Missing Namespace with the SOAP msg sent by C#

Hi All,
The wsdl file is generated by SAP XI. I used the XMLSpy to test it and get successful response.
Then I used wsdl.exe of .net 2.0 sdk to generate the C# proxy class, and use csc.exe to compile it to a dll, and then refer it in the project. After sent the soap message by C#, the XI shows the message is wrong, then I compare this soap envelop body with the one I sent by the XMLSpy as follow:
C#:
<MT_PP_014_PrdOrderGoodsRcv xmlns="http://mycompany.com/xi/sap/system/pp">
<content>
</content>
</MT_PP_014_PrdOrderGoodsRcv>
XMLSPY:
<m:MT_PP_014_PrdOrderGoodsRcv xmlns:m="http://mycompany.com/xi/sap/system/pp">
<content>
</content>
</m:MT_PP_014_PrdOrderGoodsRcv>
so it is the namespace, according the xml generated by C#, the MT_PP_014_PrdOrderGoodsRcv element isn't inlucded in the namespace http://mycompany.com/xi/sap/system/pp, which cause the error.
Anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks and B'Rgds,

Hi YiNing,
the message created by C# is indeed wrong.
Check that in XMLSpy message, the default namespace is never set and that the message namespace is set to prefix "m" and that only the root tag is included in this namespace. All the other tags have no namespace (since they are not attached to any namespace prefix) or have the default namespace, which was not set.
On the other hand, in the C# message, the default namespace is set in the root tag. The root tag is related to the default namespace (it has no prefix) and hence it has the proper namespace. However, the other tags are also related to the default namespace (no namespace prefix) which was set. So these other tags are the erroneous ones.
Try to check that in your proxy, but it seems like a bug in the proxy generator application.
Just as a test, send the message from C# in a request from XMLSpy (replace the automatically generated message inside SOAP Body). The same error would be expected.
Also as a test, send this message in XMLSpy:
<MT_PP_014_PrdOrderGoodsRcv xmlns="http://mycompany.com/xi/sap/system/pp">
<content xmlns="">
</content>
</MT_PP_014_PrdOrderGoodsRcv>
Regards,
Henrique.

  • Default namespace in the SOAP sender adapter

    Hi All!
    Sorry for the following really easy question but what is the default interface name and default namespace in the SOAP sender Adapater? The name of the interface to where the adapter should forward the received SAOP message?
    it means that for every soap message a new communication channel should be created. Or only one channel is enough?
    And in the receiving case only one is enough or for every web services a new receiving communication channel need to be created?
    Thank you for your answer.

    Hi,
    q) what is the default interface name and default namespace in the SOAP sender Adapater?
    Ans) Soap Sender does not have any default namespace and interface.  That can be set at Sender Agreement.
    q) The name of the interface to where the adapter should forward the received SAOP message?
    Ans : That message is forwarded to Adapter Engine and then to integration Engine. That takes interface in sender agrement and Namespace.
    it means that for every soap message a new communication channel should be created. Or only one channel is enough?
    Ans:  For sender, 1 communication channel is enough. For Receiver, if you have 10 different systeems, then  you need to create those many receiver communication channels .
    And in the receiving case only one is enough or for every web services a new receiving communication channel need to be created?
    Ans : Same as above
    Note  Soap message is not criteria for creating channels....  Please note that .. soap communication channels creates soap messagae.

    I am trying out this in XSLT, but I am not sure how to add the SOAP Envelops and these Envelops are Static.
    Can someone help me out in this.
    Joe

    But if you look at the SOAP Envelop Structure below it is not XI generated SOAP Envelop. IBX (3rd party) has its own standards, so XI has to Produce the SOAP Envelop according to their standards.
    I have created the XSD with SOAP Envelop stucture with what ever structure 3rd party wants, but the problem is when Creating the SOPA Envelp tag, where it has a ":" where its not allowing me to create the valid XSD. And at the same time 3rd party is not in position to give us even WSDL file and we are not using  Webservice call and they are not able to provide the XSD with SOAP envelop structure.
    I thought of going for XSLT and started doing as well with what ever XSD 3rd party has provided, which does not have the SOAP Envelop structure and has only payload XSD structure.
    80% of the SOAP Envelop structure is Static, it does not change. Only 2 fields keeps changing. IS there any solution that we can create XSD with the SOAP structure with Special Character ": "or is there any way in doing in XSLT.

