MRS - CRM Integration:  Resource Planning Node for CRM demands

Hi all,
We have a multi backend scenario where MRS 800 add-ons (ECC and NW add-on) have been installed in ECC. Demands can come from the ECC PM/CS orders or from the CRM system as Service orders.
For PM/CS orders, from the work center of the activity or operation, the system determines the planning node and assigns the demand to that planning node. But we need help in identifying the Evaluation Path for determining the Resource Planning Node for demands coming from CRM. Currently we have to manually select the CRM Service Order to be able to view the demands in the MRS planning board.
The service organization structure has been created manually in CRM and is not available in ECC system. We are unable to identify which organization structure can be used as resource planning structure (in the Planning board which is in ECC) for CRM service orders.
Please provide your inputs on these two issues in the MRS-CRM scenario:
1. What is the evaluation path for determining the Resource Planning Node for demands coming from CRM system?
2. Which organization structure can be used as resource planning structure (in the Planning board which is in ECC) for CRM service orders?
I would appreciate any help in this regard.
Thank you!
Kajal

  • Travel Time Calculation in CRM 2007 Resource Planning Application

    Dear all
we are using CRM 2007 RPA to schedule Service Technicians to Service Demands and also want to use the "Schedule" button to automatically have the system create Service Arrangements. We do use WFM Core and not any external tools.
The problem we are having is related to calculating travel time: the system automatically would line-up service arrangement after service arrangement without any time in between. We wonder how we could include travel times or other expected "in-between" times (e.g. customer specific delays) into the scheduling functionality.
Further, if we have the system propose resources for a demand, there is a column "distance" which says "n/a" in all cases - we wonder how we could (without using 3rd party tools), populate this field - and on what basis.
Thank you very much in advance and best regards
    Christian

    Hi,
How did you solve this issue?

  • From R/3 to CRM create one logical system for CRM client 300.

Suppose i create one logical system for CRM in R/3 TO CRM scenario for client 300.another user wants to work on jdbc to CRM client 300 for this he wants to create another logical system for client 300 it is not possible,so,it is ok if he assign same logical system when he was working for CRM client 300 when he wants to create business system for CRM in JDBC to CRM.

    Hi,
Business Systems are te logical system name for a CLient in the SAP.
These can be reused again for different configuration scnario that you must have created for different interface.
All you need to do is assing the Business system to your configuration scenario and Communication channel to the same.

  • For R/3 to CRM Scenario ,creating ABAP Proxy for CRM which is in Target

In R/3 to CRM scenario it is ok creating ABAP Proxy for CRM which is Target system.if it is possible it is Client Proxy.it is correct or not

    Hi,
Client Proxy. When you need to create Proxy for your Sender system then the proxy is generated on the client side and the Class created in Proxy generation is called in a report/FM etc.
Server proxy. The server proxy is created when you are sending the data from SAP XI to the receiving system.
The generation of proxy in both the cases happens on the sender or the receiver system.

  • Consolidate Planned Orders for Past demands

    Hi Experts,
I have come across the following requirement. So, please follow the Screen shots.
You can see that MRP Run has created 2 planned orders for the separate 2 demands (One is for 11.02.2014 and another one is for 15.04.2014). But when you look at the demands, you can see that these are old demands. How can we configure the system to have only 1 planned order for the qty 101 by having the date as latest finished date.
    So for an example.
I want to have one planned order for 101 giving the date as 05.08.2014.
I'm open to any valuable suggestions as I've a sand pit client to do some testing. Just want to show you the setting for parameters for determine the Basic Dates. ( I have a  clear idea what the following settings do)
    Thank you very much.
    Kind regards,
    Ishara

    Hi Ishara,
Please check in MRP1 tab the lot size data (weekly, monthly,...). I think that your setting is monthly. For this reason you have two pl.orders created one for February (10 EA) and the other for April (91 EA). If you want to have just 1 pl.order choose min/max lot size equal with 101 EA.
Also check in MRP4 tab, section BOM explosion what is your individual/collective setting (should be collective).
    Thanks.
    Regards, Marius

  • SAP Cloud For Customer : Integration of Service Request to CRM  Issue

    Hello Team,
We have CRM integration using HCI working for most of the standard objects running. But for "Service Request" we are not able to see replication initiating from C4C to CRM. We have setup the required Communication Arrangement and artifact on HCI. Ping test gives 405 error which is as expected. But when we save the new ticket replication to CRM is not initiated.
Kindly throw some light on this so as to understand why this replication is not initiated.
Please let me know if any configuration missing to replicate "Service Request" from C4C to CRM.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Mithun

