Multiple productcodes registration same account, which download?

Hello everyone,
We install several Office products for different customers. Therefore we have one registration account where the productcode is given in. The problem is, every Office download looks the same. Which download goes by which productcode?
For example:
Is a new registration always the one on the top or the bottom of the list, or is there some other way to figure out which install goes by a specific productcode?
Thank you.

The code is already used, so one of the entrees in the list is corresponding to this code. But which entree?
When entering the code for the second time, I'll just been directed to the list with downloads (not to a specific download).

  • Multiple Logins to Same Account?

Is it possible to log onto the same account twice?
I've been experimenting with utilities that provide multiple desktops, such as You Control Desktops. I like the idea, but the fact of being in the same account causes some problems. For instance, I see all of the applications in the dock and when Cmd-Tabbing through applications, rather than just those associated with the current desktop. AppleScript doesn't know about the multiple desktops and nor does the Finder, so the Window menu's list of windows can get quite long.
What I figured would be perfect would be to be able to log onto my account more than once, and have each login be separate and know nothing of the other logins. I can then launch any applications needed for that desktop and only the windows for that application launch would be available, not those in other logins.
This would be similar to fast user switching, except that I wouldn't be switching between accounts, but between logins to a single account. This is important so that each of the logins can share the same home folder and preferences.
    Thanks,
    Chuck

I have been. As I mentioned, I'm experimenting with You Control: Desktops, but find it not quite what I want, and as I thought about it, multiple logins would be what I want.
For instance, AppleScript knows nothing about the multiple desktops, so the scripts I've written to check for existing Finder windows and create new ones if it doesn't find them in a certain state will need to be much more complex. The applications visible in the dock and the Cmd-Tab switching include all applications across all desktops, when it would probably be better to show only those on the current desktop. When an application on a desktop other than the current one brings up a new window (such as a sheet for a progress bar), that window appears on the current desktop rather than the desktop that the parent window belongs to, interrupting the work on the current desktop.
I don't see a technical barrier here. This would be similar to how one can have two Terminal windows open, logged into the same account. Honestly, I don't think this is possible with the current version of Mac OS X, but perhaps one of the intrepid developers at Apple will read this and consider it a good enough idea. I can see that either the user or the system or the individual applications might have to be careful about preferences, but that seems minor as prefs seldom change.
So far, You Control: Desktops is almost there for me, but not quite. I've downloaded a couple of other similar utilities, and plan to check them out as well after the demo period for You Control: Desktops expires. Perhaps one of them will suit me better.
    Thanks,
    Chuck

  • Multiple users on same account?

    Hi,
Dumb iChat newbe here... I just signed up for a free 60 day trial on .Mac. I'm trying to use iChat for the first time. I have an intel iMac and an intel MacBook. I'm trying to set up a video conference between the two Macs through the same .Mac account. I've set up different individual cards in Address Book for the two computers. I've gone into the .Mac settings in System Prefs to make sure they are both registered and their Address Books are sync'ed. I've gone into iChat prefs and checked "allow multiple logins for this account".
I can't add the opposite computer on the iChat buddy list so I can't start a video conf between the two Macs. Is this not possible to do or am I overlooking a setting somewhere?

  • Multiple clients with same account on a single IMAP server

    Hi,
I am connecting to a IMAP server using same account but from 2 different machines. From one machine a mark a message as SEEN=FALSE. But on the second machine, the flag will still be TRUE.
Is there any way to co-ordinate between multiple clients so that all the clients are in sync.
    Regards,
    Nitin.

I was able to resolve the problem using addMessageCountListener and messagesAdded method, as suggested by you.
I am now facing another problem. Whenever a new message is received, code inside messagesAdded method gets executed. Here I am trying to spawn another thread and do some stuff. But this new thread is not starting at all. It goes into some JavaMail:EventQueue and does nothing. What is the concept of EventQueue here? How can I get this new thread executed?
Also will there be synchronization problems in messagesAdded method. Say I received a message and I am processing it in the messagesAdded method. In the mean time another message comes up. How will this behave.

  • OpenLDAP and multiple users sharing same account

    Hello.
I have been running an OpenLDAP directory for a while now and users' homes live on an NFS share, which causes problems when the same user is logged in to multiple computers at the same time.
I can tell which users are logged in to which computers and then disable the accounts that are used more than once.
Is there a way to disallow multiple logins or automatically log users out when they log in to different machines? I have 600+ users.

  • Showtime Anytime Multiple Access on Same Account

Having trouble trying to login to Showtime Anytime. When my husband is on, I can't get on. Even though we both have seperate sign on accounts. It is telling me I don't have a Fios account, but I do. I talked to both Showtime & Verizon and they both are pointing fingers at each other.
I have come to the conclusion that is a Verizon problem. Can someone help me please?

