Multiline Processing and Agent Assignment

I have a multiline container element that I am using in a subflow. I want the subflow to execute for each line in the multiline container.
The objects in the multiline element are, in fact, the agent ids. I am not sure of how to identify a single entry in the container in the sub flow to set the agent.
I am using this basic syntax for the expression in the agent assignment:
multilineContainerElement(index).
Is there a way to bind a single line of the mutliline element to a single instance in the activity ---> subworkflow binding?

you can achieve ur purpose by inserting Loop(until) into the workflow
till the execution take place for each and every id loop will continue ,more over for binding the multiline element you can bind the same with comaptible container in the workflow.
can u provide some details what is the nature of that multiline container that you have created ,i mean what u have given for the data structure.
and whats the purpose of using that multilione element thats a local or a global container and as fara as i think u r trying to send some mail or notification to the agent id u r retrieveing from ur container,is it or else.
its pretty simple probs if u give some details it will be sorted out easily

If you are a User01, then You started the process like if you are creating the PO, then the workflow is getting triggered. So now you are the initiator of the process, and in WF_inititor will be hold your user name user01.

Where is the entry which autostart opmn processes and agent on linux COS53?

Hi,
I set up successfully a 10.2.0.5 on CentOS 5.3 (like OEL 5.3),
I see that the opmn processes and the agent are started at boot.
Because I set up the repository on a 10.2.0.4 DB on the same machine I would need to set the start after the DB is up and running (either manage by myself the opmnctl , etc, or editing the current start process to add the dbstart procedure before.
I took a look but I do not see en entry in init.d or in rc.local.
I am missing something.
Could someone give some info?

Workitem and Agent assignment

Well, I have critical requirement.
My requirement is, there is an activity USER DECISION in a workflow. Now, that activity has a standard task automatically assigned to it. That standard is of type general task. The activity has a role assigned to it, which executes at runtime.
Now, whenever the step is being executed, a work item is being generated.
So, in this way there are a number of workitem are generated. I want the tables that would join the workitem number with the Role number or the User assigend to that activity.
Please help.

Well, I am not able to find the item TOP_WI_ID in table SWWWIHEAD. Well, I have found out all the dialog work items by setting the value of WI_TYPE as W.
This gives me the work item and the task related to that.
Now, how can I relate the workitem and the task to the Rule assigend to the activity as I have to run the report and I cannot go manually to find that.

Plugin Process and Webkitplugin Agent

Hi everybody.
I use Snow Leopard 10.6.8 with Safari 5.1.
Watching videos needing Flash Player, I would observe the process Webkitplugin Agent, often seizing 50%, 60% of the CPU. Yesterday in Activity Monitor I noticed during a live video streaming, a process called Plugin Process, stiill using a large amount of CPU. Can anybody explain the role and the difference of these two processes? And is Webkitplugin Agent no more in OS X?

Dynamic Parallel Approval for HCM Process and Forms

Hi everyone,
I have a scenario where I need to use the "Dynamic Parallel Approval" (or to keep it simple, initially I tried using the "Parallel Approval" wizard)for a workflow used in the HCM Process and Forms.
The standard task for approval in process and forms is TS17900101. I have mentioned a multiline container in the Miscellaneous tab of this task. However,I was unable to use this task in the wizard. There are no results attahced to this task unlike any other standard approval task (like TS30200147). I need to use the task TS17900101 in the workflow assigned to process and forms, but not sure how to handle this scenario (parallel approval).
If this is not the right way of doing it, Is there any workaround for "Parallel Approval" in HCM Process and Forms.
Could anybody throw some light around this area.

Thanks Anuj. But I believe, the container element that I add in the miscellaneous tab does not necessarily have to be used in the agent assignment. The multiline container is just to instantiate the workitem 'n' number of times. Correct me if I am wrong.
My concern is that I was unable to use this approval task (TS17900101) in the workflow wizard for dynamic paralle/parallel approval.
Arghadip - Thanks for your suggestion. I have seen some your nice contributions in the WF forum.
I actually tried using the 'Blocks'. But this is what I ran into. When I send multiple approval requests (say 3), if one person has approved it and the second has rejected it,I need to take out the workitem from the third person's list (because it has been rejected by someone in the group). I am not sure if this is possible using Blocks. And in my case the third person is still having the workitem, but gets a dump/error when he tries to open it.
Also, if any one has rejected the request, I do not have to wait for the rest to take any action on the workitem and proceed further. But I guess in 'Blocks' it will not let you go out unless every workitem has been processed.
To summarize,here's what I need - I need to come out of the block for two conditions. One, if everyone has approved, comeout of the block with an apprval flag. Two, if anyone has rejected (even if some have not processed their workitem), delete the workitems from others inbox and come out of the block with a rejection flag.
So, any kind of input or suggestions on how this could be handled would be highly appreciated.

