MPLS for Private WAN between 2 service provider
Hello All,
we are current running an MPLS network from service provider 1 across our Branch office network. we need moe redudnancy and are looking to add another MPLS cloud from service provider 2. How would we integrate service provider 2 onto the same Cisco routers due to the fact the only 1 BGP AS can run inside the router? Any info would be appreciated.

For this Scenario whereby we have a single router and already peered with one ISP on private AS and now need peering with another ISP on Public AS we can make use of the "local-as" feature provided we own a Public AS...
This way we can establish peering with the new ISP using the Public AS as the local AS in the neighbourship config and also reatain the existing peering with old ISP..What we need to make sure is that while sending update to the second ISP we replace the original private AS with the Public AS....
Below commands will be handy for same..

I have created Private Expense Type in Create Travel Expense Types for Individual Receipts.
In TRIP- Travel Expense Report when I try to split credit card transaction in TRIP, with the wizard, I see that system is throwing errors, that Private Expenses not assigned to any Service Provider, example- AX (AMEX).
1. Do I have to assign AX as service provider in Assign Wage Types to Travel Expense Types for Individual Receipts
2. Do I have to assign Private Expense type during splitting of Private expenses in Private Expense Wizard? I see there is a list of expense types in the drop down in Priv Expense Wizard. Cant system determine automatically the Private Expense Type ?

If you maintain Service provider in "Assignment of Credit Card Transact.to Travel Expense Type", then yes you have assigned it as well in wage type assignment. In Wizart you try split or change assignment of another expense type and it seems it by pass it together with Service Provider assignment.
Unfortunately for the second question I will be not able to answer.
But you can check for all expense types you use for AMEX card transaction in "Travel Expense Types for Receipt" in bottom, there you set "Allow Wizard for this Expense Type" assign your Private expense type.

Different Export / Publish Dialog for combined Export/Publish Service Provider

I'm writing a Export/Publish Service Provider that supports Publish and Export (supportsIncrementalPublish= true). So, there is only on sectionsForBottomOfDialog() which is used for both Export and Publish. This is nice since most of the setting options should obviously be identical for Export and Publish. A few settings though are only required by the Publish Provider. To keep the Export dialog as simple as possible I would like to hide the Publish specific settings when called via "Export".
Is there a way to identify whether the dialog was opened via "Publish" or "Export" so that I could hide some of the elements in the first case?

For 3 rd pary service provider - what material type could be used??
I am a third pary service provider warehouse. I receive materials from different customers in loose units . After receiving i palletize the material the material. Since i do not have any idea what materials i receive i am planning to use material type nonvaluated but stock material. I do not know how far it will satisfy my requirement.Any suggestion or ideas .....

You are procuring the materials, palletizing the same & selling it across. In such cases, you can maintain the material type as HAWA(Trading Goods).
But before changing the materilal type to HAWA from UNBW, kindly ensure that you have to close all the open orders for the material type UNBW.

Appointment booked with out resource or service provider
Dear Experts
We are using WFD and Resource Planning in CRM 2007.
While booking an appointment for service related, an appointment go booking against unavailable resource. This happened few times. No idea why this is happening and some times, for same resource or service provider got booking two appointments at the same time. The resource is not getting locked once the selection happened from the available appointments.

Best practice MPLS design/configuration for small service provider
We are a small regional service provider and did not have MPLS supported on our network. To start supporting MPLS, I’d like to get opinions and recommendations on the best practice configuration.
Here is what we have today –
We have our own BGP AS and multiple /24s.
We are running OSPF on the Cores and BGP on the Edge routers peering with ISPs.
We peer with multiple tier-1 ISPs for internet traffic. We do not provide public transit.
What we want for phase one MPLS implementation –
Configure basic MPLS /vpn functionality.
No QoS optimization required for phase 1.
We have Cisco ME 3600X for PE. Any recommendations will be appreciated.Not sure what kind of devices or routers you have in your network but looks for if you have support for labeled multicast for MVPN support. That will avoid other complexity of using other control protocols (like PIM) in core.
PE redundancy can be obtained by BGP attributes, CE-PE connectivity can be tunned using IGP or VRRP/HSRP...
You can have mutiple RSVP TEs for various contract traffic and you can bind various kind of traffic to different RSVP Tunnels based on contract or service with your customer.
RSVP-TE with link/node protection design will be of great help to achieve quicker failover. -
Hi, Apple Mail provides a function to create sub-folders within my mailbox so that I can group emails of similar subjects or from the same sender. My service provider only provides POP email protocol and the New Folder button does not appear in my Apple Mail account for that service provider. Icloud provides the opportunity for the iPad user to select between POP and IMAP. I can select IMAP and the New Folder button appears allowing me to create sub-folders within the icloud email account. Does this mean I cannot create sub-folders in my email account unless my service provider provides customers with the option of creating an IMAP email account?
This appears to be a problem for quite a few Apple Mail users, but service providers appear reticent to provide a response other than 'use Microsoft Exchange / Hotmail, Google GMail, or some other third party email service provider'. This is why I have chosen icloud as my email service provider. It is Apple and therefore Apple supports it. I have been a Telstra customer for over 15 years and they informed me today, strongly, that they support their own products and services, not Apple products, even though Telstra sell them. When I asked the Telstra Customer Support Manager whether they support Telstra customers, I was informed 'no, because the Telstra customer is not a Telstra product or service'. Yes. That is what it means. You need an IMAP account in order to create sub folders on the iPad. -

