MITI Bridge Integrator Source

Hi Experts,
I am trying to extract IBM InfoSphere DataStage metadata into SAP IS central repostiory for metadata managment impact and lineage analysis. For the i created MIMB integrator source with IBM InfoSphere DataStage type and used DataStage extract DSX file to import the metadata. The integrator source connection is succussfully created without any issues.
Then I ran the Integrator Souce to start extracting the metadata, the task is running from hours and still continueing. The Database log of the task is shwoing as below, and from there it is not moving further.

  • Powerdesigner Integrator Source hangs forever

    Hi,
We're struggling with Powerdesigner integration. We use PD16.5 and IS14.2.2.412
The Powerdesigner Glossary is synchronised succesfully to Information Steward.
However,  as soon as one model is added to the PD repository (conceptual, logical or physical), the synchronisation hangs forever.
The integrator source seems to loop forever:
    - sets a lock every 10 minutes,
    - log some audit records
    - wait 10 minutes.
We have tried different repository content scenario's,  even with one physical model, containing one entity  the synchronisation loops forever.
Synchronisation with BO Webi, SAP DS, SAP BW and HANA works fine.
I have attached the log file (in the end, we have aborted the loop).
The proces sometimes aborts with the message "Could not obtain batch lock after configured retries"
    Any suggestion appreciated.

Create a new account (systempreferences -> accounts or Users & Groups on 10.7)  and see if the problem is repeated there. If it is, then a re-install of the app might be indicated. If it's not, then it's likely the app is okay and the problem is something in the main account.

  • Integrated Source Control doesn't honor given username after restart of LabVIEW

I don't really like the integrated Source Control of LabVIEW 8.20 due to some missing features and failures which happen. But for a presentation I had to get some practical information. As SCC API provider I selected Microsoft Visual Source Safe for an example project. While playing around I noticed following bug in the implementation for LabVIEW.
All given information to access the SCC provider is saved inside 'labview.ini' (which is IMO not the correct place, especially when you are working with different projects). As user I selected 'admin' and not the logged on system user. Access to the repository is granted within the current session and I can do all operations. But if you restart LabVIEW it cannot access the repository because it uses the system user and not the given username to log into the repository.
If you wan't to work with the integrated Source Control each user who should get access to the repository should have an own user account with the same username as his Windows account.
This is one of a number of bugs since a couple of versions which don't let me use the integrated Source Control.
    Henrik

Due to following items I don't want to work with the integrated source control:
    1. All SCC options are stored inside the file 'labview.ini'. That makes you unimpossible to work with different projects without reconfiguring the SCC again and again. Each project should hold it's own SCC options which overrides the LabVIEW global SCC options. If you are working without projects the global SCC options should be used.
    2. If you don't have access to the repository (e.g. network disconnected) you get an error message each time you open a vi (last tested with 8.0 a long time ago). LabVIEW should silently fail and give me at maximum one alert that the connection to the repository cannot be established. Opening the SCC options you can see that everyting is resetted while the correct configuration is still located inside the 'labview.ini'. You have to delete them manually inside the configuration file.
Both parts are already reported to NI in february last year.
    3. Comparing two different versions of one file is not working unless you compare the current local version with the latest version inside the repository. Using subversion I can do that by integrating metadiff and lvdiff. It is more than helpful.
    4. You have to use an external scc client to create a branch or tag.
    5. That's a personal thing but I like the way of using update/commit instead of checkout/checkin.
Dunno if I remember all the things I missed while testing the integrated source control some time ago.

  • Is a Video Card Much Better Than Sandy Bridge Integrated Graphics?

    Windows 7 Pro 64bit
Does Photoshop benefit much from an Intel Sandy Bridge I2500K CPU computer having a video card?
The Sandy Bridge CPU, of course, has greatly improved on-board graphics compared to prior incarnations of Intel's CPUs.
If a video card is useful for PS, how powerful ought it be to achieve a good cost/benefit ratio, or which one is recommended? (the so-called sweet spot of price and performance)
Does it matter whether it's an AMD or NVidia type?

Do either of you two (Silent785 or Mylenium) have personal experience with a Sandy Bridge integrated GPU?  Just wondering.
I have not evaluated a Sandy Bridge GPU myself.

I've found that you want a video card that scores at least 500 on this benchmark for best Photoshop performance, ideally 1000 or more:
    http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/
The specific card I'd recommend right now today is a VisionTek ATI Radeon HD 6670 1 GB GDDR5, because it's a great compromise between quiet/low power operation and high rendering speed.
As an OpenGL developer of 2D graphics software myself, I can tell you that in my experience ATI makes the best structured, most stable display drivers (and are least likely to break something with a new release), followed fairly closely by nVidia.  Intel has been a distant third, but one can imagine that if they're integrating GPUs on their processors now that they might better-fund a development team to make their OpenGL implementations more solid.

