Missing In Actions!!!!!!!
When I click the + icon inthe actions tab (MX 2004), Nothing
happens. I cant get any actions to select from in the norman pull
down. Anyone know why this is?

I could not reproduce this issue, my SharePoint Designer 2013 is working well.
When you create workflow in SharePoint Designer 2013, you can choose 2013 platform and 2010 platform. The
2013 platform include the Utility actions (Find Substring in String, Replace Substring in String, Trim String), but the 2010 platform doesn’t include these Utility actions (Find Substring in String, Replace Substring in String, Trim String).So check
which platform you have used.
And if you didn’t configure 2013 platform for SharePoint 2013 Designer, you need
to configure 2013 platform for the SharePoint Designer 2013, then check if it works.

Missing soap action in the soap axis receiver adapter ?

This handler parameter can be configured as a module parameter for the HandlerBean module associated with this handler. It is noted that this module parameter takes precedence over the channel parameter for SOAPAction if this field is available.

You are on the right path...........yes that is the right note for this issue.
The problem is this is not a general fix that comes with all service packs as the axis adapter is not used a lot, that being said.if you dont see it with sp15..i would safely go apply this fix and see if it works..else you might have to open an oss note for the same...

P.S: On my home system..i did apply the fix and i was on a much higher sp level ..i saw some errors..in the logs but nothing a restart couldent fix.. -
SCCM Client Configuration Tab missing and actions are also missing
Hello All,
Stuck from few days in installation of Client in Secondary Site. Actions are missing in tab and Configuration Tab is also missing.
1. Boundaries and Boundaries Group are properly configured
1a. Client Push installation is performed through Primary Site
2. Client Push Account has Administrative Rights (Verified from CCM Log file)
3. Installation performed successfully (Verified from Log file)
4. Firewall settings are configured proper.
5. WMI repository is consistent.
6. Machine restart several times but no result

The option to Save is missing from action list
Hi,
I am trying to create an action button to Save my file but unfortunately, it seems to be missing from the action list, as shown below:
Can I add the File>Save or File>Save as to this list? If not how can I save this file?
Another important issues is that I will need to be able to save it on both an iPad and a Microsoft based PC, do I have to do anything different?

CarolineI believe this is on purpose. Unless a script is installed on the local
machine of the user you can't save the file silently, ie without their
consent. And such a script is not going to work on iOS devices, only on
desktops. -
Client Actions Tab Missing Client Actions
Hello All,
I just deployed the new SCCM client (Version: 5.00.7958.1000) to a test group in our environment. SCCM successfully uninstalled the SCCM 2007 and installed the SCCM 2012 r2 client. The problem is when I go under the Actions tab there are several components
missing. In my screen shot below the client from my lab on the left has all of the cycles and the one on the right is only has two.
I believe this happen in the lab I cant recall how it was resolved but based on this entry from the ccmsetup.log it has to do with the MP. (slapping myself on the hand for not documenting this)I also notice that ccmsetup.log is referencin

How did you deploy the client? As you are in an environment with both a SCCM 2007 and an SCCM 2012 environment, automatic site discovery will discover the SCCM 2007 site as the boundaries are configured that way.
What if you try to deploy the client using the CCMSETUP.exe SMSSITECODE=xxx then it should find the MP from AD for your new SCCM 2012 site and you should be fine.

