More than 2 installations?

Whenever I start my newly installed Photoshop on my new computer I get a message that I have more than 2 installations of this product and I have to remove one of it to activate this version of the SW.
How can I get rid of this message?
Actually Photoshop is only installed on 2 machines (notebook plus desktop).
Does the "count" include the installation of my old desktop (crashed, not active any longer, and in a status which prevents removal of the SW)?

Yes, I had found a similar solution also. I'm running XP Pro, SP3. I went Control Panels/ Add-Remove programmes/apple software update/ change/ repair. Then run the 10.5 exe.
While the programme updated from version 8 of iTunes, my new iTunes is now a mess. Not all of my music was in the same folder previously but it all showed up on iTunes. Now many albums have been left out, some have only a few tracks and some have two copies of some tracks as well as having other tracks missing. I haven't begun to work on that.

It probably means you don't have enough available storage on your phone. It takes space to store the download - THEN unpack it. Best method is to use a computer with iTunes (This allows you to back up on your computer as well).
PLEASE: Do not purchase iCloud storage space - this will not give you more room for the iOS 7.1 installation.

Hi,
I'm referring to the first executable. In other words, I have my application and I want to build and executable of it. Then I go to "Tools->Build application..." and then in the source files tab I can add my vi files but I want to add more than vi at the same time (at once) and not one by one. How can I do it?
And my second question is: When I make the installer for my application I save the configuration in a build Script file (.bld) in order to use it whenever I want. Then If from another computer different from the one where I generate the .bld file, I load it, LV tells me that something is wrong (LV says there are some errors in some VIs but It doesn't tell me what files are). Why?

I am assuming what you want to do is "clone" your ORACLE_HOME on one server to all the others.
Have been doing this since 9i to make an exact copy of ORACLE_HOME in prod for use in test, uat or devt.
The advantage is even you patches get carried over exactly as-is.
From what you have said, this is the first-time install on all servers so it will be a bit easier.
Some prerequisites for this to work easily and smoothly on all hosts you want to install on:
1. Set the oracle user and its dba, oinstall groups to use the same uid and gid respectively.
2. Configure Solaris packages, kernel parameters and oracle user permissions/limits as stated in the installation guide.
3. Setup a common directory structure for ORACLE_BASE (which should not be the same as the login /home/oracle directory)
such as /u00/app/oracle and ORACLE_HOME such as /u00/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1
4. Configure a common inventory directory (usually $ORACLE_BASE/oraInventory)
- this will be copied over also from the first to the other nodes.
5. Configure the .profile of the Oracle user as needed by the install docs (and customize as you wish)
6. Configure a common way of transferring files across the nodes either by:
a. setting up rsh/rcp or ssh/scp equivalence - e.g. you can copy a file as oracle on one server to the other with no password
prompt and the permissions are easily preserved - I use ssh usually and the steps are:
a) generate a key: ssh-keygen - t rsa (just press enter for prompts)
b) copy the $HOME/.ssh/id_rsa.pub to a new file authorized_keys
c) you will later copy authorized_keys to each other node other than the first so that the first server can "push" a file
to them from the first server
b. configure a NAS for NFS or simply setup the first server as a NFS server
7. Configure a directory readable/writable for Oracle to contain files to push to other servers such as /u00/tmp
First, proceed with installation of the software on the first node and apply patches, if any, that you want.
Create a test database if you want to confirm that it works and maybe run netca if needed to make a prototype tnsnames.ora
(you need to setup a listener independently per server).
Then, do a tar cvzf /u00/tmp/ohome.gz $ORACLE_HOME. Also copy into /u00/tmp $ORACLE_BASE/oraInventory, /etc/oraInst.loc
(this may be /var/opt/oracle/oraInst.loc for Solaris) and and /etc/oratab (if any).
Then, on each server other than the first:
1. Copy over the .profile from the first server
2. Copy over ohome.gz either from NFS or else by doing scp from the first server
3. Extract the ORACLE_HOME by tar xvzf /u00/tmp/ohome/gz
4. Copy oraInventory to $ORACLE_BASE/oraInventory
5. Copy /etc/oraInst.loc and /etc/oratab
You should now be able to run everything on the new server when you login as oracle.
As a post install, you can also relink the executables such as the Oracle binary by:
1. cd $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib
2. make -f ins_rdbms.mk ioracle
You can also refer to Metalink note 559304.1 and 565009.1
By using same oracle user id and group across nodes, you avoid the complication and need for Metalink note 558478.1.

