MSS - Workflo Tasks Query setting - View Delete

Hi SCN Members,
No delete option is enabled to delete the standard view for MSS - Workflow Tasks in Query settings. Please refer attached screen shot, this view has strange field names.
Please let me know if there is option to delete/hide.
...Naddy

Hi Naddy,
It is not possible to enable the 'SAVE' and 'DELETE' buttons, for 'STANDARD VIEW' but you can do for 'SAPInitial' View.
Just you need to 'ADD' or 'REMOVE' some columns in the SAPinitial View then it will activate 'SAVE'. Once you click on SAVE for your changes then it will activate the 'DELETE' button.
Regards,
Mohsin.

  • Transaction code to view process orders set for deletion

    Hi PP Gurus
    We are trying to search for transaction code to view the process orders which have status as DLFL i.e deletion flag  set for the orders. In cooispi, the deleted orders are not shown in the report output.
    I request you to let me know if there is any other code through which we can view deleted process orders.
    Thanks & Regards
    Harleen Kaur

    Dear,
    In COOISPI  put DLT in system status field and execute the report this will give you the list of all order with deletion flags
    Also refer this thread,

  • Viewlink between Custom VO "Cannot set user query to view"

    We have an application where we have extended custom VO and EO’s to get data from flat files. It all looks fine till we create a viewlink for a LOV with two related VO’s. The viewlink VO fails we get message of the form -Cannot set user query to view "CustomVO1" because it is a destination in a view link”. Are there any methods to override in the custom VO/EO or any parameter to be added to configs. Has someone tried this out

    Thanks for the update and for sharing the solution!

  • Set view criteria on af:query choice LOV field

    i have an af:query. one of the fields is a choice. the LOV for the choice come from a VO. i need to set view criteria for the query for the LOV for the choice. that is, the query for the values of the choice requires view criteria.
    moreover, that search criteria is only known by the view. because the hooks for the choice are set up entirely in the model, i don't see how it would ever be possible to use values from the view to define the query for the LOV for the choice.
    any ideas?

    Assuming that you can have a method at the AM level that sets the viewCriteria for your VO, you can drag this method to the page flow to be executed before you go into the query page - this will set the right condition for the list that needs to populate the LOV.
    Then the query component can use that VO as an LOV like this:

  • Cannot set user query to view "{0}" because it is a destination in a view link

    Hi
    11.1.1.7 - I have 2 programatically view objects. I have created a viewLink between them and I am getting the error:
    Cannot set user query to view "MyView2" because it is a destination in a view link.
    Does anyone know what are the methods I need to implement? I have follow the Frank Nimphius Post: Oracle ADF: Service, Please! and it is working fine. However, after seeing this example: Decompiling ADF Binaries: Building programmatically managed business components - Part 2 - I realised that I am missing some other stuff to make the view link work. There are too many methods and its quite difficult to understand and digest all classes and methods etc.
    Anyone can please point me in the right direction?
    Regards

    Which version are you using? Could you maybe turn on logging (http://blog.goverco.com/p/psmalogging.html) and post content of log file if you still have the issue...
    Also, remember that even though you set credentials in the PARAM section, these values are overwritten by the ones specified on the properties of the MA - so make sure that you specify correct creds on the MA. Specifying creds directly in the script makes
    for an easy way of testing from the PowerShell prompt, but not for running the script from the MA / Run Profiles

  • Programmtically Setting View Criteria in ADF Query Component

    I have created two view criterias for a View Object and used ADF Query component for searching. User can select any one of the View Criteria from "saved search" in ADF Query component. but i want to set it programmatically based on some business rules. How i can do that?

    No I don't want to set view criteria on search click. Actually I have ADF Query component on my page which is by default disabled. There are also some fields outside the query component on the value of which i enable ADF Query component and wants to set a particular ViewCriteria based on context. All ViewCriterias are defined and listed in "saved search" of ADF Query component but i don't want to allow user to select it but wants to application set it automatically based on context. For it i will be needed to set a particualar ViewCriteria for ADF Query component through code and then refresh ADF Query component to show newly set ViewCriteria. I know how to refresh query component or any other component through code but don't know how to set ViewCriteria on ADF Query component?