    Hi Ravi,
We are not getting any messages under "Business Communication Monitoring" and web service messages monitoring.
Can you please suggest me which are the all configuration/activities require in cloud for customer for "Service Request".
We have maintained the Transaction Type for "Service Request" in Code List Mapping too, however we are clueless where we have to maintain the "Item Category" for "Service Request" and map to which standard "Item Category" in cloud.
What is the initiate point to trigger the "Service Request" from C4C to CRM?
    Many Thanks,
    Mithun

  • MRS 8.0 - Unable to reassign Demand to another Planning node

    Hi All,
I am new to MRS 8.0 and I am having a problem with reassigning a demand from one planning node to another from the demand layout view. I have configured Resource Planning Nodes and Evaluation Paths as defined in the SAP Config guide.
The steps I performed to try and reassign are as follows
Select the demand from the demand layout screen, use the context menu to click on the demand details menu.
Modify the work center to a different work center and click the change button.
At this point the demand seemed to move to the other planning node.
On selecting save it moves back to the original planning node.
On checking the demand from IW33 the work center remains the same as it was before.
However instead of changing the work center when I change the duration/resources for the demand the demand gets updated correctly with the duration/resources suggesting that backward integration is working between MRS and PM/CS.
I appreciate your valuable inputs in resolving this issue.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Can you check in /MRSS/IMG, In Basic settings, Assign objects, Assign workcenter types for demands, Have you defined the correct mapping here?
    Regards

  • FAQ: User Interface Guidelines for CRM 2007 are now available

The CRM UI Concept Team has made the UI Guidelines for CRM Web Client User Interface (CRM 2007 UI) available to the BPX community:
This document provides an overview of the on-premise as well as the off-premise versions of the SAP CRM Web Client User Interface (UI). It contains the properties and principles of the SAP CRM Web Client UI that are already committed and available. For planned features, refer to the corresponding specification documents.
The information in the guidelines starts with general topics, followed by details. The sections are organized with high-level topics like Page Types and Navigation Schema first, followed by the consecutive sections describing which building blocks and elements of the UI populate the various pages. A section typically starts with one or more screenshots of a central UI element with a generic explanation. The subsequent sections explain the detailed aspects of each element.
We hope that you will find this information useful.

  • Specify Countries for CRM

    Hello experts,
I was wondering if the countries (T005 database table) in the CRM system are replicated from the ERP system or the customer has to double-maintain them in both CRM and ERP systems.
For CRM, the customizing activity to maintain countries is at:
SAP Customizing IMG -> SAP NetWeaver -> General Settings -> Set Countries -> Specify Countries in mySAP Systems (CRM, SRM, SCM..)
In the ERP system, there are two different IMG activities for country maintenance:
    i) SAP Customizing IMG -> SAP NetWeaver -> General Settings -> Set Countries -> DefineCountries in mySAP Systems
ii) SAP Customizing IMG -> SAP NetWeaver -> General Settings -> Set Countries -> Specify Countries in mySAP Systems (CRM, SRM, SCM..)
    My questions would be:
    1) Is the country data replicated from ERP to CRM? If yes, what would be the Business Object (R3AC1)?
    2) Why are there two different activities in the ERP system for maintaining countries?
    Regards,
    Guven.

    Hello KK,
Thank you for your fast reply.
I have looked at the DNL_CUST_COUNTR object and the source site is indicated as CRM. Therefore, I believe there will be a flow from CRM (the destination is CDB).
Also, I think you are referring to another customizing activity when you have mentioned the Postal Code Check. The two activites that I have pointed out look exactly the same.
Also, this replication between the systems, is it automatic? When a new country is entered in the ERP system, will it be distributed to CRM or will I have to trigger delta download?
    Regards,
    Guven.

