Modification Comparison for SAP object

When we try to modify the program /DBM/MT_TILL_FUNC_D2063, reports the following message
u201CCarry out modification comparison for REPS /DBM/MT_TILL_FUNC_D2063 first. No changes possibleu201D
We just update our DSAP BM 6.00 system to service pack SAPK-60007INDBM from SAPK-60005INDBM.
Before this update was made, we were able to modify the programs, and there was not necessary for a registration key, know on it is necessary to input this key, we input the key from the marketplace, but still we canu2019t modify it.
We already try to do the recommendation mentioned, but the object doesn't show in the browser panel.
What can I do to resolve this issue?

   This message is caused because there is/are some object locking the object DBM/MT_TILL_FUNC_D2063 . So to check what action is necessary to take to do so you need to check if the objects are notes or just reuqests:
    - Transaction SE16
    - Table SMODILOG
    - List all entries for object DBM/MT_TILL_FUNC_D2063
    - There you will see for each record field OPERATION
    - Check all entries that contains OPERATION = 'NOTE'
    - On field MOD_NAME you can check the note number - last 4 digits are note version
    - Upload this note via SNOTE transaction.
    - This action will update system entries and unlock the object

I don't know how to use SPAU to adjust it ? and I donn't know where is the tab 'stoplight'.
Anyone could help me how to resolve it ?

Could you please tell us that in recent days have you upgraded patch of any SAP component in your system? Please check in your system is there any SAP Note in inconsistent status in your system. You can see the status in tcode SNOTE.

Version comparison for BW objects

Hello guys,
How to see versions of BW objects like, Infocube, Multiprovider, datasource? I wanted to do the version comparisons for few objects in Dev with respect to Production. How do I make sure that both have the same versions and there is no harm in transporting it from dev to prod.
In case we already did the changes in dev before checking the comparison, what do we do?
Please give me complete process of version comparison and where exactly I could see for versions.

Unfortunately, there is no tool delivered with SAP BW that provides the ability to compare objects across the landscape. There are some third-party tools that provide this functionality.
You could create your own by create an ABAP program, or several ABAP programs, using the following BAPI Function Modules to get the details of the objects in each environment and then do a comparison:
InfoCube - BAPI_CUBE_GETDETAIL
InfoObject Catalog - BAPI_IOBC_GETDETAIL
InfoObject - BAPI_IOBJ_GETDETAIL
InfoPackage - BAPI_IPAK_GETDETAIL
InfoSet - BAPI_ISET_GETDETAIL

i have a concern,i have to implement a user exit in tcode j1iin in the FM J_1I7_USEREXIT_CALC_EXC_BASE .now when i try to bring in change mode it says

...how do i do the modification comparision. i have checked with SPAU and SE95 tcodes but iam unable to compare.please can anyone provide brief explanation and help?

Hi ,.
Once You go to SE95 Give the package name as - J1I2 and Execute .
If some Note has been applied for the package (Whcih Contains your FM) then it will show following nodes
Note Corrections
With Modification Assistant
Without Modification Assistant
Appends
So you need to find under whcih node Your update for FM exits .It must be Visible in red .
Now goto Menubar >>Goto >>Modification Adjustment .
once you adjust ,the FM should become Editable .

The newest version is the RWD info Pak 5.7. There is another product of RWD, the Help LaunchPad (it's necessary to do a transport and a customizing in SAP).
You can take all in the swdc of SAP.

      Can anybody help me out. I am new to upgrade project. I have made all the adjustments in SPAU, but left out with one object.
     I have chosen reset to original for this object. When I want to add some custom code. It is not allowing me to do so throwing an error saying that " The object is still in upgrade mode." . It is not locked under transport #, but it is stored in smodilog table under my name.
     I am not able to see this object even in SPAU transaction, to correct my actions.

What package for SAP object PROG MMCHPLAN

When I implement note 99569 using SNOTE, I cannot save it to package Z001 which used for all notes applied before.
I got the message below:
SAP object PROG MMCHPLAN cannot be assigned to package Z001
Message no. TO142
Diagnosis
Object PROG MMCHPLAN is in the name range reserved for SAP. The object cannot be assigned to package Z001, since it belongs to a different name range or namespace.
System Response
Editing is terminated.
Procedure
Assign the object to an SAP package whose name begins with A-S or U-X.
If you want to create the object as a test object, you can also assign it to a local package (1st character = $) or a test package (1st character = T).
Does any expert know what package shall I choose for it?

role modificaton done for some objects, when execute the suim for change document for roles with option "authorization data",out put is not showing old value and new value.we are using ECC 5.0,report is showing only objects modified.how to know the old values and new values?

