We'd love to have the Weather Channel w/ "Local on the 8's" for Poughkeepsie, NY and not NYC. Big difference in our weather, especially in the winter!!

I have installed the full creative suite 2 on my new iMac. everything works fine except photoshop?!!?
Illustrator works great, In-Design works great, But when i try to open a file or create a new page in PS it tells me "Could not create document because of a program error"???? ***?
I had a previous version of CS and it worked fine for one day, then that started happening. I installed the CS2 trial version, and it would still give me the same error msg. I erased everything and installed the new CS2 (photoshop, illustrator , in-design and acrobat). It still gives me the same darn msg.???

I suggest whenever you have problems with third-party applications, the first place to start troubleshooting is with the application's documentation, then vendor's web site. Usually their sites have FAQs, lists of known bugs, or application-specific forums similar to these Discussions. Sometimes, unlike the Apple Discussions, the questions are even answered by employees of the vendor.
The document cited above was found in 10 seconds by searching the Adobe support site.

Download Itunes from Apple.com, not from within Itunes.
Redo the install, following the below procedure. However, when you re-install Itunes, right click and run the install as administrator. For Win 7, you have to hold down the cntrl and shift keys when you right click and then "run as administrator" will be an option.
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Vista, Win 7 & later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

ITune wont start geting a error, error msg says send error or dont send.

Like the topic says, i have tryed to reinstal itunes but with same results.

what shuld i do next need it to work so i can use my ipod.

let's first check to see whether or not that is associated with a broken QuickTime. (itunes needs a properly functioning QuickTime in order to work correctly.)
try launching your QuickTime. does it:
(a) launch perfectly fine?
(b) fail to launch with an error message? (if so, what does it say?)
(c) exhibit other peculiar behavior? (if so, could you describe it for us?)

How can I display my Mail lists and msgs. as usual??

I just lost the capability to show my inbox list or to click on a title to view the email content. When i open Mail there's the body of one msg the right, which I can't do anything with (the usual toolbar is missing); and when click on Inbox, Read Messages, or any icon to the left I just get the panel "No Message Selected". I finally found I could get the Inbox list by going to "Enter Full Screen", which lists the 685 emails in my Inbox, including 10 new ones. But I can't do anything with that list--when I open one it's in a panel not allowing me to reply, forward, etc. I can't scroll anywhere to see other items--if I close the full screen mode I'm back to a nonfunctioning left panel and one email with the body of an email randomly selected; again, if I select Inbox I get the panel 'No Message Selected". That's no surprise since I'm unable to show the Inbox list from which to select a msg. (except on that separate Ful Panel which shows only the list.)
This happened immediately after I installed the latest Java upgrade as advised by a popup. Could that have had ankything to do with this?
Will be very grateful for any help.

iTunes no longer works on my Windows VISTA system. Get error msg saying an application is attempting to access C runtime library incorrectly... Error 7, Windows error 1114. Same msg, or one that says unable to install, when trying to update or reinstall iTunes. iTunes worked well up until about a month ago when this error msg starting appearing.

HT2693 what can i do when vendor contact support page can't send my info/msg due to page error and i have paid for an app that no longer works after purchase

What can i do when i purchase an app then after purchase the app fails to work. I deleted the app rebooted ipa then reinstated app. It still fails to work. I went to vendor support but when i go to send the info to them it comes up with unable to send msg due to page error. I am not happy. My child loved the app now it wont even open. Any help???

Tried to update my iPad OS from iTunes. Frozen and got an "unknown error msg". I tried to restore the iPad to factory settings..got the same

I bought today a new iPad from Rideau Store. The setup guys didn't update to latest software version. I tried to do myself trough iTunes, which notify me that an upgrade is available. After a while the upgrading process froze with a msg "unknown error ..". I clicked on the More info button and I got a page saying "due to a scheduled upgrade of Apple's support system some feature are not available.
The bottom line is that now the iTunes does detect the iPad being in recovering mode and asks to restore it to fabrics defaults. I tried to do this and again I got aqn "unknown error"
Finally I run the iTunes diagnostics to check the connectivity between my iPad and my HP laptop (iTunes). For unknown reson the iTunes does not detect my iPad. See below the diagnostics log:

i need help in getting rid of this error msg 13019. it started after downloaded a couple of songs. and it will not allow me to sync my nano ipod thanks