I am deploying to a test collection (3 computers) in sccm 2012 r2 using client push.
The SMSSITECODE=XXX is in the correct location:
Sites>Properties>Client Push Installation Properties>Installation Properties Tab
Also spotted this in ccmsetup.log
No valid source or MP locations could be indentified to download content from.Ccmsetup.exe cannot continue.
and in client.msi.log

Today when I opened PS, a Master Action folder I created was gone. Consequently, all the actions linked to key commands do not work anymore. Why did this folder just disappear. All the others are untouched? I pulled out my hard-drive that has my entire Applications Folder backed up. When I tried to use PS off that hard-drive the same phenomenon occurs. What's the connection with this missing folder, why did it disappear and why isn't it on my backed up Photoshop version? It will take me a few hours to reprogram all my keys. Is there anyway to recover this missing action folder?
Any help is greatly appreciated.Did you ever SAVE your actions into an external location? Make an .atn file?
Heres some facts about actions and the way Photoshop deals with them…
• All the actions that are loaded into Photoshop when it starts up are stored in this file: User > Library > Preferences > Adobe Photoshop CS4 Settings > Actions Palette.psp
• If you want to back up your Actions, (very important as you have learned) the best thing to do is is quit, and back up THIS folder.
• If Photoshop CRASHES, and any unsaved Actions will be lost because photoshop reads in the old Actions Palette.psp file.

I don't fully understand what this means, you have TWO Versions of photoshop, on different drives, with different user accounts - and different preference folders?
Photoshop will always use the prefs folder I linked to above to read in all its settings. Christoph seems to have given you the incorrect folder, its not in Application Support -
Hi all,
I am new to Captivate. I have a client that loved a short
demo i did for them on their employee website. It was about 5
minutes and it was flawless. Now, when i had the vice-pres of Human
Resources do the full presentation, Captivate missed an enormous
amount of activity on the screen. He was not blazing around, just
mousing and clicking, and entering text in a normal fashion. Entire
chuncks, i.e. logging in, were missing. I went with "custom size"
recording, sized IE to their web pages and enabled "auto"
recording, etc. etc. Am i missing something here? I cannot ask my
client to sit down and do it again hoping that after the hour it's
there!

I can imagine the frustration. I think once you fully
understand and come to terms with Captivate and its recording ways,
it will hopefully make more sense to you.

Unfortunately, without actually seeing what you were doing it
is rather difficult to ascertain what may be happening. I suppose
it's entirely possible that you managed to start recording in Full
Motion mode with Captivate. Hmmm, as you say you have Camtasia,
this actually makes some sense. When you began recording, did you
press F9? And F10 to stop? If so, those are typically the
keystrokes that force Captivate to begin recording full motion
clips.
When you click Options > Recording Options... what do you
see at the bottom of the Recording Options tab? Is there a check
mark inside the check box labeled: Record actions in real time? If
so, this might explain why a single slide might be timed
substantially longer than others. And as for that "default' slide
time, I believe that only applies to slides you manually create.
For example, by clicking Insert > Blank slide...
Sorry. Sometimes it seems I end up causing more questions to
be raised than actually answering the questions that were posed.
But with a little patience and perseverance, I think we'll get
through it.

I might be missing something rather obvious but I can't find it for the life of me. I have turned off synching (yes I know cardinal sin!) But the local files are consuming far too much disc space (close to 200gb) and I prefer to work in the cloud for most of my services any way as I work on different machines in different locations. Anyway I have thousands of illustrator and indesign files in the online asset repository of creative cloud and while I could be more organised a simple search facility seems to be missing? Is there no basic search function for your own assets on CC? Appreciate confirmation before I look for alternative solutions to tag my files.I love creative cloud so park the hate for asking this question please!

HARD DRIVE ICON MISSING IN ACTION
I have been unable to locate a solution to my current problem. Recently I was attempting to use the disc utility application to erase an external 160GB Maxtor drive and accidentally erased on of my existing internal HD icons from my desktop. I am now unable to find or access the "missing" HD anywhere. However, I do have use of the other HD which uses the Jaguary 10.3.9 OS.
Basically the "missing" drive was initially a clone of main drive as was programmed by Apple when I purchased back in 2004. However, I had upgraded to Mac OS X Tiger along with Final Cut Studio and the included applications of Final Cut Pro, Motion, Soundtrack Pro, Compressor, and DVD Studio Pro. Thankfully, I did not have any saved projects, music or documents that I would need to worry about recovering. Also, I should have all of the install application discs at home as I would assume that I will need to use them at some point. If possible, in attempting to correct this problem I would rather not jeopardize the info that is on the remaining "good" drive. Do you have any suggestions regarding starting from scratch on the "bad" hard drive? Obviously, I am a "rookie" at this but I would appreciate any assistance that you may have to offer in order to get this hard drive back to the point that it was at prior to my big "mistake"!!!

