Multiple cropped panels on 1 page

Hi there,
Iam sure there is an extremely simple answer to this question but I have been unable to find the information.
Iam looking to create multiple cropped areas on a landscape a4 sheet. Almost like several small independent post card size pages on a single a4 sheet. Is there a simple way to do this?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Not so much a step and repeat.
Let say for example I needed to create business cards for 8 different clients and I wanted to print all 8 on 1 sheet. I would want crop and bleed for each of the 8 cards. Its not so much the layout I need help with, its how to get multiple crop and bleed areas on one page.
Iam familiar with getting these created during the export to PDF phase of a project, but I primarily work with single sheet or 1-up layouts so I never have to deal with this particular issue.
Thanks.

  • Multiple Collapsible Panels on same page

    I am creating a new site using Dreamweaver CS3, temporarily uploaded at:
    http://www.sharpeacademy.co.uk/nick-jackson.co.uk/sharpeacademy/theatrearts/
    I have an email signup form using a collapsible panel (this appears on every page). I want to put a second collapsible panel elsewhere on selected pages with completely different formatting. Is this possible? When I tried to add another panel it adopted the formatting of the email panel. I don't know how to change it while leaving the email styling intact.

    Check the variables at the bottom of the page. When I loaded it in, Dreamweaver said there is javascript widget code that goes to
    widgets that have been removed. Your Spry will not work if the proper code is not at the bottom of the page.
    The yellow border comes from
    .CollapsiblePanel {
        padding: 0px;
      background-color: #FEFAEC;
        border: 1px solid #F1CB00;
        margin-top: 0px;
        margin-right: 0px;
        margin-bottom: 10px;
        margin-left: 0px;
    Running the DW validation check turns up a bundle of nesting errors, etc. If you sort those out, you may find the monkeywrench that is making your collapsible panel not collapse.
    Take advantage of the w3c validators, too:
    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.sharpeacademy.co.uk/nick-jackson.co.uk/sharpe academy/theatrearts/harrow.html&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0
    http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http://www.sharpeacademy.co.uk/nick-jacks on.co.uk/sharpeacademy/theatrearts/harrow.html&profile=css21&usermedium=all&warning=1〈=en
    I think that the widget errors on the CSS validation are non-starters; that is, don't worry about them because they won't validate.
    The rest should be considered.

  • Can't print a photo multiple times on a single page

    I just installed iLife 8 and am trying to print one 3X5 photo multiple times on a single page. When I consulted the help menu in iPhoto, I found what I thought was the answer. When I followed the instructions, I hit a snag because I don't have the Photos Per Page pop-up menu it references. Any ideas on how I can do this to save paper?
    Here's what the help menu said:
    Printing one photo multiple times on a single page
    If you have a favorite photo you want to share with many people, you can print multiple copies of that photo on a single page.
    To print one photo multiple times on a single page
    Select the photo you want to print.
    Click the Print button.
    Select the paper size (such as letter-size or legal-size).
    Select the print size (such as 2 x 3 or 4 x 6).
    If you want to make the photo a custom size, select Custom.
    Click the Customize button.
    Click the Settings button.
    Select “Multiple of the same photo per page” from the Photos Per Page pop-up menu.
    iPhoto will zoom and crop the photo to fit the space available. To make a photo appear full-frame, Control-click the photo and choose “Fit Photo to Frame Size” from the menu that appears.
    Click OK.
    Click Print.

    Well don't I feel stupid! I just installed iLife '08 and assumed that it would tell me right away if I needed any updates. I found and installed the needed updates (7.1.1), I got the right settings drop down menu to print multiples on one page. Thanks for your help

  • Multiple Collapsible Panel Issues

    When I have a single collapsible panel on my page it works
    just fine. However, once I start to add more panels I start to get
    issues. The panels are not nested or anything, I just have the
    following problem:
    With a single panel, the entire tab area is clickable as the
    control to open/close the tab.
    With multiple panels the first panel is as above but any
    subsequent panels lose haveing the entire tab area as clickable.
    What I mean is you can only open or close the tab by clicking on
    the text within the tab itself, rather than any area of the tab.
    I am using 1.6 and ensuring my div id's match the
    corresponding script insert at the bottom of the page etc for each
    new panel.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated
    TIA

    nvm, i had a funny margin value set that was throwing things
    our of whack for some reason, found it totally by accident.
    thanks anyway