Ive fixed this issue before. The steps are kinda long but they work.
This is for windows computers with iPod nano that get the error 13019 during or after a sync with iTunes.
-Open itunes
--click, edit, click preferences
--select advanced
---make a note of the iTunes media folder location on a notepad.
---put a check in organize files
---take the check out of copy files
---click ok
--Click file, at the top of iTunes
--move mouse over library, select organize, and consolidate files. ( This ensures all music in you iTunes will be in the iTunes media folder later.)
At this point, if you have playlists you want to save:
-Create a folder on your desktop, call it, playlists
--Hover you mouse over your playlist in iTunes, should be at the bottom of the blue/grey column on the left.
--right click the playlist, select export playlist
--Navigate to your desktop and open the playlist folder and save.
---Do this for each playlist you want to save
-Close itunes
-Click your start button, and open computer or my computer
--Using what you wrote down on your note pad, follow the path to the "iTunes folder", NOT the iTunes media folder
--Open the iTunes folder.
--Stop here
-You will see icons that look like folders and you will see icons that look like files-
-You will KEEP the FOLDERS
-You will DELETE the FILES
--If it makes you more comfortable you can cut the files out and paste on your desktop, but as of now we do not need the files any longer as we have the playlists backed up. Remember-Keep the folders.
--That was the magic--
-Disconnect your iPod if connected.
-When you open your iTunes, it will be empty, that is OK. We are recreating the library. Everything will come back in a few seconds.
-Click file at the top
--Select, add FOLDER to library, not to be confused with add file.
--In the window that pops up, locate and click on computer or my computer
--From here follow the path to the iTunes media folder on your note pad, but do not open the iTunes media folder.
--Click the iTunes music/media folder one time so it highlights.
--On the bottom right you will have option to select folder, or choose folder or OK. Hit that button.
All you music will start to import back into iTunes.
-Plug in iPod after completed
--a message pops up about being synced with a different library.
--Click erase and sync
--Watch all your songs go on your iPod with no error message.
From here you may sync your iPod the way you want with out worrying about the persnickety error 13019!!!!!

Hi my iphone 4 died over night so i woke up this morning and put it on charge through a wall charger a few hours passed and i have got back and the little white bars are still circling so i pluged it into the computer and its still doing the same thing and a msg comes up saying itunes could not detect device unknown error OxE8000065. Pessoal, gostaria de alterar o estilo padrão da fonte (àquela caixa do lado esquerdo da fonte quando abrimos uma nova msg) de parágrafo para normal mas não consigo.
Já alterei tudo que se possa imaginar, entrei em aparência; edição; avançado. Mas não consigo alterar o estilo de Parágrafo para Normal. Toda vez que abro uma nova msg tenho que ficar alterando isso toda vez que vou escrever um texto pois o estilo é bem diferente.

Unable to Capture more than 5 mins, error out of mem msg when rendering

Somebody help me. I have been using my powermac fcp and a mini dv cam for 4yrs no problems. Now when i am trying to capture clips over 5 mins (1 gig) fcp freezes. So Im capturing through Imovie (which is working fine). Dragging clips into fcp to edit. Now when it comes to rendering anything over 5 mins Im getting an error out of memory msg.
Can anyone help me?

You don't say what version of FCP you are using but my guess is you've upgraded QT7 and are running FCP4.5
If that's the case, do a search here for the solution(s). They're ugly.

It looks like you might simply have run out of memory. It just looks like the JRE tried to adjust its memory map and run out space. When mprotect fails the problem probably isn't with the .so itself.
What are the memory characteristics of your machine? Including the heap and stack space that you allocate for your JVM, as well as the actual physical and swap space available on the server.

Try this...
have a text convo with the person you want to delete. Go to the top contact in the text convo, hit edit contact, and delete that contact.
That resolution came from another thread on this issue, and this did solve to poster's issue.
