Movie can't find linked movie - path issue
OK, I've spent a few very frustrating hours trying to figure out a solution that's probably staring me in the face. I have one movie (Intro.swf) that loads a second movie (ncjhs_Menus.swf) with drop down menus. Intro has a movie clip with the following script in it:

var url:URLRequest = new URLRequest("ncjhs_Menus.swf"); myLoader.load(url);
Both the Intro .swf and the ncjhs_menus.swf files are saved in a subdirectory called Flash off the root. The html file generated by flash is saved in the root.
When done that way the Intro file runs but does not manage to get the menus file to load. If however I save the html file into the same Flash diretcory as the two .swf files then everything works fine and Intro can call the menu .swf file.
I'm confused as to why it only works if I tell Flash to save and run the html file in the same directory as the two flash files. Can anyone see why it would make a difference? I need to link to the menus from a a number of locations and clearly can't put all the files into the same directory.

So if I understand you correctly, when referencing the menu swf file from the Intro.swf file I should use "flash/ncjhs_menus.swf" ?
I tried that and it didn't work. Did I misunderstand?

Hopefully you can get past the kernel panic screen, there are several
ways to attempt to do that, however if the issue is hardware, a reinstall
of the OS X may not cure the underlying cause of the symptom.

The movie would be in your iTunes library, in the Movies application. However, if the rental period has expired, you may need to contact the iTunes Store Support about your situation:

We have purchased a movie via Apple TV (2) and its taking too long to load, so we want to watch movie on Itunes on the computer but can't find rented movies on the MAC iTunes
Movies rented on Apple TV aren't transferable to another device. If its taking awhile to load then its an issue with your network.
What is your speed via speedtest.net
1080p requires 8mbps
720p needs 6mbps
You can change to SD in settings
Interference can cause issues, verify via istumbler or netstumbler
Should be using ISPs DNS (settings - network - DNS should be automatic) -
I registered a digital copy of a movie on disneymoviesanywhere. I connected the account to my itunes account but I can't find the movie on my itunes account. I'm just trying to download the movie onto my ipod touch.

I rented a movie on Itunes last night and I watched half of it before falling asleep. Today I tried to open the movie and watch the last half but I cannot find it. It has been less than 24 hours since I rented it. Where can I find the movie?

Had the same problem and spoke with Apple Support. They had me reset the System Management Controller:
Shut down the computer. With the computer off, on the left hand side of the keyboard press shift+control+option along with the power button simultaneously and release. Wait 5-10 seconds and restart the computer.
This solved my problem and I was immediately able to purchase, download, and play an HD movie from iTunes w/o any error message. -
I have just changed my internal Hard drive on my MacBook pro. I had recently downloaded some movies on iTunes which I want to put into my iTunes library on my new internal hard drive. I have put my old internal hard drive into an external capsule but when I open the icon of the hard drive from the desktop I can't find my movies.
At the moment I have the new movies downloading again from the cloud but it is literally taking hours for even one movie to load.
When I changed the internal hard drive I restored my info from my old external hard drive which hadn't been backed up in a month and hence does not have my latest movies...
I am concerned that I might go over my internet usage limit (flatmate is refusing to change to unlimited package!!!!) by downloading all the movies again from the cloud never mind how long it is taking...
Is there any way to restore all my info and media from the old internal Hard drive in the capsule as well as from the external hard drive?It means there is no bootable system on the drive. If you still have access to the old drive, then I suggest you boot from it then clone it to the new internal drive. Use OPTION boot to boot from the Recovery HD on the old drive:
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu then press the Continue
button.
2. Select the destination volume from the left side list.
3. Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
4. Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag it
to the Destination entry field.
5. Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to
the Source entry field.
6. Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
Source means the external old drive. Destination means the new internal drive. -
I Can't find the movies and tv shows icons in my iPad itunes store. All I see are music, genius, purchased and top charts.

I have a big problem, I don't know what I touched but when I open up my iTunes I can't see all the icons. The only icons showing are "podcast, iTunes U and Downloads" so in other words I can't find the movies, music etc. Which means I can't buy/rent!

I have always had movies on my I phone, I used to find them in music then in videos, since my last update I now have music folder and video folder, only my tv shows are in the video section & I can't find my movies anywhere
I have good news!! I was waiting until I had adequate time to try this recommended fix in case I had any problems with it. Then I decided to enter a new event in my Calender even tho it was showing "No Calenders". As soon as I entered the new event my whole Calender came back! Yeeaaa! I hope this helps someone with the same problem.

If you rented it on your iPad then it should have downloaded into its Videos app - if it hasn't completed downloading then it might still show in the iTunes app in a Downloads tab in it (Downloads only shows if there are downloads happening), the iTunes app on your iPad is just the store.
If it doesn't show in Videos then does it show via the iPad's spotlight search screen : pull down the centre of the homescreen (not from the very top of the screen, that will open Notification Centre) ?
If you rented it on your computer's iTunes then you will have to connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and use its Movies tab to move it over to the iPad - rentals are a one-time only download, so won't show on your iPad for redownloading.

If you can't find it there then have you got any age ratings restrictions set in Settings > General > Restrictions that might be hiding it ? If not then can you find it by name via the iPad's spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right). -