  • Multiple crop marks in Ai CS3

    Ai CS3, Win Xp Pro
    I'm setting up business cards for two color printing and need crop marks around each card. Total of 4 cards, 7 cuts. In searching for Multiple Cropmarks on the internet, I'm finding articles that say it's not possible. However, I'm now looking at an Adobe livedocs help page that says:
    Define and view additional crop areas
    Select the Crop Area tool, and then do any of the following:
    To create a new crop area, hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) and drag. Each crop area has a unique number in the upper-left corner.
    To view all crop areas, press Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS).
    To set a crop area as the active crop area, hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) and click the crop area you want active.
    To rotate between crop areas, press Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) and click an arrow key.
    When I select the first cropped area with the crop tool, and attempt to copy it using the ALT key, a number 1 shows up in the upper left corner (ok so far). But as soon as I let go of the mouse button, the cropped area just moves to the place I've copied it to, and still has the number 1 in the corner. When I have the crop tool selected, and an area defined, I can press Enter and get a menu. There is an exclamation icon at the bottom signifying "Crop areas: 1", but there's no box to select multiple crops.
    Am I SOL, or is there a trick to this?
    Thanks,
    Sandoer

    Ok, I've sort of answered my own question with a little more research.
    For those that search this topic, here's what I discovered:
    If you have several items that need to be cut, such as business cards, 8 or 10 up on an 8.5x11 sheet, you can
    +create a stroked box at 2x3.5 (for business cards) around each card.
    +one at a time, select a box and from the drop down menus select Filter>Create>Crop marks.
    This will create marks that a printer can use for multiple cuts.

  • How to open multiple collapsible panels?

  • To print one photo multiple times on a single page

    The title of my question is the title of the page in iPhoto 8 help.
    "To print one photo multiple times on a single page"
    It says (a bit shortened) 1. Select photo 2. Click print button 3. Select paper size 4. Select print size 5 Click Customize button 6 Click Settings button 7. Select "Multiple of same photo per page from the Photos Per Page pop-up menu. 8 Click OK 9 Click Print.
    I can not find the pop-up menu referred to in Step 7. There are two "settings" buttons - neither produce a Photos Per Page pop-up menu. Settings appears if you click a double arrow to the right in the lower margin but only deals with font issues and "Print Settings" does not offer such a pop-up.
    I am using Leopard on a PowerBook G4 and just bought and installed the newest iLife 8.
    Grateful for help.

    Arthur:
    When you click on the Customize button there will be a Setting button in the next window. Click on it and in the drop down window that comes up will be the option to print multiple photos of the same photo per page.
    Select that option and click OK. You'll get the spinning cursor for a few seconds as iPhoto creates the multiple copies on the page you selected. Be sure that the print size is small enough so that you can have multiple copies of it on the paper size you selected.
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Multiple Accordion Panel Overlapping Each Other

  • I need two tabbed panels on a page

    I have the tabbed panels widget working great but would like
    to have multiple panels on my page and it seems that will be hard
    to do given that the Java is called by a div id tag. Any one have
    any suggestions about how to make this work?
    Thanks,
    -TW

    copy paste the tabbed panel. Change the ID to a new unique
    ID.
    Than copy paste the constructors, change the var name to a
    new unique var name, and change the target id inside the
    constructor to your new unique ID.

  • Trying to see if LR can do multiple crop presets before I buy..

    I'm sure basic questions like this can frustrate you regulars, apologies in advance, I've tried tutorials etc but can't find an easy answer to this..
    Aside from organising and making small improvements to my photos, the main reason I am looking to buy LR is to speed up my workflow when it comes to cropping multiple photos to multiple crop sizes.
    I work for a newspaper website, and need to crop photos for about 6-10 different aspect ratios for the different places on the site they appear.
    Is there a way to get my photo, then select crop "300x100", save it quickly, select "300x200", save it quickly and so on... ideally with each saved file inserting  something into the file name to show me later which is which? for big events I can be making galleries of 40 plus photos and so this could really cut down my time.
    Thanks
    Hugh

    Depending on what works for your workflow, you could enter your custom crop(s), then select the photos you would like to "batch" crop, enter the develop module's crop tool ('R' for short) and select the aspect ratio. If you have Auto Sync enabled (bottom button of right panel in develp module when multiple images are selected), it will apply that crop to all selected photos.
    One variation you may want to make is to create virtual copies (you can do that for all selected photos) for each aspect ratio you want to crop. You may also want to assign them labels (such as tags, instructions, color labels, etc) to be able to quickly select all of the photos of a certain crop.
    Hope this helps!