Records management: Getting record GUID in Service Provider for Transactio

I wan't to use a service provider for transaction (or may be reports) in a record.
I the called transaction (Z-transaction) I need the GUID of the record (from which this transaction was calle). Afterwards we want to add automatically a new document into the record.
Does anybody know, how to transfer (or receive) the ID of the record in our Z-transaction or z-report? Or are there any other techniques how to do this?

Basic searching for documents and records can be done via the organizer part of the screen. It's the left part of the screen with the role-based view and the history. Select the folder for eg records and open it. Select the record type you want to search on and right click on it adn select search. You then can to enter your parameters (attribute values) on which you want to search. Same for the documents.
The search you are reffering to is the generic search in which it's possible to search over multiple documenttypes at once. For this however you need to customize RM parts. In the registry for once you have to change some settings on the element type (sps) of the generic document search element (e.g SRM_SPS_GEN_DOCUMENT_DEMO in the service provider SRM_SP_GEN_DOCUMENT). These options are only available in the newer systems (e.g. Netweaver 4s). Not in SAP Enterprise 4.7. So for the generic search options you"ll need more indepth knowlegde on how to customize SAP RM.
There is a kind of howto on the generic search options on: http://service.sap.com/recordsmanagement in the media library under documentation called "How To Guide: Cross Search based on Property Unification" .

I have a Domain name with email forwarding to my Service Provider which worked very well when I had a PC. Now that I have iMac I have changed the account type to IMAP from POP3 so I can sync. between iMac and iPad but how?
I do receive emails into my iMac for which I have 3 email accounts but am struggling on how synchronise between iMac and iPad so that both are up to date at all times. I have also set up a iCloud email account thinking this was the way to go but have drawn a blank.

I have set up my email address both within my iMac and my ISP as IMAP accounts and I receive all emails without problem on my iMac. I have also set up an iCloud email address using my iMac.
I have enabled the email within "setting" on my iPad and have used the iCloud account. I have sent emails from the iMac to iPad using the iCloud account address and vice versa. I have also sent emails from the iPad to the iMac using my non-iCloud email address and they have gotten through.
The one thing I would like to have is for the iPad "mail" mailboxes to mimic the iMac "mail" mailboxes and both to be "in sync". I am not really interested in using the iCloud email address for my email but would really like to use my "normal" addresses as these are what most people know me by.
Do I need to set additional accounts within the iPad which are the same as the email accounts I have within the iMac and my ISP? I have reached the end of my knowledge as regards email synchronsing.

I just went to the Apple store not three days ago to get a replacement. They gave me a replacement then moved on to the next customer. Ever since I have gotten home my service has been going in and out. I can have my phone in the same place and it can say that i have 5 bars with 4G, then not two seconds later it will go to 1 bar, after that it will say Searching..for a little over two minutes. Then it will go back to saying that i have 5 bars with 4G, and the cycle will continue. I am not sure whether this is an Apple problem or if it is my service provider. I have talked to several others who have the same service provider and they say that they are not experiencing any problems!
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore. Has any of this been tried?
Unless and until is has been, Apple will not do anything, beyond the basic troubleshooting listed above. -
So my Aus iPhone that I had unlocked to do a bit of travelling went for a swim in the Med- my service provider back home informed me that in order to claim on insurance internationally that I should get a new one from an Apple Store and send them the bill etc etc. I did that, and all was fine with the rest of my trip on a prepaid UK sim. Now I am home and want to put my AUS sim in (where I am under postpaid contract) but my iPhone is not recognising it, with an error message of 'Invalid Sim'. My service provider cannot help as the product was sourced from Apple originally and not them. Can someone let me know how this can be fixed?
Okay, so if you purchased your iPhone from an Apple store in the UK then it is fully unlocked. Apple in the UK sell fully and officially unlocked iPhones, so you should not have a problem with inserting any sim card into your phone. The phone will be unlocked as long as you purchased the phone in the UK for the full purchase price and not as sim free rather than unlocked.
Have a word with your provider, as there could possibly be a problem with your sim card. Get a new sim card and try that. There is no reason why this should not work on an unlocked iPhone. -