The high-lighted portion is the problem drive and as far as I can tell does not indicate the drive specifically by name in the way the other drive does (MACINTOSH HD). I believe the problem happend while I was attempting to use Disk Utility to erase an external 160GB Maxtor drive by zeroing all data on this drive. However, I inadvertantly selected an internal Maxtor drive by mistake and almost immediately the internal HD Icon disappeared from my desktop. Also, I definitely ejected/unmounted the external drive in the proper manner. Finally, I have never opened my tower to service the G5 so I wouldn't think that there would be a loose or unseated connection. I have not yet tried to boot the Mac to my Tiger installer disc or use the version of Disk Utility on that disc to reformat the drive. Assuming that I start this process and the missing drive does appear in this version, would you be able to either provide or otherwise direct me with a step-by-step guide (the dummy version) as I will admit that I am not the most computer literate person in the world? Also, what might my next step be if the missing drive does not appear in the Tiger version of Disk Utility?

Okay, so you have two identical 250GB Maxtor internal drives, and both drive mechanisms are recognized by System Profiler — but the second one now has no volume(s) on it. The first one contains a single volume called Macintosh HD, about which some information is reported under its name. It appears that both drives are connected satisfactorily to the logic board, so cabling and connections aren't at fault. The external drive isn't involved either, and if it's still connected I suggest disconnecting it before doing anything further, just so it won't get mixed up in the fray.
A volume is not the drive itself; it's a data storage structure on the drive that you create and name when you format and partition the drive. There can be just one volume on a drive, or more than one. If you create two or more partitions, each partition is a volume, and appears as a separate disk icon on the desktop after formatting is done.
In the left panel of Tiger's Disk Utility, what I hope you see is two different Maxtor drive mechanisms listed on separate lines (manufacturer's name and product number appears in these lines) and indented under one of them, the volume called Macintosh HD. There is probably nothing under the other drive mechanism. Select that mechanism. Check its S.M.A.R.T. status near the bottom of the DU window. Is it "Verified"?
If so, these frequently-posted instructions from Discussions regular Cornelius should enable you to format the disk again and get it mounted on the desktop for use. Then you'll have to reinstall whatever you need on it.

Missing Template Handler is missing in action.
After a bit of struggle I found out how to input a missing
template
handler into our aged 4.5 Unix ColdFusion server. I was able
to have it
server up the custom 404error.htm file developed by our web
department.
And this worked, sort of.
The problem was that this HTML file makes use of Apache
<!-- include
virtual...--> directives which, of course, ColdFusion does
not understand.
So, I say no problem, I've dealt with this already before and
expanded
on some existing code that reads the html file and replaces
all these
virtual includes with the contents of the included file using
<cfile...>
tags and reFind() functions. This version even uses a Custom
Tag and
recursion to handle virtual includes inside of virtually
included files.
And this works great!

But when I then went into the ColdFusion administrator and
replaced the
HTML file path
'/rootDir/subDir/subDir/htdocs/errors/404error.htm'
with the corresponding CFML path

ColdFusion starts to display the default ColdFusion 404 not
found error
rather then my specified Missing Template Handler.

