Missing Distance Extension Tab

ONS15454 Multishelf running REL 7.22. There are two MXP_MR_10DME cards in shelf one and two MXP_MR_10DME cards in shelf two. On the MXP_MR_10DME cards in shelf one there is a Distance Extension Tab when you select Provisioning in Card View but on the MXP_MR_10DME cards in shelf two the Distance Extension Tab is missing. Exactly the same on another node, Distance Extension present on shelf one but missing on shelf two. As far as I can tell all the cards have the same HW Part # etc.

Try troubleshooting the Safari .plist file.
Go to the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari/Preferences. Make note of all the preferences under each tab. Quit Safari. Now go to ~/Library/Preferences and move this file com.apple.safari.plist to the Desktop.
Relaunch Safari and see if that makes a difference. If not, move the .plist file back to the Preferences folder. If Safari functions as it should, move that .plist file to the Trash.

How to fix privacy and extensions tab that are blank (using Safari 5.1.7)

I have looked at the help provided in this forum for fixing the privacy and extension tabs that happen to now be blank. However, being new to a mac, I was not able to follow those instructions. If anyone can give me some help/guidance, I would really appreciate it. Also, what exactly does the privacy tab do? Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up guest users” (without the quotes) in the search box. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click Log in.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

Why is the panorama tab button missing from my tab bar

Just downloaded Beta 4 and find the panorama button is missing from the tab bar. Your video showing how to manipulate tabs show the button on the right hand side of the tab bar, on my download it is missing why, also some of the other bars shown in your video are missing to, why??

You can add it if you want, right-click on a toolbar and select Customize. You can then drag and drop the "Tab Groups" icon from the customize toolbar dialog onto the toolbars. You can use this method to add other icons to the toolbars.

Missing Content Manager Tab

does this happen to others users (administrators) or just you? And,
have your Portal been recently installed, because accordingly to that
screenshot I think you may not have KM totally configured.
Do you have CM repository and Entry point Providers created?

Missing Clip Preferences tab in Mocha (Updated)

Missing Clip Preferences tab in Mocha. Instead I have Default Camera Settings. Need the former.

Extension tab doesn't display

First Safari extensions weren't showing up. After some help, I was able to get the extensions tab back, but found the privacy tab won't display. I unknowingly jacked another thread, as I'm new at this, so now am posting my own. I'm running Safari 5.1.5 on OSX Lion, MacBook Pro 2009.

Try troubleshooting the Safari .plist file (preferences)
Quit Safari.
Go to ~/Library/Preferences
Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop.
Relaunch Safari. Check Safari > Preferences. If that helped, move the .plist file to the Trash. If not, move it back to the Preferences folder.
If that didn't help, try troubleshooting Safari third party plugins > Safari: Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues

Request available in PSA but missing in Reconstruct TAB

Hi,
Problem occured while uploading delta load of 2LIS_03_BF.
Reason :- Transfer rules were not Active.
Status :- Request is available in PSA( status Green) but missing from Reconstruct Tab. Now transfer rules are active.
We are updating two data targets with 2LIS_03_BF, So request is fine in another target. Please help us to update data target "0IC_C03".

Only for particular day the data is missing. for example 21st dec. And the eariler data i,e before 21st and 22nd data is available in the cube.
The request is available in the cube, but 0 records added compared 4000 transfer records.
when I vaildate the data in PSA, it is matching with R/3 % percent.
What could be there reason?

Directory Editor adding object classes to the Extensions Tab

I'm using Sun's Directory Editor web based product. Under the extensions tab lists the object classes you can add (obviously there are only a select few there). I would like to have shadowAccount available there. I have went through the installation and configuration guide but can't find how to do this. Just wondering if anyone knows how to add custom object classes to this tab.

Disclaimer: that's my feedback under the blog post. I'm trying to figure out how to use DE to maintain an extended schema that includes migrated NIS maps. The overall goal is to migrate from NIS to LDAP as a naming service AND create realistically easy method for day-to-day administration (constantly using the console is out of the question). I believe DE might provide a solution, if custom forms can be figured out. It's been very slow going.
Does anyone else have examples of modifying Directory Editor forms? Any help would be appreciated.

Could be the preferences are corrupted ..
Go to ~/Library/Preferences. Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop.
Quit then relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, move the .plist file to the Trash.
~ (Tilde) character represents your Home folder.
For LIon: To find the Home folder in OS X Lion, open the Finder, hold the Option key, and choose Go > Library

Extensions tab greyed out, yet extension manager indicates the extensions are enabled

Recently downloaded trial version of photoshop cc (wanted my extensions to work before I purchased subscription), I also downloaded extension manager cc.
I installed a particular extension called Kubota Action Dashboard, it is enabled in the extension manager.
For some reason though when I open photoshop cc the extensions tab is greyed out and cannot be clicked on.
Any idea why this is the case? Why is the extension recognised in extension manager but not photoshop itself?

To answer my own question, it appears to be an issue with the maker of the extension and not with the adobe products.
Just found this. It's probably the same with other extensions too, the developers just have to catch up.

Addon Mgr. Freezes on Extensions Tab.

The new addon-manager (about:addons or Firefox>Add-ons) freezes every time I open it to the Extensions tab. Other tabs are fine though. (i managed to get it to a different tab by running
$ firefox-nightly "about:addons?tab=tabulous"
which makes firefox notice the invalid argument and go to the first tab: Get Addons.
I am using today's nightly trunk build (x86_64) on Ubuntu 10.10
I did notice it slowing down recently, and I just installed about 6 more addons, so that is probably why.
I had to kill it each time (I tried about 20 times)

It comes back. It always comes back. This drives me nuts. I have not successfully been able to find any help anywhere. I've gone as far as switching browsers, but none of them have the same expansive feature sets as Firefox. Anyway, it's happening even in 4.0 final. Since it's so impossibly hard for a normal user to get any useful debugging info from Firefox, the best I can tell is that it has something to do with the number of addons. I can recreate the freeze consistently on the 23rd or 27th addon enabled (not installed, but actually enabled).
With 4.0 final I made a fresh profile and it's the same behavior. This for me completely ruins the Firefox experience, and filing a bug in that mess they call bugzilla requires far too much effort from a normal user, unlike Launchpad, where I can just file a bug. Searching bugzilla for anything remotely resembling what I'm looking for is also apparently impossible.
Sorry about the rant, but the inattention given to this issue, which happens on all three Linux machines I have access to is unacceptable and has been happening since at least b10pre.
I am using Firefox 4.0 on Ubuntu and Mint, all 32bit. All my addons are approved by Mozilla and installed directly from their website or through the addon manager itself. All of them are also flagged as compatible with 4.0.

Missing Spry Menu Tab on CS5 using an iMac (only 2 computers cannot see it)

I am using Dreamweaver CS5 on iMacs in my classroom. Two students are not able to see the blue Spry Menu Bar tab. Is there something that needs to be selected in order for them to see it? I thought maybe they missed a step so we followed our book and recreated the Menu Bar on another page. Once the menu bar is complete and you click off, the blue Spry Menu Tab is not available. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

even if there are only two students with these problems, you should follow Ken's hint. One of my most important arguments: "Spry doesn't work correctly on touch screens!" Please try it, you will have a nasty surprise!