  • Help, how to monitor the soap message sent by JAX-WS

    Hi,everyone:
    I want to monitor the soap message sent by JAX-WS using apache TCPMon.
    For example, the JAX-WS is deployed on port 8080 , I make TCPMon listening on port 4444 and send soap request to port 4444 using JAX-WS.
    Code in client:
    @WebServiceClient(name = "JAX_WS", targetNamespace = "http://www.example.org/JAX_WS/", wsdlLocation = "file:/E:/zwz/EclipseWorkspace/JAX_WSDemo/WebRoot/META-INF/JAX_WS.wsdl")
    public class JAXWS_Service extends Service {
         private final static URL JAXWS_WSDL_LOCATION;
         private final static Logger logger = Logger
                   .getLogger(demo.client.JAXWS_Service.class.getName());
         static {
              URL url = null;
              try {
                   //URL baseUrl;
                   //baseUrl = demo.client.JAXWS_Service.class.getResource(".");
                   url = new URL("http://localhost:4444/JAX_WSDemo/JAXWSBean");
              } catch (MalformedURLException e) {
                   logger
                             .warning("Failed to create URL for the wsdl Location: 'file:/E:/zwz/EclipseWorkspace/JAX_WSDemo/WebRoot/META-INF/JAX_WS.wsdl', retrying as a local file");
                   logger.warning(e.getMessage());
              JAXWS_WSDL_LOCATION = url;
         public JAXWS_Service(URL wsdlLocation, QName serviceName) {
              super(wsdlLocation, serviceName);
         public JAXWS_Service() {
              super(JAXWS_WSDL_LOCATION, new QName("http://www.example.org/JAX_WS/","JAXWSBeanService"));  //JAX_WS
         @WebEndpoint(name = "JAX_WSPort")
         public JAXWS getJAXWSSOAP() {
              return super.getPort(new QName("http://www.example.org/JAX_WS/","JAX_WSPort"), JAXWS.class);  //JAX_WSSOAP
    }But i get the exception:
    Exception in thread "main" com.sun.xml.internal.ws.wsdl.parser.InaccessibleWSDLException: 2 counts of InaccessibleWSDLException.
    java.net.SocketException: Unexpected end of file from server
    java.net.SocketException: Unexpected end of file from serverAnd the TCPMon doesn't receive anything.
    If i use Axis2, the TCPMon will work fine.
    I cannot figure out how to configure the webservices.
    Could anyone help me? Thanks a lot.

  • How to compress the soap msg?

    hi, all
    now we need to compress the soap msgs to improve the comm. speed, do u have some good ideas?

    now I have solved this problem.Use GZIPOutputStream & GZIPInputStream to wrap the original underlying stream.
    maybe it's not a good way.I am seeking more flexible and better method,because i found it hard to detect wheather a stream is comppressed or not.

  • Problem with the namespace in the soap message ' xmlns:p1'

    Hi,
    I have released a WSDL file which the siebel system is consuming to send the data to SAP XI .
    the extract of the WSDL file is as below
    <b><?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <wsdl:definitions name="MI_Customer" targetNamespace="http://ofcom.co.uk/unify/CustomerMaster" xmlns:p1="http://ofcom.co.uk/unify/CustomerMaster" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"><wsdl:types><xsd:schema targetNamespace="http://ofcom.co.uk/unify/CustomerMaster" xmlns="http://ofcom.co.uk/unify/CustomerMaster" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"><xsd:element name="MT_Customer" </b>
    if we see in the there is a attribute called xmlns:p1 which is creaing the problem as data sent is as below
    <b>  <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    - <!--  Inbound Message
      -->
    - <MT_Customer xmlns="http://www.siebel.com/xml/MT_Customer" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    - <Customer>
      <Cust_No>0005000013</Cust_No>
      <Title>Mr.</Title>
    </b>
    due to this the XI system is not triggring the mapping.
    as XI expects the data in the below format which we generated with the stylus studio tool
    <b> <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    - <!--  Inbound Message
      -->
    - <p1:MT_Customer xmlns:p1="http://ofcom.co.uk/unify/CustomerMaster" xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    - <Customer>
      <Cust_No>1232</Cust_No>
      <Title>mr.</Title>
    </b>
    If anyone has any Idea as to how can we overcome this problem
    Thanks
    Nikhil

    just a thought..... did u try removing xmlns:p1="http://ofcom.co.uk/unify/CustomerMaster" from your WSDL file ?
    Try to remove that and proceed in your development.

  • Oracle ESB 10g : Blank namespace in the SOAP Response from DB adapter

    Hi All,
    I am currently working on a ESB project to route input XML file as a parameter to a DB Function.
    This Function has a input parameter of type XMLTYPE and returns VARCHAR2 values.
    I have configured the DB Adapter to invoke this function and return the result as a SOAP response.
    The WSDL of DB adapter contains XML_DATA as input and XMLMAIN as the output result.
    The ESB project works fine as expected. But in the result from DB adapter contains a blank namespace [xmlns=""] for the XMLMAIN element .
    I hereby attach the output XML.
    Please help how to remove this blank namespace from the output.
    We are using SOA Suite 10g 10.1.3.5
    <env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <env:Header/>
    <env:Body xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/adapter/db/XXWEB/XMLMISCRCPTINSERTPKG/XMLMAIN/">
    <OutputParameters xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    <XMLMAIN xmlns="">100</XMLMAIN>
    </OutputParameters>
    </env:Body>
    </env:Envelope>
    Thanks and Regards,
    Justin Michael Raj

    well..the problem is..the db adapter has it's own transaction..so the transactions fails or not.
    you're just not capable of checking if the transaction went ok...and return 'process completed ok' or when the transaction failed for some reason return 'the process aborted'.
    So you just need some extra steps for it to be able to return some response-message

