Missing Compose button in GMail

I have Firefox 3.6.12
When I log into gmail and use their newer standard view
the COMPOSE button doesn't even display on the screen.
On the left side the only thing that does display is the GMail logo, then the MAIL header with no sub-options, then CONTACTS, then TASKS.
CHAT is working fine and displays all my chat contacts.
Switching back to gmail's basic view does display the needed compose functionality but doesn't offer the alternate From: email address option.
Also, in about:config, dom.storage.enabled is already set to TRUE. When I toggled it to FALSE, then Chat stopped working. Toggling it back to TRUE re-enabled chat, but Compose still didn't appear.

Disable "Adblock plus" plugin on mail.google.com page if you are already installed it.
You can do that by clicking it's button next to the search field and choose :
Disable on mail.google.com
then refresh the page.

Firefox spell-check dictionary switches to incorrect language when starting compose mail in Gmail

I have Firefox 11.0 with dictionaries for Lithuanian and Russian languages installed. It seems that no matter what dictionary language is selected, after I start composing mail in Gmail, it switches the dictionary language to Russian (it changes the spellchecker.dictionary property).
Steps to recreate:
1. Say, the dictionary language is set to Lithuanian in some way (the spellchecker.dictionary property is "lt")
2. Restart Firefox
3. Open Gmail page (spellchecker.dictionary is still "lt")
4. Start composing new mail - this is when the spellchecker.dictionary property gets changed to "ru"
(there are other, more complicated scenarios, when this happens, sometimes it is even enough to reload the Gmail tab)
Firefox general.useragent.locale property is "lt-LT", Gmail display language is "English-US". I don't know what other settings I should check. Of course, I could uninstall Russian altogether, but I do need it sometimes, so it would be nice to have, but not as a default language every time I open my mail.

There is no built-in way to use more than one dictionary at a time. The [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3414/ Dictionary Switcher] extension may be of use to you.

Missing radio buttons on web pages, solution: remove Silverlight plug-in

Missing radio buttons.
When trying to use a page with radio buttons..they were not appearing.
Cause: Microsoft Silverlight plug-in that was installed along with free Flip4Mac software.
Solution: Remove file 'Silverlight.plugin' from /Library/Internet Plug-ins
(Also, the plug-in was taking over display of Quicktime movies replacing Quicktime's controls.)

PSE10 Organizer crashes when using the "find a missing person" button

I have been using PSE10 for about six months and have about 10500 images in the catalog, mostly digital but also some scanned slides I have been gradually adding. All images have been added using the "find files" button. I have been making use of tagging by using the people recognition routine and have reached the point where PSE10 says all people have been found. Since then I have gone through about 1000 individual images using the "find a missing person" button with good success until recently. Now when I try to save the tag after using the button Organizer crashes with the message "Elements 10 Organizer has stopped working. A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and will notify you if a solution is available". I have tried optimizing and repairing the catalog without sucess. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling PSE10, also without success. The catalog is in a custom location but has been since shortly after I started using PSE10 and well before this problem started. With the amount of time and effort spent doing this tagging I would not like to have to start over with a new catalog if a solution can be found. My computer is Vista 64-bit with 8GB memory. This problem is driving me nuts!! HELP!!

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. There were several error entries for PSE all of which had the same description up to but not including "process ID". This was the result of restarting PSE10 several times. Information above is from the last restart.

Missing tool buttons on Property Inspectator

I'm using Dreamweaver CC 2014.1 and having trouble with missing tool buttons within the property inspector. These icons, such as the Italic button, disappeared. I know, crazy right?! I feel i must have pressed something to make them disappear. Can anyone out there tell me how to get these button icons back on my property inspector. Please!

It's definitely not the HTML button. I wish it was that simple. It is also not because it's a different version because I looked on screen examples of CC 2014.1 and it has these buttons for sure. Thanks for trying though.

Missing Flash Button

I am at a loss as to why, when I added a new button to our
index page, it
does not appear when uploaded. If I push F12 and load it from
the file all
is well.
I have checked that I have same setting on the button.
Please can anyone tell me how to make it appear.
Please do not give me a lecture about the fact that I should
not be using
flash buttons etc. I still want to use them on our site for
the time being.

Missing 'group' button

I'm using a trial version of '09. Everything ran smoothly until I noticed that the 'group' button was no longer available - it's simply not there. The last action was 'Edit - Special Characters...' but I don't know for sure if this is relevant. Quit - relaunch - same problem. Tried to open that file in '08 - "file corrupt". Carried on working on the file in '09 and I'm limping along.
However - just noticed that '08 is now missing 'group' button too! Time to try a reboot (pretty rare event).

OK ... so I've just found out how to add the group button back to the toolbar - but the fact remains that I'm sure I didn't remove it in the first place. Answered, but possible bug?

Wrong "Composer" button

In iTunes suddenly the 'Composer' button shows '%2$d nieuwe afleveringen (%1$d totaal)'. See screenshot:
Being a former programmer I recognize the %1$d as probably being an identifier, where %2$d means the amount of new episodes ('nieuwe afleveringen' Dutch) and %1$d the total amount of episodes. Strange, because pushing the button gives an overview of the composers. So the button works OK, but the text on the button is wrong.
I've done a search on my harddisk, and I found a file 'Localizable.strings' in the iTunes.app. In this file there are the following lines:

"163.236" = "%2$d nieuwe afleveringen (%1$d totaal)";
It appears that the iTunes.app shows this string in stead of the name 'Componist' ('composer' in Dutch). The answer is possibly to change something in this file, but I don't know what...

