More song in imatch then on computer

I been downloading music on to my computer and using the imatch. it has always been a even match of number of songs on my computer compared to the my imatch. All of sudden i have more song in my imatch then i do on my computer. Is there a way to determine where the extra songs came from

You need to import these songs into iTunes first and then configure them to sync to your iPod. See here for more information.

Music takes up more music on iphone then on computer

hey everyone just wondering if this is normal i have 8.8 GB of music on my itunes and when i click sync on my iphone it says 8.8 GB of music but when its done syncing it will say that there is 10.6 GB of music on my iphone. Is this normal?

Nowhere have I found anything that shows the space taken by "music" on the phone.
I have found listings for songs, video on the phone or audio, video,apps, other in iTunes.
Where are you seeing a "music" listing?

My shuffle only plays a few songs and then stops. ihave to hit shuffle again to to get it to shuffe afew more song. any ideas how to fix would be appreciated

All it shows is that the tracks SHOULD be OK.
Next thing to try is to restore her shuffle in iTunes and reload.

I have multiple iPod touches but one has 82 more songs on it then the other ones. They all update from the same library and I have checked for duplicate music and unchecked music.

Assuming that all the songs on the iPad were purchased from the iTunes Store, you can transfer the purchases to your iTunes library. First you will have to sign into and authorize iTunes for the Apple ID that you used to buy those songs if it is a different Apple ID.

Keep in mind that only songs puchased with the Apple ID that you subscribed to iTunes Match with or were imported to iTunes will be available in the cloud.

I have an apple tv 3 but when i use Home Sharing from my Windows Laptop the Apple TV shows all my music on the TV but it will only play 1 or 2 songs and then stops!!! Annoying, so I have to re-start iTunes on my Laptop and it will play 1 or 2 more songs

Next, plug the Apple TV into your computer with a micro-usb cable (most phones today use these) and start up Itunes. It should detect the Apple TV in recovery.
After that, hold down Option on Apple or Alt on Windows and click Restore. This should open a window that allows you to select the software update you want to apply. Select the one you downloaded earlier.
It will then go through the restore process, which takes only a few minutes, and then you will be able to plug the Apple TV back in to your display and set it up again.
I recently ran into a similar issue with a bunch of these things and after restoring them all to the previous software version they are working again.

Change how it syncs by enabling Manually manage music and videos, then you can drag and drop the music that you want on your iPhone. Revert it back to test to see if that resolves the issue.

Yes, you can!(:
STEP 1: Open iTunes
STEP 2: Navigate to the "iTunes Store". It can be found under the "STORE" tab.
STEP 3: On the right side of the store there should be a "Quick Links" Section. Click on the "Purchased" link.
STEP 4: Navigate to the "Music" tab and click on "All Songs". Then at the bottom of the screen there will be a button that says "Download All". Click the button and your songs will be begin downloading!
NOTE: This will only work with songs that you bought from the iTunes store, if you imported them from a CD, you will have to do it again.
NOTE: You can also do this with Apps, Movies, TV Shows, and Books.
NOTE: You may have to sign in with your Apple ID to verify the download.

TS1363 when I plug in my IPOD into my computer to add more songs, my computer, nor itunes recognizes the IPOD.

try a different usb port, or try the wall charger, change ipod usb wire, turn ipod on to see if the low battery screen pops up by holding onto the switch above the ipod. try that stuff

Only if the songs were bought from iTunes, you use transfer purchases.
If not, you need a 3rd party tools.

Sync to more then one computer

Hello,
this may sound like a silly question, but I was wondering if you can sync the iPhone to more then one computer.
I have a laptop, and a iMac, both are synced to keep each others content merged and up to date.
I want to get some of the music which is on both locations on my iPhone. in the photos and music areas .
can this be done?

No, not for music. The phone can only be synced to ONE music library, but contacts, calendars, and ohotos can be synced to multiple computers easily (Windows, Mac, or both, doesn't matter).
I think it's possible to copy the files form one of your computers to the other (almost like you would do if you got a new computer and were transfering your music library to the new one) to consolidate your library all on one machine.