Workflow - Dynamic agent assignment

I am doing Workflow development. I have a question about Workflow Agent Assignment.
I want to assign multiple agents ( 1 or 2 or more agents and It's not static. Each agents have task that processing independent. and next task is started after end of all multiple tasks.).
But I can't dynamic assignment('Adhoc agent assignment' is not that.)
Can you help me?(Is this possible?)

If I have understood you correctly, you have a multiline container element with a number of agents (type wfsyst-agent) - and now you would like to send a workitem to each agent - and not just one workitem to all of your agent.
To achieve this you need to define the task (or sub workflow) as a multiline element. T
his is done in task implementation in the workflow builder. Switch to the tab <b>Other</b>, in here you add your multiline container element containing.
When you now go back to agent assignment, you will find two container elements for your multiline element, use the one with [&_WF_PARFOREACH_INDEX&].
The result will be that exactly one workitem is created for each entry in your multiline container element.

I have created a Org unit "US90" ... but how do I directly assign users to that Org ? ... After creating Org ... it is only allowing to create positions .... and if I create position's (AP_US90_TXTR) and assign the users to the position ... In WE20 if I write "AP_US90_TXTR" in the agent field then it gives an error "Object type S, ID AP_US90_TXTR unknown (please observe upper/lower case)" ... So I am unable to proceed. Could you please help me?

[HELP] ALE inbound process and Workflow handling problem

first of all, i have to apologize about my english level. I will try to explain my problem (thanks for your patience ).
Well, I'm implementing an ALE inbound interface. My development at this point are:
- Customer Idoc Inbound function (with correct interface).
- Customer Basic Type
- Customer Message Type and correct assignment to the Basic Type (Tx WE81 and WE82)
- Customer Object Type (Subtype of IDOCAPPL)
- On BD51 I put "1" for my function.
- On WE57 I put this:
Processing by --> My function and type "F"
IDOC type --> My Basic type (without any extension)
Message --> My message type (without any message code or msg. function)
Object --> My object type (subtype of IDOCAPPL)
Direction --> "2" (Inbound)
- I created a process code for this interface (on WE42):
It is processed with ALE service and by a function module (my function).
On "Module(Inboud)" part I put my function and maximun number of repeats "0". On IDOC part I put my Object type with start event "INPUTERROROCURRED" and end event "INPUTFINISHED".
On application objet I put my Object type.
Rests of fields are blank.
- I defined a partner (WE20) with this new message type and process code.
- Also I created a Task (PFTC) for handle exceptions in inbound process. It has a rule for agent determinate.
I think it is all.
My problem is: when I process an IDOC (from WE19 for example) and it gets 51 status (error), it has to launch an event that trigger my task, is this way? Well I'm not getting any event.
I have all Workflow customizations OK (in this systems are running some Workflows).
In my function code, when I detect any error I put an error in the status table and put in WORKFLOW_RESULT the number '99999'.
Why I'm not getting any event? What I'm doing wrong?

finally I've solved the problem. The solution for me, was a config on tx. WE42 and some missing code in the function, I only fill WORKFLOW_RESULT with '9999', but I didn't add any register to RETURN_VARIABLES table.

BPM User decision Agent assignment

I am working on User decision steps in BPM. I have added Configurable Parameter in Integration Process but after importing it into ID, I am not able to assign any user in parameters. Once I put the value and save/activate, value got cleared out.