  • File upload with the SOAP Axis Framework

    Hi,
    my scenario is as follows:
    ERP --> PI --> System A (3rd party application)
    ERP sends data (IDoc) to the PI and is mapped there to a xml structure expected by A.
    IDoc --> PI --> target xml structure
    On A runs a Web service (Axis Framework) with a method uploadFile that expects one parameter (client of A) and the file for the upload has to come as attachment (call.addAttachment).
    I imported already the wsdl and can see the message uploadFile in the IR. The Axis Framework is also available already in the SOAP adapter.
    So I have
    IDoc --> PI --> target xml structure
    but want to call
    PI --> uploadFile(client) \[with the target xml structure as attachment\]
    How can I map the parameter to uploadFile and get the mapped xml structure as attachment?
    Thanks and regards
    Patrick

    Hi,
    thanks for your answer. The PayloadSwapBean could be a solution for the problem and I will try to use it.
    Here is another (simplified) version of my scenario:
    I have one source interface with three data fields
    SD1
    SD2
    SD3
    This should get mapped to a target interface with two data fields
    TD1
    TD2
    So if a source message arrives at PI a Message Mapping is called and the message gets mapped to the target structure.
    The result of this mapping should get the attachment of a Web service call.
    In a sample client for this Web service it looks like:
          Service service = new Service();
          Call call = (Call) service.createCall();
          call.setOperationName(new QName(... "uploadFile"));
          call.addAttachmentPart(...);
    The target interface of the Web service is the message uploadFile in an imported wsdl file. This interface has one data field
    WSD1
    and is independent of the other data fields.
    For filling WSD1 another mapping is necessary (or maybe not?).
    Regards
    Patrick

  • Problem with the SOAP adapter !

    Hi!
    We are trying to use a WebServices from XI.
    In the WSDL file that we have imported and use'd in
    our mapping the information about the soap header look's
    like this :
    <wsdlsoap:header message="impl:serviceRequest" part="toCountry" use="literal" />
    <wsdlsoap:header message="impl:serviceRequest" part="fromCountry" use="literal" />
    <wsdlsoap:header message="impl:serviceRequest" part="language" use="literal" />
    <wsdlsoap:header message="impl:serviceRequest" part="customerCodeOwner" use="literal" />
    <wsdlsoap:header message="impl:serviceRequest" part="customerCode" use="literal" />
    <wsdlsoap:header message="impl:serviceRequest" part="userId" use="literal" />
    <wsdlsoap:header message="impl:serviceRequest" part="userPassword" use="literal" />
    But then the message leave the SOAP adapter
    it looks like this:
    <SOAP:Envelope xmlns:SOAP='http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/'>
    <SOAP:Header/>
    <SOAP:Body>
    <ns1:serviceRequest xmlns:ns1='http://www.dnbnordic.com/brg/NRGDecisionSupportDSC/wsdl'>
    <nRGDecisionSupportDSCRequest>
    <ns2:criteria xmlns:ns2='http://www.dnbnordic.com/brg/NRGDecisionSupportDSC/request'>
    <ns2:socialSecurityNumberApplicant>XXXXXXXXXX</ns2:socialSecurityNumberApplicant>
    <ns2:conversationCode>X</ns2:conversationCode>
    </ns2:criteria>
    </nRGDecisionSupportDSCRequest>
    <toCountry>XX</toCountry>
    <fromCountry>XX</fromCountry>
    <language>XX</language>
    <customerCodeOwner>SYD9001</customerCodeOwner>
    <customerCode>XXXXXXX</customerCode>
    <userId>XXXX</userId>
    <userPassword>XXXXXX</userPassword>
    </ns1:serviceRequest>
    </SOAP:Body>
    </SOAP:Envelope>
    The SOAP header info. is in the body !
    Ofcourse the message fails !!
    Any ideas ??
    //Stig

    Hi Stig,
    Although specified in the WSDL 1.1 spec, the use of soap:header is quite rare.
    And having a soap header consisting of multiple parts and not referring to single XSDL element is a bit in conflict with the document/literal approach.
    Bottom line: please try and convince your business partner to not use the soap:header trick and stick to standard document/literal web services.
    Kind regards, Guy Cretgs