  • SCSM 2012 UR3 - "The Full adapter threw an exception" error when viewing "Deleted Items" view

    Has anyone expereinced the "The Full adapter threw an exception" eror in the SCSM 2012 console?
    We get the error in both our dev and production environments when trying to view the "Deleted Items" view in the console (even after using powershell to remove all deleted iterms).  As just noted, interestingly enough we can view, delete, and restore
    deleted items using the corresponding Powershell commands.  It should be noted that neither of our two SCSM 2012 environments has a registered data warehouse server.  Below is a screen shot of the error as well as the associated error text and event
    log errors.
    Any help would be greatly apprecaited!

  • C++ stack overflow on desctruction of Set::View

    Hi,
    I've encountered a problem when querying large sets of data from coherence.
    Gven the following code;
              // load cache with a large data set
              char buff[128] = {0};
              for( int i = 0; i < 100000; ++i )
                   sprintf_s(buff,128,"key%05d",i);
                   // random binary data
                   int len = 128 + rand() % 512;
                   Array<octet_t>::Handle hab = Array<octet_t>::create(len);
                   hCache->put(String::create(buff),hab);
            // query the cache, and print the results
              struct tmpIt
                   Filter::View          vAll;
                   Set::View               vSetResult;
              tmpIt *t = new tmpIt;
              t->vAll = AlwaysFilter::create();
                    t->vSetResult = hCache->entrySet(t->vAll);
              // iterate over the results
              int ncount = 0;
            for (Iterator::Handle hIter = t->vSetResult->iterator(); hIter->hasNext(); )
                Map::Entry::View vEntry = cast<Map::Entry::View>(hIter->next());
                   String::View     vKey   = cast<String::View>(vEntry->getKey());
                Object::View     vValue = vEntry->getValue();
                   Array<octet_t>::Handle dt = cast<Array<octet_t>::Handle>(vEntry->getValue());
                   ncount++;
                   if( (ncount % 2000) == 0 )
                        std::cout << ncount << std::endl;
              // delete the struct, thus forcing the destruction of vSetResult
              delete t;On deleting the struct 't' causes a stack overflow deep within coherence. I'm guessing there's some kind of recursive delete that works on smaller data sets.
    Can you please advise me on what to do in this situation, as this has put a halt to my coherence integrartion :)
    Cheers
    Rich

    Hi Rich,
    I've tried your test out in a few environments using both debug and release builds and have not been able to reproduce the issue. My guess is that it may have something to do with your build settings. Can you try building it using the build.cmd script which we ship with the product. This can be done by creating a new subdirectory under examples for your test, for instance "overflow", place you source code in that directory and then from the examples directory run "build overflow". You can then run the test by executing "run overflow". This is how I've tested an all seems to be ok. Assuming this resolves the issues on your side, you can have a look at the compiler/linker settings used in the build.cmd script and try applying them to your build process. If this does not resolve the issue, it would be useful if you could send us a fully buildable example (and build script) which reproduces it. Also if you could include the OS and compiler versions that would help.
    In testing your source code I ran into a few small things I thought I should point out to you.
    - while loading if you batch your puts into a local HashMap and then do periodic hCache->putAll() operations loading will be faster:
         // load cache with a large data set
            char buff[128] = {0};
            Map::Handle hMapBatch = HashMap::create();
              for( int i = 0, c = atoi(argv[2]); i < c; ++i )
                   sprintf(buff,"key%05d",i);
                   // random binary data
                   int len = 128 + rand() % 512;
                   Array<octet_t>::Handle hab = Array<octet_t>::create(len);
                   hMapBatch->put(String::create(buff),hab);
                   if ((i % 2000) == 0)
                        hCache->putAll(hMapBatch);
                        hMapBatch->clear();
                        std::cout << "loaded " << i << std::endl;
            hCache->putAll(hMapBatch);
            hMapBatch->clear(); - During iteration you should not cast the values back to Handles, but rather only to Views. It is not guaranteed that the cache will return non-const references to the data.
    I did validate that the test did not fail prior to making the above modifications.
    thanks,
    mark

  • Options to control display performance of CLOBs, etc. in Query Result view?