  • DBMS Resource plan in 11.1

    Hello,
I am using 11.1.0.7.0 2-node RAC on RHEL 5 (64 bit). I have enabled MIXED_WORKLOAD_PLAN in both the instances, with a modification to the threshold parameter for interactive group.
I set the action to 'cancel the SQL' for the interactive group if the execution time exceeds 90 seconds. This is working perfect.
My question is - Is there a way to capture the SQL ID that got cancelled along with session ID which was affected by the same? Does this information gets logged anywhere? Please can you help me on this?
    Regards,
    SK

I cannot help with the exact answer of your question, but I can give you a broader solution that might be of help.
We know that all SQLs that were canceled by the resource plan ran for more than 80 seconds, but less than 100 seconds. We can find all SQLs that run between 80 and 100 seconds and try to figure out which ones were terminated by the resource plan. We can use the resource plan definition, application logs and other application dependant sources to do the filtering. This method is not exact and could be quite labor intensive.
Assuming you are licensed to use ASH, you can use this queries to get all sessions that ran between 75 and 105 seconds:
    During the recent past (minutes):
    select session_id , session_serial# , sql_id , min_tm , max( exec_time) , count(*)
    FROM
    ( select session_id , session_serial# , sql_id , min_tm , ( max_tm - min_tm ) exec_time
    FROM
    select session_id , session_serial# , sql_id , sample_time ,
    max(sample_time) over (partition by session_id , session_serial# , sql_id ) max_tm,
    min(sample_time) over (partition by session_id , session_serial# , sql_id ) min_tm
    from v$active_session_history
    where sample_time between <begin time > and <end time >
and sql_id is not null) )
    where exec_time > interval '75' SECOND
    and exec_time <   interval '105' SECOND  group by session_id, session_serial#, sql_id, min_tm
having count(*) > 70Historically – depending on your ASH settings:
    select session_id , session_serial# , sql_id , min_tm , max( exec_time) , count(*)
    FROM
    ( select session_id , session_serial# , sql_id , min_tm , ( max_tm - min_tm ) exec_time
    FROM
    select session_id , session_serial# , sql_id , sample_time ,
    max(sample_time) over (partition by session_id , session_serial# , sql_id ) max_tm,
    min(sample_time) over (partition by session_id , session_serial# , sql_id ) min_tm
    from dba_hist_active_sess_history
    where sample_time between <begin time > and <end time >
and sql_id is not null) )
    where exec_time > interval '75' SECOND
    and exec_time <   interval '105' SECOND  group by session_id, session_serial#, sql_id, min_tm
    having count(*) > 7

  • Get Resource Plan data without making a PSI call

I've found that retrieving project resource plan data (for all resources on the project team) takes around one minute when calling ReadResourcePlan via the PSI.  We'd like a way to retrieve that data without the overhead of the PSI call.  We've
tried querying the Reporting database, and have found some differences.  For instance, ReadResourcePlan returns plan data, even if the resource plan is checked out / in a non-published state.  Is there a way to retrieve the same resource plan data
returned by the PSI without making the ReadResourcePlan call?

    Hi TYRichardson--
Before diging into it, have you read this excellent
post from Brian about the resource plan and PSI? Take alos a look to the comments which talk about the check-out.
    Hope this helps,

  • Planned order generation for each demand

    hi all,
Is it possible to Create planned order for each demand within a day in LTP.
    for ex.,
    Ms04
    Planned order-  19.09.2014  4500
    demand   19.09.2014  --  500
    demand   19.09.2014  --  1500
    demand   19.09.2014  --  2500
Its creating like above is it possible to create planned order as follows
    We required as follows
    Planned order-  19.09.2014  500
    Planned order-  19.09.2014  1500
    Planned order-  19.09.2014  2500
    demand   19.09.2014  --  500
    demand   19.09.2014  --  1500
    demand   19.09.2014  --  2500
Which setting controls it. we are using individual/collective requirement as 1 for these materials
How the on different dates separate planned orders are generated. please include your valuable inputs
    Regards
    Muthu Kumar

    Hi Kumar,
    as mentioned before.
If you do not have a MTO scenario you need to use BAdI MD_ADD_ELEMENTS to simulate individual requrirements within the same date.
Make sure you check for the right scenario, so the coding is not executed during regular MRP
This coding could be a starting point.
could not test it.,  but you can give it a try.
data: lf_temp_date type DAT00, ls_MDPS type mdps, lf_planr type PLANR.
    if IM_PLSC is not initial.
      CH_CHANGED = 'X'.
loop at CH_COPY_MDPSX into ls_MDPS where delkz = 'SM'. "for simulated dependent requirements
    if ls_MDPS-dat00 = lf_temp_date.
      ls_mdps-planr = lf_planr + 1.
      lf_planr = ls_mdps-planr.
    else.
      lf_planr = ls_mdps-planr.
    endif.
    lf_temp_date = ls_mdps-dat00.
      endloop.
    endif.
If you need to have separate planned order depending on header material you can also check for this in addition to requirement date
