined for material number ... of logical system" error in SMW01.
In SMQ2 in SRM, Queue is blocked with "Error in Mapping (Details: transaction SMW01)"
For your information RFC Users at both the ends have SAP_ALL authorisation. SAP Notes 720819, 420980 & 432339 are implemented.
Please guide me to resolve this issue.

if anybody is interested:I solved the problem for our systems, but it's not a very nice solution:
In backendsystem, which is ECC 6.0 for us, in table CRMRFCPAR the field CRM_REL was empty for connection to CRM. I think this field should be filled automatically but it wasn't. I filled it 'hard' with '700' and then product/material data could be replicated.
Background:
In ECC system while collecting material data the subroutine GET_DOWNLOAD_PARAMS_AND_QUEUE of FG CRM0 is called and there is a request 'IF gt_rfcdest-crm_rel GE '500'.'
This field crm_rel is filled from table CRMRFCPAR.
I think CRMRFCPAR-CRM_REL should be filled automatically when using SM30 using the RFC-Destination but in our system it was empty. (CRMPAROLTP -> CRM_RELEASE is set !). So I set CRMRFCPAR-CRM_REL 'hard' in SE11 to '700'.
This is not a very nice solution but maybe it will help anyone.
I'm also interested if anybody has another better solution.

Profit center document not created for initial stock upload

Hi Gurus
We have created initial stock upload for one of the inventory items through movement type 561.Though the profit center was populated in the line items the profit center document has not been created and when we go and run balance sheet profit center wise there are no results for display? Any suggestions ?

INITIAL DOWNLOAD NOT SUCCESSFUL!

Hello All,
I am replicating the product categories(in SRM terminology) i.e. initia load of Material groups from backend(R/3) into the SRM system through the CRM Middleware.
At the r/3 side in the tcode SMQ1(Outbound Queue),i am getting the status as STOP while at SRM side(i.e. CRM middleware) in the tcode SMQ2(Inbound queue),i get the status READY.Also when I go in for the transaction of Monitoring Initial Load (R3AM1),I get the status as RUNNING.
Can anyone please tell me how much time it takes to download these objects because I had started the Initial Load for 4 Objects out of which the 1st object took 4 hrs to be downloaded!Please help.

Hi Disha,
In this program, you have to set some values according to the configuration you made in SRM and R/3.
You must choose 'BBP without CRM' and you must enter the consumer name chosen by you in field 'User' (for example, 'CRM').
After running the program (not in test mode...), you get a screen that displays the results of the program.
As i do not know what steps you have done, could you please list them ?
Step 1 : CRMCONSUM , CRMSUBTAB, CRMRFCPAR and CRMPAROLTP tables
Step 2 : program 'BBP_PRODUCT_SETTINGS_MW'
Step 3 : Transaction <SMOEAC>
Create a R/3 site for the backend and allocate the backend RFC destination as the attribute
Step 4 : Then control the status of the sites using transaction <SMWP> in the EBP with middleware menu : portal-> runtime info-> adapter status->parameters-> sites.
All the status should be green.
Step 5 : select the data you want to replicate. The lines that are not set to inactive, indicate your choice for the replication.
From the Enterprise Buyer easy access menu, choose Middleware -> R/3 Data Exchange -> Initial Download -> Object Management -> R3AC3 - Customizing Objects.
Step 6 : initial download
Step 7 : Go to Monitor Download object or transaction R3AM1 to check that the replication was successful

Query Regarding Initial Download

I am facing quite some problems while doing an initial download of customizing objects from R/3 to CRM.
1. Are number ranges and PIDE settings mandatory for initial download of customizing objects? I am asking this question because
      a. while downloading DNL_CUST_CNDALL object, I am getting A BDOC message
1. "Validation error occurred: Module CRM_BUPA_MAIN_VAL, BDoc type BUPA_MAIN."
             2. "Acct Group KUNA do not exist",
             3. "Partner PAC-CUST(00215A491AF21ED18AF18C8F4A05AFC2): the following errors occurred"
      b. While downloading DNL_CUST_KTOKD, I am geting BDoc messages:
1. Validation error occurred: Module CRM_BUPA_MAIN_VAL, BDoc type BUPA_MAIN.
             2. Business partner with GUID 00215A491AF21ED18AF0B11059A4CFC2 does not exist

2. Is there a particular order in which we have to download customizing objects? like some objects must be downloaded first before downloading other objects.

Hi Harsh,
DNL_CUST_CONDALL is the adapter object for condition download & DNL_CUST_KTOKD for account groups in ECC.
As i mentioned above that the Download of DNL_CUST_CONDALL is concern with the download of the condtion & condition techniques fron=m ECC to CRM. this is the part of the master data but not customising.Condition technique will have the condition tables with various combination. For example sales area -- business partner/cutomer -- discounts. If you download this object without having Business partner and sales area in CRM system you are bound to get the validation error.
In your case, your condition table must be having a customer data which is not present in CRM, thats why probably you are getting the error.
Before downloading the condition objects
Down load -- customising for BP
Down load -- customising for product
Down load -- Business object for BP
Down load -- Business object for Product
Set your org structure and do the ECC mapping
Down load -- Business object & customizing for condition.

