  • Changing the Condition type Text in the Purchase Order

    Hi SAP,
    Hi,
    We have a requirement where by we need to change the Description of the condition type text in the Purchase order.
    The condition type is a entered at item level.
    Normally this description comes from the Condition type Definiton i.e., T685T-VTEXT.
    can any one of you suggest a User exit or a method where by we can change this text at PO.
    Has any one of you came across such situation before. if so please provide me with your inputs.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I think it is a config setting..Please check with your functioal consultant regarding the same.. I won't suggest to change the standard SAP table T685T but you can keep it as last option .
    From SPRO you can follow the below path
    Sales and Distribution->Basic Functions -> Pricing > Pricing Control -> Define condition types.

  • Intercompany Text-Based Standard Purchase Order from Production Order

    We have a business scenario where a material is made in a plant and then another plant performs a service on that material.  The customer wants the purchase requisition that is created from the production order from the producing plant to apply a vendor that is an intercompany vendor.
    The issue is, these purchase orders are text based purchase orders.  This process works perfectly when there is a material master.
    Scenario:
    Plant X = Production Order to make Material A
    Plant X = Production Order creates a purchase requisition in Plant X; Intercompany Vendor is assigned
    Buyer = Creates the purchase order from the purchase requisition
    Error Message: SAP issues an error message that this vendor cannot be used.
    We are looking for a way to create a text based purchase order (that represents a service) and assign to a intercompany vendor.

    The exact error message we receive is:
    Diagnosis
    You are entering an ordering transaction involving a vendor to whom a plant has been assigned. Normally, materials would be supplied by one plant to another in such a transaction.
    This process involves a delivery and billing document in the SD system. The PO for this appears directly in the delivery due list of the issuing plant (vendor) and therefore does not need to be transmitted.
    However, items without a material master record cannot appear in the delivery due list.
    Procedure
    Items without a material master record can only be ordered from vendors without a plant assignment.
    The point is if we create a vendor without a plant assignment, how can the inter-company posting be accommodated.

  • Partner details are not getting captured to the purchase order from the ven

    Hi,
    Issue : ( ECC PO)
    Partner details are not getting captured to the purchase order from the vendor master.
    We found that the partners are not getting captured in ECC PO's automatically from the vendor master. We checked for all the config and everything seems to be o.k, but could not figure it out.
    Any suggestions are highly appreciated.
    Regards
    Sudhakar

    Hey Sudhakar,
    I believe what is happening here is that the ECC PO document type has not been assigned to the partner determination procedure.
    If this is working properly for standard POs, then,
    Go to Partner detrmination under Purchasing>  Partner Settings in Purchasing Documents> Assign Partner Schemas to Document Types.
    and enter teh appropriate document type and refer it to the procedure you have for NB Pos

  • How To Prevent the Purchase Order from Holding!

    Hi Experts,
    We use the method CHECK in BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST to check custom data in purchase order, if error occurs then some error messages will be issued. We use below statements to issue error messages and also set the PO invalidate:
    INCLUDE mm_messages_mac.
    mmpur_message_forced 'E' 'ME' '083' text-097 '' '' ''.
    CALL METHOD IM_HEADER->invalidate( ).
    ch_failed = 'X'.
    Actually the BADI works well. But we try to prevent the user from HOLDING the purchase order if the BADI issue the error messages. It seemd that we can not get over this problem by BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST. Can any friends give me some advice on the problem?? Thank you in advance.

    Hi Faheem,
       Thanks very much for your help. Your idea really works, but other problem occurs if we use this idea. If we issue an error message in EXIT_SAPMM06E_013 to prevent PO from being holding, all the PO data ( include header and items etc,) are cleared by program.
    At last, we negotiated with users and take a non-program step to prevent the PO from being hoding.
    Thanks.

  • Change message on the Purchase Order from a warning to an Error

    Dear all,
    I am working in a global client and I would like to change a specific message (06205 - Effective price higher than material price > 20%) from a warning to an error but only for some specific users.
    I know that a message can be changed to an error message on SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Environment Data ->Define Attributes of System Messages, but this would mean that the change would affect all the users.
    I would like to know if it's possible to make it as a warning just to some users and if yes, the detailed steps to it.
    As any of you did such configuration?
    Thanks in advance.
    Joã

    Hello,
    You have to create a new version (01) in the exact IMG spot for Error message. Then assign user paramter (SU3) 'MSV' with value '01' to those users who should get errors.
    Thanks,
    Venu

  • Add pre-saved text to selected Purchase Orders

    Hello Gurus. I have a question.
    I know that I can have a Purchasing Text saved on a specific vendor so that every time I create a Purchase Order for that particular vendor, the text will be included and printed.
    What I'm looking for is a text that I can have pre-saved in the vendor, but only have it printed on certain occasions. I'd like to be able to selectively "activate" the text in the Purchase Order so that it appears in the printout, only when I need it.
    It's a long text, so it wouldn't be effective to manually type it in each new Purchase Order.
    Do you have a suggestion on how to achieve this?