Is it possible what you really want to be looking for is NIC bonding / teamed NICs (or MPIP solaris).
This is where two ethernet adapters share an ip address

Having said that I cant see a need for more than one priv IP, but multpile VIP's might jsut be wanted for eg DMZ. (I dont know the answer to that offahnd though).

Photoshop Installer Error "Insufficient Disk Space" but I have more than enough.

I am trying to download the Photoshop CS6 trial. My computer has 2 hard drives, one is full but the other has plenty of space. Yet when I try to install Photoshop, and set it to save on that hard drive, it's not working and says that there's insufficient disk space when there's more than enough on that one. Photoshop tells me I require 1 Gb, I have 600+ Gb, I don't know why it's giving me this proiblem. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I've reinstall the Download Assistant several times, I was sure to assign it to the correct hard drive. Same for installing Photoshop. What else can I do to try and solve this problem?

The process for installing any Adobe software on a second computer is the same as when you installed it on the first computer. As far as activation as soon as you launch any program the activation will take place in the background and if it is successful then the program that you have launched will open and you can begin using it.

ITunes 8.1 Can't Seem to do More Than One Thing at a Time

I upgraded to 8.1 and now, rather than a "faster" iTunes experience as was advertised on Apple's website, iTunes can't seem to do more than one thing at a time without locking up the application completely. For instance, when trying to download podcasts if I choose to hit more than one "Get" button at a time iTunes will freeze up until the first podcast has completely downloaded. During this time I cannot access any other screen in iTunes at all.
This freezing of iTunes also occurred while I was trying to sync my iPhone 3G. I received the Calendar sync error that a few other people have mentioned on the forum and wanted to turn off Calendar sync (since I don't use it and don't understand why iTunes turned it on by default, apparently, after the upgrade) but I had to wait for my iPhone 3G to completely sync before I could gain access to any of the tabs in the iPhone sync window.
So, basically it seems like the new version of iTunes (8.1) really doesn't like to be bothered while it is trying to copy data from one place to another.
Any ideas?

I'm using Vista Ultimate 64-bit and iTunes 8.1 installed OK, but required a restart of the entire OS after upgrading. It takes forever to launch, clicking on certain items (like applications) causes itunes to freeze for about 15-30 seconds before it continues (this is actually something that's been there since the introduction of the app store), I've had to switch my library view to LIST and avoid any sort of album art. Using album art to view my library causes iTunes to be extremely, obnoxiously unresponsive.
The best part - plugging in my iPhone to sync it... iTunes simply sits there dumbly - doesn't even recognize that I've plugged my iPhone in. So now I can't even sync. QUALITY product, quality. So the app I'm FORCED to use to manage my phone doesn't even work after upgrading. Outstanding.
I'm terrified of uninstalling and reinstalling... the last time I did that with iTunes it jacked my library up... it "lost" all of my music... basically it disassociated all of the music (even the stuff purchased through the itunes store) with the index file so I had to re-import EVERY song and delete the duplicate entry.
I searched a ton of forums looking for any clues as to how I could improve performance... All I run into is apple fan boys flaming any and all forums to the point of PC *****, no Apple *****, and so forth. Extremely unhelpful.
The fact is this - if I wasn't forced to use iTunes to manage my non-jailbroken iPhone 3G, then I'd dump it completely. It is a horrible app. Why punish the customers that haven't gone the route of "jail breaking" their iPhones?
One individual on one of the forums suggested that blue screens, and all the other random errors, including slow performance were due to a lack of RAM. I have 4GB of RAM on my machine I can run a virtual Fedora core 9 machine and a virtual WinXP machine on my Vista x64 box and still not have any performance issues with those two virtuals in the background sucking up system resources, yet with nothing open and less than 50% of my 4GB of RAM in use iTunes performance is abysmal. I have not run into any other application on my Vista machine that performs as badly as iTunes.
And Apple is touting a "64-bit" version of iTunes - it isn't. The applications the 64-bit installer installs are all 32-bit.
So, I'm searching as the two of you are for an answer to horrible performance of iTunes.
Even exiting out of iTunes takes a day and a half... "saving itunes library".... And my "library" isn't that big.