I'm not able to reproduce the issue that you're seeing.
1. Make sure all your apps are up to date (Apple menu > Software Update)
2. If the issue persists, I would recommend downloading iTunes (www.apple.com/itunes/download/) and giving it a fresh install.
If the issue persists, I would recommend contacting Apple. Even if you are not eligible for phone support, they would be happy to report the issue to engineering who can take a look at it, and get a fix out in an update.

When composing new email (gmail) tool bar showing fonts, colors, bold, italics, underline, etc. is missing? When using Internet Explorer the bar is there.

When using Firefox, the tool bar above the "compose mail" window is missing. I cannot change fonts, use bold, italics, underline, change colors, align margins, etc. When using Internet Explorer the bar IS there but I prefer Firefox, as it is much faster. My operating system is Vista.

... and using the format toolbar...
... and in both cases, Bold and Italic is greyed out... (bit hard to see in the second screenshot, but it is, honest!)
The mail message is def set as Rich Text, which you can see in the first screenshot, as the option to Make Plain Text is there...

When I click on Compose in my gmail acct. I get the error #000. Then nothing works. Gmail info sent me to you.

When I am in my gmail acct. and click on "Compose" the box comes up and I can type in it, but an error message #000 appears at the top. It says it will retry in "so many minutes" and never does. It just adds time. The retry button only adds to the time in the "so many minutes." You can type in the compose box but it will never send and then nothing else will work. I click on the inbox and it will not response and the same with the other buttons.
My husband has an account, too and it doesn't do this. I can click compose, type, and send in his gmail acct.

Blackberry HUB "Show Read Filed Emails" ON AND OFF button SERIOUS Gmail PROBLEM NEED BUG FIX ASAP!

Its been for years (starting from 10OS Version 10.2 ) I couldn't see filed/labeled emails in my Z30/Z10 Blackberry HUB of my Gmail account, but I just downloaded Blackberry Blend and it started to show all my filed/labeled emails, but I still cant see them in my Blackberry HUB! Maybe you can tell me how to make Read Filed Emails visible in Blackberry HUB too?
Blackberry HUB >> Settings >> Display and Actions:
Show Read Filed Emails is ON
Show Sent Emails is ON
Both are turned on, but I still cant see them like on Blackberry Blend.. On search field then I type specific email from filed/label from my Gmail account I immediately finds it, but then I go back to Blackberry HUB all I can see just emails from inbox and single sent emails and YES "SYNC ALL EMAIL FOLDERS" IS SET TO ON AND "SYNC TIMEFRAME" IS SET TO FOREVER (''Sync All Email Folders'' is set ON and ''Sync Timeframe'' is set FOREVER).

I want to see all emails in devices Blackberry HUB like in Blackberry Blend desktop! What should I do to make it happen?
I find out that then I click on the Blackberry HUB > Settings > Display and Actions: "Show Read Filed Emails" to ON or OFF again and again, view in Blackberry Blend immediately changes in order I did ON or OFF, that's pretty amazing, but Blackberry HUB DOESN'T RESPOND AT ALL! As you can see then ''Show Read Filed Emails'' is ON, Blackberry Blend changes and I can see all my emails (and there are a lot of unread ones! (sorry I blurred some of my emails for privacy)), but in my devices Blackberry HUB there is no changes and its displaying the same thing like ''Show Read Filed Emails'' was OFF. I miss a lot of emails and its really annoying and I think you understand why.. Blackberry Blend desktop version is a savior today, but THIS IS NOT A SOLUTION!
Any FIX suggestions ASAP?

I tried a lot of times to delete and sign in again and again, but it looks like only Blackberry Blend respond to every setting changes! Blackberry HUB doesn't respond AT ALL! Devices Blackberry HUB only show INBOX and SENT MESSAGES all the time, but if "Display Style" in Blackberry HUB is set to "Conversation" SENT MESSAGES disappear from devices Blackberry HUB too (in Blackberry Blend is everything FINE!) if they are part of CONVERSATION FILED/LABELS EMAILS!!

How to stop the "Tab Key" from acting as a "SEND" button in gmail

Since installing the Firefox update today, when I hit the keyboard Tab Key in the course of composing an email on gmail, it sends the (!unfinished!) message. I need to disable this "feature". How?

In the compose window if you hit tab you are tabbing through the buttons on the compose window. You have to hit space in order to sent the message. Please check to see if there is a feature in your gmail that is added to the default. Or see if there is an add on that has saved this feature. You can try safe mode to eliminate the add on theory [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]] and reset Firefox if it is a saved application preference.

Attach button on gmail

When i compose an email in gmail, i cant find button to attach files. This is a fresh install without any addons and such!
Please help

Firefox does not control this. Google controls the features of gMail. I would guess that they expect users to use the gMail app included with most Android phones.

Game Center is missing Requests button

Hi all,
I have never opened Game Center before, but I have received a friend request from my fiancee, and in trying to accept it, I discovered that my Requests button along the bottom is missing (see image below. I have "Me," "Friends," and "Games," and that's it. When I tap "Friends," the screen says only "No Friends" (waaah!) and there's no option for accepting friend requests or creating new requests.
Has anyone experienced this before? I wonder if there's a setting somewhere that I have turned off? I checked my Settings, but can find no such thing. I appreciate any help. Thanks!

I just noticed this too, I even rebooted the phone, restoring is not an option for me unless if a new update is out.
I normally don't go into my game center but this morning I did, and there was no request tab or request a friend button.
But here is something that I did. I had restriction on which disabled Game center multiplayer. Therefore, I went to game center, it wasn't there. Now I went back to the restriction, enabled the mltiplayer. Went back to game center, Voila, the request tab, was there. So check on your Restriction settings, and see if this might help?