    If you want to control what kind of the text is transfered to the Backend,please also check the BADI below:
    BBP_LONGTEXT_BADI in SRM side,BBP_INBOUND_BADI in R/3 side) to transfer the vendor text and internal
    notes.
      i) BBP_LONGTEXT_BADI   > used to map the long text field to BAPI strcture based on the copy rules (defined in the method GET_COPY_RULES)
      ii)BBP_INBOUND_BADI    > used to map the long text with BAPI_POTEXITEM which is available in R/3 system. RFC call to SRM is not required which would lead to performance issues

  • Passing Data to the Purchase Order Style Sheet

    I am new to oracle so please pardon my ignorance.
    I was tasked with switching the Purchase Order from transmitting via a 3rd party application to using XML Publisher.
    I was able to get the PO to generate successfully and I have made a few minor changes to the standard XSL-FO. What I would like to do is send down additional fields (messages that can be changed more easily from within the application without code changes).
    We are on version 11.5.10.2. but this is a layered upgrade, so their report builder version is 6.0.8.25.0.
    I think I figured out how to get the data i want to be added to the xml created by POXPRPOP.rdf.
    My confusion stems from a lack of understanding of how the xml created from POXPRPOP is translated into XML Publisher.
    The original report was generating the following XML before I switched the PO Output Format in Purchasing Options/Control from Text to PDF:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <!-- Generated by Oracle Reports version 6.0.8.28.0
    -->
    - <POXPRPOP>

    <POH_VENDOR_ID></POH_VENDOR_ID>
    <POH_PO_NUM></POH_PO_NUM>
    <POH_REVISION_NUM></POH_REVISION_NUM>
    While, the PO stylesheet appears to be expecting the following format as defined in the PO_STANDARD_PO.xml document defined in the Standard PO Data Definitions:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!-- $Header: PO_STANDARD_PO.xml 115.0 2004/08/12 15:33:28 nipagarw noship $ -->
    <!-- dbdrv: none -->

    <END_DATE/>
    <NOTE_TO_VENDOR>Terms Supplier Note</NOTE_TO_VENDOR>
    <DOCUMENT_BUYER_FIRST_NAME>Pat</DOCUMENT_BUYER_FIRST_NAME>
    Is the XML that was originally being generated from POXPRPOP different now that I changed the output format? If not, how is the original XML being translated to match the correct format as required by the stylesheet?
    Thanks,

  • How to bring 'Firm' Purchase Orders from legacy system through PDOI

    Hi
    we are interacing the purchase orders from a legacy system through Open Interface i.e PDOI.
    Here i have to enable the Firm_Flag for all these PO before converting to oracle. I found that there is a column firm_flag in po_headers_interface table , but when i am populating taht column to 'Y' also, the firm flag at the PO window , by clicking the Terms button, is not reflecting.
    Please let me know why PDOI is not picking up the value at the header table. Any help is really helpful.

  • Quantities captured in Purchase Order from Sales Order

    Hi,
    Here is the scenario:
    1. Sales Order: Ordered 2 units of item A.
    2. Item A in warehouse = 1 unit. Therefore, I'm short of 1 unit.
    3. Tick Purchase Order in the logistic tab.
    4. When I click Add sales order, Purchase Order confirmation window appear.
    5. Quantities captured in the PO confirmation order is 2 units.
    The quantities for PO should be 1 unit, isn't it?
    This is weird. I tested this a few days ago. The PO only captured the quantities that I'm short of, not the full quantities.

    Hi Joyce
    As per your scenario if there are two items in sales order and if u make a purchase order out of it it would have 2 items in it
    because it does not take into account the MRP aspect it directly links a direct link between sale and purchase order in the backend and also there exist a link between line items and there quantities
    if u wana run the system eeping in mind the MRP concept then u would require to run the purchase order from MRP