Everything you have describe is true. The main point is that
sometimes
people do not want to and that there are reasons not to let
IIS handle
ColdFusion missing templates.
To be as clear as possible, if you have set IIS to check for
the
existence of a cfm file and then throw either a default or
custom HTTP
404 error page this will overwrite anything that could of or
would of
been done with a ColdFusion missing template page.
Sometimes this is a bad thing. For one example, there are
techniques
and development methodologies that build a 'template' or
'response'
completely in memory and a cfm file does not actually exist
in this
case. This is more advanced then many people work with but it
is
possible. In this case your having IIS check for the
existence of a
template would defeat the purpose. Another example is that a
server
wide missing template handler used by the ColdFusion server
can be
passed simple information about the error from ColdFusion,
this does not
happen with the IIS methodology.
So the missing template handler exists for cases where for
one reason or
another somebody does not want to have IIS checking for the
existence of
a cfm template before handing off the request to the
ColdFusion server.
As with many things in life, it is all about choices and what
works for
one person may not work for another.
A common difficulty with the missing template handler is that
it does
not necessarily live in the web server root. It has to live
in the Jrun
(aka Java) server web root which often is different then the
web server
root.
I.E. A common configuration may be this.
c:/inetpub/wwwroot <!-- web server root -->
c:/jrun/servers/cfusion/cfusion-ear/cfusion-war <!-- Java
server web
root --->
The latter is where the ColdFusion server wide missing
template hander
template file would have to live in this example
configuration. -
Missing Link Utility Missing In Action
Missing Link is a utility that allows you to open, run, or launch an application, file, or almost anything else on your Mac from a link or a bookmark in a browser. For example, one of your bookmarks in your Safari bookmarks bar could be "TextEdit" which would, when clicked on, open up the application TextEdit.
Unfortunately (for me, at least), though it worked fine in Panther, Missing Link will not work on my current hardware ... and I miss it so!
Anyone know of an equivalent thing available anywhere? I've done all the normal searches, of course, and have turned up nothing.

Scene Selection Missing in Action
My production of a DVD of movie clips did not successfully include chapters in Scene Selection.
In iMovie, I highlighted movie clips in the clip viewer and added chapter markers via the button below the Chapters panel. The yellow diamonds showed up in the # column of the Chapters panel but in the timeline panel only at the beginning and end (I think).
I then “Shared” the iMovie with iDVD. I tried to get a preview of the movie in playback mode, but the Scene Selection button was not active. There was no filled-in yellow circle adjacent to Scene Selection. Pay Movie did have the yellow circle. I burned a disk image anyway and then burned a DVD using Disk Utility. The movie plays but without the Scene Selection working. I am, however, able to “tab” from chapter to chapter with the “virtual remote”
I must be missing a step. Any ideas?
I am confused in one other area. When I highlight a clip and click on the Add Marker button, does the chapter marker always go at the beginning of the clip? Somehow I got one to be entered at the end of a clip.What you indicate helps. The chapter markers are now shown in the timeline and the Scene Selection in iDVD shows the yellow filled-in circle. But, in Playback mode, clicking on the Scene Selection yellow circle does not allow navigation to the scene menu. The map view show the proper layout, including the 0:00:0 icon for the start. However, the scene selection icon is generic. It does not show my movie. The chapter icons do show my movie. Clcking on the generic scene selection icon does show the selection menu with my movie. And they can be clicked and played.
Your ideas will be appreciated. -
Edit in Photo Shop CS5 option bosx is missing in action?
Hi. When in LR 4 selecting "Edit inPhoto Shop CS5" for an image I no longer get the edit option box to choose "Edit a Copy with Lightroom Settings" . This seems to have vanished in LR4. I would like to re-enable this option. Right now I get a original file in PS/CS5 without the ability to select some other option. Please tell me what I am missing. Thanks.
AllbertIt's actually a pain as ACR 6.7 is not 100% compatible with LR4.1RC2. ACR6.7 (final) ignores the new defringing adjustments. It would make more sense to me if LR gave the option to "Edit a Copy with Lightroom Settings" so that I could open those images I have used defringing on using LR.
The workaround is to set up an export preset to export a tiff with LR adjustments that will be included in the catalogue , and then edit the tiff in PS; an extra step but not too painful. -