  • How can I have use the same div ID multiple times on the same page?

    Okay so a problem I encounter a lot is that often times I want to use the same div ID several times on the same page. An example of this is when I'm creating table like designs.
    Let's say for instance I create a div ID called 'product-container'. I want to use 'product-container' multiple times on the same page but if I do this it is improper XHTML and will throw errors in any XHTML validator (you are only allowed to use a div ID once on any XHTML page in order for it to be standards compliant).
    Now the first option is that I could define 'product-container' in my CSS style sheet multiple times by doing something like this...
    #product-container {
         width: 300px;
    #product-container-2 {
         width: 300px;
    #product-container-3 {
         width: 300px;
    #product-container-4 {
         width: 300px;
    What you will see there however is that it seems pointless to define the same ID numerous times over (just adding a number on the end) when each ID is the exact same thing and has the exact same attributes.
    Now what I have noticed is that there are some sites out there who manage to have the same ID appear several times in the code but add a number to it just like above. The difference is that they only have one definition for 'product-cointainer' in their CSS document but in their actual XHTML code they have IDs for 'product-container' but with numbers on the end like 2,3,4,5, etc. It's almost as if JavaScript or some other code is automatically appending a number on the end of the ID so the validator won't consider the markup to be invalid, but yet it knows that it's using the same 'product-container' style that is contained in the CSS style sheet.
    I hope I explained this correctly. I'm just hoping to find a way that I can put the same div ID on a page multiple times without having to define it over and over again in my CSS.
    Any help is much appreciated!

    Because it seems like by using a class you can't make this position as
    well as you can by using an ID. Am I wrong?
    An ID name can be used only one time per page.  A class name can be used multiple times per page.
    .product {
    width: 300px;
    text-align:left;
    color: #FF0000

  • How do I show multiple rollover images on a page inserted dynamically (pulled out of a sql database

    How do I show multiple rollover images on a page inserted dynamically (pulled out of a sql database table) using Dreamweaver’s Repeat Region. Example: I have different products each one associated (through their productID) with two images (one that’s showing in the page and one for the rollover effect) that are pulled from a database using Dreamweaver’s Recordset. So I want to end up with a page containing row after row of images(one for every product).When moused over each image will reveal the second (rollover) image for the same product which in turn can be a link(the image itself ) that when clicked leads to a detailed page with more information about the product the image is associated with. To show row after row with images for the different products in the database table I am using Dreamweaver’s Insert Rollover Image command and then the  Repeat Region – I have no problem to complete the steps, to insert the image and the rollover one at once and set the paths so they are pulled dynamically depending on the productID they are associated with .I have also no problem to apply the Repeat Region so not only the first image associated with the first product in the table is shown but all of them-a routine and standard procedure when using the Repeat Region to dynamically generate and display multiple rows of data. However, when I preview the page the rollover effect is lost –the images are shown but when moused over the second  image does not  show. The problem is caused when the Repeat Region is applied-once again I am allowed to apply it but the rollover stops working, a kind of interference. ANY SOLLUTION PLEASE, ANY WORK AROUND.

    I gotta tell you, using multiple images for rollover effects is going to be a big challenge in your dynamic scenario.
    If this were my product page, I would use thumbnails with a bit of CSS opacity or filters to desaturate and make them full opacity/color on mouse over.  Nice effect with much less bandwidth. Easily done globally with CSS code.

  • How Do I Launch Safari with Multiple Tabs Open to Specific Pages?

    I'd like a Windows shortcut that opens Safari with multiple tabs open to specific pages. With other browsers (Firefox, IE, Chrome, etc.), this is easily done by composing a command line that lists all desired URLs. However, Safari doesn't seem to use the same command line syntax as other browsers. Furthermore, I can't find Safari's command line syntax documented anywhere. From the comments I've seen while researching this question, I suspect this is a neglected area of Safari development, and that Safari simply can't be configured to open multiple pages. However, I'd like to make sure. Can it?
    -TC

    It strikes me that it should be possible to do that (or something similar) by building a safari extension, TC. Both Sessions and SafariRestore are able to launch multiple tabs from a previous session, so it seems like you should be able to create an extension that launches multiple tabs open to specific sites when Safari is launched.

    Also, Control+ left/right arrow key will switch spaces if that's what's desired.
