Multiple EAN maintainance with one material with its stock quantity

Hi,
I have a question with regards to EAN.
Basically, I would like to maintain multiple EAN number and its correspondent stock figure of a material into the material master (see following example):
Material: 100200
EAN1  1234903948193 stock quantity  100pcs
EAN2  8374772990291 stock quantity  130pcs
EAN3  1378882990201 stock quantity  163pcs
Does the above possible to be maintain in material master basis view in the additional view with its relevant quantity?
The business rational for maintaining multiple EAN for this material is because this material can be produced in UK, Germany, & France:
EAN1  UK, EAN2  Germany, EAN3  France.
And further, business would like to keep track of how much stock quantity it has on each of these EAN:
EAN1  100pcs, EAN2  130pcs, EAN3  163pcs.

Hi,
Multiple EANs can be maintained for a material in material master but the stock number cannot be tied to it.
For this you can use alternate methods like split valuation where in the valuation type refers to the EAN and this way you can maintain an indirect reference between EAN and stock numbers.

Burn multiple imovie projects to one dvd with menu

How do i burn multiple Imovie projects to one dvd with roxio toast 10? Can i add all of the projects or do i need to export them as a quicktime movie first or something?

You can share the first movie from iMovie, but all the others will need to be exported from iMovie as movies and dragged into the iMovie project.

In code it should be easy.
The following code adds a button called butman with a text "ADD".
It then registers a listener that will be called if the button is clicked.
This listener then calls the runAddData method if you clicked on butman while it contained the "ADD" text and it will call the runClearData method otherwise.
Therefore it will swap the button's functionality between ADD and CLEAR on every click.

Some extra food for thought.
You might want to run the ADD and CLEAR methods in their own threads so that it can run in the back ground, without slowing down your user interface.
I also like to rather reuse one button for multiple functionality in stead of making an application with hundreds of nodes only used rarely with masses of code to show and hide them if needed.

Production order from sales order with multiple line item(for one material)

Dear Gurus,
I am working in MTO scenarios. If there is several line item in a sales order for one material, multiple production order( same as no. of sales order line item) is getting created against each of the line item.My requirement is,since the material code is same in each line item and sales order is one, one production order should be generated for all line item. please tell me how to do it.
(Here for one material, multiple line item is required for some specific reason)

Hi,
This is not possible.
In Std SAP will create one production order for one sales order. The stock is also allocated to thet particular sales order only. Because each and every sales order may vary in any one of the parameters. Considering this, SAP has designed like this.

How do I print multiple photos on one page with a border around each? I've gone the contact sheet route and adjusted the number of columns but there's only outer margins and very little white space between the photos down the middle of the page.

Ok, now I feel stupid! I always thought I was printing 6 x 4 but now I realise I can't have done!!
The photos that I used to print are approx. 5.2" x 4" (i.e. 4 fitted nicely on a page & I had to cut the boarder off).
I guess I just need to play with different sizes under the 'custom' option in order to get the biggest possible picture!

Using Multiple FLV files on one page with one Flash Player

I have a web site with 6 videos. I am hoping to find help figuring out how best to develop the web page that will allow me to associate several FLV files with one Flash Player. And to have each of the videos "launch" when triggered by a link containing the title.
I have the video titles as links that will launch the associated FLV file when clicked. It is a selection menu with the Flash player on the same page.

I don't know which player you're using, but this is usually done with XML or Javascript files (playlists) because you can't directly link to FLVs and have them play in browsers.
That said, Flash is dead as a web technology now because it isn't supported by all the latest and most popular web devices (iPhone, iTouch, iPads). If you want to reach the widest possible audience with your videos, I would suggest using MP4 videos with an HTML5 player that supports playlists.

I have one column with first name and last name in a same cell (like 'Laurent Didden')
I would like to transform automatically one column in 2 columns where one column will be with the first name, and the second column with the last name.
How can I do that?

Excel may have that function, I'm quite sure that Numbers does not. Numbers is in its first version and is not a clone of Excel in any case. The functions are not so complicated as they may seem.
FirstName function translated into English is:
If the WholeName is blank, Then leave the FirstName cell blank; Else put here the Left portion of WholeName, up to one character less than the position of the first Space Character you find in WholeName.
The LastName function translated into English is:
If WholeName is blank, Then leave the LastName cell blank; Else put here the Right portion of WholeName, the number of characters equal to the total length of WholeName minus the position of the first Space Character in WholeName.

Here we have one OLTP with 2 Siebel Analytics, but only one in production. The other two are for Test and Development purposes, so we don´t need to load data everyday from these systems, in case we need to, we try not to overlap with the production load processes.
What´s the reason for you to have 2 diferent DWH & Siebel Analytics systems pointing on one OLTP?