Message "Carry out modification comparison... No Change possible" and SPAU

Hi
I'm trying to manually implement SAP note 1400194 and 1428579 both need to amend the Include RPCP45GD.
Every time you try and open the Include in edit mode to apply the changes manually you get the message
"Carry out modification comparison for REPS RPCP45GD first. No Change possible"
So I run SPAU... but the object RPCP45GD does not exist in SPAU so I can't do a modification comparison on something that's not there !
Any ideas how I should proceed ?

Modification assistant is on, otherwise SPAU would not work...
Activated object but had no effect...
However I did find a note in SPAU that was unreleased that related to another note that seemed to change the include I am looking at. This may be the reason why it's locked.
SAP's modification assistant is about as useful as a hole in the head !

Modification Comparison - No Changes Possible

Hi,
I have a program which has been modified (SAPLRSM1) with the implementation of a SAP note 987566. This has made a change which has appended two parameters to an include, which is giving a syntax error.
SAP Note 990672 looks to fix the problem by removing one of the parameters, but I cannot implement this note as it seems to be obsolete, and has the status Implementation Status: Cannot be implemented .
I know exactly where the error is in the code and in the short term want to comment out the parameter which is giving me an issue, but when I go to change the include, I get the message:
Carry out modification comparison for CPUB CL_RSCRT_RDA_TOOLS first. No changes possible
I have ran the modification comparison, but I do not get any further options.
Could somebody tell me where I am going worng and whether it is possible for me to make this change in this way.
We have SAP helping with some work which we are doing on our new 2004's box, but I need to get this part working urgently.

Version management for SAP Screens?

Hi,
I need to do version comparison for sap screens .
My source system is R/3 4.7 & Target system is ECC 6.0.

For front end SAPUI5 CODE in Elipse or RIVER RDE you can use GIT which is pretty standard way of doing code management. Once you push the code to GW it is in BSP and then you dont have much control on the version management side. If there are multiple developers working on front end code then you can push to GW using ABAP Team Provider plugin in Eclipse that pushes the sapui5 code to BSP via workbench request and once 1 developer is done then he/she will submit the code. the next person then does the GET from GW into their Eclipse to get the latest version of source code. But if there are 10 changes to the sapui5 code then on front end side you should use GIT or BitBucket or MS Team Share kind of source code control tools that integrate with ECLIPSE.
For oData Service you can do version management in ABAP stacks. you can have multiple versions for your service and then deploy to prod the one that you are sure of. Std change management can be used for backend GW service development.

Find exact package for saving the workbech request for std SAP object

Hello friends I have edited a std SAP prog for printing the import PO(got access key from market place).After editing while creating transport request I am not able to find the package to which it should be saved.now the problem is that How to move that program to our quality server.

are you sure you modified a standard SAP object. /1BCDWB/ prefix is common with all quick view reports - they are local and user-specific. You can convert a quickview to query to report. Using a modification key you may add it to the standard - choose a package as you prefer. But better copy the generated query report to customer name space - because it never was and never will be SAP standard. If it is in customer name space, release changes are no problem at all.

EWA for Business Objects (XI 3.1) within SAP Solution Manager

We use Business Objects (XI 3.1) and would like to get weekly a EWA report within our SAP Solution Manager.
Our SAP Solution Manger has only ABAP stack and it has the SPS version 25.
We also do not use Wily Introscope/Diagnostics and E2E tools within SAP Solution Manager.
Question
Is it possible to set up EWA for Business Objects with our requirements (SOLMAN with ABAP stack and without E2E/Diagnostics tools)?

So this is a requirement. There are also pdf documetns attached to this note that describe how to setup the EWA in Solution Manager. EGI_SBOP_EWA_part1.pdf and EGI_SBOP_EWA_part2.pdf.
The fact you have no Java stack and have not installed Diagnostics, just means it has not been done. It can be done and then you can do a managed system setup, and the balance of tasks required to prepare the system and Solution manager to generate EWA reports for the BOE system. Its just more work, not a show stopper.

Can i use the SAP standard package for lock object creation ?

I want to create a new lock ojbect for my abap program .
When i completed the creation , SAP required a new request and it said the object only can be imported to SAP standard package .
But i saw the help from SAP said :

Hi Carlos...
First , You will never be able to use any standard SAP Package for your custom programs. So don't go for it.
So in your case what you need to do is , when you save your Lock object ,
- if you want Transport request to be created , then
in the screen shown you need to enter the Z package name (the same package as that of your ABAP Program)
or
-if you want it to be stored as local object , then
specify package as $tmp
