ML single-level determination problems

Hi,
we have some problems about single-level determination:

Hi
Single level price determination is to calculate the unit price of material for a period. It takes into account the price differneces arising out of Price Differences like GR/IR Differences, Exchange Rate Differences, and revaluation differences to calculate the actual price of  a material.

  • Single level and multi level price determination

    Hi,
Regarding single level and multilevel price determination, how system is arriving the figure of some portion to single level and some portion to multilevel. Can any one clarify the concept.
    govind.

    Hi
    Find below my clarification.
Multilevel price determination calculates the periodic unit price for a material. The standard price, the single-level differences cumulated in the period, the differences between planned and actual prices, as well as input material differences (multilevel differences) are all taken into account. The material price calculated in multilevel price determination can be used for inventory valuation.
    Follwing are Prerequisites\
    The material ledger is active.
    Actual costing is active.
The price determination indicator in the material master is set to 3.
The price control indicator in the material master is set to S.
Single-level price determination has been performed.
    Following are the fartures
A level is identified by a material and its associated procurement process. Multiple levels are the result of one material being used in another material. These multiple levels are reflected in the actual BOM that is created in the costing run in the step Determine Sequence.
In multilevel production, both single-level and multilevel price differences exist. If one material is used in another material, and single-level price differences exist for the input material, this results in multilevel price differences. In this way, differences are rolled up from raw materials through semifinished products to finished products. This solves the problem of follow-up costs.
The price calculated through price determination is updated as a periodic unit price (V price) in the Accounting 1 view of the material master record The price control indicator remains set to S. The standard price does not change.

  • Material ledger single level run error

    Hi All,
During last month ML run, we faced a problem. For some of the Material of certain Material Type even Single level run could not be done. On analysis we found that for these materials previous periods ML run was not done. We are not sure why in previous months system did not select these materials for ML. Because in the Change data for Material master there is nothing of that sort which discriminate those materials in the earlier periods but picked the same in the last period.
Now we have closed last month ML with errors for those materials, but we cannot let this continue for future months.
Can any one tell me how to exclude those materials in future runs, because those materials are not to be used for any movement in future and the stock balance has already been made to zero.
And give the probable cause, or where can we find the reason why those materials got picked last month ML run but not in periods prior to that.
    Regards,
    Vaskar

    Thanx Karl,
Firstly this is to inform you that for most of those materials there has not been any movements for past few months and not even in the last month. So I am not able to understand what change has triggered system to select those materials in the last month but left out in prior periods.
Secondly I am not able to understand the MLHELP_SET_PP_STATUS_70 thing. I have never used it and I am not sure whether we have it installed or not. Is it an add-on to standard SAP? Please tell me how can we run that report. Or if not installed, is there any other way by which we can change the status of the Material to 70.
    Thanks
    Vaskar

  • Displaying non-level determining dimension attributes in bibeans with cwm2

In the bibdemo example (defined using the CWM API), the attributes PROD_COLOR and PROD_SIZE are defined as dimension attributes of the Product dimension. They are then available to bibeans applications for use in the query editor/match condition (as where clauses e.g. where Size = LARGE).
When I define OLAP metadata objects using the CWM2 API, my non-level determining dimension attributes are not available in the bibeans query editor.
Has any one exprienced this problem? Is there a work-around or code fragment that explains how to get dimension attributes defined using CWM2 to work in bibeans apps.

basically there are list and hierarchical dimensions.
the first type doesnt have a hierarchy, so some sort of special case of the 2nd.
i used attributes on list dimensions successfully in the past.
the only thing i had to do is nevertheless define a "artificial" level.
let me know if you need more,

  • Item Level Determination

    Hello SAP Gurus,
I have a small confusion, we can do header level determination for ORG, Partner, so why we need Item Level determination for Org., and Partner. Once the partner determination is done in header level during transaction then is it necessary to do the determination of org and partner in Item Level.
Please help me to solve this problem.
    Thanks and Regards
    Rahul

    Hi,
If you need partners to be copied from header to items ,please check note 845528,which explains for the
    partner inheritance.
But sometimes as per your requirement you may need different partners for different products so you can have partner determination at item level.

  • DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SINGLE LEVEL AND MULTI LEVEL COSTING

    Sir,'
Please explain the difference between Single Level and Multi Level Costing in Detail
    thanking You

While using material ledger, we can use the single level or multi-level price determination for valuation of inventory.
Procurement processes are used in Product Cost Controlling to determine procurement costs and to present those costs. Purchase Order, for example, is single-level procurement and Production is multilevel procurement.
Single-level material price determination calculates the periodic unit price for a material. The standard price and the cumulative single-level differences of the period are taken into account. Single-level material price determination takes into account the differences that arise directly when a material is procured.
Multilevel price determination calculates the periodic unit price for a material. The standard price, the single-level differences cumulated in the period, the differences between planned and actual prices, as well as input material differences (multilevel differences) are all taken into account.
Single-level material price determination  is a prerequisite for Multi-level price determination.