    Whenever I attempt to query a table that contains LOBs (e.g. a CLOB or XMLTYPE), the lack of performance pretty much makes the "Query Result" view (from F9) unusable. Any time I attempt to scroll the results, SQL developer apparently continues to query the database for the additional characters to populate the view.
    Resizing the columns containing the LOB to only a few characters almost solves the issue. Unfortunately, the size of the columns showing the LOBs apparently attempt to resize to the length of the LOB, making the column several pages long - and the same performance issue prevents resizing it smaller.
    Ideally, there would be some way to resize a column to a given or even a predefined and small size, without having to drag the resize handle the entire width of the desired resize amount. Alternatively, there could be a user preference to never set default column widths above a given number of pixels or characters. Another option would be a user preference to disable the in-line display of LOB contents, displaying only and requiring a click on the "..." (or pencil icon) button to open the "View Value" dialog. Ideally, all 3 of these options could be implemented.
    One crude work-around I'm using for now is to exclude the LOB columns from the results, requiring me to make secondary queries to see the LOB contents when necessary, and doesn't allow for scrolling through and viewing the LOB contents at all. Another work-around is to run the query as a script (F5) instead of a query (F9), and view the results in the "Script Output" view instead.
    I'm currently using SQL Developer 2.1.0.63, but experienced this same issue with all previous versions, including 1.5.5.
    Thanks!

    I agree.
    When I requested to auto-width the columns, I said to build in a maximum, but apparently they didn't.
    I suggest you log 2 feature requests on the SQL Developer Exchange; 1 for the maximum width, 1 for the CLOB contents/performance. Like this others can vote too and add weight for future implementation (I will).
    Have fun,
    K.

    I tried to put an alias for sum(e.salary) function and it worked but i dont understand why it is required or is the problem somewhere else and why an alias is needed here ???Every column in a table or view must have a unique name. If you don't explicitly specify a name for the output column, Oracle will try to generate one based on the input expression. If the name does not follow the normal rules for identifiers (one of which is that the name can't contain special symbols, like parentheses) then the name must be enclosed in double-quotes.
    Notice that these rules are a little different from the rules about result sets. In the result set of a main query, for example, column names do not have to be unique, and a system-generated name like 'SUM(E.SALARY)" is acceptable.
    Actually the book hasnt specfied the need for an alias at this place ...so i wanted to know why am getting this error ..I can't see which book you're reading. Post a quote. If the book is available on line, post a link, too.

  • Report Not apperaing in User's Query Report Viewer Menu

    Hello There!
    Continuing with below thread
    Report Category not Appearing in Report Definition
    When i search for a report i created, i'm(as a normal user) not able to find any report after searching.(assigned to me or to my role.)
    The view PSXPRPTSRCH_VW has two tables PSXPRPTDEFN and PSXPDATASRC .Both have oprid column which is blank and the above view's first where clause is asking for oprid.
    I don't understand how then all the doc./papers on internet i read, to create Report using XML Publisher says/shows the report appears in user menu(query report viewer). May be they still using PS login to show the output?
    Anybody have any idea where am going wrong?
    The category,datasource,Definition,query tree all set properly. Do user need any special role/permission assigned?
    BTW user can see the query report viewer menu.

    Thanks for the Reply.
    from the doc. you gave, this is what i found.
    Home > PeopleBooks > PeopleTools 8.52: BI Publisher for PeopleSoft > Running, Locating, and Viewing BI Publisher Reports
    The Query Report Viewer allows selection and online viewing of those reports that have a data source type of PeopleSoft Query. Existing Query security applies so that each user has access to run only the reports to which he or she has qualified Query access to the data source.
    The PS query and the data source is created by user PS then how can a normal user will have access to that?
    I'm bit confused here.

However, if I open Internet Explorer - after closing Firefox - my cookies and history are listed in Internet Explorer. I have to go to Tools >Options> Internet History and delete everything manually. (Internet Explorer is also set to delete history on exit.

    No IE View or IE tab.
    Not a major problem because I can go in and delete manually--minor hassle.
    Have had the same problem across several FF updates. Just curious why this is happening.