  • Missing songs with the Sync functi

    Hello,
    I've got a 20GB Zen Touch with the newest v.x firmware. (hahaha from 2004)
    Mediasource says I have 3672 songs, when I goto Sync all of my audio files and playlists, it only comes up with 349 songs...
    Why?Message Edited by RealyPssd on 2-07-2005 06:24 AM

    SSR wrote:
    Interesting idea, but the software shouldn't allow you to copy two tracks with the same artist, album and title data.
    Hi SSR
    The mediasource software had absolutely no problems copying them at all. The filename on my PC was different as the track number is part of the filename but the Tag info had the same Album, Artist and Track Name (Though a different track number). Mediasource had no problems recognising the different tracks but the Zen player recognised them as if they were the same and so ignored one.
    I ran into this a LOT ripping my CD's. I have a large number of audio plays where the track title is often named after the location of the scene. As the same location is used a few times each "episode" there were in some cases an album (with same artist name) which had 3 or even 4 tracks with the exact same title (Though different track number).
    In all cases, Mediasource wasnt phased at all but the Zen Touch would only allow one of the tracks on it. If you tried to copy direct, it gave you the option of skipping duplicate names or renaming them. If you used the audiosynch, then it just ignored them as it thought they were allready on the player.
    Mediasource never had a problem with any of them and I think across my whole collection I will have had approaching 00 duplicate file names.
    Took me a while to go through and find the common cause with the annomalies and even longer to go through and alter those titles. Now I check the titles each time I rip a cd as it only takes a couple of seconds at that stage.
    Now Ive altered all the titles, botht the normal transfer and the audiosync work perfectly. Mediasource works as good as ever too.
    Hope this info helps others. Im genuinely just reporting the experience as Ive had it and on my pc the theory does test exact.
    If anyone is interested I can list a few of the cd's it happened with so that you can have a go yourself if you have the same cd.
    Really I dont see this as a problem with the software or player. Its just a quirk of how some of the info has been entered on Gracenote. I suppose the only way to completely solve it would be to include the "Track Number" in the criteria for recognising duplicate tracks. I guess this would be a firmware issue.
    Cheers
    Alex

  • Can you call apple to track a missing ipod with the serial number?

    i lost my ipod or soeone must have stolen it..i did not have any tracking devices or gps apps on it...can apple track it through the serial number?

    Change your iTunes (Apple ID) password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod.  If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number).  If any passwords are associated with your bank or any savings institution, contact them also and discuss approprate action with them.
    The "Find my..." function is pretty much useless if the device is in the hands of a thief.  All that is necessary is for the thief to connect to any computer with iTunes and "Restore as new."
    The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself.  This requires action before the device is lost/stolen.  Something as small as an iPod should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries.

  • Async r3- xi- soap problem.. no soap msg sent from SOAP receiver adapter

    Hi guys!
    I have an issue with SOAP scenario. I have ABAP Proxy->XI->SOAP async scenario. When I send msgfrom r3, it arrives into XI, but no SOAP message is sent to the target url. In the SXMB monitor, the flag is delivered The status of adapter is not valid. error: target url is invalid. messages crash at timeout. But when I test it from other tools, the target web service worx fine. One more info: we use stand-alone adpater engine. I tried it also on the integrated one, but it didn't work.
    Sync scenarios work fine: SOAP->XI->R3->XI->SOAP.
    Any ideas, what could be wrong? Are there some special requirements, for message interfaces (do they need 2 b sync??) or something else?
    Thanx, Olian.

    Hi Michal!
    First, I even didn't know about this monitoring tool    it's gr8.
    Well, I found error: MP: exception caught with cause com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: Server did not recognize the value of HTTP Header SOAPAction:
    Any idea?
    I'm going to study something about it, but if you know, let me pls info!

  • Remove xml namespace in the SOAP channel

    Hi gurus,
    Maybe my question is simple but unfortunately no ideas in my head how to solve the problem easily.
    I have a SOAP receiver channel to some external Internet application, send data there and synchronously get the response. The problem is that response contains the link to namespace of this application like this "xmlns="x-schema:http://someapp.com/schemas/response.xml" and XI is able to save this response in file BUT UNABLE to do mapping - I've got an mapping error that fields in result MT couldn't be filled in. I use XMLAnonymizerBean in this SOAP channel but it works only for outgoing message and not for incoming.
    Is it possible to remove this xmlns information from response without complicated for me java and xslt mapping?

    Hmmm..  So you just send SOAP request to some URL and get response. Is response also SOAP message? Well, you write, you are able to receive the message, so it should be ok.
    Ok, i'd suggest you - check the namespace of incoming document. In Message Type dialog there is a parameter: Document Namespace. Put the appropriate namespace to this text box, save, activate, ..try
    Peter
    btw: what is the exact error you are getting?