Error while running spatial queries on a table with more than one geometry.

I'm using GeoServer with Oracle Spatial database, and this is a second time I run into some problems because we use tables with more than one geometry.
When GeoServer renders objects with more than one geometry on the map, it creates a query where it asks for objects which one of the two geometries interacts with the query window. This type of query always fails with "End of TNS data channel" error.
We are running Oracle Standard 11.1.0.7.0.
Here is a small script to demonstrate the error. Could anyone confirm that they also have this type of error? Or suggest a fix?
What this script does:
1. Create table object1 with two geometry columns, geom1, geom2.
2. Create metadata (projected coordinate system).
3. Insert a row.
4. Create spacial indices on both columns.
5. Run a SDO_RELATE query on one column. Everything is fine.
6. Run a SDO_RELATE query on both columns. ERROR: "End of TNS data channel"
7. Clean.

I have set up a completly new database installation to test this error and everything works fine. I tried it again on the previous database but I still get the same error. I also tried to restart the database, but with no luck, the error is still there. I geuss something is wrong with the database installation.
Anyone knows what could cause an error like this "End of TNS data channel"?

A Cloud subscription provides for installing working installations on two machines. You can have mixed operating systems (both Windows and Apple's OX).

Cannot open more than one window with Firefox

I've been having this problem for a couple of weeks, now, and I've run out of ways to try and fix this.
One day, after starting my computer up, I opened Firefox. No big deal, everything looks fine, tabs are working, etc. Then, when I went to open a second window, nothing. The first window still works fine, I can open tab upon tab, but it just won't open any more windows.
As much as I'm a fan of the browser tabs, I still prefer to have them spread out over more than one window.
I've read through a ton of different troubleshooting walkthroughs and whatnot, reinstalled three or four times, restored settings, but nothing works.
Well, not entirely, I guess. Here's the part that I can't quite figure out. When I disable every single addon, Firefox works just fine. I've done the checking down the list, trying to single one out, but it's *any* addon. Even something as simple as a dictionary search ([https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/68/]) causes this to happen.
I've checked with an older computer with an older version of Firefox, and it still seems to work fine with addons enabled, so I'm wondering if this is an update issue?
Would reverting back to a previous version of Firefox solve this, and if so, where would I be able to find downloads for a previous version?
So, like I said, I'm at a bit of a loss here. Sort of at a crossroads for trying to figure out what to try next, so I'm hoping someone a bit more knowledgeable can help steer me in a direction.
Edit: I just noticed that the posting includes system information with my question. I should clarify that I'm posting this from an older computer with an older version of Firefox. On the computer that I'm having this issue with, I'm using the newest version of Firefox (3.6.8).

Using Adobe apps on more than one account?

Is there a fix forthcoming for the problem running CS4 on Leopard, where you can't use Adobe apps on more than one user account at a time (via fast user switching?) When I switch over to my 2nd account, I get some sort of "licensing error" dialog unless I quit all Adobe apps in my first account, which is incredibly annoying.

Adobe's single-user licensing allows for your installation and
non-simultaneous use on two computers. And the software may think that two different users are trying to use the software simultaneously. You might try contacting Adobe tech support and ask.