Click workflow log (use any of the log transactions, swi1, swi2_freq swi6 etc)
click list with technical details, shift+F9
find the step, click on it and tick the tab container.
But if you could just answer my previous question about how you are sending the mail, because if you directly use email address then it is of course impossible to use that as agent assignment for the user decision.
A user decision is ultimately sent to a user id

       There is a workflow where if an employee is recruited then a mail should be triggered to an unit where there will be certain positions. So, here when what is the agent i should assign for the task. The agent should be assigned through a rule where a condition should be cheked and the responsbility should be found.
                    And what is the recipient type i should assign while i am sending a mail.

            The scenarion what i did is...created one rule with agent determination responsbilities and checked the condition there. After that when i am trying for agent assignmnet to that rule by organisation structure. Will the mail be triggered to all the persons who are in that Structure??........

4) Double click on this
5) doucble click on identification code (WS00400051)

Workflow started, no agent assigned

Hi.
I am working on a treasury workflow (TrLoApprove) to approve the Bp's that will have been created. I have done all the release procedures as required in customisation. But when the workflow is processed it, it is processed in an error state. The error being that there is no agent assigned at the start of the workflow.

Hi Audrey,
Thsi problem is occuring because the workflow you are trying to execute does not have agents specified.
To set the same go to t-code PFTC. Select 'Workflow Template' and go to Change mode. Go to menu path Additional data -> Agent Assignment -> Maintain -> Attribute -> select 'General Task'
You you do not wish to set as general task then assign a particular set of users who could execute the workflow.

Probably will never ever think of buying a locked phone from AT&T cause its one of the worst system integrations ever that these companies could think of.
The entire problem started when I put in a request with at&t to unlock my iphone 4s (ios7) which did get approved. I performed the entire instructions they asked me to do, which is to backup and restore. After doing those instructions my iphone gave me an error message below
The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported.
The SIM card that you currently installed in this iPhone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone. Please insert another SIM card from a supported carrier or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your carrier. Please contact Apple for more information.
Basically saying that at&t hasn't still unlocked the iphone which a really helpful apple executive was able to confirm. I initiated another unlock process from at&t in order to unlock the iphone, just to be sure that its not something wrong from my end. The nice at&t lady stayed on chat with me to unlock the iphone step my step while I was calling the apple tech too. And the apple tech confirmed again that the iphone is locked to at&t.
Now, just a few minutes ago I tried another restore to see if any progress is being made and to my surprise I got an error message saying
Replacement Needed. This iphone is not able to complete the activation process and needs to be replaced. Please visit your nearest apple store or authorized service center.
I feel like I am just going around these two different "money hogger" companies which set certain rules and regulations to screw a regular phone buyer. I purchased this iphone in USA and trying to unlock in India, is it really this hard to simply unlock a device.
For now I am going to try to call a apple office in india (apprently we don't have very many out here) and see if they can help me. But any other assistance regarding unlocking an iphone 4s would be helpful. I have however, tried checking IMEI.info, called up apple, talked to at&t (which always say go talk to apple) I do have a case number from apple as well in case an apple executive reads this discussion forum (case number: 566383594)

Then you connected the phone to a computer with the latest version of iTunes installed. You clicked on the phone's name in iTunes, then clicked "Backup Now". - Yes
When that finished you clicked "Restore iPhone" (NOT "Restore Backup") - Yes
Are you with me so far? - Yes.
And @ Varjak is right that after the 3rd restore I get the replacement error.
Plus I have NEVER jailbroken the iPhone. To give you another update, I spoke to a really nice apple tech in India who was atleast able to get me out of the replacement error by doing a recovery mode option. However, the lastest restore still gives me the same error

Background job fails for BDC profile creation and role assignment

Hi Experts,
I have created a BDC Function module for Tcode 'PFCG' for profile creation and role assignment, and called this FM in my zprogram. the problem is that when i run this program in foreground it executes succesfully, but if i schedule it in background it fails throwing error in job log 'Role 'Z...' does not contain any active authorizations'. But i have created one more program to create authorization objects which runs before this zprogram.I have also checked the authorization object in 'RSECADMIN', it reflects active. I dont understand whats happening exactly when it runs background.
Below is the process of job

For creating authorization objects, role & profile i have created one dummy auth, dummy role & dummy profile respectively.
i have created dummy objects to copy the roles from dummy object and assign the same to new Auth obj, role & profile.
Let me know what needs to be done. because these both the programs run perfectly in foreground, but fails in background.