  • ERP Integrator Source Informations

    Hi All,
I would like to know whether ERP Integrator will support the External feed file(from any other source system) to Hyperion Applications. ERP Integrator will support all ORACLE ERP & HR Modules, but in terms of external system likes Customized ERPs it will support or not. I understood from the below content, it will support the external system through Open Interface Adapter. I couldn't find any document on Open Interface Adapter.
Anyone having the experience on the above scenario, Please share your experience and let me know is there related document or URL..
I got the below content from the Oracle documents:
ERP Integrator supports general ledger data for:
    Oracle E-Business Suite 11i
    Oracle E-Business Suite 12
    Oracle Fusion Financials
    PeopleSoft Enterprise Financial Management 9.0
    PeopleSoft Enterprise Financial Management 9.1
    PeopleSoft Commitment Control
    SAP ERP Financial
    JD Edwards General Ledger system
ERP Integrator supports human resource data for:
    PeopleSoft Human Capital Management 9.0
Integration includes data load and drill through. The integration is supported for the following SAP ERP Financial modules:
    General Ledger
    Profit Center
    Cost Center
In addition ERP Integrator provides support for Open Interface Adapter. The Open Interface Adapter allows you to import data from any source system using the interface table.
    Thanks,
    PC

    Hi All,
Got the Answer, The ERP Integrator will support external feeds files through FDM as well as they introduce Open Interface Adapter for flat files in new version(11.1.2.2). Please refer FDM ERP I read me document for more details. Currently i dont have any information for Open Interface Adapter. I will let you post the same once i got the reference materials.
Thank you for all your support.... :)

    @ Wilhelm

  • MIT Kerberos integration via Oracle ASO for Instant Client

Is Oracle planning on adding support for the Oracle ASO module (specifically for the use of MIT Kerberos authentication) to the Oracle Instant Client?
Last time I checked (about 2 years ago) they had not, but I'm hoping they are working on it.
Update: I originally posted this back in Feb 2007, and now it's June 2007...... No replies..... Does anyone know if Oracle will add support for MIT Kerberos Authentication to the Instant Client?

I haven't seen many requests of ASO support being requested for Instant Client nor have I heard of it being included any time soon (in any Instant Client-related press). You should pose the question to Oracle support or your Oracle sales representative.

  • Weigh bridge Integration

    HI
How we can PO - Good Receipt through Weighbridge ( MettlerToledo-8142 PRO ) in ABAP .  without using VB program ( Visual Basic).
    thanks
    Thomas

    Hi,
you can use the RFC HU_GET_RFC_DATA to retrieve the weight from a scale connected to the user's PC via a com (RS-232) port. You can use this RFC from a custom ABAP for the GR process or in a user-exit.
You can view sample code here [RFC HU_GET_RFC_DATA|http://www.en.pocketprograms.com/support/abapsamples.aspx] example.
    Good luck !

  • MQ Series, Messaging Bridge, weblogic 7.0

              Hi all,
I have seen other postings about this with some clues as to why I am having this
problem, but I still can't seem to resolve. I have already tried to gleen some
clues from the documentation that comes with the beta bridge to be used with 6.1
(wls_mqseries.pdf). Has anyone configure Weblogic 7.0 successfully with the new
Messaging Bridge? If so, could you summarize your steps and settings?
I used the JMSAdmin tool to bind the factory and queue objects and setup the destinations

  • Image Processor Tab Missing in New Adobe Bridge CC 2014

In the new Bridge CC you used to have a TAB under tools called Photoshop which you could run the script Image Processor for easily processing jpegs. What has happened to this and is their maybe a new way of processing jpegs to lo-res that I dont know about from tiff or jpeg or does my bridge have a problem?
I have attached a image grab from my bridge that shows that the tab is not there. I know that you can access image processor directly from Photoshop, but they used to always be linked.

No, it is still in Bridge CC.
Did you uninstall Photoshop CC after installing Photoshop CC 2014? If so, that may have removed some of the Bridge integration scripts by mistake. Re-installing Photoshop CC 2014 should replace the scripts.
and it should give the image processor tab back

  • How do I use Perforce Source Control on a substituted drive

    Hello all,
I am wrestling my way through using perforce as an integrated source control package in Labview.
The path has many potholes but seems possible.
    My latest challenge:
    Substituted Paths.
In a professional source control environment there are many users with many views/workspaces and it is good proactice for each one to have a unique name [user][machine][branchname][myprojectstructure]
Labview is notorious for requiring fixed, absolute paths due to the way .vi's remember their callers, my previous practice using IBM/Rational clearcase was to substitue ("subst B: ." ) the project root [myprojectstructure] to another drive, say B: for example.  This makes Labview is happy as the paths are now fixed, the developer is happy as they don't have to check out a miriad of files.
This practice is widespread in the embedded software development world and isn't exactly innovative.
    Perforce
Clearcase integrated into Labview works seamlessly, you just point the path to the substituted drive and all is well.
    Perforce, not so much.
The setup options within labview whilst being intuitive and easy to use, don't appear allow this method.
Does anyone know how to do the equivalent in Perforce?
    Thanks in advance,

    Thanks John,
I will see if this works
I hadn't thought about substituting the drive first and then populating the workspace.
I can see that this implimentation requires discipline,
There is a significant danger of refreshing the wrong workspace and trashing modified files.