You may have separate sign on accounts, but they are of the same subcription account.  Showtime only allows one device from a given subscription to be actively logged in at any given time.

  • Multiple devices on same account - how to transfer ALL files in one place?

    Hi,
I am using my Apple ID on 5 apple devices, incl. 2 laptops and Mac. Need to migrate all files to one computer for syncing with iPhone and cut out some devices, but...
Question 1:  How I can move ALL my music files from old MB Pro (runs Mac OS X 10.5.8) with iTunes 10 to Mac (runs Mac OS X 10.9.2) with iTunes 11.1.5?
Note, this includes songs purchased outside of iTunes and burnt from CDs. Is it possible to somehow easily identify the songs that are missing on Mac and copy just them from the old computer, but without manually comparing? For now for whatever reason Mac only has 401 songs vs my old MB Pro has 1670+ songs. So, please suggest how to make the import on the missing songs to Mac as efficient as possible.
Question 2: How do I deauthorize the device once I copy my old music to Mac? Currently only see the button "Deathorize All" in iTunes on Mac. What if I want to choose which computers I still want to be able to stay on the same Apple ID in iTunes?
    Thanks a lot!!

Decide which Mac is your primary. On the Mac that is not the primary - create a folder on the desktop - drag all the tunes from iTunes into that folder - copy that folder to an ext HD or a memory stick.
Plug into the primary Mac and tell iTunes to import all the tunes from the folder.
iTunes has good sort options so it won't take long to get rid of the duplicates using the Show Duplicates from the View dropdown menu.
An alternative would be to check at http://dougscripts.com/itunes/ and see if there is a script that will take care of what you want.

  • Help! Using multiple ipods on same account - for education

Hi, I'm a primary school teacher and have just purchased 5 ipods to use with Year 2 students in the classroom. Is there any way of syncing the songs and/or short movies to all 5 ipods? I don't mind paying for these things once but not 5 times each time I need a little video! Please help me...the kiddies are aching to use them!
    Thanks,
    Bree

No problem... you can sync the same data, including purchased media, to multiple iPods. The 5-computer limit applies to the number of computers you can authorise to play your tracks, not the iPods they can be played on.

  • IChat - Synching Chatting History from multiple devices on same account

I currently have the iChat server up and running on a MacMini running OS X 10.6.4. I see in the iChat client on my MacBook Pro where it will load past messages when I open a chat with a buddy. I am also running a jabber client on my iPhone (IM+ is the iPhone app). What I am curious about is if there is a way to load chat history for the account, not just from the device.
For instance, when using Skype the following will occur. I can chat on my iPhone, and then when I login to my Laptop, the history of chats sent from my iPhone will be added to the history on my Laptop. I am trying to prevent having to look back at every device I use my jabber account on to find that one IM message that has the information I need.
Is there a way to sync the account on all clients (or at least just my MacBook Pro) so I can view chats there sent from all my devices and not just from my Laptop?

    Tim,
I have turned on the logging feature inside of the iChat server, and I have seen all IMs being sent are saved.
So do you think this is more of a client side problem of not being able to sync from the Message Archive on the OS X Snow Leopard 10.64 iChat server? Meaning that if the IMs are being saved, then all that really needs to be done is to create a client that will access the server log and do a compare of its local saved history with the server saved history and then takes any missing IMs and adds to its local history log?
Am I far off base on this, or does this seem feasable?

  • Multiple clients on same account? Feature request...

    Hi,
I suspect many or most users have a phone and a PC of some sort.  I have a Mac laptop and a Linux box and an Android phone.
My problem is that I can only have one client signed in at a time.  If I'm on (for example) the Mac, then close the lid and run off, I have issues with Skype on the phone.  When I come back, I have issues with Skype on the Mac again if I didn't sign off of the phone before opening the lid on the Mac.
I would like some sort of "use this one" button that I can direct all activity to the Skype client in front of me rather than have it go to whatever I just stopped using.
It would also be handy if there were a setting of some sort.  What I can think of would be something like this:
1  If the system wakes up and Skype is running, then automatically grab activity.
2  This is my primary client.  Use it when not sleeping no matter what.
3  This is a secondary client.  Show me what's going on but don't make it active unless I'm actively using it.
Sorry if this has been requested before.  It would be amazingly handy.
    Thanks.

How can I restore my old account music purchases which I closed, to my new current account which has a new computer name, email address and Apple ID? The credit card details remain unchanged, so would this act as a tracking device  for Apple to locate my substantial past purchases?

Why would you start another account?
You cannot transfer purchases to another account.