Block one material out of stock for a while, but no saldo correction.

Hi All
I have one material, which is not complete and that is why it is not relevant to sell to any customer.
My question is that how I can block it away from saldo for this certain period. I do not want to do any saldo corrections with MB1B or MB1C and preferably I would not like to transfer it in any other stock.
Is there some transaction that I can use, to block this material as a "incomplete" or something else?

Hi,
For this, there are 2 options:
1. You can block the Material code in MM02 Transaction - BASIC DATA 1 Tab. You will find a filed as "X-plant matl status", set here status as 02.
2. You can also mark this material as DELETED in MM06 transaction.

Material on-order stock quantity calculation

Can anyone tell me the function module or method used by SAP to determine the amount of a material on an open purchase order (not yet received)? I need to document a BW functional spec but cannot seem to be able to document how SAP does this.
Examples of what i am looking for are:
MMBE, on-Order stock quantity (Per material/Plant/Storage Locaiton)
ME2K, Selection parameters WE103 - Still to be delivered (per PO)

I have found that function module previously but cannot seem to be able to execute it.
Import Parameters:
X_ELIKZ = Blank
X_LOEKZ = Blank
X_MATNR = my material number
X_MEINS = Unit of Measure
Tables:
XTAB = What do I use here? 
XWERKS = my plant
No matter what I enter in XTAB (I have tried Blank, EQ, NB so far) I get an ABAP Dump:
The IN itab operator is used with internal tables which have the following structure:
SIGN(1) OPTION(2) LOW LIKE db_field HIGH LIKE db_field
The OPTION column should contain only one of the following values:
"EQ LE GE CP BT NE LT GT NP NB"
The value 00 is not allowed here.
 
When analyzing the error, I found table MDBS that conatians the Order Qty and GR quantity - so I think I may be able to use this instead.

Make to order and stock both in one material with consignment

FERT Material = XYZ which is being used for Make to Order and Make to stock both.
In case of make to stock scenario from GR u2013 101 and PGI made @ std price. At the time of Consignment 631 mvt. No accounting document is generated. As per my knowledge its fine. No issue.
In case of Make to order scenario for above material.
Q.1   At the time of goods receipt (101 Mvt) from production order, accounting document is generated at the rate of Per unit target cost of production order and no variance shown on production order. Why not accounting document is created at Std price of Material?
Q.2 At the the time of consignment an accounting document generated with following entry.
    Finished Goods Inventory      Dr
    Price difference                   Dr
                    Finish Goods Inventory Cr
Why accounting document is generated at the time of consignment in case of make to order scenario? Pls confirm is this a sap standard behavour or anything wrong with me. As I told earlier that in case of make to stock when we make 631 mvt there is no accounting document generated.
Note: My standard price is on the base of mix costing using two production versions. Every time we create production order in each version.

Q1: Why not accounting document is created at Std price of Material?
Check your req class... There is a Field called "Valuation"... your valuation depends on whether you select M or A there... You can decide to valuate based on CK11N std cost estimate or based on Sales order cost estimate / Prod order cost estimate
So, in a nut shell, you can configure the system to generate acc doc at CK11N Std cost also
Q2. Why accounting document is generated at the time of consignment in case of make to order scenario?
In my opinion, your MTO stock is maintained in Table EBEW.. Pls check that... WHen you do GR from Prod order, it resides in EBEW table..
However, when you send it as a cons stock, the link to sales order is lost and your stock is no longer a MTO stock.. Hence, it is valuated at CK11N Std Cost.... If there is a diff between CK11N cost and GR Price, then PRD is generated... Thats why you are seeing PRD in your case

MRP Scheduling with a material with multiple production versions scrap rate

Greetings all.
I have a problem with MRP scheduling. How do you account for different loss rates or scrap rates on a material because of multiple versions of a material that are in production. For example, we have an item. There are two differen ways to make that item and both have different loss rates or scrap rates. How do we account for this. And whatt happens when you have these with multiple routings. Thanks.

It can be handled in 3 ways.
1st way - Create 2 versions to represent 2 ways of production. Create a 3rd version name it as total and make it as a first version so that MRP will take this version for scheduling. In total version give the most correct scrap qty and timming in routing. Hence when you run MRP system will consider the total version, then change the varsion in planned order as per your requirement.
Second way - Create 2 version and if you are using Demand planning, in MD61 against the qty represent the version number so that when youn run MRP, the planned order will carry the version.
3rd way - Create 2 Production version and create a quota arrangement and assihgn these two Production version as Quota items and give the % share. Hence when youn run MRP system will share the demand qty into two different version as per Quiota arrangement(setting in MRP2 is necessary fir planning).