  • WC27 - Single Item, Single Level(?)

    Hello,
I would just like to ask if there is a way in transaction WC27 (for MRP Batch Run) to only run Single Item, Single Level Materials during processing?
I ask because I have a requirement (in addition to filtering material codes) to only run single item, single level entries for WC27 similar to MD03 but the customer wants the batch run feature.
Hope to hear from you soon.
    Regards

    Hi,
As it is correctly answered by the gurus above that it's difficult/not possible to run Batch structured MRP for only run Single Item, Single Level plannings..
Hoiwever it can be mapped with the help of ABAPer to ask him/her to do some coding for standard report RMMRP000 .this is a standard ABAP report available within your SAP system (depending on your version and release level).  there is also some   standard documentation available for this report and a few details of other objects it interacts with such as tables, function modules, includes etc. If you would like to see the full code listing simply enter the object name( RMMRP000 ) into the relevant SAP transaction such as SE38 or SE80
Within the comments section below there is also an opportunity for anyone to be able add useful hints and information specific to this SAP object. This means that you and other users will be able to find these details quickly by simply searching on the object name.
Hope it could work for you.
    All the best!

  • F110 and Bank Determination Problem

    Hi Expert,
I have problem / question on the bank determination problem on F110, as follows:
    My Payment method (PM): N
Ranking order for PM: N is:
Rank 1: House Bank is ... ABMB
    Rank 2: ABMB2
    Rank 3: ABMB3
    Rank 15: MBB
In my F110, at my setting for printout/data medium, variant created (Program: RFFOD__S) for PM:N and for House Bank: MBB (Not ABMB).
    Question:
I have vendor open items of PM:N, and when I run the F110 (using the above setting / variant) , why SAP always clear the open items using house bank ABMB, and not MBB?  I expect F110 will use house bank MBB, as I set variant for program: RFFOD__S is MBB for PM:N.
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Regards,
    sbmel

    Hi,
Payment program will select house bank from bank determination which you made for your payment method and house bank combination.
The house bank you have entered in payment media program variant is used to generate payment advice or payment media. It has nothing to do with house bank through which you want to make this payment.
For any reason you want to make payments to the vendor using specific house bank you can enter house bank ID directly in vendor master data.
    Thanks!

  • Agent determination problem

I have a workflow that has been in production for almost a year.  We are in the middle of integration testing for another rollout and I'm getting agent determination errors in this workflow.  There are three steps involved.  The first two use the exact same rule.  The first of these two works fine.  When it tries to run the rule again for the second step, it gets no agent found.  If I test the rule it works.  If I restart the workflow, it works.  When it moves on to the third work item using a different rule, it errors out no agent found.  When I test this rule, it works.  When I restart at this step, it also works.
This is a new integration client that was copied from production.  I've performed the standard workflow customization like I always do.  I've run several other workflows and only notice the agent determination problems in this one.  The workflow hasn't changed in months although there have been some user security changes...I'm not sure how that could really affect the agent determination during the creation of work items.
One thing that might be important...userA created the first workitem and the agent determination resolves to userB.  When userB executes the first work item and completes, the second work item should also resolve to userB using the exact same rule.  This fails.  I restarted it using my account and it resolves to userB.  UserB executes work item #2 and work item #3 should resolve to userC but the agent determation fails again.  I don't know whether the work item agent is "used" to perform the creation of the next workitem or not but this is the only difference between the first two work items and one works while the other does not.
It's almost like userA can perform the agent determination but userB cannot.  I can't manually execute the agent determination as userB so I ran se37 as myself in debug and changed SYST-UNAME to userB and it worked fine and returned userB as the agent.  That would seem to eliminate security as an issue with the agent determination.

    Hi,
Are you absolutely sure that it is not an authorisation issue? Can you give SAP_ALL (and the possible structural authorisations) to all the users that are involved in the process? (I don't think that changing sy-uname in debug mode to another user really is a correct way to try to prove whether this is an authorisation issue.)
The agent determination of the following step is executed by the previous WF agent, if there is no background steps between. So if the previous agent doesn't have enought authorisations, the agent determination will fail.

  • Only one Custom field is missed in  Service Level Determination

    Hi
I have extended Service Request BO with 4 field, one field is ID type and rest of field are Text type.
in Service Entitlement-> Service Level Determine-> adapt column, "Decision table configuration" under the available column I can see all the extended field( SDK & KUT), but only one extended field(ID type) is missed.
Could anyone explain how to bring that field there.
    Thanks
    Sunil Maurya

    Hi Bharadwaj,
Thank you for your inputs. I executed the program but it didn't display the field.
But I was able to rectify it by re-creating the steps mentioned in the blog (see original post). I had missed giving correct positions to the custom field.