Hi,
The CRM middleware allows the following two methods for replication.
-Initial loads:
Launched manually (tcode R3AS), the objects (customizing or business) are replicated between SRM and R/3, according to the filters you've put on the object (R3AC1 for Business objects like MATERIAL, R3AC3 for customizing objects like DNL_CUST_PROD0 and 1).
-Delta loads:
This option is only possible for Business objects, which is the case of MATERIAL.
With this option a daemon is launched between the 2 servers. Every modification made on an object on SRM or R/3 is transfered as soon as this object is contained in the filter retrictions (creation and/or modification). this is done through transaction R3AC4.

Problem with initial download.

Dear experts.
I'm trying to download object DNL_CUST_BASIS . In R3AM1 i see status Done and there are no inbound and outbound queries in smq1 and smq2. But in smw01 i can't see any related bdoc's and i haven't any replicated data at all. The same story is with other object types. Any suggestion in missed configure settings?

DNL_CUST_BASIS is an customizing object and there is no bdoc created for customizing objects as standard behaviour. if you want to check whether data is replicated properley or not do the following.
Goto t-code R3AC3 and search for DNL_CUST_BASIS. double click on it and go to table tab. there are names of R/3 tables and in CRM data is stored in same tables through FM CRMC_OUTPUT_BASIS_MAP_SAVE ( go to mapping modules R/3 to CRM )

1) To differentiate the Intial download and delta dwonlad in CRM
     queue name for initial download: R3AI_*
     queue name for Delta download: R3AD_*
3) Customizing objects:
   1)DNL_CUST_ACGRPB -- accounting group for BP
   2) DNL_cust_ACGRPP-- account group product.
You can find all of the customizing objects in tcode R3AC3.

Initial download taking time for CTParts in syclo inventory manager 3.2

Hi All,
While doing the Initial download in syclo inventory manager 3.2 we have observed that it is taking a lot of time for fetching the data from the complex table CTParts.
In agentry diagram CTParts complex table is showing nine fields, out of this nine fields few fields like UOM, BatchIndicator etc does not have any dependency.So can i delete those fields?
If yes, what will be the impact on application after deleting those fields .

You need to analyze couple of things before making any program changes:-
a) Can you check if you have set filter for ctparts MDO object in SAP ? if MDO filter for plant points to user parameter "WRK' , look at value of WRK in SU3. Make sure that you have plant value maintained for WRK parameter.
b) if indeed WRK value is maintained then go to MARC and check the number of materials that exists for WRK plant. if it is too many then do you really all those materials downloaded to Mobile device ? check if you can maintain other filters values to restrict material records downloaded like material type , material group etc.
c) Check the point of bottlecheck a) whether it takes more time to execute query in SAP . b) whether it takes time to transfer data from SAP to Java layer. if so try to increase Java heap size.
d) Also look at MDO field selections for ctparts in SAP. Only select fields that you want to do.
e) Did you create additional indexes for ctparts complex table ?
f) Finally if nothing works then look at option of replacing output structure in BAPI which return CTparts with Z structure with only required 9 fields which also requires Z Java code changes for ctparts complex table.

Initial download for Material

hello,
I can create and modify materials and this datas are transfered from R3 to B1 (with program RBDMIDOC MATMAS on R3 and R3PROD2B1ITEM in B1i).
My problem is for old R3 material. I'm looking for a program to transfert old R3 material (material wich are created before B1i) from R3 to B1i. Do you know the name of program for making initial download of material ?

Hello Eddy,
My question is not about R3 version.
After I have R3 with materials.
Now I have R3 + B1i + B1 and if i create a new material in R3 (transaction MM01) I can transfert it on B1 and see it.
For the existing material in R3 (material which are created before integration with B1) I dont know the way to transfer it in B1. Maybe a program exist for create idocs in R3 for this already existing materials?

Stopped Initial download for Bupa_Main in CRM in between

Hi Experts,
We have a problem in CRM. The initial download for the object BUPA_MAIN was accidently started by one of collegues.
The job ran for almost 24 hour adn was still running. The queues went as high as to 40000 entries & the outbound queues started getting stuck in ISU system
So we had to finally kill the job & things resumes as normal...
Can anybody let me know as to what would be the impact of killing the job...

And did u mean unlocking the queues by quoting 'clearing ' the queue. We we did clear the blocked queue (r3ad* ) but the queue R3AI* got cleared automatically...
Also it seems that the R3AI* queue is still running even cancelling the job.
Also shows as a error in SWMP tcode indicating a abort of initial download. How do i get rid of it.

Is there any BAPI or FM or Method to create Version for Initiative

My requirement is :
when status of decision point for initiative is set to final i.e 003 then version for initiative should get generated. I am serching for BAPI or FM or Method which could generate Version for initiative .

You can use function module '/RPM/INIS_VERS_CREATE' to create versions for initiatives.
Alternatively, you can also use the 'class->method'... 'cl_inm_initiative_o_api=>create_initiatives_version'

sorry for the late late reply but I didn't notice your answer.
Here are my answers:
(1) I monitored the behaviour on the CRM system, CRM 7.0, SP5
(2) The change should be implemented in the CRM system
(3) Deactivate buffering for scenarios marketing, sale and service via SM30 and table T770MATTR.
By doing this the initial load of 3.2 million business agreements took around 2 hours, with activated scenario buffering I was at least ten times slower.
After the initial load you have to activate the buffering again.
Interesting to know would be why the scenario buffering only affects the initial load of business agreements and no other object. As far as I know the scenario buffering is relevant for the organizational management.

Sounds like a verification issue on whatever marketplace you bought PS Touch from. Did you try contacting Google or Apple to see what they say?