  • Single level planning

What setting to be done for single level planning of following BOM.
    M1
        M1.1
               M1.3
        M1.2
               M1.5
When MRP is run for M1...it shud create planed order for M1 only.....and when MRP is run for M1.1 then it shud create planed order for M1 .1 only...similarly for M1.2.

    JJ,
Lets see, you are using ETO, which by design is a multilevel planning process, using project/WBS as MRP segments, but you want to only plan the first level, and then the second level, at your discretion?
Standard SAP does not support this requirement.  To me, it seems to defeat the whole concept of project planning.  However, I will assume that you have a valid business requirement.
I suggest you speak to your developers to create a specialized selection userexit for MD01.  You could craft it to select only M1 material.  You could also craft it to select only M1.* materials on a subsequent run.  Specifications of the selection process would have to be created by you.
Standard userexit for MD01 can be found in IMG>Production>MRP>Planning>User Exit Material Selection for planning run.

  • Aggregation level on single level basis or multiprovider

    Hello,
we use IP 7.0 and have a planning cube for CO-PA data, as well as a multiprovider combining the actual cube and the planning cube for COPA data. We need to implement a planning tool in which planning simple planning functions are needed on the single basis (copy, revaluation, multiply, manual planning ...) as well as on the multi-provider (top-down with reference data).
-> on which level(s) should we define the aggregation level? Do we need to define it on the multiprovider (in order to do the top-down) or can we split it up (single level and multi-provider) and define a workbook with a manual planning function on the single level AND including the top-down based on the multiprovider?
    thanks
    Dries

    I agree with Gregor,
I think it is more logical to configure your Aggregation Level on top of your Multi-Provider, especially since you already have a need to view ref data from Actuals to perform calculations on your Planned.  You can always restrict your 'simple' functions to the appropriate InfoProvider.
As for the FOx question, you can always restrict to each InfoProvider when writing your FOx (either inside the FOx code or using the FOx conditions).

    Zane

  • Row level security problem.

Hy all, I'm new to Oracle and though i've google it a lot I didn't manage to find a solution to this problem:
I'm using sql developer and Oracle 10g.
I have this two tables :
    CREATE TABLE HR_employees
(codHR NUMBER(3) CONSTRAINT pk_hr PRIMARY KEY,
    coddep NUMBER(4) not null,
    DB_user VARCHAR2(10),
    and
    CREATE TABLE Candid
(codcan NUMBER(2) CONSTRAINT PK_candidat PRIMARY KEY,
    codHr NUMBER(3) NOT NULL,
    CONSTRAINT FK_CODHR FOREIGN KEY (codHR) REFERENCES HR_employees (codHR) );
I tried to implement row level security on them by using two views:
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW employees_v AS
    SELECT * FROM hr_employees
    WHERE DB_user = user
    UNION
    SELECT * FROM hr_employees
    WHERE codhr=(SELECT codhr FROM hr_employees WHERE db_user=user );
    AND coddep IN (4000,5000);
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW candid_v AS
    SELECT cand.*
FROM candid cand , hr_employees hr
    WHERE cand.codhr= hr.codhr
    AND hr.db_user=user
    UNION
SELECT cand.* FROM candid cand, hr_employees hr
    WHERE hr.coddep=(SELECT H.coddep FROM hr_employees H
    WHERE H.db_user=user
    AND H.coddep IN (4000,5000) );
What I want to do is to disconnect and connect with another user from SQL Developer and see different fields based on the user and the department, Sql developer doesn't seem to recognize the user connected to the database..everytime I receive a no row selected statement, only when I connect with SYS and put the actual username WHERE H.db_user='SYS' they seem to work. I have created the tables with SYS and granted Select on the views to the users, the users don't have privilegies on the actual tables.
Sorry for the bad english,it's a foreign language to me ,
I hope you can help me

    Hi,
Damorgan is right: "Row level security has nothing to do with views" in the sense that the two are independent. You can have row-level security with or without views, and you can have views with or without row-level security. dbms_rls is a very useful and powerful way to implement row-level security, and you should check it out, but it's not necessarily the answer to all row-level security problems.
I'm not sure I understand your problem beyond the need to restrict user A's access to two tables.
If which rows user A is allowed to see depends on the results of queries from those same tables, including rows that user A is not allowed to see (that is, you need to do sub-queries with some other user's (let's call this user B's) privileges), then you can do those sub-queries in stored procedures.
Stored procuderes can run with the privileges of the procedure owner, regardless of who is calling them. Using a function called user_codhr owned by user B, you could define a view like this:
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW employees_v AS
    SELECT * FROM hr_employees
    WHERE DB_user = user
    OR    (   codhr = user_codhr
          AND coddep IN (4000,5000)
);If the results of the function will be the same throughout the session, you can call it once, at the beginning of your session, and save the results in a SYS_CONTEXT varaible or a global temporary table.
If you need more help, post a more detailed example of the problem, such as "With this data in the table, B should see all rows but A should see only ...".
